AU: Pansy is a college student majoring in design and fashion. She works part-time at a coffee shop on a main road in London. Hermione is a bubbly girl who is in love with books and loves learning. She works part-time at a Library on a main road in London.

Hermione is a caffeine addict; Pansy needs some books on fashion. What happens when the two meet and become friends?

xXx

It was Monday morning.

Pansy pushed open the door to the coffee shop to find the small metal tables and chairs already laid out around the room on the white tiled floor. The counter was already clean with the cash register in the middle, to the right was the glass cabinet food-warmer which held donuts and things such as pies and sausage rolls. On the left of the cash register was a glass cabinet which held cold foods such as cakes and jelly.

She glanced at the clock on one of the shelfs above the counter beside a pot plant, it read 9:30.

Pansy hurriedly rushed over to the counter, pushing open the trapdoor and sliding in, securing it as she walked over to several hooks on the wall and picked up the apron hung on the hook above 'Pans.'

She looped her fingers around an old half-broken hair-tie that was hanging loosely around her wrist and pulled back her shoulder-length black hair, barley tying it into a ponytail, a few strands falling out at the front. She had just opened the glass cabinet and snatched a donut for breakfast when her friend, and co-worker, came out of the bathroom.

"Jess! Thank you so much for opening up for me, I really appreciate it-"

She was cut off by Jessica who sighed, "Pansy, you're late. This is the third time this week."

Pansy's smile faded, "I know. I'm sorry, I've just been so busy with college and trying to get assignments done." She smiled apologetically at her friend who just shook her head, "It's okay, just don't let it happen again, yeah? Maybe get a tutor for that college work." Jessica recommended, coming to stand beside her and out together the blender. Pansy turned on the coffee machine just in time for the first customer to come in.

"For punishment, you're on order duty." Jessica said, gesturing towards the cash register. Pansy tried not to sigh as she adjusted her apron before she stood in front of the cash register, notepad, and pen in hand. She smiled as an older man walked up to the counter.

"Hi, what can I get for you today?"

xXx

It was Monday morning.

Hermione walked down the street, skirt swishing by her thighs as she did so, her shoes clapping on the concrete below her. Then she stopped in front of a familiar building, a large glass one with many books visible through the window. She checked her watch for the time, 9:30.

"Perfect." She muttered as she pushed open the large glass doors. She strolled into the carpeted room, greeted with a large desk in the middle of the room, many shelves of books and book stands surrounded it. At the white desk was a computer or two, an older woman was sitting at the desk, grey hair twisted into a bun and her glasses on her face as she squinted at the computer screen.

She walked up to the desk, waving at the lady. "Hi Ro." She smiled happily. The old woman turned to look at her and smiled fondly at the curly hair and bright outfit. "Ah! Miss Granger! How nice to see you, I do not mean to send you off to do the boring stuff, but Cormac has a trolley of returned books for you to put away in isle three." She said, sounding sort of apologetic.

Hermione was not very fond of Jacob but nodded nonetheless, "It's okay Ro, I know this library better than my own house, ill be able to return them all." The older woman smiled at her, "Thank you, Granger." She said.

Hermione nodded at the strange nickname but continued past the desk anyways, heading towards isle three. I do not know why she insists on calling me that, its my last name.

Hermione was not surprised when the trolley of books was not in isle three and instead found in isle six, along with her co-worker Jacob.

"Ah, good morning Cormac." Her told was cold but the smile on her face warm. The boy with light brown hair looked up, dazzling smile and all and grinned at her. "Morning Mione." His voice was almost in a purr, a hum and Hermione could have cringed at it.

She walked towards him, ignoring the fact that he was dressed in some tight pants and a very expensive looking shirt and shoes. Hermione's other friend Ron had pointed out that he had noticed Cormac wore more expensive clothes on the days Hermione worked.

Her and Ron had discussed many times that she was not interested in him or his money and good looks, but Cormac would not take no for an answer. Cormac was about to step towards her, probably to use a cheesy pick-up line or ask her out AGAIN, but she was interrupted by a customer tapping her on her shoulder.

Thank god, she turned to see an older woman, a young child with her, probably looking for the children's section. She spoke in a relived tone, "Hi, how can I help you?"

xXx

It was Hermione's lunchbreak, finally. She could not help but quickly wave her good-bye to Cormac as she practically sped walked out of isle six, following all the books, running her hand across the spines as she contently took in the perfect scent of fresh book pages and ink. She had not been able to smell that over Cormac's stench of expensive cologne.

She found herself by the library service desk and she told Rosemary she was going out for lunch and waved her good-bye before she walked towards those big glass doors and pushed them open, striding out into the streets.

She was met with the scent of fresh rain and found it was sprinkling lightly as she squeezed through the crowd of London's streets, trying her hardest not to run into anyone.

It was particularly busy at lunch time because many people were doing the same as she was; getting lunch. She usually left later to get lunch, but she was already sick of Cormac and was craving a coffee, she had recently found out there was a coffee shop on her walk to work.

She pulled her phone out as she walked, hoping her friends Ron and Harry could drop in later to help with her boredom at work. They worked at the bank and only worked twice a week, got paid well for it too, so they could drop in today if they were not busy.

She stopped outside the coffee shop as she found it, large glass windows with assorted plants out the front. She pushed open the door, walking in and out of the rain and cold, only met by a long line for the coffee. So, she waited patiently.

Pansy hated lunch times because of how busy the coffee shop got. People would bring in their kids, elderly people would get coffee and chat, younger teens would come with their friends and get iced tea or hot-chocolates.

Pansy's shift was ending soon, then she only had more work to do for college and she needed to get some assignments finished. The line moved quickly as she sent the orders through to Jessica, half-glad that she was not the one scrambling to make assorted drinks and was simply writing down orders.

People ordered their drinks quickly and the line soon shortened, Hermione was close to the front now, just behind a couple who were getting hot chocolates. Hermione's eyes cast up to the menu and her eyes searched over the hot drinks. Maybe a hot chocolate or coffee would be nice?

But she found that they never usually did the trick. She always ordered ice coffee…maybe just this once was an exception. So, when the couple moved aside, Hermione was already reaching into her bag, trying to find her purse. Pansy already had her eyes concentrated on the notepad with her pen, pressing buttons on the cash register from the last order.

"Hi, what can I get you today?" She asked, ripping a sheet off her notepad, and passing it to Jessica who gladly took it and began hurrying to make that order. Hermione still searched for her wallet.

"Just a medium hot chocolate." She said softly, coming to glance at the food warmer. She felt a bit peckish and knew Harry and Ron would be here soon too. "Add three donuts to that, please."

The female voice in front of her replied with, "Yep. Do you want that in a takeaway cup or are you eating in?"

"Takeaway cup, gotta get back to work." She muttered, finally finding her wallet, and clumsily shoving a note in the cashier's direction.

"Here you go." Pansy said looking up to hand the change to the customer. And there was a ding at the cash register. Hermione was looking off to the side and out the window, watching as she saw a taxi stop outside and her friends get out.

Hermione turned to take the change, looking up at her, "Thanks." Their eyes met and Hermione froze.

The cashier was beautiful. She had her black hair tied back, parts of it falling out at the front, framing her face. She had beautifully shaped eyebrows and long eyelashes, accompanied by big green eyes. She had a septum piercing with a black ring and was wearing black lip stick on her lips, her outfit was hot too; she was wearing a black t-shirt with black ripped jeans and a bracelet around her wrist, Hermione could have sworn the coloured beads represented a pan flag. If she was not mistaken Pink, yellow, blue.

Pansy had frozen too, her eyes too busy concentrated on the cute girl in front of her. She had long brunette curls which were out and fell down her shoulders, matching chocolate brown eyes with shorter but curled eyelashes, her eyebrows thin and lighter. She had the cutest freckles sprinkled across her face along with the softest looking pink lips. She was wearing a cream-coloured sweater underneath a black overalls dress, as well as a backpack. There was a bracelet around her wrist too, Pansy's heart fluttered when she realised it was a Lesbian flag.

Pansy's words caught in her throat as she went to say, "here's the change." And instead dumped the coins into the girl's hands, accidentally brushing fingers with her, making both blush furiously.

Hermione was looking away as she walked to the side to wait, being handed a paper bag with her treat inside and the hot chocolate in hand. Pansy was watching her hurriedly walk away, she wished she had time to watch where this girl was going but she told herself that was creepy and weird had to take orders for the next person in line.

Hermione hurried through the crowd as she caught up with Harry and Ron down the road, tapping on their shoulder's from behind. They turned and squashed her in a hug upon spotting her. They quickly made it out of the busy streets and into the library and Hermione waved at Rosemary as she passed again, Ron and Harry following.

They walked into an empty isle where Hermione gave them each a donut as Ron already began chatting about how Blaise worked all the time, and he was so bored. Hermione sighed, "Well you guys barley work part-time. I've got to take care of Teddy on Saturdays; did Draco tell you?" Hermione spoke, turning to Harry. He shook his head, taking another bite.

"Oh, well I do now which leaves Sunday and Friday free." She said, "I hope that doesn't last long, I want to have Saturdays free, ill take him on Sunday though?" Hermione suggested. "I have no idea what's going on with the Teddy timetable, all I know is that we have him most the time." Harry said, waving his hands in the air.

Hermione was called into the next isle of books by Cormac and Harry and Ron followed, making Cormac glare at them as they appeared around the corner too. "What now?" She asked, taking a sip of her drink.

"Take this back to the storage room and go scan the other returns." Cormac said. Hermione nodded, "Eye, eye boss." She said, dragging Harry and Ron with her as she left.

Soon after her friend's had to leave, go and do grocery shopping, plus Harry had to pick Teddy up. Hermione was back on her own, scanning books. Her mind came to wonder on whether the cashier girl was going to be there tomorrow. Hermione leant on her elbow, palm holding her cheek up as she thought about the cashier girl. Hermione did not drink coffee that often but if she could see that girl everyday…she would make it a habit.

Then the thoughts came flooding through her mind, what shifts does she work? What days does she work? Does she have the same day off as me? Would she say yes if I asked if she wanted to go out sometime? Gosh maybe she thinks im weird…I starred at her for far too long. Im such a weirdo!

The memory came back, and she cringed a little, a blush spreading across her face. "Ugh, im too gay for this!" She whined out loud, burying her face in her hands as she did so. She drowned out her thoughts by listening to music with her earphones, not able to help but rock her head slowly to her music. "Too gay for what? Scanning books?"

Hermione jumped at the voice, not expecting Rosemary to appear suddenly behind her. She grabbed the scanner from beside Hermione and began scanning books although Hermione protested ("Ro, that's my job-" "Shush, you seem to have enough on your mind right now.")

"So, what's this that you're whining about?" The older woman asked. Hermione blushed, "I was trying out the hot chocolates at the new coffee shop down the road since I hadn't gone in a while to get coffee." This alone had made Rosemary raise an eyebrow, it had been a long time since Hermione had gone to get coffee. "And the cashier…god the cashier is so hot!" Hermione blushed.

Rosemary raised an eyebrow, "Ah, young love." Hermione blushed, "I'm not sure I would call it love…I only sort of looked at her once and just-" Hermione cut off her words with a gibberish sound as she cringed at the memory.

"Nothing has ever distracted you this much before, usually you would have these books done in two minutes, not half an hour." Rosemary pointed out. Hermione sighed, "I know."

"So, what do they look like?" Rosemary asked, her face suggestive. Hermione smiled, "Short black hair, pretty green eyes, black clothes, black lipstick, the prettiest face- she was just…" Hermione let out a whine, "I can't describe it, she was gorgeous!"

She began scanning books too, thinking about if she would ever see the cashier girl ever again.

xXx

Pansy found herself thinking about the girl who came into the coffee shop. She was so pretty it made Pansy blush even just thinking about her. She had noticed the name tag on the girl's shirt, which meant she had a job. A job in this area. She tried to think back at what the name tag said, if it had a company name. Or even HER name but all she could remember was being distracted by her beautiful face…Pansy found herself blushing and placed her face in her hands, oh god.

Jessica called out her name for closing time and Pansy went off to grab cleaning equipment, wondering if she would ever see that girl again.

Jessica called out to her, said her shift was nearly over.

The two girls swapped jobs, Jessica took the orders now while Pansy made the drinks and gathered the snacks for orders. She could not help but think of the girl she had met every time she was ordered to make a hot chocolate. Okay now this is weird. She was just pretty, stop being a weirdo.

Her own thoughts battled each other. So? You have seen other pretty girls before, what is so special about her?

Although Pansy could not deny that she honestly was beautiful. "Ugh." Pansy groaned, covering her face with her hands. This is a problem.

She began making another order, wondering if she would ever see the hot chocolate girl again.

Some Pansmione fluff for y'all

I'll write a second chapter soon, im just lazy :)

It was Tuesday now, Pansy had a day off and she was relived, she had errands to run and things to do which distracted her from the pretty hot chocolate girl. She had done her grocery shopping which mainly consisted off energy drinks that she lived off and some fruit and chips. She was a plain person when it came to food and was very picky, so she always knew exactly what to buy. She still lived with her dad too, so he did most of the cooking.

Then she finally cleaned her mess of a room, putting away many books and pencils along with many, many overdue assignments. Once she had done so she found that exactly was the only thing she had left to do, finish her assignments. She had her official designing assignment where she was to create a clothing item of her own, which she had not gotten around to yet, and the main assessment which was to write about some sort of inspiring fashion designer.

That is where she was lost. Pansy did not know any famous designers. She tried using various websites on her laptop, but she had countless professors tell her it was not a 'trusted source' for information. She did not own any magazines, leaving her only option books.

Pansy sank into her armchair, reaching for her phone on her desk, pulling up google. She lazily typed in, 'libraries near me.' Instantly a map popped up and Pansy found there was a very large library with all sorts of books down the road from the shop she worked at. Perfect.

She changed her clothes in case there was a slight chance she would run into the hot chocolate girl while she was there, even though she highly doubted it. She changed into a black thigh-high skirt and a dark green jumper which she tucked in, making sure all the warmth was trapped in with her. They were expecting snow soon where she lived as it was nearing the middle of winter. She slipped on her iconic black sneakers.

She grabbed her keys and her wallet, not knowing if she would have to pay for a library card or not as she headed out of her room.

A short car ride to the library, parking her car a block or two down from the building as she stepped out onto the pathways. It was not busy this late in the afternoon although it was only around 4:30, she usually loved this hour when she was working because there was barley any customers and she and Jessica could mess around and sit on the counters, make weird drink combinations. Try different flavoured hot chocolates to keep them warm…hot chocolate. The girl. Pansy found herself glancing around the street as she locked her car before walking away at nothing but the sight of older kids her age and old couples going out to café's for dinner.

Pansy walked past an antique store, a toy shop, even a candle shop and two houses before she was met with the large glass doors of the library. Pansy took a deep breath before she pushed the doors open and wandered inside. She gasped at the sight of the large room; it was beautiful.

There were large lights hanging from the roof over tall shelfs of books and tables with computers on it, there was a kids section with picture books and a small table, fairy lights around the smaller shelfs. There were also several pot plants around making Pansy feel a bit better about the place, as she herself decorated places with pot plants to feel more comfortable, including the coffee shop.

She was met with a large white service desk in the middle of the library and she strode over to the desk. She saw an elderly woman with light grey hair and many wrinkles on her face, typing away at the computer, Pansy thought she looked nice. She also was the only person Pansy had seen since she walked in. So, she shuffled a little closer, hoping the woman would look up but she did not.

So, Pansy smiled blankly, "Excuse me, ma'am." She said softly. The woman looked up from her computer, squinting at Pansy before she smiled a little. "Good afternoon, how may I help you?"

Pansy fumbled with the edge of her skirt with her fingers as she spoke, "I have an assignment due at the college I go to, I was wondering if there were some books here that I could read or possibly borrow." Rosemary noticed this girl was around the same age as Hermione, a memory of her conversation with Hermione came up in her mind from yesterday afternoon.

Rosemary observed the features of this girl. Black lipstick, check. Short black hair, check. Black clothes, check. Green eyes, check. She smiled, "Ah yes, we have many books in this library. I will call one of our younger librarians over. She's about your age, wonderful girl, she'll be able to find what you need." Rosemary said, she clicked a button on a microphone next to her and spoke clearly, "Can I please have Hermione Granger to the service desk please." The words she spoke were mimicked perfectly from the speakers above.

Pansy stood patiently as Rosemary continued to type away on her laptop, smiling.

xXx

"Can I please have Hermione Granger to the service desk please." The loudspeakers rang. Hermione smiled gladly as she left the trolley of books she was currently putting away and out of isle ten, making sure to bring with her a book she had found earlier without a barcode, walking past the kids section near the front of the library and she appeared at the back of the service desk. She looked up to see Rosemary typing away at the computer, a girl standing next to her typing on her phone, who she barley noticed.

"Hey Ro, I found this book without a barcode on it." Hermione said, sliding the book across the counter. Pansy looked up at the sound of that voice, it sounded familiar. Hermione happened to look at the girl standing on the opposite side of the service desk just as Rosemary said, "Hermione, this young lady would like some help finding a book."

Hermione's heart almost stopped when she met with those green eyes, the exact same ones she had not been able to stop thinking about. Pansy's breath caught in her throat at the sight of those chocolate brown eyes, the exact same ones that belonged to the hot chocolate girl.

Pansy knew it was her, she had the same freckles and shocked look on her face as the girl in the coffee shop.

Their eyes searched each other's faces, as if not believing it was the exact same person. Rosemary broke the silence between them, "I believe you were looking for a book on fashion? Hermione, you'd know where that section was, help this young girl out of for me?"

Hermione nodded, stuttering, "I- uh- follow me please." She managed to get out, gesturing towards herself as she began walking, her heart racing as she heard the other girl's shoes click behind her. Pansy followed her, shock still paralysing her voice box as she said nothing and followed, trying not to look at how stunning the girl looked in the purple dress she was wearing. Hermione was blushing furiously, her mind trying to concentrate on where she was meant to be going as she zigzagged in and out of bookshelves, Pansy on her heels.

She slowed and came to a stop at a large section towards the back of the library, she turned to the girl beside her, who was looking at her now. Hermione studied her outfit, from her black sneakers to her skirt and green jumper. She wanted to compliment on Pansy's style but shook the thoughts from her head, "There's different sections here, there's more your design books on how to make clothes and the history of styles and clothes production." Hermione stood back to look at the books, "Then there's the actual history of fashion itself which briefly goes over design as well," She turned to look at Pansy, her eyes a little shy as they avoided contact. "So, what exactly did you need?"

Pansy's voice seemed to return now as she looked at the large bookshelf in front of her, "I'm more looking for a book on the fashion designers themselves, if you know anything of the sort?" Pansy asked softly.

Hermione nodded, "Yeah, we have 'Fashion and the Fosters' which is about an old fashion designer family and their history including which clothes types they created, along with things such as feuds with other fashion companies, but that's honestly about a bunch of drama if you ask me," Hermione spoke quickly, not missing a syllable, Pansy couldn't help but admire how smoothly her mouth moved as she talked, "And then there's more an in depth book over here," Hermione leaned forward and pointed to a thicker book, "about a whole town of fashion lovers, I think this one is a lot more basic…" Hermione paused, finally taking a breath.

"What do you need the book for?" Hermione asked then quickly regretted as she realised the possible nosiness of that question, "If you don't mind telling me, it just helps with recommended selections." She said.

Pansy was blown away by how much she knew about these books and she wasn't even studying the subject, was she? Pansy blinked for a moment, "It's for a college assignment."

Hermione couldn't help but geek over this bit of information, "That's so cool! I couldn't do that; my style is all over the place." She laughed, making Pansy smile slightly. Pansy glanced at Hermione's wrist as she reached for a book, her eyes meeting with the lesbian bracelet once again.

"I would definitely recommend this one, its got more fact than stories and is basically a retell of the town and their fashion history, in which many famous fashion designers lived before they went big. I think this would work well for you." Hermione advised, handing her the book. "But again, if you don't want to use that one, feel free to look at the others." Hermione said softly.

Pansy watched as she went to walk away, "Wait!"

Hermione froze, turning on the spot, her curls flying over her shoulders, "Hm?"

"Sorry- its just…" Pansy took a dee breath, just say it!

"Are you the pretty girl from the coffee shop?" Pansy blurted. She had not meant to ask those exact words, but she guessed it worked well enough when Hermione blushed, "Yeah." She said, almost in a shy way. Pansy was quite shocked that Hermione had been happily blabbering away about books and had suddenly gone quiet all because of her.

Pansy nodded and Hermione waited a moment more to see if she had more to say. Pansy knew she was about to walk away, and she wanted to ask her to stay, even just to keep talking about books so she could hear her cute voice as she blabbed random history facts about them, but that was not part of Hermione's job and Pansy didn't want to bother her, "Well, my name is Hermione. I have some books I need to sort, but if you need me then I'll be a few isles down, don't be afraid to come ask me anything."

"I'm Pansy and thank you." Pansy said, watching as she walked away.

Pansy sighed as she found a small desk in one of the idles of books, placing her bag on it before she opened the book.

However, she could not get past the first sentence without thinking about Hermione. Hermione, hermione, hermione.

Her name was just as pretty as she was…Pansy blushed. Stupid feelings.

Half an hour had passed, Pansy had spent it on her phone, texting her college friends because she could not even look at the book without thinking about Hermione and she knew this was already a problem. It was getting late and she was rather hungry and tired, so she gathered her things, she wanted to go see Hermione again so she could hear that soft voice and see her passionate smile, but she also did not because it would guarantee that Pansy would spend the rest of the night thinking about her. Fuck it. She thought and decided to go see her anyways.

She gathered her belongings in her backpack and walked along the back of the library, cursing how gay she was as she spotted Hermione half-way through isle nine, there was a few books left on her trolley and Pansy hoped she was not disturbing her as she walked down the carpeted isle.

Hermione turned to the sound of footsteps; Pansy could not get over the way her curls fell over her shoulder perfectly. "Oh hey, did you need another book?" Hermione asked, placing the book currently in her hands onto the trolley beside her.

Pansy shook her head, "No, I was leaving actually." Pansy said, "It's late, and I have to get home to my devil of a cat." Pansy said, Hermione's eyes shone at the mention of her pet, "You have a cat too?"

Great, another reason why she is so perfect for me. "Yeah, a short haired tabby." Pansy replied, opening her phone in her hand to show Hermione a photo. Hermione gasped, "So cute! What's their name?" She asked. Pansy smiled, "Marline named after my cousin, and she looks cute but im sure she is Satan's spawn." Pansy joked, making Hermione laugh, it was a loud and adorable sound, Pansy was already addicted to it.

"You mentioned you have a cat too?" Pansy asked. Hermione nodded, her hands sliding into the pockets of her dress, "Yeah I do, he's a ragdoll cat named Crookshanks."

"Crookshanks?"

"Don't question it, my mom came up with it years ago." Hermione explained, "She said it was cute and I hated it, but it was the only name he would answer to, so I had to stick with it." Hermione looked at the book in Pansy's hands, "Oh! Was there a reason you came to see me? Need help putting that back?"

Pansy shook her head, "No, I was just wondering if you were aloud to take books home?"

"If you have a library card you can, although it seems like you don't?" Pansy shook her head, "No, how do I get one?"

Hermione pushed the trolley aside, "Oh I can make one for you right now, just follow me back to my desk." Hermione said, taking Pansy's book and gesturing to follow her. So, Pansy did, walking with her to the side of the library where there was another desk where Hermione walked around to the opposite side, turning on a computer at the desk. She began clicking away at the keyboard as she asked, "You don't happen to have ID or your driver's license on you, do you?" Hermione asked.

"Yeah, I do." Pansy pulled her wallet out of her backpack and handed Hermione her ID. Hermione could not help but let her eyes sweep over the details.

Pansy Parkinson. Nineteen years old.

Hermione scanned her ID as she typed into the computer before she brought her hand to the mouse, clicking across the screen before she handed Pansy back her ID, "Done. I'll have it printed in just a moment." Hermione said, "Stay right here, I'll go get it from the printers."

A few moments later she returned, card in hand as she handed it to Pansy. "There's your card. You can use that here at the library for the next twelve months and borrow up to twenty books for free as long as you use that card, you can also take them home if you want to use them there." Hermione explained.

Pansy examined the card, "Thanks." Hermione watched as she put the card into her bag, watching as Pansy licked her lips, her tongue swiping over the spot where her lipstick had faded slightly. Hermione could not help starring at her lips and how smooth they looked, and then up her pale face to her gorgeous eyes that were now shining with the reflection of the bright library lights. Her long lashes fluttered prettily as she casually brought a hand up to tuck a few stray strands of black hair behind her ear.

Pansy looked back up at her to find Hermione flicker her eyes away in what she thought was just in time, but Pansy had seen it. "Is that it then?" Pansy asked. Hermione nodded, "Yeah."

"I should go." Pansy said. For some strange reason Hermione wanted to go with her, or make her stay, she did not want to let this girl leave. Pansy wanted to give Hermione her number, so she could go home and text her right away, she did not want to leave Hermione. But her hungry stomach and hungry cat at home begged to differ.

"I guess you have to go now?" Hermione asked. Pansy nodded, "Yeah, I have to get home and make dinner and stuff, my cat is probably hungry too." Pansy zipped up her backpack.

Hermione fumbled with her hands, cracking her knuckles nervously as she was biting back a question. Although it slipped from her lips as Pansy went to walk again, "When will I see you again?"

Pansy froze, not expecting such a question. She blushed a light pink, She wants to see me again?

"I'll be at the coffee shop tomorrow, doing my shift. Come later in the afternoon, it's quieter then. We can talk for a bit if you'd like?" Pansy asked. Hermione nodded, a small smile on her lips, "Okay, I'll see you then."

Pansy left now, walking towards the door to the library. Hermione broke out in a grin as she jumped up and down, "Yes!"
