In a strange looking, dark room, Maggie sat at a desk, printing out more graphs for her clipboard. She snickered as each one printed, glancing at the titles of them with joy that was unimaginable. Suddenly, the lights flicked on as Dana entered the room, causing Maggie's glasses to adjust to the sudden change and hurt her eyes. She let out a small yelp as Dana approached her, shaking her head in a disappointed manner.

"Last time on Total Drama Mega Mechas:" Dana started, which was unusual considering that Chris was usually in charge of this thing, "Only six of the original thirteen remained in the show, and tensions were crazy high. Literally crazy Celeste finally got to announce that she started dating Mitchell and girl crazy Daniel finally realized that his girlfriend actually is a mobster. The two were on the ropes all episode, talk about some awkward encounters. The challenge was announced by a certain jerk who doesn't let me speak when I want to, and it was a doozy. An Olympic event competition! With events like massive hurdles and a skyscraper discus throw, nobody had any sort of advantage in this at all! Blaster tried to convince Margaret to talk to her about her problems, which worked, maybe just because she was so upset about Daniel. Strangely, a mysterious invader took over Daniel's mech and attacked three of the other competitors, greatly injuring Mitchell when he attempted to save Celeste from them. Mitchell had to be removed from the competition due to his injuries, what a sad turn of events. Margaret was never able to see who took over Daniel's mech, but when she saved him, they made up and he decided he could live with her being a mobster."

"It's so romantic!" Maggie giggled, "Don't you think?"

"Indeed, it is. Now, who will be the next of the final five to drop out of the competition? Find out on this episode of Total Drama: Mega Mechas!"

The camera flew through the sky, going all the way down to the ground and into the dome, right in the center of a field inside.

"Dear mom and dad I'm doing fine," was heard as Buck was seen strumming a tune on his banjo happily while Daniel danced to the country tune wildly.

"You guys are on my mind," the camera swung past the two to show Caleb rolling his eyes while sitting at a table in the cafeteria. Larida was smiling cheerfully and patting the young looking gent on the head.

"You asked me what I wanted to be and I think the answer's plain to see," at a nearby table, Mitch was reading a book that he wrote to the ever-shy Celeste, who was happily listening to him.

"I wanna be famous!" Margaret ran past the two, startling them as a pair of security robots were chasing her.

"I wanna live close to the sun," suddenly, Margaret ran into Valerie and fell over, rubbing her head as the shy girl erupted in anger and the two started screaming at each other, scaring away the robots.

"So pack your bags, cause I've already won," the camera swung over to the outside of the dome, where Calvin was at the entrance, searching for clues of some sort, before waving to the camera with a bright smile and going stone-faced, realizing that he should be focusing on his task at hand.

"Everything to prove, nothing in my way, I'll get there one day," Yves was close by to the secret agent, watching him closely while keeping to herself and blasting an unsuspecting Garett with a water gun, as he was attempting to blast Calvin.

"I wanna be famous!" Blaster ran past the two, pretending to be a cyborg and blast some robots with her arm, only to knock over Brittany, who looked at the airhead angrily.

"Na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na," the camera swung up to the sky, showing each and everyone's mechs being shot out of the top of the dome, with each person in them.

"I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous! I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous!" the light had faded from the sky and the camera showed the fourteen contestants in a jet takeoff room, seated in a circle while Chris and Dana stood in the center, each with mischievous looks on their faces.

With only five contestants left, they each found themselves doing something different, living on edge due to the strange occurrences that were caused by some unknown criminal. Buck sat in his room, now alone since Mitchell had been eliminated, playing his banjo softly while humming a tune. After a little bit, he stopped, sighing at the lack of an audience.

"This place used to be so much more lively," he mumbled to himself, remembering times that Mitchell would be writing his story, or Caleb would play chess against an AI and win every match. "Can't we just go back to the beginning of this? I'm tired of being stuck here all by my lonesome. Only got one of my friends left, too."

"Am I hearing the self chatting that comes from boredom?" Maggie asked, having appeared from quite literally nowhere.

"Ah, what in tarnation!?"

Buck leapt off of his bed, noticing her sitting right next to him. She giggled as he backed away from the bed, pointing his banjo at her as if it was a weapon.

"Calm down, calm down. I'm not here to harass you."

"Why are you here, then?"

"I'm simply here to grab you for your challenge today!"

"My challenge? Don't we all have the same challenge?"

"Not today! I've specially designed challenges for each and every one of you, based on my own theories and hypotheses. It should be quite an entertaining day!"

"Oh boy, I really don't like the sound of that."

"Come on, it'll be fun! You're to report to the field for your challenge. Good luck, Bucky Buck."

Buck gulped as Maggie hopped up from the bed, prancing out of the room and leaving him alone again. He strummed a sad tune on his banjo as she left, letting out another sigh after he did.

Confessional

"Maggie is the craziest gal I've ever seen, she is," Buck noted as he continued to play his banjo. "Not sure what she has planned for me, but if it's anything like what she was doing to Mitch the other day, ya know, the prodding at his broken arm and such, then I don't know if I'll be able to make it past today!"

Confessional End

Just down the hall, Celeste was a mess in her own room, with pictures of everyone related to the entire show plastered on a billboard, trying to connect them to the crime of injuring Mitchell, which she was having a very difficult time doing. She looked as if she had drank eight cups of coffee to keep herself moving, her eyes bugging out as she glanced from picture to picture.

"Where is it, where is it!?" she shouted at the board, slamming her fists on the desk in front of her. "I know I can piece this together...if only I had a detective to do this detecting. Gasp, maybe it's Calvin! Wait, no. Maggie said it wasn't Calvin. What if it was Maggie? Oh, it has to be Maggie!"

"Wrong!" Maggie chimed in, hanging from the ceiling fan in the room and spinning around while she laughed at the contestant.

"How'd you get in here, crazy!?"

"Do you see the irony in you calling me crazy?"

Maggie hopped down from the fan, sticking a landing like a superhero and causing Celeste to applaud her on impulse, but stop almost immediately after.

"Hey, that's rude!"

"I'm just being real with you, isn't that what you should expect from a friend?"

"Get on with it, lady, what do you want?"

"Oh, as I just told Buck, I should let you know that it's time for a challenge!"

"Oh...right. I forgot that Dana let's you do that sometimes."

"Yes! This is a very special challenge, too! Each little bit is made special with a different contestant in mind, which means the challenge you'll partake in is much different than what we'll be having the others do!"

"I guess that's a little exciting. Something specifically designed for us, huh?"

"Yes indeedy! Your destination is the quiet room, it's behind a bookshelf in the library. We've moved the bookshelf so you can exit the room if you decide to give up on the challenge."

"I won't give up!"

"Of course you won't, why would I have expected you to?"

"But I am a little confused..."

"About?"

Maggie smiled eagerly at Celeste, awaiting the reason of said confusion.

"What is the quiet room?"

Suddenly, the eager smile was wiped from Maggie's face and immediately replaced with a look of pure rage, her face burning red and the eyes on her technologic glasses glaring intensely at Celeste.

"The room that stupid Chris makes me sleep in! That guy believes that I'm too crazy to be here, and that I should be locked up twenty-four seven! I'll get him for that, I will! Though..."

As Celeste quivered in fear from the mass amount of shouting that Maggie was dishing out, the lab coat wearing girl let out a sigh, regaining a sweet smile and blushing as she continued.

"I am glad Dana is here, she's like an older sister to me!"

"Dana's younger than you, though."

"I know that! I'm not stupid! But considering that my actual older sister is a total b-word..."

"Dana's also super childish, wouldn't you agree?"

"Uh, no? When I'm cooped up in that room in my stupid straitjacket, she comes in to hang out with me. She's my best friend."

"Don't you usually say 'bestie?'"

"Heh, bestie and best friend are two very different things. You are one of my besties, Dana is my best friend."

"What's the difference?"

"Oh, you'll find out soon...very soon..."

"Wait, before you leave!"

"Hm?"

"My Mitchy...he's okay, right?"

"Of course he's 'okay.' The mech's have a defense system built in that ejects the pilot with a parachute if they get too damaged. Mitchell was ejected in time, he merely broke his arm and got himself bruised a lot."

"His poor arm!"

"Boohoo, he'll live."

Celeste glared at Maggie as she skipped out of the room, slamming the door behind her.

Confessional

"What was that about?" Celeste pondered, "Besties...best friend...there can't be that much of a difference, right?"

Confessional End

Blaster was the only contestant in the cafeteria, the others all in different rooms, which made her feel lonely. She sighed as she ate spoonfuls of slop from Robo-Chef, imagining that even real Chef could make better food than this.

"You probably don't even use a recipe, Mr. Roboto," she joked at the bot, though no response came back to her.

"No, he doesn't!" Maggie answered some time after, tossing the head of Robo-Chef in her hands and startling Blaster.

"How did you-"

"Do you really wanna ask how I got in here so stealthfully? You'd be the third person already, and that question is boring."

"Okay, geez, soooooooorry."

"Why, thank you! It's not often that people actually apologize for being rude."

"I was being sarcastic."

"Oh, hush your muff!"

"Why should I? You're annoying."

"Oho! You'll regret saying that!"

"Whatever, you are and you know it."

"Ahem, before I lose my cool on you, I should let you know that I'm simply here to discuss the upcoming challenge."

"Oh...great..."

"Each of these challenges-"

"Challenges plural?"

"Yes! Let me speak, dammit! Each challenge is tailored towards a specific competitor and designed by me. And before you ask, yes, Dana approved each of them."

"Did Chris?"

"Pfft, no chance that'd happen."

"Well, what's mine?"

"Oh, you'll see. You can just sit tight in this room and wait for me to return with the other two hosts. Then, we'll tell you."

"Okay, I guess."

Maggie giggled as she left the room, leaving Blaster worried as to what might be in store for her.

Confessional

"She is so my least favorite person here," Blaster grumbled, "She's not even fun to talk to, like, ever!"

Confessional End

The last of the final group was Daniel and Margaret, both enjoying their time together outside the dome, basking in the sunlight. Margaret reclined in a beach chair while Daniel sat on the ground next to her, no other chairs available for him to sit on.

"You know," she started, "You could come up here and sit with me."

"Yeah, but I don't wanna invade your personal space," Daniel replied, "That chair's not even that big."

"Oh, pa-lease!" Maggie shouted with a giggle, popping up in between them from, again, seemingly nowhere. "You two could easily fit on that chair together!"

"Oh, God!" Daniel shouted, leaping back in fear.

"Great, you again," Margaret rolled her eyes.

"Aw, not happy to see me?" Maggie pouted, "Doesn't matter, you don't have to be."

"What are you even here for, lady!?" Daniel asked, still recovering from his psuedo-heart attack.

"Challenge business, I'm sure you both understand."

"Yippee," Margaret cheered sarcastically, "What's the torture this time?"

"Torture is a good guess!"

"Huh?" Margaret and Daniel were both taken aback by the words she spoke.

"Dana let me design this challenge, and it involves special tests for each one of you!"

"So, we won't be doing the same thing as anyone else?" Daniel scratched his head in confusion, "That's new."

"I'm glad you appreciate my unique style!"

"We don't appreciate anything about you," Margaret muttered.

"Yeah, yeah. Get mad at me for doing my job, whatever. Anywho. Daniel, go to the elimination area for your challenge, I'm sure you'll love it. Margaret, you get to go to the confessional booth for yours."

"Okay, interesting placements," Daniel said, wondering what the challenge would be.

Maggie giggle and patted both of them on the back before hopping off and returning to her devices inside the dome. Margaret sighed, rising from her seat and hugging Daniel.

"Guess we'll see each other after the challenge, then," she said with an upset tone.

"Yeah, it kinda blows, but we'll make it through! I'm sure we will!"

Confessional

"This is gonna be quite the day," Daniel mentioned, "I can already tell that this challenge is gonna suck."

"Guess I'm stuck in here for this challenge," Margaret said with a sigh, "Could be worse, I guess."

Confessional End

Buck had made his way to the field, but it had no one in it aside from him. He walked through the grass, expecting Dana or Chris to be hiding somewhere in wait, though he was unable to find them. He sighed as he sat down in the grass, near the foot of his mech. As he waited, a cage suddenly dropped around him, keeping him in place. He immediately started to panic, trying to shake the cage to get out of it.

"Hey, y'all!" he shouted to the empty field. "This ain't funny, get this cage out of here!"

He continued to tug on the bars, but it was no use, they were stuck good.

"Somebody get this thing off of me!"

As he cried out for help, a floating tv suddenly appeared before him, flicking on to show Maggie giggling with Dana and Chris on her sides.

"Of course, why did I think for a second that ya wouldn't be behind this?"

"I truly am a master at my craft, as you've fallen right into my trap!"

"How could you two approve of this?"

"I didn't," Chris noted, "This one was all little miss Dana's idea. She's soooooo full of great ideas."

"Would you stop?" Dana glared at him, "We're not doing this in front of the contestants."

"I'm not the one who hired a clinically insane scientist as a co-host, am I?"

"I said we're not doing this right now."

"Sounds like ya two need some time to cool off," Buck interrupted, "Why don't ya let me go free and hash this out?"

"Not a chance, country boy!" Maggie cackled. "It's challenge time!"

"Right...well, what do I have to do to get out of this cage?"

"To get out of the cage and avoid elimination...you must withstand this experiment!"

"Experiment?"

"Experiment! You see, I've noted that you're an 'I can fix it' type guy, are you not?"

"I s'pose so."

"Good, good! But what happens when we don't give you a chance to fix things?"

"What are ya getting at?"

"In this experiment, we'll be looking into what happens when we destroy your friends' personal belongings before your eyes over a long period of time!"

"Ya can't do that! That's gotta be against the contract!"

"Actually," Dana interrupted, "It's not. You guys pretty much signed away your souls in those contracts."

"Gah, stupid contract!"

"Kuku," Maggie chuckled, "Well, how about we start with one I know will make you upset...Yves!"

"Ya wouldn't dare..."

"But I totally would!"

Maggie cackled as the tv extended a set of arms, one equipped with a flamethrower and the other with a sledge hammer. As if cued in by a switch, a pile of Yves' things spilled onto the ground in front of the cage.

"Cut that out!"

"Nope, nope! Not gonna cut it out, that's the point of the challenge!"

The first of her belongings in sight of Maggie's evil eyes was a painting of a forest, though it was unclear if Yves herself had painted it or if she bought it from somewhere. Either way, the quality was higher than average, and Buck couldn't imagine how angry she'd be if this was destroyed. He started tugging at the bars even harder as the tv aimed the flamethrower at the painting.

"Stop!"

"What's that?" Maggie asked, suddenly causing the flames to spew out at the painting, turning it to ash quickly. "Oh, whoops!"

Buck gasped, pulling on the bars as hard as he could, causing them to part as if he had super human strength. The adrenaline got him going, and he couldn't help but breath loudly due to the amount of energy he had just used. He soon fell forward onto the ground, completely drained of any bit of energy.

"Kuku," Maggie laughed maniacally once more, "How curious! So destroying the belongings of your friends in front of you gets you in an adrenaline rush! How very interesting! Dana, I must once again thank you for this. These experiments will surely provide amazing research."

"As long as you don't physically attack anyone, it's fine," Dana replied.

"You two are ridiculous," Chris added. "If I wasn't here, this show would plummet because of how crazy you guys are. I mean seriously, what would your dad think, Dana?"

"I don't know, considering he's not around anymore."

"What do you mean he's not around anymore? He built this island!"

"Correction: I had it built by his company. Of course, that's only an order that the CEO could give. When he passed, I took the helm of the company. Ahem, now that you've ticked me off, I'm going to go cool down in the other room. Keep an eye on Maggie."

Dana quickly walked off screen from the tv, slamming a door behind her. Maggie glared at Chris who simply rolled his eyes in return.

"Talk about being a capital j Jerk," Maggie mumbled.

"I'm not gonna let myself be criticized by you," Chris returned with a hint of aggression.

"Man, that was kinda rough, Chris," Buck added, barely able to move.

"You're siding with them!? After what you just went through!?"

"Just saying my thoughts."

"Why thank you, bestie!" Maggie applauded Buck's comments. "Okay, okay, we need to get to the next one now!"

Maggie cackled as the tv floated away from the field, leaving just Buck laying next to the pile of things that they had dropped near him. Meanwhile, Celeste had finally got to the quiet room, which looked like solitary confinement to her. She sat on the shabby bed in the room, waiting for further instructions from the hosts.

"Sigh," Celeste rolled her eyes as she waited, "This is taking forever."

"Sorry to keep you waiting!" Maggie announced her presence through the tv again, this time descending from the ceiling as a straitjacket wrapped Celeste up tightly, not letting her move her arms.

"What's going on!?"

"Oh, it's simply time for your challenge, dear Celeste!"

The words made Celeste glare at her, as well as Chris, who was still standing next to her, though he was clearly uninterested in the challenge.

"What challenge involves me being in a straitjacket?"

"It's more of an experiment than a challenge, being entirely honest with you."

"Oh no, I don't want to be a part of your experiments!"

"You have to! Dana said I can eliminate anyone who refuses to participate!"

"That's true," Chris said with a sigh, "She did say that."

"Fine, fine," Celeste groaned, "What is it?"

"You're guilty of being boy crazy for a certain horror writer that just so happens to no longer be on the island!"

"I am not boy crazy, I simply love him."

"Kuku, sure sure. That's beside the point though! Since you're so obsessed with Mitchell, I thought it would be interesting to see how you react to hearing him call you a creep, as he did on camera before. All you have to do is withstand hearing this until the video finishes, and we'll let you avoid elimination tonight!"

"I guess it could be worse..."

"I'm glad you agree! Here goes nothing!"

Suddenly, with the press of a button on Maggie's end, dozens of other television screens popped out of the walls, each one showing a video of Mitchell on them. She was quite literally surrounded by screens, not an inch of padding remaining visible to her. She started to panic, due to this combined with her lack of sleep. Then, the video started to play on loop.

"She's a creep," Mitchell said to the camera, "She's a creep, she's a creep, she's a creep."

"No!" Celeste cried out as she tried to free herself from the straitjacket. "Make it stop!"

"Hmmmmmmmm," Maggie thought about it. "Are you throwing in the towel?"

"Never!"

"Then I'm not stopping!"

The videos then got much louder, drowning out Celeste's screams and pleads for it to stop.

"She's a creep, she's a creep, she's a creep," was all that could be heard throughout the room.

"Well," Maggie turned to Chris, "This experiment is a success, I suppose?"

"You're messed up, dude," Chris replied.

"Aw, that's so sweet, Chris."

"No it's not- are you seriously that screwed in the head?"

"Who knows? Onto the next experiment, Blaster!"

The floating television ascended through the ceiling again, leaving Celeste alone with her videos. It headed for the cafeteria with haste, Maggie laughing to herself as she thought about what she was doing. Chris merely sighed at it, thinking about how much of an idiot you would have to be to hire somebody like her. They eventually got to the cafeteria, noticing Blaster sitting on one of the tables, bored out of her mind.

"Ugh, finally," Blaster said, rolling her eyes. "That seriously took forever!"

"Patience is key to living a happy life," Maggie noted, receiving a disappointed head shake from Chris.

"Yeah, whatever. What do I have to do?"

"Getting right into it, huh? Well, I'll be glad to indulge you, bestie!"

Blaster watched the television carefully as it sprouted arms again, this time without the weapons it had in the field. It floated around her, almost as if deciding what it should do in that moment.

"Well, Blaster, you see...we've designed the perfect challenge for someone like you!"

"Someone like me?"

"Yes! Someone who takes dirty offers from the host to help them stay in the game longer!"

"How did you know!?"

"Uh, Dana's my best friend? She tells me everything."

"Gr...what's the stupid challenge. Tell me already."

"Simple, I'll be shifting the settings on those cyborg parts of yours into overdrive."

"What does that mean?"

"Oh, you'll see."

Maggie chuckled as the television floated over to the girl's prosthetic arm, playing around with some wires inside it. Blaster gulped in worry while she was tinkered with, not sure what she was in for. Chris groaned at the sight, growing more uneasy by the moment.

"What's the point of this one?" he annoyedly asked Maggie.

Without a second to answer the question, the television hurried away from the girl, taking cover in the hallway while peeking in the room to show a feed of Blaster. Some time passed with nothing happening, and the contestant chuckled a little.

"Looks like it didn't work!" Blaster mocked Maggie, who rolled her eyes in response.

The scientist quickly pressed a button, causing Blaster to suddenly turn out of nowhere, punching the wall of the cafeteria to rubble and involuntary dragging herself out into the city through the hole in the wall.

"Our experiment today: How Much Destruction Will Blaster Need to Cause to Regret Taking the Deal? I hypothesize that you'll loathe yourself after destroying about half of the dome, but I suppose you could always surprise me!"

"But I don't want to, woah!" Blaster had no time to speak as her leg bounced her really far away from where the cafeteria was.

"Only two more experiments to start!" Maggie happily noted to Chris. "Isn't this so exciting?"

"You're insane."

"And you're not?"

"Touché."

"Well, now, onto Daniel!"

Daniel waited in the landing room, trying to imagine what could be in store for him with "Miss Crazy" running wild for today. He sighed as he reclined on the elimination benches that everyone was all too familiar with. Just sitting there, he remembered all of the contestants that the show had started with, almost feeling that he didn't deserve to be in the final five. At that point, Maggie's personal television floated into the room, which was announced by her obnoxious giggling.

"Finally," Daniel spoke with a sigh, "I was starting to get bored."

"Oh, well I can promise you that you won't be bored in a matter of minutes!" Maggie exclaimed, extremely giddy.

"Yeah, you said something about a special challenge for me?"

"Indeed! You're a generally happy person, you love to dance and lighten the mood, yet you also love to throw parties when somebody that you don't like may have been gravely injured or killed!"

"What are you-...oh, Garett."

"Garett! Yes! Bingo! Haha, saves me the time of having to mysteriously talk about who it was, kuku!"

"What about it, though? What does that have to do with my challenge?"

"It's quite simple, you're going to dance to his music!"

"That can't be that bad."

"Oh, can't it?"

She pressed a button in her room, causing a cage to appear around Daniel, similar to the one that appeared around Buck. This one had arrows on the ground, like one of those dancing games you would see at the arcade. Similarly, an arcade game rose from the ground in front of the cage, Daniel watching with an uneasiness. As it turned on, a pixelated Garett flashed on the screen.

"Are ya ready!?" the pixelated man asked.

"I don't even know, dude!" Daniel replied, more worrisome than before.

"This is quite easy, I must say," Maggie mumbled, sounding annoyed. "The experiment: How Many Beats of Your Worst Enemies Song Can You Miss Before Fainting?"

"What do you mean with that about the fainting?"

"Simply put, if you miss a step, you'll be zapped! How many zaps can you take before you-"

As Maggie spoke, Blaster suddenly crashed a hole through the wall, still not in control of herself. The rubble from the wall flew Daniel's way, breaking the arcade machine as it was hit, and causing the floor to zap him intensely for a second, making him immediately crash.

"Oh, how curious! A variable!"

"When does this end?" Blaster asked, clearly looking upset by what was happening to her.

"Do you regret what you did, yet?"

"Yes, yes! Just make it stop!"

"Eh, I don't believe you. Keep rampaging for now!"

Blaster had no time to speak as she was launched out of the room by herself again, leaving Maggie and Chris with the knocked out Daniel, the crazier of the two laughing about the whole ordeal.

"I'm pretty sure you could go to jail for all this crazy stuff you're doing," Chris noted.

"Peh," Maggie shrugged it off. "They did sign off on this in the contract."

"Did they really? They definitely did not."

"Read it again!"

Chris grabbed a copy of the contract from a desk in the room, reading it thoroughly before slamming it back on the desk angrily as Maggie chuckled to herself.

"Cannot believe that girl actually put this in the contract. She's clearly not cut out for this business, hiring people like you to help her."

"Oh, shuddup. Dana's much better of a host than you."

"Yeah? Doubt it, considering my much greater experience."

"Yeah, yeah, experience schmexperience. Let's go visit Margaret, shall we?"

Chris sighed as the television made its way to the confessional, which was already destroyed by Blaster, who was sobbing near the rubble while Margaret was knocked out on the ground.

"Oho!" Maggie applauded Blaster, "How wonderful! You destroyed it and hurt her at the same time, that's impressive!"

"I don't want to do this anymore!" Blaster shouted to the insane girl.

"Kuku, alright, alright."

The television floated over to Blaster again, tinkering with her arm once more, just like before. After a little bit, it sparked up, causing Blaster to look down at it in worry.

"What was that!?"

"Oh, don't worry. I simply took away everything that was helping you. No more super strength, no more heating and cooling, and no more laser beams."

"They came with laser beams!?"

"Oh, guess you hadn't found that out yet! Oops!"

As Maggie cackled some more, Dana returned to the room her and Chris were in, looking just as annoyed as she was earlier.

"Alright, Maggie," Dana interrupted, "We're done with this challenge, get everyone in the landing room for elimination."

"Okay, okay!"

Maggie laughed as she left the room this time, suddenly appearing in the hallway with Blaster and Margaret in it. She picked Margaret up off the ground, shocking everyone. Her scrawny exterior did not allude to much strength, yet she carried the girl with ease.

"Come, Blaster! Elimination time!"

"O-okay," Blaster rose from her spot on the ground, dusting herself off before following Maggie to the landing room.

Confessional

"This was a successful day!" Maggie said with a cackle, standing atop the rubble that used to be the confessional. "I've learned so much from my experiments, more than I could've hoped for at least. General consensus? Everybody felt some different kind of pain. That makes me so tingly, knowing I did a good job! Kuku!"

Confessional End

The five remaining pilots sat atop the benches, not a single one questioning the missing wall in the room. Daniel and Margaret were still knocked out, both laying in a pile on the benches, Daniel with his hair zapped up. Buck was still exhausted, barely able to hold himself up in his seat as he drooped over in it multiple times. Celeste looked the worst of the group, her eyes looking like tv static as she remained in her straitjacket, not able to stop herself from drooling in her vegetative state. Blaster was the only one in the group that appeared normal, just very sad about what happened. Chris stood off to the side, glaring at Maggie the entire time, the scientist herself smiling happily at the group of people that she had just tormented. Dana, on the other hand, still seemed sad about the whole day. She held a platter with four badges on it; the number growing so small left everyone with a bad taste in their mouth.

"So," Dana started, trying to hide how upset she was. "Today's challenge only ended giving immunity to one person, Celeste. Though it's not like she could actually get out of her predicament. All of you aside from her are up for elimination, so I'm sorry for that."

"Dana, can you cut the miserable act?" Chris rolled his eyes at her. "We all know you don't care, afterall, you let Maggie run this challenge."

With that comment, Maggie glared back at Chris, her emoji eyes appearing as angry as they were before.

"As far as who's safe from elimination today...well...there's...we have..."

"Get on with it! Chef could do a better job than you, dude."

"...Ahem. Safe from elimination we have: Celeste, Daniel, Buck, Margaret, and Blaster."

"Huh? That's everyone!"

"No, it's not. Also safe from elimination: Maggie and I."

"Oh, hardehar. You think you can just say I'm eliminated and get rid of me? You can't run a show without me, I'm the face of Total Drama."

"Maggie, tase him."

"Wait, tase?"

"Gladly!" Maggie chirped, suddenly appearing next to Chris and zapping him with a high powered taser, startling Buck and Blaster, the only two members of the cast that were able to comprehend what was happening.

Chris fell to the ground, his hair ruined by the electricity. Much like Daniel, he was completely out of it now, unable to utter a single word to the rest of the group. Maggie quickly lifted him off of the ground, bringing him over to the jet and tossing him inside, causing it to quickly fly away from Cali-Tokyo with him in tow.

"Well, that was...unexpected," Blaster commented.

"She's...a...creep," Celeste muttered, unable to say anything else.

"She gonna be alright?" Buck asked, still flopping about.

"You'll all be fine," Dana said, annoyed, "Maggie said she'll make you guys a special reward for enduring this challenge. I'll supervise her so she doesn't do anything horrible to...whatever it is."

"Oh!" Maggie clapped feverishly, "That'll be fun!"

"So, what now?" Blaster questioned the now solo host, "We're just all safe?"

"For now, yes. But I can't promise anything for the next challenge. So, until then, you'll all get to stay here."

Dana and Maggie left the group in the room, the latter skipping while the host just walked down the halls, rubbing her tired eyes.

"What's next, Dana?" Maggie asked, a bright smile on her face.

"I destroy that stupid room. If you didn't hear, there's an open spot in the host rooming area now."

"Really!? Oh, I'm so excited! Do I still have to wear the straitjacket?"

"No. Of course not."

"Dana, you're the best sister ever! Milly could never be as good as you!"

"Yes, well- did you say sister?"

"Yup!"

"But we're not-"

"You need a family, right? That's why you did this show, right?"

"What are you talking about?"

"Oh, come on, Dana. Your dad passed, forgive me for bringing it up, and you've been miserable since. You figured telling Chris that your dad was the one who would fund the whole season rather than yourself would be a good thing for business and you'd be able to fulfill a dream of yours. Just one problem with that, though. You loved your dad, and now that you don't have him, you feel empty on the inside."

Maggie lifted the glasses off of her face, showing Dana her real eyes, which were incredibly tired looking, with massive bags underneath them. They were bright green in color, which looked out of place considering how tired she looked.

"And I know that I'm clinically insane, I was expelled from high school for experimenting on students and staff, and I love seeing others in pain, but I would never do anything bad to you. I'll stick by you no matter what."

Dana found it hard to speak, as she usually tried to hide her emotions in front of others. She grew up believing that such things were meant to be kept to yourself, especially sadness. Her dad had always told her to let it out to people that care about you, but she thought it made her look weak.

"You mean that?" Dana said, her voice cracking as she sniffled, some tears appearing in her eyes.

"Aw, of course," Maggie replied happily, "Come here."

Maggie knelt down, opening her arms for Dana to hug her, which she did. She sighed as the young girl cried into her shoulder, but held her tight.

"That's right, let it out."

As the two were stuck in their embrace, Dana couldn't control her tears, but Maggie didn't care. She stayed there, not moving an inch.

Author Notes:

*Yup, an episode with no elimination! Well, I guess Chris, but does he really count? I say no. The final five will move forward to the next challenge without losing anyone this episode, but there are only three more episodes of this season! You can expect one double elimination before the finale, but whether it's the next episode or the one after, I won't say. Thank you to everyone for sticking around through this so far, I'm glad you're enjoying it. And I will address the unsolved mysteries of the show eventually, just you wait!
