Hello readers and thank you for taking the time to read my work. This is my first time writing any sort of fanfiction so any feedback on this would be greatly appreciated. I wouldn't mind taking requests, but I'm my final term of college at the moment, so I might stick with this story first. By the way, if anyone reading this happens to notice any typos or miss-spelled words, then feel free to comment on that to. This story by the way will be told from different perspectives of the characters and I hope that I won't leave any of the important characters out. One thing I should mention, the ships presented in this story are my opinion, so please no hate. Any opinions on ships in this you might agree with though, feel free to comment on that to.

Chapter 1 – Hope's Peak Academy – Ultimate Arrival
(Makoto's POV)
Today is the day. Today's the day I finally head to Hopes Peak Academy. I never thought that I would've been accepted into this school, but I guess luck was on side. I still can't believe I was chosen from the lottery out of all those other people. I wonder what kind of ultimate's I'll meet at the academy? I heard that besides me, there going to be close to 50 different students (At least, that's what was said online). From the rumor mills online, I know that I'll be seeing Ultimate's that are efficient in things from sports to music to even the likes of inventors and so much more.
Thinking about all this stuff has me excited for tomorrow, since for the next 3 years, I'll be living on campus with these people. I just hope I don't run into any trouble while I'm there. Knowing me though, it might just happen since my ultimate luck is often bad more than good in some cases. I was just about to get some sleep when a message appeared on my computer. I walked over to my desk and looked at the screen and saw that one more applicant was chosen to be apart of student body of Hope's Peak. This student was originally on the list for the Reserve Course, but I guess he somehow got in. I wonder to myself "I wonder what this person will be like?" as I continue getting ready for bed. By the time my head hits my pillow, only one thought is running through my head. The thought being "I hope everything goes well tomorrow." and as soon as the thought entered my head, I was asleep.
Usually when I wake up, it's to my alarm clock, but today it was to my little sister Komaru knocking on my door and calling for me to wake up. Still half asleep, I walk to my door and open it to a slightly worried look on my sister's face. "What's wrong sis, I was trying to get few more winks in." I spoke. Her response is what put me from half asleep to full on panic. "Do you know what time it is bro!? It's 9:30 am! The ceremony at Hope's Peak starts in half an hour!" As soon as I heard the time, I was scrambling to get ready. I found out that my alarm clock broke in the middle of the night, causing me to be late, but that wasn't important to me at that moment. I no time I was in the bathroom and the quickest cold shower of my life. As soon as I finished my shower, I got my outfit for the day on, consisting of red sneakers, black pants, my favorite hoodie and my school blazer. I then rushed downstairs to get a quick breakfast, consisting of tea and a muffin and got ready to head to Academy. Luckily my parents had me get my bags ready the night before I left, which 100% saved a ton of time. After saying good bye to my parents and sister, I rushed out the door and started my mad dash to the academy.
Thankfully, the academy was in the Aoyama Itchome district, which was only 20 minutes away from my house. By the time I got to the gate of the school, I was tired and out of breath. I was really counting on my luck not getting any worse and hoped that they didn't start the ceremony early. That wasn't the case the case however, as I found out that I wasn't the only one who seemed to be running a bit behind. Near the gate happened to be a girl with lavender hair and light purple eyes. She looked a bit taller than me, but that could've been due to her purple boots. She was also wearing a white dress shirt and brown tie and over her shirt was a purple blazer and she had a purple skirt to match. The girl was currently drinking from a cup of coffee and she looked a bit tired. I didn't remember hearing about her from any of the rumor mills, but then again, those things weren't always accurate. I looked at my phone and saw that I still had some time before the ceremony, so I decided to talk to the mystery girl.
As I walked up to her, I was thinking of some easy conversation topics. Then again, I also wanted to make sure I didn't take up too much of our time and decided against anything really lengthy. When I finally reached her, I said, "Hi, nice to meet you! My name's Makoto Naegi." At first, I thought she didn't hear me, but before I could say anything else, she responded with "Oh, sorry about that. My name's Kyoko, Kyoko Kirigiri." She spoke simply and had little emotion on her face, but I figured that she might've been a bit nervous about today to. Then again, I highly doubt she had as bad as a morning as I did. Before I could respond, an announcement played over the school's intercom, calling all students to the gym for the ceremony. Kyoko started to walk towards the building and I caught up with her since I had a few things to ask her still.
"So, Kyoko, what is your Ultimate Talent?" I asked. She turned to me and contemplated on telling me or not, but she the responded with "I'm the Ultimate Detective. Why do you ask?" I responded with "Oh I was just curious. I know that Hope's Peak already accepted another Ultimate with that same title and I didn't know if they stacked that stuff or not."
She responded with a small smile and said "It's not uncommon for two or more of the same Ultimate to get accepted here you know. But don't let that worry you Makoto. After all, I all matters on what that particular Ultimate's strengths and weaknesses are. For example, there's another Ultimate Lucky Student attending here as well."
I was bit surprised about that, but after Kyoko's explanation I understood things a bit better. We started talking about other topics like favorite books or any hobbies we might've had and before long we made it to the gym. There were so many other students sitting down in there. Many of them were talking each other while others were either busy working something or using their phones. I was looking for a seat and noticed two unoccupied ones at the back. I asked Kyoko if she would sit next to me and she agreed, but I didn't know if she agreed to it just because there were no other seats available.
Once we were seated, we were greeted by the people who near us. Those people being Aoi Asahina, Sayaka Maizono, Leon Kuwata, Hajime Hinata, Chiaki Nanami, Kaede Akamatsu, and Shuichi Saihara. They all seemed nice enough and even pulled Kyoko and myself into some more conversations before the ceremony began.
The ceremony itself was a bit boring, but I did meet a lot of nice people out it. I pretty much made friends with all of them and I knew that I would definitely make things more interesting around here. But the one thing I was looking forward to most though was talking more with Kyoko, since out of everyone I met today, she seemed to be the most mysterious and the cutest. So began my school life at Hope's Peak, and I was honestly looking forward to what was coming next.

I'm thinking that the next chapter will be about a month after the ceremony and will be told in Kyoko's point of view. I'll also be switching up the point of view for each chapter, as I'm hoping that each one will focus on one or two of the ships listed at the start. Look forward for future updates on this. I'll try and have a new chapter or two up in about 2 weeks going forward. So, look out/forward for that!
