Dana and Chris were gathered on an incredibly large stage, looking like ants in comparison to the structure. It seemed sturdy and large enough to support a great amount of the contestants in their mechs, yet it somehow still creaked as they walked on it.

"Last time on Total Drama Mega Mechas: the contestants were introduced to their very first mechless challenge, a faceoff against an army of security robots. The pilots were all given water guns to work with, and several refill stations were set up all around the dome, yet people still failed to take down the bots quick enough to save their own hides. Some fell pretty early on, namely Larida and the group of four holed up in the art gallery, Daniel, Calvin, Mitchell, and Celeste. But others, like Yves, managed to go pretty strong for a while, until Garett maniacally locked everyone out of the library except for Caleb, Valerie, himself, Blaster, and Margaret. Things got tense inside when Margaret demanded to know what was so special about the library to the Bots, which pushed Valerie over the edge, causing her to retaliate in rage against Miss Mafia and alert the security robots of their location, giving the Droids their first win for the season and sealing her fate later on in elimination. With the Bots only leading by one player, will they manage to keep their lead or will they fall behind after their good start? Who will sabotage who? Who will outshine who? Find out on this stylish and fly episode of Total Drama Mega Mechas!"

The camera flew through the sky, going all the way down to the ground and into the dome, right in the center of a field inside.

"Dear mom and dad I'm doing fine," was heard as Buck was seen strumming a tune on his banjo happily while Daniel danced to the country tune wildly.

"You guys are on my mind," the camera swung past the two to show Caleb rolling his eyes while sitting at a table in the cafeteria. Larida was smiling cheerfully and patting the young looking gent on the head.

"You asked me what I wanted to be and I think the answer's plain to see," at a nearby table, Mitch was reading a book that he wrote to the ever-shy Celeste, who was happily listening to him.

"I wanna be famous!" Margaret ran past the two, startling them as a pair of security robots were chasing her.

"I wanna live close to the sun," suddenly, Margaret ran into Valerie and fell over, rubbing her head as the shy girl erupted in anger and the two started screaming at each other, scaring away the robots.

"So pack your bags, cause I've already won," the camera swung over to the outside of the dome, where Calvin was at the entrance, searching for clues of some sort, before waving to the camera with a bright smile and going stone-faced, realizing that he should be focusing on his task at hand.

"Everything to prove, nothing in my way, I'll get there one day," Yves was close by to the secret agent, watching him closely while keeping to herself and blasting an unsuspecting Garett with a water gun, as he was attempting to blast Calvin.

"I wanna be famous!" Blaster ran past the two, pretending to be a cyborg and blast some robots with her arm, only to knock over Brittany, who looked at the airhead angrily.

"Na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na," the camera swung up to the sky, showing each and everyone's mechs being shot out of the top of the dome, with each person in them.

"I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous! I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous!" the light had faded from the sky and the camera showed the fourteen contestants in a jet takeoff room, seated in a circle while Chris and Dana stood in the center, each with mischievous looks on their faces.

Once the opening had finished, the two team could be seen in the cafeteria, being served by a robot that looked pretty identical that the Chef that everyone knew and loved, but he lacked the intensity of the real one. There was only two tables in the room, so each team sat apart. On the Droids side of things, with only five people at their table, blaster was happily munching away at her slop from robo-chef as she pretended to blast him with her prosthetic arm, as if it were a cannon. Garett had his guitar strapped to his back, ready to take it out to play at any time, though he hadn't grown used to the disgusting food yet. He just stared at it blankly while his team ate. Margaret could also barely stomach the stuff, but she kept her intense appearance, even while eating. Calvin careful looked down at the slop, wondering if it was even okay to eat, but deciding it must be fine since Blaster hadn't yet spasmed or collapsed. Daniel's head bobbed in tune with music that was playing in his head while ate his food, keeping the energy that he brought one day one.

"Mm, this food is so good!" Blaster mentioned to her team, earning a good deal of strange looks from them.

"Uh, we eating the same stuff?" Margaret questioned the girl, who shrugged in response.

"Definitely not good," Garett mumbled as he pushed his off to the side, Blaster quickly claiming it as her own.

"It's alright," Daniel added, "Could use some salt, though."

"Well, as long as everyone can eat it, I guess it must be safe," Calvin looked down at his slop, which was bubbling up like lava.

Margaret looked over at his with a glare, causing the slop to hiss at her like a rabid animal before returning to its soup-like state.

"On second thought," Calvin continued, "I think I'll pass."

Confessional

"We've been here about two weeks now," Margaret noted, "It's not luxury at all, but it's livable. Some of the people here make me question how they've survived up to this point...that Blaster has eaten more of the food than anyone else here. It's kinda worrisome."

"I'm worried for Agent Coil," Calvin looked fearful as he imagined just how much of Chef's food she's eaten. "That can't be good for you."

"Mmm!" Blaster had another bowl of the slop with her as she sat in the confessional. "It's just so tasty, I'm not sure why they don't like it."

Confessional End

At the Bots table, there was still six people who seemed to be a little more friendly with each other for the most part. Yves sat next to Buck, having gained some amount of trust in the boy that helped her in the last challenge. He had his banjo with him, on his back as Garett had his guitar, while he chatted up a storm with Larida, who was talking about her son and how she missed him. Caleb was playing chess with Mitchell, who was taking forever to make his moves, paranoid that each wrong move would bring him closer to some kind of doom. Celeste watched the author as he made his moves, clapping as she thought he was doing alright, only to fall victim to the chess superiority of the boy across the board.

"Gah!" Mitchell was shocked to find himself in checkmate while Caleb smirked at him. "I knew it! I've been being played for a fool this whole time."

"I can't believe you gave up your king in an attempt to protect your pawns," Caleb laughed at him. "Come on, that doesn't make any sense!"

"O-oh," Celeste spoke really quietly, gaining the attention of the two boys who haven't heard her talk before. "It's alright...y-you can always try again..."

"Woah," Mitchell was taken aback. "You talked to us."

"I-I...I did...didn't I?"

"Interesting," Caleb stroked his chin as he thought about these new developments. "Seems she likes you, Mitchell."

"W-w-what? What makes you..."

"Huh?" Mitchell seemed a little confused about the whole situation. "What do you mean by that?"

"She has a 'crush' on you. It's obvious. She pretty much only hangs around you, and she has only decided to speak to try and cheer you up after a humiliating loss."

Confessional

"Not talking around Caleb ever again," Celeste grumbled. "He's a jerk."

"Don't see why Mitchell should care," Caleb rolled his eyes, "Girls have cooties, doesn't he know?"

"Crush on me?" Mitchell almost laughed it off. "Pfft, impossible! Caleb's trying to get me to lower my guard!"

Confessional End

"Yer son seems real, nice," Buck said to Larida, who was showing a lot of pictures. "Why is his hair purple?"

"Oh, he's just cool like that!" she put her pictures away, "I miss my Maxie..."

"You'll get to see him soon enough," Yves mumbled. "This competition won't last forever anyways."

"I know, it's just that this is the longest time I've spent away from him. It feels like a part of me is missing."

Larida sighed as Buck patted her shoulder, ushering in Dana and Chris, the first of which had her down for some strange reason, attracting the attention of Caleb who gasped at the sight, causing Mitchell and Celeste to look at him confused.

"Woah, uh, huh, hm, I , uh, wow, this is, just, oh my," Caleb seemed to be broken as he tried to find what words he was looking for.

Mitchell traced his eyes, trying to see what he was looking at that caused him to ogle like that, discovering the source to be Dana. He and Celeste giggled among themselves, immediately looking down at their teammate.

"Somebody's got a crush on the host," Celeste joked, causing his face to fluster.

"I do not!" Caleb crossed his arms and looked away from Dana, who was now alerted to and confused about what was going on.

"Uh...right," she adjusted her glasses and cleared her throat. "It's time for your next challenge. Head to the field immediately and get ready for take-off into the city."

"Man, this show is getting stranger everyday," Chris mumbled as he and his co-host walked out of the cafeteria, leaving the two teams to get up from their tables.

"I wonder what it is this time?" Blaster asked her team for their opinion on the matter.

"If yer lucky, a free stomach pump," Garett joked, receiving an elbow to the side from Daniel.

"I'm willing to be it's gonna be a power showdown!" Daniel continues, "You know, we each show off our powers against each other."

"Don't think so," Margaret rolled her eyes. "Even if it was, we would need to coordinate a lot better than our other field challenges for it. Which means you would have to listen to me for a change."

"Agent Diablo," Calvin started, interrupting her, "Why you? Couldn't we all agree on a leader."

"I have leadership experience, duh. I'll simply be the best at it if you all just listen to me."

"Okay!" Blaster cheered. "It makes sense, she's got a cool hat so she must be a good leader."

The team looked a little confused about Blaster's assessment, except for Margaret who was all too pleased to have the support of at least one of her teammates. This would only lead to her gaining the allegiance of the others in due time, it was all too thrilling to think about as they walked out of the cafeteria.

Confessional

"Most of my team is a bunch of nincompoops," Margaret grumble as she thought about how annoying the group could be when they weren't listening to her. "Blaster too, but hey, at least she'll listen to my ideas from time to time."

"I'm not a huge fan of that Margaret," Daniel looked concerned for the wellbeing of some of his other teammates, "She just orders us around with no interest for who we are at all. I don't want to sit around and take orders from anyone like that."

Confessional End

When the contestants finly got suited up in their mechs and launched into the city, they found thenselves before the giant stage that was introduced earlier. Above them, in the sky, Chris and Dana were in a helicopter that was being piloted by Robo-Chef.

"Welcome, pilots, to the Cali-Tokyo Amphitheater!" Chris shouted down at the contestants through a megaphone. "This amphitheater is based off of the one that made it's debut in Total Drama Island so many seasons ago. It was...hang on...Island, Action, World Tour, Revenge, All-Stars, Pahkitew, the other one...technically seven seasons ago now! Isn't that weird?"

"Yes, very weird, Chris," Dana intervened, taking control of the announcement. "Now, as far as your challenge goes for today, you'll be doing something much like the talent show in Island, somewhat of an homage to it. You'll be nominating three of your teammates to perform in this style challenge. Each nominated player has to destroy a paper maché mech opponent on the amphitheater. You'll be graded based on how stylish I deem your performance, and you only have one minute to defeat said opponent. This challenge is being solely run by me. You will have to decide among yourselves who you're nominating within the hour and that hour starts...now! Good luck."

With the end of the announcement, Robo-Chef flew away with the two hosts, only leaving the eleven contestants and the stage. On the Droids' side of things, Margaret had already started to take control in her own leader-like way. She was sizing each of her teammates up, trying to decide by herself, but finding it hard to understand one key factor to this challenge and how to go about it.

"Alright, listen up," she called her team's attention. "This challenge is being decided by Dana, right? So what we's need to do is think how she thinks. What does she think is cool?"

"Oh! She thinks I'm cool!" Blaster offered a valuable piece of information to her team. "She was interested in me when I first showed up."

"Right, I think I remember that...something about Chris telling her not to pick favorites in a show like this. You'd be perfect for this challenge, then. What else does she like? And don't say anything stupid unless you want to end up like that rich brat."

"Sheesh, relax!" Daniel spoke up against her. "She likes Garett, she's a huge fan of his."

"Of course she is," Garett replies, complimenting himself. "Who in their right mind isn't?"

"Good, that'll work. We can put Garett and Blaster...now as far as our last contestant goes..."

She size herself up in comparison to her two teammates, trying to figure out who would work best.

"Agent Anderson is really good at captivating the audience with his mech's dance skills!" Calvin added, hoping he'd helped.

"No, he won't work at all. He's just..."

"Just what? I'm willing to bet that you can't finish that sentence because the only reason you don't want me to go is because I won't take every order from you like some sort of puppet."

"What'd you just say?"

"You heard me loud and clear. I'm standing up for us, you're not the boss of us. And you know what? I'm gonna show you that I don't need your leadership to succeed in this challenge, I'll do just fine."

"And when you fail and lose the challenge for us?"

"If that happens I'll leave the contest at the elimination ceremony tonight."

"You know, that sounds like the only good idea you've ever had."

"Whatever, you'll see."

The two turned their mechs away from each other, heading in different directions and leaving their other three team members by themselves. Garett seemed all too thrilled with their drama while Calvin and Blaster, on the other hand, were a little nervous about what it meant for the team.

Confessional

"Now that would make for a good song!" Garett started to play an interesting melody on his acoustic guitar. "A showdown between a dancing king and the mafia queen, the darndest thing you'd ever seen, people came to watch the scene, to watch them bet their souls. It'll be a hit!"

"I don't really like all the fighting those two are doing," Blaster looking upset about the whole ordeal, "I mean, I think it's giving me third person stress!"

"Agent Diablo is really intense, that's for sure, Calvin noted before stroking his chin in thought, "That name sounds so familiar...hm..."

Confessional End

Things on the Bots' side weren't going any better than their opponents, as Caleb was trying to take control of things in his own...complicated way.

"We need to think about this in a very careful way, allow me a moment," Caleb said before shutting his eyes and imaging boundless possibilities of what could happen in different scenarios.

"Uh...are ya gonna-" Buck was cut off by an angry Caleb.

"Hush! I need silence so I can do this!"

Buck rolled his eyes, but let his teammate continue. Finally, after a few minutes, he came to some sort of conclusion.

"Okay, I'm done."

"Okay," Mitchell tried to get the boyish one to explain, "Are you gonna tell us what your thinking of?"

"It doesn't matter."

"What do you mean?" asked Larida. "We haven't even done anything yet."

"I mean it doesn't matter what we do, it's impossible for us to win this challenge."

"Impossible?" asked Buck, "We ain't done nothin' yet!"

"We don't need to. Let me explain the problems. One, Larida is unable to compete in this challenge. Dana is judging based on style and Larida doesn't have that, her mech is more...cute for the lack of a better word. And Two, Buck can't compete in this challenge. Your mech is a support mech, it won't be interesting to watch in something like this."

"Now wait just a darn minute. Didn't ya see how I took down Calvin a little while ago? That was pretty slick!"

"Yes, but you can't do the same thing again, it won't have as much of an impact. You're a one trick pony. Now then, Yves will surely score the highest of all of us. She'll get nine, if she performs to the best of her ability. Then there's Mitchell. He could probably get a six if he's really flashy, but he's limited by his inability to fly and lack of projectiles. Celeste could also probably get a seven if she did her absolute best, but that's unlikely. And if Yves performs that peak will lower to a five and probably a four, since you two have similar mechs. That leaves me. I could get a seven if I used all of my moves, since I'm the only one with projectiles."

"Okay, first of all, that's kind of a rude assessment-" it was Celeste this time that was cut off by the boy.

"I knew you guys would be difficult about this, that's why I didn't want to explain."

"Okay, but what if we did what you said?" Mitchell asked. "Yves, you, and I perform, couldn't we win then?"

"You're forgetting a key part of this challenge: our enemies. Sure, we have a good army of pawns on the board, but they've got the special pieces that we're lacking. Blaster, for example, is the rook. She's powerful, and once she let's loose it means no good for all of us. She'll definitely be picked and score an eight minimum. Then, there's Garett, the bishop. You can sometimes forget that he's there, but when he goes all out you'll regret forgetting about him. He'll get a nine, no problem. Finally, Daniel the pawn that's reached the end of the board. What will he do? We don't know, but whatever it is, it's sure to rock the boat. He'll get a perfect ten. We can't win."

"But yer not giving us a chance!" Buck argued.

"It's better that we just accept our defeat and concede before we shame ourselves. Now, for elimination, I suggest Larida. Her old age is a handicap on herself and this team."

"What!?" Larida immediately started heading towards him, as if ready to attack. "Why I oughtta..."

Yves grabbed her, holding her back from attacking him, though the team was all in agreement about what they thought of his attitude right now.

Confessional

"How conceited can one person be?" Yves crossed her arms as she thought about Caleb's sense of superiority.

"He's stepping out of line," Mitchell scribbled something down, "We're all gonna be doomed because of him!"

"Won't even let me finish my argument," Celeste grumbled.

"Dude acts like a child," Buck griped, "So full of his little self."

Confessional End

The time had come fore the contestants to perform on the stage, with Chris and Dana hovering back over to watch everything go down. The first to step up to the plate was Mitchell, ready to get this thing over with. The paper maché mech that was mentioned before was certainly...something. It wasn't much to look at, but it didn't really matter. As soon as Mitchell situated himself, Dana started his minute. He immediately pulled a classic horror move, shifting behind his enemy's back and stabbing into it multiple times, each one ringing out in a horrific sound until the enemy was reduced to a pile on the stage. He looked up to the helicopter to see his score.

"Hm," Dana thought as scribbled down a number on a drawing bad, which was connected to a screen on the outside of a helicopter. "Six out of ten."

Mitchell grumbled, having gotten the score that Caleb predicted for him, and shuffled off of the stage. The next to get on was Blaster, a new enemy being set up for her. Immediately she was far more interesting than Mitchell was, firing off two blasts from her arm cannons and taking out her opponent's legs. She moved over to the enemy quickly, putting the blades on her arms at its paper neck and decapitating it, sending the head into the crowd of other mechs.

"Ooh!" Dana scribbled something down, revealing it to be a perfect ten out of ten and shocking the Bots.

Blaster cheered for herself as she got off of the stage, returning to her own team which was congratulating her for her performance.

Confessional

"Boom!" Blaster shouted, "Another big win for Blaster Coil!"

Confessional End

Caleb went onto the stage, though he wasn't all too thrilled about the challenge. He faced his paper opponent with not much enthusiasm, firing off several large pawns in different directions before shifting his mech to kick each one towards his enemy, causing it to break apart after it was hit with the last one. His team knew he did good, but didn't want to cheer for him on account of his attitude.

"Seven," Dana had wrote for all too see, exactly what he predicted.

He returned to his team and they scoffed at him, though he simply rolled his eyes. Garett made his way to the stage, guitar in hand. He started to play a melody on the very large guitar, each not striking as powerful as a punch and shredding bits of paper off of the enemy as he neared it. Finally, when it was down to nearly nothing, he swung the guitar like a bit. causing the rest of it to fly off in a bunch of small pieces.

"Yay!" Dana clapped and blushed at the man who was one of her idols. "Ten!"

"Another ten!?" Buck was concerned, as Caleb was on the money for his own team, but not for theirs.

"I may have been wrong about one thing, but I'm sure you see I'm right about us," Caleb spoke, not receiving a word from his team.

Yves finally made her way to the stage, a little nervous since they were down seven points right now. She gulped as she faced her enemy, but gain a good idea of how to go about it. She immediately started flying towards it, eventually picking it up and taking it into the sky. After flying very high up, she dropped it, causing it to fall slowly while she flew in from multiple directions, punching and kicking it to bits before it landed on the stage as a pile of shreds. Her performance was astounding. but...

"Ten!" Dana cheered as she wrote the number down, shocking Caleb to some extent as the other members of her team cheered for her.

She returned to them victorious, receiving a high five from Celeste's mech.

Confessional

"Take that, chess boy!" Yves shouted in a sense of overwhelming victory.

Confessional End

Finally, Daniel was on the stage against his enemy, immediately receiving an intense glare from Margaret. He cleared his mind for a second before pressing a button on his console, turning on a pop song as his mech started to bust some sick moves. The dancing turned to dance fighting as he struck his enemy with unexpected kicks and punches, ending with a wild spin on the stage and uppercutting it to pieces.

"Hm..."

Dana took her time while the teams waited for the final score from her in anticipation. To Margaret's displeasure, it was written as yet another ten. The Droids cheered, having won their second challenge while the Bots felt defeated. Caleb thought nothing of it, but his team was sure mad at him..

Confessional

"So what if Yves scored a ten?" Caleb scoffed, "We still lost, as I said. These people are bad listeners."

Confessional End

The six members of the Bots found themselves in the landing room later that night, having lost their second challenge. Most eyes were glaring at Caleb, who rolled his eyes in return. Dana and Chris only had five pilot badges with them, striking some fear into the team.

"This was a disappointing challenge for you guys," Dana started, "It seemed like somebody told you there's no way you can win or something. Regardless, you lost. Now, as you know, I will be handing out these pilot badges to those of you who remain safe...for now. As for the unlucky one of you, you will be eliminated tonight! You'll have to walk your way to the jet of shame and board it to never return to Cali-Tokyo ever again. Now then...Yves you're safe."

Yves nodded catching her badge happily as Buck patter her on the back.

"Mitchell...Celeste..."

"I survive another day!" Mitchell cheered as he caught his.

"Yay, Mitchell!" Celeste cheered, gaining some attention from her team as she blushed. "I mean...cool."

"Buck..."

"Woohoo!" Buck caught his happily as only two remained.

Larida wasn't worried, just angry at her other teammate for suggesting they eliminate her. Caleb could care less who was angry, he knew he was right.

"I'm just gonna say this isn't really shocking in the slightest. People don't just try to convince their team that there's no way to win a challenge. It's messed up. The last badge goes to...Larida."

"What!?" Caleb stood up in anger. "That's impossible! You can't eliminate me, I'm the brains of this dumb team!"

"Someone needs a time out," mumbled Larida.

"Whatever, f you guys!"

They gasped at the mouth on the lad. He quickly turned to face Dana.

"Dana, you are...the most beautiful person ever, and you have the coolest personality of anyone I've ever met...please go out with me."

"Uh...I'm twelve, dude," Dana looked away awkwardly as the boy who was indeed a good amount of years older than him realized that disparity before running off to the jet, embarrassed, and boarding it, being taken away to never be seen again.
