Author's note: Okay before I start I just want to clear that this story is inspired by the fanfiction 'Not Your Ordinary Girls' by 'LadyClassical' so please go check it out, its awesome. Also if you think i should not post it please tell me, I'll gladly take it down. Also I wrote this story an year ago so there may be some mistakes.

Chapter1: I'm a...WAIT! WHAT?
Kurama woke up as the alarm rang. Stifling a yawn he got out of the bed
'I feel so miserable' he walked towards the dresser to comb his hair and stopped dead on his tracks upon seeing his reflection in the mirror.
"Is it some kind of poster?"
He tried to remove it but didn't came out. He raised his hand and so did the person in the mirror.
'What the hell?'
He looked down at his body. A high pitched female scream left his throat.
"What has happened to me?"
His body was..*ahem*..quite different. His shirt was a bit tight around his chest and his trousers were tight below his waist.
"Shuichi? Is everything okay?"
His mother's voice snapped him out of his thoughts. The door opened revealing his mother's horror stricken face.
"Oh dear! Look at you!"she said
'Oh shoot'
"You're such a mess Shuichi. A girl shouldn't be like that" she smiled.
'GIRL? She doesn't remember I was a boy?'
Shiori took a comb and started brushing Kurama's hair.
"There. All done", she said.
"Thank you mother", he replied.
'My voice is all girly'
"Mother, I'm going to a friends' house"
"At least change your clothes first"
"Uh..Right"
Kurama knocked at the door. A woman with brown hair opened the door.
"How may I help you?" she asked
"I want to meet Yusuke"
"You can go to her room. Kuwabara-san is there too" she said
"Okay"
Kurama opened the door to Yusuke's room. Both, Yusuke and Kuwabara were fast asleep.
"Yusuke, wake up!" whispered Kurama. "Kuwabara! Wake up you lazy people"
"Mmhmm...Who are you?" asked Yusuke, rubbing his eye.
"It's me, Kurama"
Yusuke sat up with a jolt.
"What in the Three Worlds happened to you?" Yusuke asked."You've become a girl"
"Umm..I..Well, why don't you take a look at yourself first?"
"What? Me?" Yusuke looked down at himself "I don't think there is much difference except that I lost a couple of pounds since yesterday and have got a disease that has caused my chest to swell up a little" said Yusuke.
Kurama slapped his hand on his head, annoyed. He grabbed Yusuke's arm and dragged him to the mirror.
"Look at yourself", he said pointing at the mirror "And don't scream" he added
Yusuke looked in the mirror. In place of his reflection there it was of a girl, with shoulder length hair, who looked a lot like him. Yusuke did the same as Kurama. He raised his hand and so did the figure in the mirror.
"Hey Kurama, you sure you didn't jinx the mirror or something?" he inquired looking at Kurama.
"I wish that were true but unfortunately I haven't" Kurama replied.
"Okay..but now what will―"
"Hey! Something's wrong with my body", Kuwabara shrieked.
"Well, you've become a girl", replied Kurama calmly.
"Hey Urameshi, you've become a girl too" said Kuwabara
"Yeah.." Yusuke said in a bored tone
"And who are you miss?" he asked, looking at Kurama.
"I'm Kurama"
"Oh..I thought you were some beautiful lady"
"Well no female is gonna date you when you yourself are a female" said Kurama smiling.
"Anyways, so I have to be around a boy for my protection now? How embarrassing" Yusuke complained
"In case you don't know, girls are perfectly capable of defending themselves" replied Kurama
"Yeah, whatever. But we will have to wear girly clothes"
"Well no escaping that one"
"By the way, isn't Kuwabara looking like an idiot in that Afro" Yusuke teased
"Watch it Urameshi, you also don't look very beautiful in that messy shoulder length hair of yours"
"Thank you. I wasn't very excited on getting compliments for being beautiful"
"Enjoying your new bodies already?"
They turned around to see a black haired female with a katana. She had ruby red eyes and was wearing a black robe which seemed a little long for her body seeing short she was.
"Hiei!" Kurama smiled widely "You turned into a girl too"
"Yeah, and I'm not very happy about it. Whoever did this will pay dearly" He takes out his katana.
"Now, now Hiei, no need to get so violent. First we have to contact Koenma and ask him if he knows how we can transform back to boys" said Kurama
"Well my detective bag is in the hall and I cannot go there, my mom will freak out" Yusuke complained again
"Umm.. no, only spiritually aware humans can tell we were boys. The rest would think we were girls the entire time" said Kurama
"Oh, that's good" said Yusuke as he ran off to bring his detective gear.
"Hey, Kurama?"
"What is it Kuwabara?"
"You know, you would have been the most beautiful girl in our school if you were in it" Kuwabara complimented and Kurama blushed
"O..Oh thank you"
Yusuke came inside the room with his spirit detective gear, which was more of a briefcase. He opened it. On one side there was a screen and around it were several buttons.
"Okay, I'm gonna call Koenma"
Yusuke pressed a button and after a few seconds a toddler with a pacifier in his mouth appears on the screen.
"Yes Yusu..ke? Is that you, YUSUKE?" Koenma shrieked in horror
"Yeah, it's me. And what the hell is wrong? Why have I become a girl?"
"Hmm..I'm not sure if it is for the reason I know because this has only happened once before"
"Only once?" Kuwabara asked looking horrified
"Well yes. I think what happened was that some demon cursed off your Y-chromosome and replaced it with an X one"
"Is there any way of reversing it?" Kurama asked
"Is that you, Kurama?" Koenma asked looking at Kurama, shocked
"Yes"
"Oh my! You are beating the most beautiful girls of the era with that face" he complimented
"Thank you, but right now tell us a way to reverse this curse"
"Oh right. The only way to reverse this curse is to kill that demon"
"Heh. That would be EASY" said Yusuke enthusiastically.
"Right. With millions of demons in the demon world, I would pray for you to be able to find that demon in a hundred years" Kurama retorted sarcastically
"Thanks for the discouragement, fox boy" said Yusuke loosing the enthusiasm he had before
"Well first things first. Check if the clothes in your wardrobe are fit for you to wear in this girl's body"
"Right, fox boy"
Yusuke walked up to his closet and opened it.
"Well looks like we have a lot of shopping to do"
"Right. You better change so we can get casuals and uniforms"
"FINE" The rest huffed in annoyance
Around four hours later, they returned with dozens of shopping bags and some snacks.
"Man, I'm hungry" Yusuke said as his stomach growled "Good thing we decided to bring snacks with us"
"I don't see a reason for being dragged into a human super market" frowned Hiei
"So, do demons have supermarkets too?" asked Kuwabara
"Tell me, how can someone be so stupid?" Hiei snapped
"Hey watch it shorty!"
"Stop fighting or the burgers will get cold" said Kurama, taking a bite of his burger
"Fine, and I wouldn't bother wasting my energy on someone so stupid. What's this?" Hiei asked, picking up a locket from the floor. There was a silver fox structure with 5 tails on it.
"Hey! Give it back!" Kurama said while trying to snatch it from Hiei.
"You were too slow, fox" Hiei said as he turned the locket around to get a better look. He was still running around as Kurama was trying to snatch the locket from him.
"Hey Kurama, cut it out. Its just a locket." said Yusuke, stepping in between the two.
"Out of the way Yusuke"
Kurama accidentally stepped on a can and fell on top of Yusuke, who fell on top of Hiei, who fell on top of Kuwabara.
"Ouch! Huh? How come you three feel so light. Girls are supposed to hate weights" Kuwabara said in surprise
"Now that you mention it, Kurama does feel light on me" said Yusuke
They all removed themselves from the floor and sat.
"Well looks like we've turned back to boys" Kurama said brightly
AWKWARD SILENCE
"Umm..right..everyone except you" said Yusuke
AWKWARD SILENCE
"Why are you joking?"
Yusuke, this time, grabbed kurama by his arm and dragged him to the mirror.
"Take a look at yourself" he told Kurama
"I don't understand...Why?" Kurama said as he fought tears in his eyes to win over his pride "Well I guess god hates me"
With that he grabbed his shopping bags and left.
"I hope he will be okay" mumbled Yusuke
"I'm home" Kurama announced as he entered the house
"Welcome home dear" said his mother "Whoa! Shuichi that's a lot of shopping"
"Ah yes. My clothes were quite baggy and I felt I should buy some new ones"
"At least you started shopping for yourself. I'm glad dear. I was so worried as you weren't into shopping"
"Yeah" Kurama smiled wearily
"Is everything okay? You don't look so cheerful" Shiori asked
"Yes mother, I'm fine. Just a bit tired"
"You should rest. I'll wake you up when it's dinner time"
Kurama nodded and went up to his room. He arranged the dresses in his wardrobe and went to bed. As soon as his head touched the pillow tears leaked out of his eyes.
'I guess I'm alone then.'
He cuddled the pillow and buried his head in it to stifle the sobs that were threatening to escape. He cried for what seemed like and hour, and when he finally brought himself to relax a little, he slept.
Author's note: This was the 1st chapter and I am again repeating that I wrote it an year ago so it is not at all perfect. I made some changes but not too many. Please tell me if you liked it and if I should continue writing this story or not.
