Chapter 22: Epilogue

Serenity stood outside the room with a dark aura, knowing that the man who tried to murder her husband was in her, the man who killed her parents to gain power and marry into the silver millennium line. The black, reinforced brick made her feel like someone was about to die, and her face was a morph of coldness.

Serenity didn't resent to killing him. He had killed her father at a young age, before recently turning to her mother to warn her he was coming after him. Then attempted to murder her husband so he could force her at his hand to marry her. Even though Endymion and Serenity shared a bond, he was stupid, trying to rule the universe for power. Not love. Not kindness.

"Usagi" Seiya spoke from across the room. Serenity knew Seiya wouldn't hurt her, but Endymion insisted on fully armed guards. Seiya looked like hell, he was skinnier than last time.

"My name is Serenity, Seiya and you will call me that. My name is only for my close friends and family, not criminals who murder people's parents to try get into the most powerful family in the universe, then immediately attempt to kill her husband." Serenity spoke and Seiya smiled.

"Well then Serenity I guess I was foolish to try" he says with a laugh as he turns back to the wall, tracing the patterns.

"I want you to answer my questions in the most truthful way possible, without hesitation on telling me your thoughts. I want to know" Serenity demands. "and it isn't a question, I'm not asking" she speaks again, straightening her black dress.

"Only if you answer mine in return" he grins as he turns around. Serenity nods. "Your daughter, Small Lady, right?" he asks.

"Princess Usagi Small Lady Serenity to you" Serenity says loudly in a cold tone. Seiya laughs. "Or Princess Serenity" she says again.

"I do know that you are sixteen when you were married. She should be two now, can I meet her?" he asks, and Serenity shakes her head. "And I also should say happy birthday for the other day" Seiya says and Serenity scoffs.

"It wasn't a happy one anyway" she says, and a frown graces his face. "My turn. You wanted to marry me because you wanted power?" Serenity asks.

"Partially, I wanted to marry you for power, but I didn't understand that the silver crystal was only operated by the one in the direct line of the previous owners. So, at the time I thought I could control the silver crystal. Your mother told me before her last breath. So, I planned to take you and control you in a way. Maybe brainwash you if that was possible. Then you mated with Endymion. That foiled my plans even more than normal. But I loved you in a way, not enough apparently" he says and Serenity frowns.

"Why did you kill my mother? She had no reason to do anything against you, the silver crystal was partially in my power when she was alive. You were just giving me more power to defend myself." Serenity says and Seiya nods.

"I realise my mistake" he says and Serenity nods. Serenity turns to leave. "Hopefully, there isn't any trouble for you" he says and Serenity smiles.

"Thank you" she says before leaving.

The next day, Seiya was dressed and escorted to the kingdom's centre where everyone gathered, and on the stage stood Serenity, holding a squirming two year old and Endymion, his eyes trained on Serenity, who's eyes were cold, but not to her husband.

Don't look if you don't want to see, Endymion thinks towards Serenity. She shakes her head and turns Small Lady's into her shoulder as the knife fell.

*Time Skip*

(Prince Endymion)

Time flew away after those days. We each and all had our ups and downs about ruling and our relationship. Small Lady grew up to be a fine lady, like each one who came before her. And before long, she was five years, ten years of age, and then fifteen. She fell in love the wat she wanted to at eighteen.

"Hi mother" Small Lady whispers as she hugs her mother gently, her long brown hair getting in the way of the hug. Serenity noticed the specks of pink just fading.

"Chibi-Usa" Serenity whispers as she locks her daughter into place. "I missed you so much" she whispered again before letting go of her. Helios, her husband came up to me and shook my hand gently.

"Endymion, it's nice to see you again" he says with a formal nod. I smile. Releasing the grip.

"Helios, it's nice to see you again." We had permanently taken up to moving to the moon, for a while, just until Small Lady's coronation, which was today. The new heir to the silver crystal had to live on the moon, since Helios currently came from earth.

Serenity would miss home, and I knew she would but her second home on earth is something else she was happy with. So as we watched Helios and Small Lady walk away up to their room, where they would get dressed for the occasion, Serenity and Myself headed up to ours. When I arrived, shortly after Serenity, I found her on the balcony, looking out at the scenery. "I can't believe she's grown so quickly" Serenity whispers as she holds her abdomen. "It felt like only yesterday I was holding her in my arms as a cute little baby…now she's grown up and married and…pregnant" Serenity starts to cry and I hold her to my chest.

"It's alright Usako. She's just like you, which is good" I laughed. "At least she has my brains" I spoke again for her benefit.

"Yeah…" She whispers and I smile sadly.

"Hey, at least we override the council on marrying someone royal" I laughed and she giggled at that.

"True…That was really funny. I threatened to use the crystal on them" she giggles before looking up at me and leaning up. "We should get dressed before the other two beat us to it" Serenity suggests.

Fifteen minutes later, we were at the bottom of the stairs, Serenity wearing the dress her mother always wore and Myself wearing my formal gear. Small Lady and Helios came down after, Small Lady dressed in royal formal wear from the moon and Helios dressed in Moon formal wear as well.

"Mama" Small Lady whispers as she comes up close to her mother, pulling Serenity in a hug. "I'm scared".

"Chibi-Usa, there's no need to be scared. It's the simplest of things and the moon even isn't that busy with paperwork every day. You'll have the perfect life I intended you to have". Serenity says.

And hours later, Small Lady and Helios had been teleported to the moon, where they were both rulers of the moon, and Small Lady the heir of the silver crystal. Serenity became queen of earth by my side and we lived a long, happy life.

Then Serenity passed, thousands of years later, and as I watched her unmoving body on the bed, I leaned in to kiss her before deciding, I wouldn't be long to follow.

But after comforting Small Lady over the death of her mother. I fell into a long, everlasting peaceful sleep.
