Chris was sitting on a gorgeous beach, sipping on some lemonade and lounging in a sun chair when he was approached by a person he didn't recognize. A short girl, probably about twelve years in age. She had huge glasses on that covered her bright blue eyes and her hair was done in a loose ponytail. She was wearing some shirt with a cool looking robot on it and baggy black pants, which confused Chris.

"Uh, are you a fan?" he asked, "Cause you're kinda blocking my way and also why are you wearing pants on a beach? You should be wearing shorts, it's like a hundred degrees out here!"

"You're Chris McLean," she replied, adjusting her glasses.

"Yeah, I am. Impressed? Want me to sign something for you?"

She shook her head.

"I am Dana. Dana Starshine."

"Cool last name, you get it from the store?"

She shook her head once more.

"I come to you with a proposal."

She held a hefty looking script out to him, not smiling or anything, just appearing dull as can be. He took it from her, putting some sunglasses on to better look at the words. He read it in its entirety as she stood and watched, waiting for feedback. As he went on, he cocked his eyebrow in interest, causing her to slightly smirk.

"This is honestly pretty good, kid. But I ain't got the money for this, kinda working on something else right now. And that cost me a fortune."

"You won't have to pay a dime. My father owns a robotics company, he'll fund the entire thing."

Chris grew a huge grin across his face, thinking about how he could make money without spending any money.

"What are your terms? I can't just agree to this blindly."

"One, I will co-host your show. Two, I get to be in charge for at least two episodes. I assure you, I can be as brutal as Chef. Three, I have to agree to each challenge you suggest. Four, my father and I will get ten percent of the profits from this, the rest going directly to you. Five, I will accept the contestants, you will not. In that script there is a full contract you can read and sign."

"Only ten percent? You're insane, there's gotta be a catch."

"No catch, this is a dream of mine. I want this to come to life. My father will build everything we need to make this a reality, trust me, his company is good. We will produce the show and its commercials, sending out an application for everyone to submit back to us. Do we have a deal?"

"Well...there's no real downside to this. Sure, why not?"

The two shook hands, Dana smiling brightly.

"Wonderful! I was worried I was going to have to have my father send people to enforce the idea on you."

"Yikes. I like your style, Dana."

"Good, I'm glad."

She passed him a business card with her name and an address.

"California, eh?" Chris scratched his chin.

"Yes and no. It's a manmade island, courtesy of my father, in the ocean right outside of California. It will satisfy our need for a setting. Be there in two weeks for the preparations."

"Sounds good to me...but...what will this'd be called?"

"Heh. Total Drama...Mega Mechas! Cool, huh?"

"Eh..."

"Whatever, you don't need to think it's cool. Just be there."

With that, Dana left the beach and Chris, hiding an excited expression on her face as she walked.

Yes, another Total Drama SYOC! I know, I'm running one already, but they are just so much fun. And I've got big plans in the works. For this SYOC there will only be fourteen spots, as the goal is to have it completed before Space Station. The rules and the application will be posted on my profile, beneath the Niagara Hero Academy application. I will be starting the story in January 2021, so send in those apps! Thank you in advance,
