TDNKCI: Episode 6: "She's Playing With Fire"

Chris's Recap

"Last time, on Total Drama Nui Kaua: The Cursed Island…

Fresh off of their first Po'ino Bonfire Elimination Ceremony, the Demons immediately ignored Helen's departing criticisms and fell back into their old habits, save for Kaden, who understood what truly happened, and Barnard, in an honest effort to improve his standing in the game as a whole. The Vampires went on the move last week, with Twilight and Aleister visiting the Mummies' campsite, where they found a lack Mummies, with only Lucien there to greet them! Meanwhile, Antonio and Samuel scoped out the Banshees' cabin so that Samuel could analyze Freya, and figure out why Twilight was so keen on staying away from her. In doing so however, the crazy-prepared weirdo let slip to Freya his feelings for Twilight. Never a good thing to do bro, and Freya took advantage of that in the mud-sledding challenge, letting Twilight know that Samuel had gone against her wishes. Of course, the Banshees themselves seemed to be hovering on the brink of destruction, with Aubrey ultimately turning to her wicked sister, Molly, for help in getting rid of Freya. Too bad Sherwood knows what's up now though! While all these politics were going on, Daniel of the Mummies discovered the hidden cache of immunity tikis and was tasked with handing the tikis that he couldn't use to eligible players. Wonder who those lucky ducks are! The week's curse forced the team that came in last in the mud-sledding challenge to dissolve themselves amongst the other three teams, with the last player left over riding in the Coffin of Shame. Thanks to Freya's need for attention, the unlucky loser was the Demon's own Kaleaf, but he didn't leave quietly, as he marooned Freya, Aleister, and Daniel on Weliweli Island, and gave the Banshee queen a warning. That she would be the next one to ride the coffin. How true is that prediction? What fresh hell awaits our campers? We're at the final 18, but not for very long. Who will gutterball their way to elimination this time? Find out, right now, on Total Drama Nui Kaua… The Cursed… Island!"

*Total Drama Theme Song Plays*

Location: Visceral Vampires Deluxe Camp

Contestant(s): Antonio, Barnard, Molly, Twilight

"And this here is your side of the cabin, where you'll be staying with Samuel and Aleister, and Splotch here. Molly can usually be found on the other side, and I prefer to wander around the island, but I'll be in the lounge if I'm not." Twilight concluded Banard's tour of his new cabin, a tremendous upgrade from his old campsite with the Demons.

"This place is enormous…" Barnard was wide-eyed as he walked up towards a strange design on the bedroom wall. "What even is-..."

"I wouldn't touch that…" Antonio warned. "It hasn't dried yet. You can still smell it just by wafting."

"Is it blood?"

"It's….paint…" Antonio decided he'd have a little fun with the new team member. "And bones are little more than brushes."

Confessional: Antonio: The Visceral Vampires

"It's just some acrylic paint. I was bored yesterday and decided to add my own splash of color to the wall there. It hasn't dried completely yet. Of course, I might as well keep Barnard on his toes around us. It'll do him good and help him avoid getting eliminated right away if we lose

Confessional: Barnard: The Visceral Vampires

"So, I know this team had Natalie, and they had the sense to vote her off first, which helps realize that they're all at least intelligent enough to recognize when risks outweigh rewards. And Twilight and Antonio are getting along well, and from what I've seen, Samuel is also a part of that trio. This is a second chance I can't take lightly. I want to appear as useful as possible to these people. Hopefully, I can start the strategy I wanted to employ at the beginning of the game this time. Creating a mega-alliance of people I get along with. Helen, if you want me to choose between logic and my friends, I'll work tirelessly until I find a strategy that suits both! That is my official response to your critique. After all, there are few things I detest more than a false dichotomy."

End Confessional

"Well, once again, let me offer my deepest thanks for picking me." Barnard bowed to both Antonio and Twilight. "If there is any information you want me to give about my former team members, I'll be glad to enlighten you about them. And feel free to work me like a horse in challenges! I may not look it at first glance, but I'm fairly well-built!"

Antonio began to chuckle at the offer.

Confessional: Antonio: The Visceral Vampires

"Samuel...our catch was quite the clever one. You've impressed me."

End Confessional

"That's appreciated, of course." Twilight responded while Antonio's laugh continued. "But the main reason we snatched you up was because you hadn't seen Zero Sum."

"Yeah, was too busy with other stuff to watch, sorry. I don't know anything about any returns."

"Exactly why we needed you away from that Banshee slut." Molly appeared from her room to momentarily join in the conversation.

Confessional: Twilight: The Visceral Vampires

"Well, and here I thought Molly was just Katelyn 2.0, but at least we seem to be united on the Anti-Freya front."

End Confessional

"Rich Bitch is correct." Twilight crossed her arms. "You can't deal with someone like Freya while you're unprepared. Samuel's learning that the hard way by being locked out of the cabin until nightfall this week. Meanwhile, I'll be baby-sitting Splotch so that he doesn't wander off again."

"Alright, losers, I'm heading out!" Molly put on her coat and began to unlock the cabin door. "Heading over to the Banshee nest to meet with my extra loser sister for a hair tie so I can finally stop looking like her inferior self."

"Don't trip and fall in the mud." Antonio warned. "It's raining pretty heavily."

Molly closed the door, and strode up to Samuel's bed where she grabbed a spare umbrella, before storming out of the cabin.

"Yeesh." Barnard stared as the three of them watched Molly wander off. He turned to Antonio and Twilight. "Anything I can do to help out around here? Seems like quality of life has been taken care of."

Antonio nodded. "Make sure Samuel isn't taking any of this the wrong way. That could be...horrific for him."

Confessional: Antonio: The Visceral Vampires

"At this point, I've just learned to have fun keeping everyone on-edge."

End Confessional

Location: Mt. Immolate Cavern

Contestant(s): Barnard, Lucien, Samuel, Tori

"You and I need to have a talk, you fibber." Tori approached Lucien in the cavern of Mt. Immolate. "Why'd you say you voted for Daniel last time we went to elimination when you clearly didn't?"

"Ohhhh, so it was youuuu!" Lucien laughed. "I was wondering who it was. Sorry, I hope you aren't mad, I can go tell Lena it wasn't me if you want-"

"Nonononono!" Tori blocked Lucien from walking out the way they'd come in. "I just want to know why. What's your real angle here? I'm too curious."

Lucien relaxed.

"A real angle is anywhere between 0 and 180 degrees. My favorite kind of angle is a 90 degree angle."

"I…" Tori sighed and scratched her head. "You are just an anomaly, Luci."

"Anna Molly? That's my favorite Red Hot Chili Peppers song!"

Tori had to keep herself from laughing at that one.

"Look, Luci, I don't plan to interfere with whatever it is you're trying to do. I just want to see how it all pans out. I just want to know one thing, truthfully mind you, and I promise to get off your back. I have a guess. A guess as to what you're planning. If I'm right, I want you to tell me, deal?"

"I can tell you right now." Lucien shrugged. "I'm planning to have a welcoming picnic for our new Demon."

"Nice try, but I have a feeling you know what I mean. I think you're-" She stopped short, and brought him behind some stalagmites.

"Someone's coming, let's spy on them!" She whispered giddily.

Samuel entered the cavern followed by Barnard.

"I just wish she'd at least realize that I was trying to help her when I went over there last week, that's all I'm saying." Samuel vented to his new teammate. "I'm just glad I was able to keep you away from there. She might be stranded on Weliweli right now, but Freya was bound to cannibalize you if she could have."

"I'd disagree." Barnard crossed his arms. "I've made it a bit of a point to not begin any sort of romantic relationships on this island, and Freya isn't my cup of tea anyways."

"That's not what I meant." Samuel shook his head. "When I met her last week it was so weird dude. It was almost like she can actively control your emotional mood. There's no outplaying her socially unless you actively ignore her, which is probably why she's so enamored with getting attention, to cover for that weakness."

"Sure, but she's playing with fire." Barnard offered some hope. "Every time she acts out a lie, the lie becomes a little more truthful, and while she can control the emotions of others quite well, according to you, I have a suspicion that she's traded her own emotional control for that ability."

"So what, you're saying-"

Barnard nodded. "I think so… I think we, with the right tools, can defeat her."

Confessional: Barnard: The Visceral Vampires

"I don't know shit all about the Banshees right now, let alone how much control any of them have over their team. What I do know is that if the Vampires lose, there is no way I want to be voted out first, so I'm going to give Samuel hope and befriend him, since he seems to be gluing Antonio and Twilight together in some kind of majority alliance. Ideally, Molly will leave next time we lose, and hopefully Aleister keeps getting exiled, that way I can cement myself as a fourth of these guys."

End Confessional

Confessional: Lucien: The Macabre Mummies

"They just kept talking, and talking, and talking! So glad Tori invited me to spy with her, otherwise I'd never get to know so much about those Banshees! I hope Dan the man is okay on Weliweli with the woman who appears to be their ringleader, and that Vampire who said he was trying to make it seem like he had a crush on her."

End Confessional

Location: Weliweli Island

Contestant(s): Aleister, Daniel, Freya

"Ughhh….why does this place have to be so disgusting?" Freya expressed her disinterest in the desolate Weliweli.

"Heheheh, well…" Aleister walked up to Freya. "We could cuddle in the shelter to keep warm-"

"Ew, thanks but no thanks."

"I have to agree with the Banshee." Daniel yawned. "No cuddling."

"I was only talking to the Banshee, not you." Aleister gave Daniel a glare.

"Still no, we're all so wet and gross." Freya pouted. "I just want to get back to my cabin, freshen up, and undo any damage that the newbie Demons might do while I'm gone."

"Hrm…" Aleister shrugged. "I thought you were always up for flirting. That's a shame."
"In nice weather maybe, but this is...just awful."

"Didn't stop you and Nick." Daniel passively inserted into the conversation.

"Hey, yeah, it didn't!" Aleister realized. "What makes Kyle so special that you won't flirt with me now, even though you did it all the time when you were with Nick?"

Confessional: Daniel: The Macabre Mummies

"And then...the strangest thing happened...Freya laughed. Not at either of us, but at herself. The laugh wasn't malicious, like how I'd always envisioned hearing her laugh. It was one of pure humor. It was a laugh of delight. I hated every second of it. Makes me glad I didn't hand her the Banshee's tiki."

End Confessional

Freya continued to giggle at her situation as a confused Aleister and disgusted Daniel exchanged glances.

"So that's how it is…" She stood up. "It shouldn't have any real effect on my immediate plans, but…*teehee* Ohhh, what a dilemma…"

She turned to Aleister. "Thanks, Vampire spawn, your confusion made me realize something important. I no longer have need of you."

"That doesn't sound ominous for you at all." Daniel sarcastically chimed in as Freya left the area.

"Sounded pretty ominous to me…" Aleister didn't quite pick up on the sarcasm.

"Why do I ever even bother?" Daniel mumbled to himself as he left in another direction.

Confessional: Aleister: The Visceral Vampires

"So...seducing Freya into seducing me didn't go quite as planned. I'll have to find other ways of gathering information."

End Confessional

Confessional: Freya: The Bloody Banshees

"The time on Weliweli is really good for self-reflection, and literally nothing else. I'm cold, my clothes are wet, all my makeup is back at the nice warm cabin that now has two little demons encroaching on my family space. If Kyle wants a pet, Kaden can stay for a spell, but another girl around Aubrey is bad news waiting to happen. I can't guard my treasures from that Molly girl either because I'm stuck here. I-...I think I'm nervous about how things are going back at the Banshee base. But like, I don't mean people not going through my dresser or something, I mean, like, is Kyle okay? Like, when I come back, will he still be into me or will he-...I...I don't enjoy this...this...this pit. This pit of emptiness in my chest… … Island gods… please… don't take me away just yet. He's not just some toy so… can't I keep holding onto this for a while longer?"

End Confessional

Location: Macabre Mummies Campsite

Contestant(s): Azami, Jamal, Lena

"Women, women, calm yourselves down/" Jamal pleaded as Azami and Lena chucked pieces of firewood at each other. "If someone saw you, they'd think you're both clowns!"

"Miss HUMORLESS LOSER is already a clown!" Azami snapped at both Jamal and Lena.

"You fucking goddamn shitty-ass bitch, shut the hell up already you loud, annoying, *BLEEP*!" Lena replied.

Confessional: Azami: The Macabre Mummies

"OKAY so the Demons had to go and l-lo-loo- alternately participate in the previous challenge, and well, 1: Thank GOD Kaleaf's gone, since he was spearheading the whole anti-Azami movement which was SO STUPID! I mean, who gets rid of ME?! I'M THE ONLY ONE WHO ACTUALLY DESERVED TO BE ON A STACKED TEAM! So yeah, Daniel, because he's at least a SMART loser, chose ME above all other former Demons to be put on his Mummies team. IMAGINE THAT, THE BEST PLAYER ON THE TEAM BEING CHOSEN FIRST WHEN THAT TEAM IS DISSOLVED, AND OHHH JAIME WAS CHOSEN LAST! HA! GUESS I GET THE LAST LAUGH, JAIME AND KALEAF! HAHAHA! *Ahem* AS I was saying… LENA'S LIKE WAY TOO LOUD AND RUUUUDE. I swear, the second this entire team gets to the merge because I am NOT going to let us lose again, she's freaking GONE."

End Confessional

Confessional: Lena: The Macabre Mummies

"So...Azami…look, I can fucking bitch about what a massive *BEEP* she is all day if I want to, but I can do that to her face, because I don't give a shit if other people see me not putting up with her fucking shit. I already have one little stain of existence in Daniel to focus on getting rid of. Azami is probably just the fucker's smokescreen for safety. Hopefully the other children of Isaac will listen to me when the time comes and we can stay on the mark, not falling for this goddamn howler monkey target. We can deal with her later."

End Confessional

Jamal looked back and forth from Lena to Azami, from Azami to Lena, as they kept fighting over something. He wasn't even sure what.

"Where on earth are you, Tori and Luci?/" He pondered. "Either of you wanna come n' rescue me? Dan put me in charge, things ain't going so well/. Both 'Zami and Lena are makin' this Hell."

Location: Muliwai River

Contestant(s): Kaden, Kyle, Sherwood

"No!" Kyle's eyes widened as Kaden told both him and Sherwood the story behind Helen's self-elimination. "Wow, no wonder it feels like the returnees are dropping like flies, they're voting themselves out!" He turned to Sherwood. "You're good at challenges though, so don't do that."

"I won't." Sherwood chuckled as he reeled in a fish. "Believe me, I won't."

Confessional: Sherwood: The Bloody Banshees

"I was voted out first last season. I didn't even do anything to deserve it either. Just a bunch of idiots following whatever Katrina damn well wanted done. Or perhaps just following fire in Maddie's case. I would never in a million years think to quit after being given a second chance like this. If Helen legitimately hated her team enough to throw away her own second chance, what does that say about the rest of these people? Kyle wanted Kaden here, and I assume Freya had some sort of plan in mind when she accepted him over Kaleaf, who would've been the easiest vote if we were to lose again. But me not knowing that plan isn't a good sign for me. So assuming the Demons are, in fact, demons...I think I might just sit back, watch the chaos unfurl, and then, when the dust has settled down, congratulate whoever comes out of it, and tell them I never doubted them for a second. All I need to do...is make the merge. Make the merge, and I'm done. I can immunity my way to the end."

End Confessional

"Okay, okay...but like...dude, I was not expecting you and Freya." Kaden pointed to Kyle. "You were going on and on to Aubrey about how she couldn't be trusted, you were treating her like some kind of malevolent goddess of emotional manipulation."

"Well-" Kyle shrugged. "It turns out I was wrong. You have to get to know a person before you judge them like that."

"Huh." Kaden crossed his arms. "From where I'm sitting, it looks kind of like you were actually spot on. You went from hating her to dating her, and from spending every waking minute with Aubrey to oh god, your face adopts the look of Death himself when I say her name."

"To be fair…" Kyle responded, composing himself. "She and Nick did form a secret relationship"

"See, that's the weird part." Kaden pointed out. "Wasn't Nick always going on about how he found Freya to be so hot? Like, the dude literally would go out of his way to do favors for other teams if it meant his reward was making out with her."
"Let's not talk about my girlfriend's ex-boyfriend, okay?" Kyle rose a brow.

"Kyle, I'm just trying to look out for you." Kaden sighed, a sad expression on his face. "Azami hasn't once come by for a pet competition. These women are going to eat us up if we don't stick together and look out for each other."
"Kaden…"

"Let me ask you this...who found out about the cheating first, you or Freya?"

"Freya."

"And did she show you proof of it?"

"Yeah, we caught them in the act. After the paintball challenge."

"Oh you did? What did Aubrey say when you confronted her?"

"I didn't confront anyone...I was heartbroken…And I can thank Freya for helping mend it back together."

"Wait a minute...That's odd…" Kaden cocked his head.

"What, the comforting or-"

"No, no, earlier. Freya already knew about the cheating, right? You really think she wouldn't blow everything up and make a scene? You really think she'd keep quiet about it, and only tell you after the challenge had concluded, conveniently before Po'ino?"

"Kaden...please…" Kyle started to shake.

"You cold man?" Kaden asked. "We can go inside if you want."

"Kaden...please…" Kyle wasn't shivering. He was trembling. "You...you save me this time, okay? Return the favor?"

Sherwood stood up.

"I had a feeling it would come to this." He shook his head. "Kyle, know that whatever you decide to do about this...I'm throwing my lot in with you for the time being." With that, Sherwood stood up, pat Kyle on the shoulder, and headed further up the river.

Confessional: Sherwood: The Bloody Banshees

"It's not that I'm having any kind of change of heart, or feeling like a male solidarity alliance is nice after letting Freya basically run our lives at camp. It's that while Kyle was trembling I saw his immunity tiki."

End Confessional

Confessional: Kaden: The Bloody Banshees

"After Sherwood left, Kyle and I had a long, and I mean LONG chat with each other. I am in no way a professional therapist, but I totally kicked ass in emulating one. Eventually, we reached a conclusion: He'd try to learn what really happened from Aubrey herself. After that, we'd both figure out how to handle the situation from there."

End Confessional

Location: Bloody Banshees Cabin

Contestant(s): Aubrey, Jamie, Kyle, Molly

Kyle walked into the Bloody Banshees' Cabin just in time to see Molly putting on a hair tie that Aubrey had snatched from Freya's belongings.

"You…" Jaime yawned as she noticed Kyle. "Are so stupid."

"That's why I'm here." Kyle didn't fight the insult. "Aubrey, please, tell me what happened! I thought what we had was-"

"It was!" Aubrey raised her voice as tears formed in her eyes. "Kyle, it was...so special to me…but then you-"

"Yeah, so special that you went and got together with Nick behind his back!" Molly almost immediately turned on her sister, interrupting Aubrey mid-sentence.

"Wha-" Aubrey rose her eyes in shock.

"Come on…" Jaime decided to roll hers.

"She's lucky I saw it happen too, and was able to bribe Nick to keep quiet about it for as long as they kept it up!" Molly kept going with the fabrication.

"N-no, that's not…!" Aubrey looked back from a bewildered Kyle to a sneering Molly.

Confessional: Molly: The Visceral Vampires

"Look, I don't owe my loser sister anything. Why should I help her out of this if it'll only create trouble for me? Like, yeahhh, no way. I'm not going to allow my foolish sister and her equally foolish ideals rob me of my own game. Instead, I'm going to hammer home the lesson I've been trying to teach her this entire time; pretending to be normal simply won't work."

End Confessional

"All my life, she's always been the 'better' sister. I might be prettier, I might know how to manage money more, but she's always getting more praise than me from our family. Why? I'm the overachiever here. But now you know why. It's because she hides how disgusting she really is! She's a wonderful liar, and think of how manipulative she's being by even signing up for this show and acting like she comes from the same stock as everyone else. You think a humble facade like that isn't going to drum up support to give the money to her? Hah! She's just trying to further the gap like I am. The only difference is I'm at least honest about it!"

Confessional: Jaime: The Bloody Banshees

"Having spent the last few nights with Aubrey, I've been pretty much brought up to speed on this whole debacle, so I know Molly's lying out her ass right now, but literally all Aubrey has to do is refute anything her sister says. For whatever reason though, she's too scared to do it, and I don't know which person she's afraid of pissing off. Freya? Molly? Kyle? Either way though, Aubrey needs an ally, and so do I. I figure if we make nice-nice with the country boy, we'll have enough numbers to be on top. For that to happen though, Aubrey needs to grow a spine, and fast."

End Confessional

"Hey Molly…" Jaime spoke up while slightly nudging Aubrey in the hip. "Why did you have to bribe Nick to stay silent? Doesn't Aubrey also have the money she'd need for that?"

"Hey...hey yeah!" Aubrey got a small second wind. "I...I could've bribed him myself to keep shut. I'm just as rich as you after all! What kind of gain do I get from letting you br-"

She stopped short.

Confessional: Aubrey: The Bloody Banshees

"I tried to stop myself, but I'd already said enough for Molly to roll with it. Ugh, why does she have to do this? Why is it that every time I want to do something good, or nice, or normal, she has to come in and destroy it?"

End Confessional

"There you have it!" Molly jumped on the opportunity. "She had me bribe Nick because she wanted to maintain that sense of normalcy she's tried to hard to convince you that she is."

"Stand up to her!" Jaime whispered to Aubrey with urgency.

"But she's just gonna-" Aubrey was already in a defeatist mindset.

Kyle took a deep breath and exhaled slowly.

"Remember to breathe, Kyle…" He said to himself. "Remember to breathe…"

Confessional: Kyle: The Bloody Banshees

"All I know right now is that there's a hell of a lot that I don't know."

End Confessional

"Look, Kyle…" Jaime sighed. "You now know Freya's version of events, and Molly's version of events. Let's hear Aubrey's version, uninterrupted, and we can figure out the truth from there. Let's not jump to any sort of conclusion."

"And can I trust you?" Kyle narrowed his eyes at Jaime. "From what I've heard you weren't respected on the Demons. In fact, you're really lucky Freya hates the other returns as much as she does, since that's practically the only thing that saved you."

"Well at least you aren't beating around the bush. You can trust me specifically because of that status. What in the world do I possibly have to lose? I'm on the bottom of this team too, and you and Kaden are clearly friends. I go home if we lose the next challenge. I have absolutely no reason to lie to you about any of this, and I still don't know your own version of things, only Aubrey's and, now, Molly's version. But I do know that if this whole debacle doesn't resolve itself, someone is going to get hurt, really really badly, and I definitely don't want that someone to be me."

"Fair enough." Kyle sighed again, after remembering to breathe. "Aubrey, help me figure this mess out. What happened-"

*BEEEEEP*

"Attention, contestants! Please head on down to Kahakai Beach immediately! We're going bowling!" Chris announced.

Confessional: Kyle: The Bloody Banshees

"Great...now I really don't know the truth." Kyle looks at the Banshee tiki in his possession. "But...maybe you can help me find it…right?"

End Confessional

Location: Kahakai Beach

Contestant(s): All Remaining

"Everyone...welcome back, Aleister, Daniel, and Freya from Weliweli Island!" Chris announced as Chef drove the Weliweli contestants up to their respective teams.

"Aleister, everything okay? Still physically fit for challenges and everything?" Samuel asked.

"Y-yeah…" Aleister nodded as he looked over at Twilight. "I couldn't find anything out though, they were both pretty adamant about not socializing."

"Oh well." Twilight shrugged. "The important part is that you're still in one piece."

Daniel was receiving a decidedly colder welcome.

"WHERE WERE YOU!" Azami half-joked, half-shouted in Daniel's face. "You put me on your loser team of losers and then you head off to Weliweli! I've had to put up with Miss SWEARS A LOT over here for a whole WEEK! A whole WEEK!"

"Oh, shut the fuck up already!" Lena started to lose patience. "You can't come out of your own team losing into our team, which, by the way, has been winning challenges, and act like you're better than us! You're still on the fucking bottom of the barrel. Daniel only brought you in to mask his own shitty fucking behavior. It won't fucking work."

Freya, however, had the most...unique reunion.

"Kyle!" She immediately jumped into a hug, taking Kyle by surprise.

"Freya...we need to talk after the challenge-" Kyle began but stopped when he noticed the tears that Freya was burying in his chest.

"I missed you...so much…"

"Careful dude…" Kaden whispered to Kyle. "Crocodile tears…"

Unfortunately for Kaden, Freya heard him.

"I'm sorry, have you spent a week on Weliweli? No? Then kindly keep your opinions about me to yourself! I was cold and wet and alone, and all I could think about was when I could see my boyfriend again!"

"You mean the one you stole?" Aubrey finally spoke up after continuous nudging from Jaime.

Freya stepped out of Kyle's confused embrace and turned to face Aubrey directly.

"Yes." She replied with a grin. "I mean the one I stole. Because unlike you, Aubrey, my love for Kyle was strong enough that I was able to do something about it. You had time after time to express how you felt, but you didn't, because you don't like him like I do. You only like the idea of him. Besides, it didn't stop you from hooking up with my old boyfriend first!"

Confessional: Freya: The Bloody Banshees

"Going by what Kaleaf told me, and the realization I had on Weliweli the other day...well, there was only one course of action I could possibly take to keep any sort of power on this team, and that was to blow everything up myself so I can collect the rubble in the confusion and build it back up again. I put in a lot of effort to get together with Kyle, and I'll be damned if I let a sheepish ingenue like Aubrey win him back over from me. He's mine now, and I have no intention of letting him go."

End Confessional

"Oh my god, I didn't ever kiss Nick!" Aubrey groaned.

"Wait, wait, wait...so who was Nick-" Kyle began.

"Kyle, for the love of-" Jaime was losing patience. "It was Molly, you idiot. You know, the identical twin?"

"Wait, wait wait...it was you who went out of her way to kiss my ex?" Freya asked Molly, feigning offence as though she'd just figured it out for the first time.

"What are you-?" Molly tried to defend herself, but Kyle, having heard Molly's own version of events earlier that day, knew she'd been caught red-handed.

"So...this whole thing is your fault."

He turned back to Freya. "We still need to talk later...but for now, I'm glad you're back."

"Kyle…" Kaden shook his head in disappointment.

"Molly, have I heard all of this correctly?" Twilight asked. "You went out of your way to poke the one person I'm trying to keep this team away from?"

"So what if I did?" Molly asked with a huff. "It's only taking a page out of her book of if you want a guy, you go for him no matter what!"
"I got that philosophy from you!" Freya flat out lied.

"As exciting as this reunion is…" Chris interrupted everything. "We do have a schedule to keep and a challenge to get to! Allow me to introduce you to...Nui Kaua Beach Bowling!"

He quickly looked into the camera. "Now with traps!"

"Beach bowling sounds simple enough, but bowling is a 5 vs 5 sport." Barnard explained. "What happens to the sixth member of each team?"

"Well, we have to bowl with something!" Chris laughed. "One member from each team will get inside one of the giant bubble balls back from World Tour's Japan episode, while each other member takes turns pushing them down their respective lane! Regular bowling rules apply, try to knock down all the pins, spares will add the next amount of pins knocked down to the score, strikes will add the next frame of pins knocked down to the score, try not to roll gutter balls. We're playing a three-frame game here, since ten would take way too long. There is however, a bit of a new rule, since someone will be in the ball that you're bowling. Don't let your bowling teammate puke! If they blow chunks, you've blown your contribution to this challenge, and can't bowl anymore. Your score will become final, and you'll have to hope your teammates don't suck as much as you do. Lowest score at the end gets a date with yours truly at the Po'ino Bonfire! I'll give you guys a minute to strategize and then we'll get started!"

Challenge: Nui Kaua Beach Bowling (Now With Traps!)

Rules; One contestant from each team will step into their team's bubble ball, and the other contestants will take turns bowling them along their team's lane in the beach to knock down as many pins as possible. The team with the lowest score at the end of the challenge will head to Po'ino to vote someone off. If the contestant inside the bubble ball throws up, the player that bowled them may no longer continue bowling, and whatever score they have is final.

Banshees:

Ball: Freya

1: Kyle

"Alright…" Chris announced as Kyle, Lena, and Molly all took to their lanes, where Freya, Daniel, and Twilight were waiting inside the giant bubble balls. "Frame 1, bowlers ready...go! Remember, once you reach the designated red line, you can't keep rolling your teammate, and you have to let go, letting them do the rest of the work themselves!"

"I'm disappointed in the way you went about starting our relationship…" Kyle mentioned to Freya as he started to roll her.

"Kyle…" Freya sighed. "I can understand where you're coming from, but it was the only way I could think to go about things, should I just have…*hup*...remained miserable? You should know, having spent as much time with me as you have, that I'm entirely loyal to those I care about, and I care about you the most."

"I know…" Kyle replied. "So do me a favor and throw a vote for Sherwood the next time we're at the elimination ceremony. I want to know you trust me as much as you say you do."

Confessional: Freya: The Bloody Banshees

"Throw a vote? That's a steep price to pay...but if it's the price for keeping what I've got, what I've earned, then I'll pay it gladly. Besides, Sherwood's a return anyways, so I'm sure him receiving a vote would be nothing new to him. The only thing is...the last time I trusted my SO with an elimination plan, I was voted off."

End Confessional

Kyle let Freya go as he reached the red line, and she was almost instantly launched by a spring trap into the air, coming back down and knocking 8 pins.

Lena meanwhile had manhandled Daniel all the way to her own red line, and Daniel was doing his best to keep from puking already, only managing to knock over 3 pins.

Molly, however, was performing by far the worst, leaving Twilight, the ball, to do most of the work. Once she was across the red line, however, Twilight passed over a speed booster, letting her ball actually reach the pins. Unfortunately, only 1 single pin was knocked over.

Kyle rolled Freya again. "I'll do it, Kyle." Freya picked up where they left off. "But please...please don't leave me."

"I don't know how much I can actually trust you right now, Freya...but whether you realize it or not, you did help me through a really tough time, so I'm not going anywhere."

"Thank you so much Kyle...I really mean it…"

And she did.

Confessional: Kyle: The Bloody Banshees

"I think I understand the truth of what's happened to me, and the far from innocent role Freya's been playing in it. That said...it's not lost on me that she's been warming up to me and my own thoughts as we spend more time together. I entered this team thinking my purpose was to defeat her...but that's wrong. That sort of animosity is exactly what allows people to do things that lead to this entire Nick problem, and no one, I repeat no one should have to go through something like that. No...I'm not here to defeat anyone, least of all Freya. There's a girl in there that's not some wicked Banshee. A girl who misses the company of people she likes spending time with, a girl who listens to my country music with a supportive smile even when it's obvious that she doesn't prefer it herself. I've seen that girl trying to come out of whatever mentality is trapping her. And that's my Freya. The one I'm going to save from herself."

End Confessional

Kyle gently pushed Freya across the red line, knocking down the remaining 2 pins for a spare.

Lena shoved Daniel over the red line roughly again, and once again Daniel had to fight the urge to vomit. Still, she managed to knock down all 7 pins she needed to knock down for a spare of her own.

Molly once again left Twilight to do most of the actual work in rolling the ball across the red line, resulting in Twilight being launched into the air similar to Freya earlier and knocking down only 7 of the 9 remaining pins.

"You ought to try a little harder, Molly!" Twilight warned. "Your ass is gone if we lose!"

"Tch." Molly clicked her tongue dismissively.

Jaime, Jamal, and Barnard all took their places for the first frame.

"How much of your performance back there was real, and how much was bullshit?" Jaime asked Freya. "I smell a healthy mix of the two."

"You don't need to know any more than you're correct. It was a mix." Freya shrugged.

Jaime gave a sarcastically sweet smile to Freya, before purposefully bowling her into a land-mine trap, sending Freya careening down the beach, knocking over 9 of the bowling pins.

"Good to see ya, Dan/ you gotta help me man." Jamal talked as he and Daniel got ready.

"Figures…" Daniel sighed. "What do you want?"

"Why's Azami gotta be here, dude?/ Just like Lena, she's hella rude!"

"She's here to help us stay ahead in challenges. I don't like the odds of going to elimination while I have no idea what Lucien's thinking."

Jamal pushed Daniel across the red line, and knocked over a good 8 pins.

Barnard's pushing of Twilight one-upped the Mummies by knocking over 9 pins effortlessly.

"Barnard, that was a good push, recruit!" Twilight praised him.

"It'll be an even better push next frame!" Barnard laughed as he went to retrieve her. "Also...I've been talking to Samuel. There doesn't seem to be any ill will between you two, but I'm of the mind that we can probably defeat Freya without much effort."

"I hope that doesn't mean you're going off to meet her behind my back too, does it?"

"Hell no!" Barnard laughed. "Why give her any of our attention? It'd be better focused on the challenges or long-term game plans."

Confessional: Twilight: The Visceral Vampires

"Finally! Finally a team member that understands the best way to beat the attention whore is to not fucking give her any!"

End Confessional

"I'm going to make this clear to you now…" Jaime said to Freya as she began to push her towards the red line again. "You can't touch me. I have Aubrey and Kaden to lean on, and neither one of them is ever going to choose you over me, and with your focus on wanting to be the only return, how long do you think Sherwood will remain loyal?"

"None of that matters anymore." Freya responded confidently. "Don't you wonder why I went out of my way to blow up everything I'd built up so far? All eyes are back on me. 'Ooh, what's Freya going to do next?'...classic misdirection. You've been so focused on me, you haven't even stopped to think about- whooaa!" Jaime had pushed Freya across the red line before she could finish, knocking down the last pin she needed for the spare.

Jamal too managed to bowl Daniel into the 2 pins he needed for a spare of his own.

Barnard and Twilight effortlessly took down their own last pin for a spare as well.

Aubrey, Lucien, and Aleister took their places.

"I'm disappointed in your betrayal, Aubrey." Freya taunted.

"Oh, be quiet! I'm not even sorry that I gave Molly one of your hair ties. Even if she didn't help me at all…"

"Either way, you know what's going to happen next time we lose now, right?"

"I actually don't." Aubrey replied. "You've been threatening me with eliminating Kyle. Are you really going to do that now though? He's been your defender back here, not anyone else. And considering he's not off his rocker in grief or rage, I don't think you two are splitting every time soon. And from what he's told me of your season...You...of all people, are the last person I'd think capable of voting off their crush."

"I wouldn't get so confident just yet." Freya replied. "Right now, I'm coming off as someone who had the courage to own up to making a mistake, as well as someone who did whatever she could for the sake of love. You, Aubrey, are coming off as unlucky, perhaps, but the more confidently you talk shit to me, the more jealous you look, and hun...it ain't pretty. You're just another rich bitch like your twin sister."

"I'm NOT like her!" Aubrey yelled as she practically threw Freya across the red line, triggering a strange sling-shot trap that threw Freya passed the pins, knocking down only one, before hitting a large rock sticking up in the shallow water.

"What the hell is your problem, Aubrey?" Freya feigned a frightened yell, though she had to stop in order to keep herself from vomiting.

The other players up at the beach lanes gave Aubrey stares.

"N-no...I-...She-!" Aubrey pointed before Lucien began to click his tongue.

"Tsk tsk tsk…" He shook his head. "I know I gave you your team name, but try not to actually become bloody. I wouldn't know how to make use of my future predictions."

"Oh, just be quiet and bowl me already." Daniel rolled his eyes.

"Sure thing, Dan my man!" Lucien spun Daniel over the red line, knocking down 7 of the pins.

"I actually did find out two things…" Aleister told Twilight as he brought her up to the red line. "Freya seems to actually like Kyle. I don't know if it started out a lie or what, but right now, she legitimately seems to want to be his girlfriend."

"Yeah, what's the other thing you felt the need to hide from the rest of the team?" Twilight asked.

"She said she didn't need me anymore. I'm just worried she's going to start focusing her attention on you and me, as the two returns that aren't on her team."

"Aleister, you're a little smarter than I had you pegged for." Twilight laughed as she was bowled over the red line, knocking down a small 4 pins.

"You see what I mean about jealousy, Aubrey?" Freya asked as Aubrey brought Freya back up to the red line.

Aubrey didn't respond, and simply bowled Freya across the red line, knocking down 4 of the remaining pins.

Lucien grinned goofily as he brought Daniel up to the red line. "Let's go buddy, we got this!" He spun Daniel across it, and managed to get the spare, but almost immediately afterwards, Daniel puked on his jeans.

"Ooooh!" Chris announced. "And just like that, Lucien's out of the competition! His final score of 10 better help out the Mummies in a rough jam!"

"Hahahaha!" Lucien laughed. "Chris, dude, jam isn't rough! I've had enough PB&Js in my life to know that, at least."

"You absolute fucking retard." Lena crossed her arms.

"What kind of LOSER score is 10?" Azami found herself in a rare agreement with her new rival.

Confessional: Lucien: The Macabre Mummies.

"I mean, at least I got the spare! In hindsight though, maybe spinning the ball isn't as good a strategy when there's a person inside it…" Lucien does one of his signature eye-glint smiles.

End Confessional

Aleister bowled Twilight down their own lane again, but only knocked out 5 of the six pins they needed.

Sherwood, Tori, and Samuel all came up to their respective teammates.

"So, I was going to tell you, but it seems you already know everything and how it's gone to hell in a handbasket."

"Kaleaf wasn't wrong in sending me to Weliweli at least, but there's no way he's right in that I'm going home next. After all, we're going to win this challenge. Is there anything else I should know about?"

"Nothing comes to mind right now. If I think of something, I'll tell you."

Confessional: Sherwood: The Bloody Banshees

"Every bone in my body was telling me, in that moment, to get as far away from the rest of the Banshees as I could. Not telling Freya about Kyle's tiki was the first move I made in an effort to distance myself from that team. When Freya is bringing attention to her, I can still hide, but with Jaime, Kaden, Kyle, and Aubrey also making scenes, it's much harder to keep my under the radar game going. Some curse to get me out of here better happen soon, because I do not thrive in the spotlight."

End Confessional

Sherwood bowled Freya across the red line, but only managed to knock down a single pin.

Tori meanwhile, was doing fine with Daniel, knocking down 7 pins.

Samuel spent a few seconds padding Twilight's ball with material to soften its exterior, effectively cancelling all of the motion activated traps in the Vampires lane. He bowled Twilight down and knocked over a full 8 pins.

Sherwood knocked down another 6.

Tori only took down 2 of the three she needed.

Samuel also suffered the same luck, only taking down one more pin.

Kaden, Azami, and Antonio then came up for their first frames.

"I don't know what you did to Kyle, but it worked. Even after I've tried so hard to pry him away from you completely." Kaden informed Freya. "Maybe he sees something in you that I don't. I don't care to see whatever that is, of course, because Helen said you're bad news, so I'm sticking with what the one ally I had on the Demons told me."

"You do you, Kaden." Freya dismissed him almost entirely. "You pose no immediate threat to my own game, especially if what you just said about Kyle was true."

Kaden rolled Freya over the red line, but only managed to knock down 3 of the pins.

"Okay, time to WIN!" Azami announced as she chucked Daniel's ball across the red line, knocking down 7 pins.

"Some winning." Daniel rolled his eyes as he mumbled under his breath.

Antonio bowled Twilight across the red line, managing to take out 6 pins.

Kaden took out 4 pins the second time he bowled Freya across.

"Well, I suppose it's more than three." Freya sighed, a little upset her team's anchor couldn't pull off a spare.

Azami, in a rage, threw Daniel over the red line, knocking down a single pin before sending his ball rolling towards a very hungry looking panther, that rustled him up real good as the interns tried to take him back.

Antonio, meanwhile, calmly bowled Twilight, knocking down 2 of his remaining pins.

The second frame played out much like the first.

Kyle, Lena, and Molly each managed a spare.

Jaime managed to knock 8 pins down in the second frame.

Jamal, only six...and his final score of 18 was determined when Daniel once again blew chunks.

"Stop with the spinning tricks, guys..." Daniel groaned. "If it didn't work the first time, why would you keep doing it?"

Barnard got the first strike of the challenge, to a cheering Vampires team.

Aubrey and Aliester both managed to get 9 pins total in their frames.

Sherwood managed a spare.

Tori rolled an 8 total, and Samuel rolled a 9.

Kaden hit 9 pins on his first bowl, and just barely missed the last one on his next.

Azami had sort of the reverse happen. She only hit a single pin her first bowl, and she would have gotten a great spare, except a lone pin stood standing.

Antonio meanwhile stayed with yet another 8.

All of a sudden, the third and final frame was upon everyone.

Kyle, Lena, and Molly all took their positions.

"I believe in you, babe!" Freya cheered from her bubble ball.

"I'm still mad at you." Kyle warned. "But thank you."

As it turns out, Freya's belief wasn't enough. Kyle only took out 6 pins total, for a final score of 34.

"For the record...I don't believe in you and never did." Daniel said to Lena.

"Feeling's fucking mutual, vomit-bitch." Lena replied before tossing Daniel into a strike, and scoring another four points on top it, for a final score of 54.

"Just fucking try, and I won't vote you off." Twilight cut Molly a deal after she attempted to bribe her to just run over the red line without her help.

"Fine." Molly groaned, actually managing to get a spare of her own and an extra pin on top it, for a final score of 35.

"Look at that, you beat Kyle." Barnard raised his eyebrows in surprise.

Molly had not, however, beaten Jaime, who rolled Freya into another spare, with 8 extra pins, for a final score of 51.

"There we go, that helps out, go Banshees!" Freya began to clap from her bubble.

Confessional: Freya: The Bloody Banshees

"Ohmygoshokay...okay...so...who here is wondering why I volunteered to be tossed around like a salad? Anyone actually smart will have already figured it out. That's right, the social advantages of being able to talk, one-on-one, with every other member of my team. I've effectively lodged myself in each of their subconscious so that no matter what any of them do, their going to think how it will affect me, rather than themselves. The more focused they are on the sexy naughty bitchy banshee, the less they are on their own so so weak defenses. So freaking what if I'm warming up to Kyle? He's my goddamn boyfriend, I'm allowed to do that! That's my take on this situation. Do any of them really think it'll weaken my gameplay at all? I like boys all the time!"

She gives an exasperated sigh.

"Oooh, I let Kaden and Jaime onto my team and one of them was at Kyle's request so I must be slipping" She stated in a mocking voice before returning to normal "Fuck the contestants who say or think that! They just can't deal with me being better at this than they are so they're desperate for some magical fix to come along! Well, one's not going to, because Rule #2 of Freya Merrim's Total Drama Playbook is this: You can find an advantage in every situation. Exploit it for all its worth!"

End Confessional

Barnard managed to knock down 9 more pins, but Twilight's stomach finally got the better of her as she too found herself vomiting, making Barnard's final score 48.

Aubrey also only knocked down 9 more pins, for a final score of 23.

Aleister managed to bowl a strike, but the second he knocked down one more pin, Twilight blew chunks again.

"S-sorry!" He called.

"N-no...it's me, you guys are fine." Twilight responded.

Sherwood only managed 9 more pins for a final score of 32.

Tori took 7 pins down for a final score of 24

Samuel meanwhile managed a spare and a 7 for a final score of 42.

Kaden surprised everyone with a strike and then a spare for a final score of 46.

Azami equally surprised everyone when she only bowled a 3 for a final score of 20.

Antonio, meanwhile, bowled a spare...but then Twilight puked one last time, forcing his final score of 26.

"And that's all three frames!" Chris announced. "Our lucky second place team…

With 181 points...is the Visceral Vampires!"

He turned to the Banshees and the Mummies.

"One of you beat out the Vampires, and one of you is about to join me at Po'ino…" He smiled.

"The winning team...with 186 points…

Is the Bloody Banshees!"

The Banshees erupted into cheers.

"Macabre Mummies, you'll be heading to elimination with me soon, but...why don't you choose one member from each of the winning teams to spend some quality time on Weliweli?"

The Mummies huddled up.

"We can't choose the people who were just there." Tori shook her head. "I'd be too wary of creating any sort of alliance."

"How about we send a Demon from each team/" Jamal suggested. "They're not as united as the rest of us seem."

"That's Barnard from the Vampires, but which Banshee Demon?" Daniel asked, though he very clearly didn't care.

Confessional: Daniel: The Macabre Mummies

"Look, unless I'm there too, I don't give a rat's ass who goes to Weliweli."

End Confessional

"I say Kaden." Lena suggested. "Jaime doesn't seem to do much, but Kaden could be a physical threat going forwards."

"NO!" Azami shouted in opposition. "Send Jaime instead! She's already a loser anyway! Cripple them where it hurts!"

"Clock is ticking, Mummies!" Chris announced.

"We'll send the twins!" Lucien announced, without getting anyone else's input.

Aubrey looked horrified at Lucien, while Molly gave him a giant death stare.

"Why?" She shook her head in disbelief.

"I dunno, it sounds funny." Lucien chuckled.

"This is so retarded…" Molly groaned as Chef herded both her and Aubrey into a boat ready to take them to Weliweli.

"Well, that's all for now." Chris shrugged. "I'll see you tonight, Mummies."

Location: Po'ino Bonfire Elimination Ceremony

Contestant(s): Azami, Daniel, Jamal, Lena, Lucien, Tori

"So, here's the chase, Mummies...bowling took longer than we thought it would, so we're gonna have to just skip the fun talking and go right into voting. Go up and leave a confessional as you write your target's name down, if you feel like you absolutely have to talk. We'll go in alphabetical order. Azami, you're up first."

Confessional: Azami: The Macabre Mummies

"I'm voting for Lena. You're bossy and ANNOYING and I hate you! Buh-bye LOSER Lena!"

Confessional: Daniel: The Macabre Mummies

"Lucien. He's either too incompetent to keep around, or worse, he is competent and is just that untrustworthy. Lena can wait until later."

"I thought she was here to win challenges/ she's bad luck is what she really is."

End Confessional

Confessional: Lena: The Macabre Mummies

"My vote, like fucking always is for Daniel. Hopefully tweedle-Tori and tweedle-Luci realize we have the ability to finally fucking kill him off from the game but I'm not about to get my fucking hopes up."

End Confessional

Confessional: Lucien: The Macabre Mummies

"Uhhhh….Hmmm….I guess...you, maybe?"

End Confessional

Confessional: Tori: The Macabre Mummies

"I'm basing this solely on the fact that you're the only person on this team that I've never seen taking any sort of risks. Because of that, I find you, quite frankly, disgusting."

End Confessional

"Oh my god, dude!" Chris announced as he came back from tallying the votes.

"You're all some messed up Mummies! I'll read the votes in a second...or will I?"

"Is it finally time for whatever curse is coming?" Daniel correctly guessed.

"That's correct, Daniel!" Chris grinned. "This curse is one I like to call... The Devil's Bargain! After all, wouldn't it be nice if you could come back from this elimination ceremony with everyone? You can!"

"And the catch?" Tori grinned.

"Only that the next time your team loses, you lose two members, as chosen by the winning teams. OH, and also you'd be spending all your time until then, or the merge whichever is closer, on Weliweli Island."

"Fucking no we won't take that curse!" Lena declined.
"I agree, that's just...way too stupid." Daniel shrugged. "This game, at the end of the day, is about eliminating other people. I don't want to hand that power away to some other team!"

"It's not very often that those two agree on a thing, Chris." Tori laughed. "As much as I'd love to take it, I'm not about to go over my team's heads."

"Is that how everyone feels?"

"Chris, instead of reading the room, just READ the votes!" Azami joked loudly before erupting into a cackle, to both Lena's and Daniel's dismay.

"Alright then…" Chris grinned. "If anyone has a hidden immunity tiki and would like to play it, now would be the time to do so."

Azami bit her lip and looked at her bag.

Daniel reached into his pants pocket.

Jamal fidgeted in his chair.

Lena stared at each of the other Mummies.

Lucien yawned and relaxed.

"Chris." Tori stood up. She grinned. "Sorry, wanted to say it."

She sat back down.

"Alright then." Chris brought out a tray of crystal balls. "When I call your name, come up and get a crystal ball, safe, blablabla yadda yadda name not called is eliminated immediately, we all know the drill by now, right?"

"JUST GIVE THEM OUT ALREADY, I WANT TO SLEEP!" Azami shouted, tapping her foot impatiently.

"Well, the only person to not receive any votes...is Tori." Chris announced as he held out a crystal ball that Tori happily took.

"The rest of you are all over the freaking place! And here I thought you might have been a little more unified! Azami, you're safe too."

"Uh, DUH." Azami walked up to grab her crystal ball.

"Daniel!"

"Of fucking course he is…" Lena sighed as Daniel grabbed his own crystal ball.

"And so are you!" Chris laughed. "Come on up, Lena."

"Why can't one of us just be put out of the misery of having to deal with the other?" Daniel questioned the island gods as Lena took her own crystal ball.

"Gentlemen…" Chris turned to Jamal and Lucien.

"This...is the final crystal ball of the evening. And it goes to…

… Lucien." Chris tossed Lucien the final crystal ball.

"What can I say, Jamal, it's been fun/ but as the only guy with two votes 'gainst him, your game is done!"

"You can't rap very Chris/ just stick to shows like this." Jamal responded before turning to the rest of the Mummies.

"Luck is what the lot of y'all need!/ From your bullshit, I'm finally freed!"

He calmly got himself inside the Coffin of Shame, and the Horror Hearse drove him off of the island.

"Children of Isaac strike again, woo!" Lucien quickly high-fived a confused and angry Lena.

Confessional: Lena: The Macabre Mummies

"I very fucking clearly voted Daniel, and that goddamn idiot knows it...so why the fuck is he trying to include me in this over Tori? The obvious other person. I have no fucking idea. Maybe I'll eventually learn to just accept his stupid bullshit."

End Confessional

Confessional: Lucien: The Macabre Mummies

"Yeah, it might be a little rude to give Lena the credit that should go to Tori, but I'm just a teeny tad mad at Tori for getting all up in my business. Let sleeping Luciens lie. It's better for everybody."

End Confessional

"And Jamal the rapper has been ousted!" Chris announced to the camera. "17 are left! What awaits Aubrey and Molly on Weliweli? Can the Mummies come back from this loss? After the first two challenges we was living the dream.

We go mud sledding and the Demons are split/

And the one we get is a gigantic bitch!

I tried to speak sense, get her out of our hair/

But Dan was focused on the challenge, my words went nowhere.

Fast-forward to the votes, I cast mine for that girl/

But then this result happens and I almost hurl.

We was a team, I thought, and she's an outsider/.

But that Luci and Tori they together conspire

To vote me on out, and I think I know why/

They felt threatened by my sic rhymes 'cause I'm fly!

So now I gotta go, leaving the Mummies behind/

And I just wished we took that curse, or that time could somehow rewind.

Who will I root for, now that I'm a viewer like you?/

Well 'course my bud Daniel, and I say you ought to too.

AN:

So Jamal Brown...was kinda hard to write. When I saw his personality in the interview questions, I always kind of knew that he was going to be a stock character. He wasn't on the wrong team at the wrong time or anything like that. The way he talked simply forbade him from managing to get very far. His speech pattern is admittedly one super large reason he was voted out as early as he was, but hey, he made it past the first quarter of the game. He did better than six, nay, seven other people (because it was 25 players this time), and that's something to be proud of for someone whose personality boils down to: I talk in rhymes all the time. Unfortunately, because of that, while he'd have worked great as a comic relief, he didn't have enough narrative importance to warrant keeping him any further than necessary, especially because this particular season of Total Drama isn't billed as a Humor fic like my other ones usually are.

Having studied his actions, or perhaps lack thereof, throughout the season, Jamal receives the status of: Neutral.

Jamal, at least to me, is very much to Daniel as Nick was to Freya. A sort of second person who sort of followed your orders but wasn't necessarily smart enough to continue following your orders. That's where that comparison ends though. But honestly, I think Tori's vote-out confessional says it best. Jamal never took any risks or made any moves to further himself in the game. Perhaps if he did, he'd have placed higher, but it's kind of hard to socialize when you only speak in rhymes the way Jamal does.

Jamal's greatest moment, at least to me, is probably just his Final Confessional you just read. Mainly because he was in so few moments to begin with because it's hard to organically write his rhymes into any sort of conversation, and that one flows naturally because he's rapping about a legitimate moment and dilemma he went through, something we saw him go through, and there's no one around to be all like "why the hell is he rhyming?"

But of course, this is all just my opinion, what do you guys think?

Do you think the Vampires or the Banshee's would have taken the Devil's Deal if they were the ones at Po'ino?

How well off do you guys think Freya is right now, actually?

Molly and Aubrey stuck on Weliweli together: Thoughts on what it means for the two of them?

Which Demon do you guys think will get the furthest?

Any thoughts/hopes on what the next episode's curse will be?

And, as always, thanks for reading!
