Chapter 20: Fight
And they were safe, until they heard the footsteps coming down the stairs from the royal bedroom. And out of the door, appeared Seiya, wielding a sword. So in advanced, Endymion drew his.
They were trapped.
Serenity watched as both Endymion and Seiya stared at each other. She knew she couldn't speak out loud for fear of distraction. So, she attempted to reach out. But she couldn't reach him, Endymion was focused. There was no way Endymion wouldn't come out of the fight. The senshi were on the other side of the castle, so they couldn't help.
Seiya had cuts on his face and arms from trying and succeeding to enter the castle. And Endymion was at full strength. But they also came from different planets with different training and different skills. So she was startled when Endymion made the first move.
"Mama" small lady whispered as she tugged her mother's arm. Serenity knew it would traumatise the two-year-old if she saw anymore, so she directed her to another room. When she came back, Serenity didn't know what to do, but she could see what was happening very easily. Endymion was winning.
"You. Will Never touch my wife" Endymion growled as he kept his back to serenity. Then from those few words, endymion began to lose his advantage over him. But they could hear footsteps above the roof trying to find the entrance.
Seiya's sword cut into endymion shoulder, drawing blood from it. Endymion hissed but didn't fall and managed to get Seiya back. Endymion had to hold off on killing Seiya for as long as it took Serenity to sneak past Seiya to let the guards in.
Endymion let her in and circled Seiya so Serenity could move, then when she had enough time to move, she ran up the stairs and flicked the lever to open the door. Immediately she ran out and found the guards in her wardrobe before directing them down into the bunker.
She ran as fast as she could down the steps before coming across, Endymion lying on the ground and Seiya's sword ready to strike the spot where her husband's heart was. Serenity gasped and pulled the necklace with her silver crystal off her neck.
Endymion's head turned so it could see the stairs in case his wife came through the doorway, wanting his last thing he saw was the beauty of his wife. Endymion knew he was about to die here, but he wasn't expecting his wife to come down so soon. Then he watched her rip the crystal necklace of her neck and hold it up before a bright, white light Engulfed the room. Then he was engulfed by the darkness.
Serenity held her crystal high in the air and prayed to the moon, knowing that the silver crystal would follow her heart, and right now she just wanted to save her husband. So when she stopped the light and her energy dropped quickly, she saw no Seiya.
She had trapped Seiya in her crystal. The guards came running down and they looked at their queen in confusion. "Take Endymion to the hospital wing" she whispers. "Small lady is in the bathroom, take her to Sailor Venus and Kunzite. I have captured Seiya in my crystal and wont release him until you follow my orders" Serenity says and they nod as four of the men carry Endymion away and two guards open the room and escort the crying two year old. Once they were all gone she released Seiya from her crystal, watching him being arrested and tackled by guards before collapsing.
