IZHIZU'S POV

P.s I forgot to metion this but Izhizu did put the necklace back on.

The sky was now a haze of red, not one bit of blue peeked out of the angry clouds.

Izhizu quickened her pace, letting go of Malik's hand. "We need to hurry, brother." Malik grimaced. "Was your vision that bad?"

Izhizu said nothing, but her body tensed.

Malik shook his head as he ran alongside her. 'What did she do to deserve this fate of foresight? All it's brought her is suffering and confusion.'

The hospital appeared through the fog, and Izhizu dashed through the shattered doors, Malik hot on her heels.

Security tried to stop them, but Malik stepped in front, allowing his sister to get in the elevator. "Im afraid she's busy. Why don't we have a chat?" He glanced back as the elevator doors closed.

'Good luck Izhizu, whatever that vision showed you, it was meant for you and you alone.'

The doors slid open, and Izhizu rushed down the hall, spotting a door that was burning red. She muttered an unsealing word, and the door swung open. She stopped in her tracks.

Sugouroku was lying face down on the floor, unmoving. She knelt beside him, checking his pulse as she glanced towards the patient bed in fear.

Yugi was glowing red, and blood flowed from the bandage on his neck.

After confirming Sugouroku was okay, she set him against the wall gently, and turned towards Yugi. His puzzle was glowing as well. She tried to touch Yugi, but a barrier sprung forth and flung her back, slamming her into a wall.

Coughing, she stood up shakily, waiting for her vision to clear. The barrier was still surrounding Yugi, and it crackled dangerously.

She cautiously approached the bed, and felt her neck grow warm. She looked down, and saw her tauk glowing. Suddenly her feet slipped out from under her and she lurched foward, trying to avoid the barrier.

Instead of being flung back again, she slipped through and darkness surrounded her. It was only but a moment before she was thrown unceremoniously, onto freezing sand. She scrambled up, wincing as she rubbed her back.

A cold wind blew past her, making her shiver. (As I'm sure you all know, deserts are freezing at night.)

'Hang on Yugi. I'm coming.'

End Of Chapter Fourty.

May seem short but only because the next chapter will reintroduce a character not seen in awhile.
