"I love you. And you're all I can think about, my darling. Let's spend the rest of our lives together, just the two of us."

"Yes, Miyabi. I'm so happy."

Alex rubbed the sleep away from her eyes as Tamaki lighted up her room more than the morning sun could have. "Good morning Ale-chan!" Alex sat up in her bed to stretch her arms and back but was tackled back against the bed. "How did you sleep, dear?"

"Uh... pretty good!" She wasn't even lying. His guest bedroom was so lush and comfortable Alex had slept for hours extra every night she'd been there. She knew it wasn't possible, but maybe she'd made good on some of her sleepless nights. A maid followed behind Tamaki and took hold of her jaw to force pills and a glass of water down her mouth. Alex didn't even care; Tamaki fawning over her for the last few days was a miracle.

"Do you think you can come to school tomorrow?"

Ugh, school. That brought an end to her peace of mind. She really shouldn't be missing any more days... sure the place was lenient but that just had to be pushing her luck. "I guess. I'm feeling better..."

"That's great-"

"Master Tamaki, you have another guest." The polite older woman Alex now knew as Shima-san stood regal and rod-straight in the door frame. "Master Sterling, would you like for me to show him here?"

"Who is it?" Alex tried to guess, but literally all of her friends presented as men. As much as Alex was enjoying all this time with Tamaki, she needed to get out. Not to mention, she was starting to remember things, like why Tamaki felt the need to make things up to her.

"Master Kyoya."

"Oh! Yeah sure! Let him in!" She breathed a small sigh of relief and sat up straight in the bed. Tamaki looked a bit sad from losing her attention but smiled when Kyoya entered the room looking as casual as Alex had ever seen him in a sleeveless shirt and black jeans.

He took a seat on an armchair sat next to the bed. "Glad to see you're feeling better, Alex. I thought I could bring you your school work that you've been missing. Haruhi offered to do it all for you, as well as a handful of your classmates, but I thought you might prefer my asking you beforehand."

"Thanks Kyoya, I think I'll just do it myself, I don't want you having to take it anywhere else for me."

"Are you sure you're feeling better, Alex? No quips about if you owe me anymore? No put downs?" The tone of his voice was joking, but he did feel a little worried. She felt different than the last time he'd seen her a few days ago. She was a little more reserved. Her voice, gestures, presence were all a little smaller.

"You want me to put you down, don't you? Pervert." She playfully hit his shoulder.

"Oh thank god," He rubbed his shoulder. "I thought I was going to have to find another vile redhead-"

"What you're gonna have to do is find better jokes, asshole." Alex snorted before looking to Tamaki, wistfully. "Uh... Tamaki? Am I going home tonight?"

Tamaki looked shocked at the question, as if he believed she would never leave. "Tonight?"

"Yeah..." She scratched the back of her neck and looked at the thin stack of papers on Kyoya's lap. "I've got a fair bit of work to do... and I have to shower and and get my clothes ready and clean and..."

"But I can send people to clean, and we can have someone get your clothes and you can stay here and we can tutor you!"

"As fun as all that sounds..." She couldn't meet Tamaki's eyes. "I kinda just need a bit of alone time. I'm not used to being constantly waited on... I need a break for a little while, is that okay?"

Tamaki seemed to accept it. He cleared the room, glancing back for a second, and followed his servents out, leaving Kyoya and Alex alone.

"Have you been doing okay? Tamaki hasn't been too much for you has he? Er, nevermind." He chuckled. "Who am I kidding? How did you survive?"

"I don't know" She sighed and rested her head on his shoulder. "And I remember what I was angry about but I just... I can't seem to find the energy to do anything about it anymore. And... I have this weird feeling."

"What is it?"

"You know, when you don't want to be around like, anyone, but you kinda miss people too? Like, I'm sick of human contact, but I was so happy you came. Or Tamaki just coming home from school kind of saved me from being stuck with myself, even if he bounces around at a million miles a minute while I can't move. And I really miss Haruhi. Like I can't contact her, and it's kinda killing me inside."

"Don't worry," He leaned into Alex and wrapped an arm around her. "We'll see what we can do."

The inside of the Ootori family vehicle was fairly quiet, with simple piano music playing low on the speakers and Alex and Kyoya's playful chit chats. "So how's the club? You keepin' it afloat okay? How have you been survivng without me?"

"We've been doing just fine without you, I'll have you know! I'm distracted much less without you needlessly commenting on everything I do whenever you're bored."

"Maybe so," Alex pouted. "But I bet you were still bored without me."

"Well... you'd be right." The corner of Kyoya's mouth twisted upwards, like he was failing at hiding a smile. "But really, Honey, Mori and the twins have been asking non-stop to come visit you. And the twins started the most viscous prank war on Tamaki. And we began selling copies of your photoshoots, they're even popular with the ladies."

"That's... surprising. But it's nice to know I've been missed! God, it's so boring alone at Tamaki's all day! Why didn't you visit me more?" Alex wiggled in closer and nudged him with her shoulder.

"Tamaki always said you were busy, like getting a checkup at the hospital or catching up on your sleep. I figured today I would take my chances." Kyoya nudged back. "So I wanted to, but I couldn't very well just accuse him of lying, no matter how very obvious it was."

"Aw, poor Kyoya." Alex blushed and broke eye contact with Kyoya. "Mean old Tamaki... h-hogging me the whole time."

They arrived at Alex's apartment in a few more minutes, and Kyoya took it upon himself to carry Alex's overnight bag. Alex welcomed him inside eagerly this time, no awkward waiting at the doorway and anxious, tight conversations. "Make yourself at home, the kitchen has drinks and snacks and stuff if you're craving anything." Alex waved towards the kitchen entryway and headed into her room. Kyoya checked his watch. 17: 11. More than enough time to stay and spend some time with her. From Alex's room he heard her shower start. Quietly, he exited the apartment, leaving the door open so he could get back inside, and collected his book bag from the back seat, and a last minute decision, one of his extra uniforms from the trunk. Before entering the apartment again, he leaned his head throught the passanger window. "You can leave now, and come back by 7:30. If anyone asks, I'm at Tamaki's." The driver nodded and drove away when Kyoya backed away onto the sidewalk again. He watched the car drive down the street and around a corner, then entered the house again. He slipped his uniform into his book bag and pulled out his laptop, typing away a homework and managing the club's website while waiting for Alex to get back out.

Another few minutes and Alex crashed into the couch beside him, head on his shoulder and her legs to her chest. She had her wet hair in pigtails under the base of her ears, a fresh, pink and dewey face, a baggy band shirt, and tight, short shorts on bare, smooth legs. Kyoya's hands tightened around his laptop and he eased back into the couch.

"What are you always doin' on that thing?"

"Working on club expenses, Tamaki is very extravagant after all."

"Ooh! I know you said I wouldn't be hosting, but I can hang out with the hosts and their guests sometimes, right?"

"Yeah... that'd be fine. So long as the guests aren't bothered by it."

"Oohh thank you!" She hugged him from the side and he hid a blush. He tried to think of something to say. Say something cool. You're the cool type for christs' sake! Stop acting like a fool!

"D-Do you really hate being stuck with me that much? I'm shocked, I thought we were friends." Almost. You tried. UNACCEPTABLE.

"I don't! But I'd like to do other things than extra math and errands, you know? It's so much for one person to handle all alone, especially without help. How did you survive without me for so long?"

He smiled down at her as she started playing with his laptop. "I don't know." She was searching up some obscure date in history... "Oh! That reminds me, would you like some help with your homework?"

"Really? Aren't you like a genius or something? Tamaki said you were head of the class for all the years he's known you!" The excited beam of her smile made him blush a little again, so he leaned on his elbow and covered his cheek with that hand.

"I wouldn't call myself a genius, not compared to my brothers-"

"Who cares about your brothers? I'm asking about you!"

"I suppose. Tamaki wasn't lying, after all." Alex was going to ask another strange question so he covered her mouth with his free hand. This, this natural physical contact, and easy teasing the two shared, Kyoya only had this with one other person in all his life. Tamaki. But this was Alex, and with Tamaki being so distracted by Haruhi, it was nice to have her.

By the time they had both fallen asleep, Alex had made Kyoya change into something he could sleep in, which she insisted would be her most ridiculous oversized t-shirt and a pair of her sweats. Kyoya started pestering her that he was hungry after their third pot of tea, so they both walked to the convenience store and he bought them some meat to boil. He ended up cooking after the third slice Alex burned, and plenty of teasing. They were both full and content, and they fell asleep to some strange game show on the local cable channel.

Kyoya woke up around 3 am. He couldn't remember the last time he'd gone to sleep before 3 am. He remembered falling asleep on the couch, next to Alex, but she was now missing. He got up to look around for her, first checking her bedroom and the bathroom until he saw movement outside the window. He padded over in his socks and quietly opened her front door. Alex was sitting on the curb, still in her pajamas, smoking a cigarette.

"I didn't know you smoked."

Alex jumped in surprise and tried to hide the cigarette until she processed what he said. She looked away in embarrassment.

"Sorry if I woke you, I couldn't get out to do it since I've been at Tamaki's. Are you gonna blackmail me now?"

Kyoya smiled and shook his head. He sauntered to the curb next to Alex and sat, arms balanced on his knees and held a hand out to her. "May I?"

A lopsided smile took over her face. "You smoke, Kyoya? Does Mr. Ootori know his son is a degenerate?" She giggled as she passed him her lit cigarette. He took a long drag, eyes locked on the cherry of the cigarette crawling towards him. Wait, isn't this an indirect kiss? Kyoya in surprise, sucked air into his lungs sharply and coughed his head off. Alex started laughing, trying to be quiet but failing terrible. "Never mind! It's not weed you don't need to take such a long toke!"

"I-" He tried to speak in between the coughs. Indirect kiss! Does she know? Does she not know? Does she care? "I wanted to try it. My father and brothers smoke all the time around me, and blow smoke into my face. I figure I should get used to it myself."

"Do you... do anything?"

"I..." He took a long look at her. He already knew so much about her that she didn't even want him to know. It was because of that, that she allowed herself to be so vulnerable with him. He had to give something back, didn't he? It was only fair. "I drink. Sometimes. Not all that often or all that much, but it happens. Mostly alone. I haven't told Tamaki, I'm not sure he would join me unless it was champagne," He took another drag, one smaller and easier to manage."-which is not particularly my drink of choice."

"What is your drink of choice?"

"Whiskey."

"You should share with me sometime." She took back the cigarette. "I haven't had anything to drink in a while, so my tolerance is probably shot to hell."

He nodded and sighed, sucking in the cool night air to soothe himself. "Yeah. That sounds nice."

"It's a plan, then. Next time we hang out we're drinking at your place, alright?"

"Alright."

They both stepped back inside, Alex gathering a spare pillow and blanket for Kyoya to sleep on the couch. "I promise I'll get a spare futon for you next time." He had difficulty falling back asleep, knowing Alex was just in the room over in her pig-tails and short shorts. He did eventually, and woke up to Alex tickling his nose.

"Wake up, dude. We got school today."

Kyoya was in a daze all the way to school and all through the day. He had spent the night at Alex's house and shared an indirect kiss with her, how was he expected to just go on normally? This frame of mind lasted all the way to the club room even. He was sure all of his shots of Alex were blurry. Even if Alex did look adorable in her little classical kimono, with that cute little charm in her hair, he couldn't get over how cute she looked with her hair in two pony tails, in a faded band shirt and cute little pajama shorts. He was tempted to tell someone, maybe Mori, lord knows how many dangerous secrets he knows, or even Tamaki, as he was Kyoya's best friend, but that may just make things go wrong. Haruhi was kind enough to be able to vent to and keep things secret, but-

"You're PHONY!" Kyoya looked away from his point of day-dreaming to see Tamaki freaking out about some new guest. Her shrill voice made his skin crawl. "I find it hard to believe that someone like you is the prince character of this host club! You shouldn't go spreading your love around so easily like that, you stupid! You must be a dim-witted narcissist! You're incompetent! You're a commoner. You're disgusting."

Some french red-headed girl stood in the door way pointing accusingly at Tamaki. She looked... familiar. "Miss, I don't suppose you are..."

He was interupted by her tackling him into a tight and extremely uncomfortable, forced hug. "It's you, Kyoya! Oh, how I longed to meet you. My one and only prince charming!"

"Kyoya senpai-"

"Is your fiance?"

Renge Houshakuji, the strange girl, had found it necessary to sit the club down and explain that Kyoya was hers. Well, everyone but Tamaki, who was sulking because he thought Kyoya knew and was just "keeping a big secret from your bestest friend in the world!"

Alex was watching Tamaki from the couch, uninterested in this alarming news. She always had a good laugh any time Kyoya and Tamaki were refered to as "Mommy and Daddy" or "Husband and Wife".

"Oh this is a story of love at first sight.I couldn't resist the way you were adoring those flowers in the backyard when you thought no one else was looking. And how sweet it was when you reached out to that poor little injured kitten."

This got Alex's attention. She purred in reply."Kyoya? Reaching out to poor injured kittens? Oh do tell me more-"

The twins leaned in front of her by both sides.

"Could you maybe have the wrong person?"

"No way! I could recognize my love anywhere! He's a gentleman who's kind to everyone and doesn't ask for anything in return. He likes solitude, but in fact sometimes he gets lonely. He looks like the star of the popular dating sim, Uki-doki Memorial. You're my real-life Ichijo Miyabi!"

Kyoya finally had something else to say. "I get it now. You're in love with that character. You're projecting the love onto me, and you somehow deluded yourself into thinking that we're engaged." He hoped this could clear things up, for the rest of the club, maybe Alex as well. " I assume this Miyabi character probably wears glasses as well?"

Tamaki came back from his corner, so this seemed to appease him. "So, she made it up. You're not really her fiance, right?"

"Well no, I don't remember ever asking for her hand in marriage. Besides this is the first time I've ever met the woman." His nonchalant tone combined with the deadpan wording of the information, hit the club members harder than a bag of bricks.

Renge didn't seem to care at all however, and continued running her mouth. "According to my research, I understand that you are in charge managing the club. Is that true, Kyoya?"

Honey interjected. "That's right. Kyo-chan is our director!"

Renge just about swooned. "You're the club's director? That's perfect. Oh wow, I've always wanted to wear a sandwich board to advertise a business!"

"We don't advertise, we're just a host club." The twins glared at her from their spot on the couch, Kaoru as always having his arms around Hikaru.

"I've made up my mind. From now on, I'm gonna be the manager of this host club!" While the hosts were rioting across the room, Tamaki tugged on Kyoya's arm. "Um, listen, Kyoya-"

Kyoya chuckled haughtily. "Miss Hoshokuji is the only daughter of a very important Ootori family client. So, please be polite and try not to offend her, all right?"

"Well everyone, I can't wait to work with you!"

Tamaki was vibrant that next day. With a pep in his step he entered the clubroom with a shine in his eye. "I thought about it a lot last night, and maybe having a lady manager isn't such a bad idea!"

The twins were the first to oppose. "Why do you say that?"

"Well, it's fairly obvious, isn't it?" He smirked and winked before having some daydream about them being together. "Renge has just transferred into the same class as Haruhi. And Renge's in love with Kyoya so we don't have to worry about her kissing Haruhi like someone! So, if Haruhi has a girl friend around, it could bring out the female within her. Renge's girlish air of tenderness might be able to stimulate Haruhi's own sense of femininity. Not to mention her only other friends in that class are those shady twins-"

"Look who's talking boss-"

"Hey!" Alex's arms straitened downwards in anger and kicked the floor with her heel. "What am I then? Do I not count? Do I not have any femininity?"

Tamaki rushed to her. He cradled her head in his arms and pressed her face into his chest. "No my beautiful daughter! I promise that isn't it at all! But Haruhi likes you because you are so accepting of her and her tomboy-ish ways and you are so much feminine that upon seeing the two of you from outer eyes one might assume you are a couple-"

"Hey! That isn't it at all!" Haruhi pulled Alex away from him. "Why do you get to determine who I hang around and why I hang around them? That's certainly not why I hang around you Tamaki-Senpai!"

There was an air of awkwardness surrounding the three and the rest of the hosts watching them. "...well. Why do you hang around me, Haruhi?"

Haruhi's expression hardened and her grip around Alex tightened. "I tolerate you to pay for my debt. In fact the next chance that I get to avoid your idiotic actions you can be damn sure I'll take it."

A loud shattering noise and a sobbing, clingy Tamaki later, Renge entered the room. "Hey, everyone. You'd be happy to know that your new manager, Renge has baked all of you some cookies." This seemed to perk Tamaki up yet again.

"Oh, isn't she lady-like? I'm so moved by your generosity!"

Tamaki attempted to reach for one but had his hand hardly slapped away. "I didn't bake these cookies for you, you phony prince." She skipped to Kyoya and pinned a strand of hair behind her ear. "I'm sorry, I burnt them a little bit. I did the best I could. And I already know what you're going to say-"

"Anything that you make for me is going to taste delicious, my dear"

She nearly swooned yet again and held her hand daintily against her forehead. "Oh, you're always so sweet to me, Kyoya!"

While Honey and Mori were being chased by Renge for confirming the cookies were in fact, very burned, Haruhi and Alex found themselves taking a bite of the cookies as well. "They're not that bad at all. They've got a good flavor to them." Before they had both even swallowed their first bite, the twins were on their either side. Hikaru took a bite of the cookie still hanging from her Haruhi's lips and Kaoru licked some crumbs from Alex's cheek.

From their space a little ways away, Tamaki and Kyoya watched the first years in vague disgust and curiosity. Tamaki was fidgiting and spasming while Kyoya singed the ground where he stood.

"Did you see what they just did? He took a bite-"

"And suddenly, the first-years are closer than they've ever been before."

Alex had only laughed and playfully punched Kaoru in the chest, but Haruhi looked slightly agitated. "You know, you could've just told her and I would've wiped it off. And if you wanted to try one, they're plenty here!"

Tamaki ran to Alex and cupped her face in his hands. "That's not the way you're supposed to react, Alex! You have to stay strong and reject them, then casually brush them to the side. Do you understand?"

Haruhi weakly nudged him away with her shoulder. "This is sexual harassment, Senpai!"

The two assumed argumentative postures, both leaning over and with faces directed straight towards each other. "Sexual harassment? If that counts as sexual harassment, then they're twice as guilty! Someone, call the police!"

The twins both smirked and leaned on either of Alex's shoulders. "Cut it out, boss. We're sorry."

Renge watched on from the sidelines, with her fist pressed to her lips in a curious way. She looked down at Honey when he tapped her shoulder. "Renge-chan, Renge-chan, want some? It's milk!" He pointed to his little mug, adororned with a cute cartoon bunny.

"Lukewarm."

"Huh?" Was Honey's reply.

"Every single one of you, except for Kyoya, all of your characters are lukewarm! Each of you needs to have some sort of dark side. You understand? Girls are vulnerable to handsome young men who are troubled. If you keep carrying on like this, it's only a matter of time before the girls get tired of you and stop coming all you trying to ruin my precious Kyoya's business? As your manager, it's my duty to change your character backgrounds."

" Let's start with you!" She pointed to Honey with fear written across his face. "If all you are is cute, inside and out, then you're no different to a baby! Therefore, from now on, you are the baby-faced thug! And Mori senpai, you're his childhood-friend, the flunky." Mori's face changed only with his eyes widening.

Renge moved on to torment the twins. "The twins will be basketball players enslaved in their own world!"

Next was Haruhi. "Haruhi, you're an honor student who's constantly being bullied!"

And Tamaki. "Tamaki, you're the school idol who's admired for your good looks but you actually have an inferiority complex you're hiding from the world: The lonely prince!"

Finally she turned to Alex. "And you! I don't know what your place is here, so don't cross me or you won't get anything!" She mildly shrugged and turned to the sulking Tamaki, rubbing his back consolingly and patting his hair.

"Kyoya!" Renge turned to him with a dreamy expression. "You're perfect just the way you are now! So I want you to stay as kind and affectionate as ever, 'kay?"

He smiled "Thank you, I'm honored." He turned to Alex as he said this, maybe to gloat in some form but only saw her caring for Tamaki.

"The lonely prince. It's true. That title is perfect for me." Tamaki looked devestated, his brilliant blue eyes nearly popping out of the holes between his fingers as his hand covered his face. Alex only cringed.

"Shh. Tamaki no that isn't-"

Haruhi glared and put a hand on Alex's back. "Yeah, right. She couldn't be farther from the truth."

The twins surrounded Kyoya and put their best puppy eyes on. "Come on, Kyoya senpai!"

"You've got to do something!"

He smirked and nodded to Tamaki who was for some reason limping and leaning on the wall away from Alex. "Why? The boss seems to be up for it."

Tamaki tried looking as sullenly as possible, brushing his hair to fall in front of his face and arching his back one way or the other. "How does this look, Renge? Do you think these poses work for a lonely prince?"

"Oh wow, you're pretty good at that, Tamaki!" Renge gushed. "But you know it would be even more effective if you were standing in the rain!" Her fists shook with her excitement. "And Alex!" As always theatric as ever, she pointed across the room to Alex who was in the middle of taking a sip of Honey's milk while he hugged her waist.

"Hmm?"

"I've got just the part for you!"

"Hey! What's your problem, leave him alone!" Alex stands tall between Haruhi and Honey, holding her arms out from her side. "What makes you think you deserve to hurt people?"

Honey smirks. "You know, it really pisses me off when people don't know their place." The two braced into fighting positions. In the midst of tackling Alex, Honey's eyes water and his face softens. "I'm so sorry, Ale-chan! I can't do this any more!"

"Cut! Cut! Cut! Cut! What's wrong with you? You got to stick to the script!"

"But I can't!"

"Stop rolling, cameraman!"

Alex and Haruhi exited the set and were given dry towels and water bottles. Alex took a swig of hers and Haruhi quirked an eyebrow at Renge discussing things with the film crew. They were approached by the twins Kaoru draping an arm around Alex's shoulders and taking her towel to dry his own face. Hikaru just shrugged. "How did we go from changing our characters to shooting a whole movie about them?"

Haruhi nodded and pointed with her water bottle still in hand at a large crate of equipment. "And why is there an entire film crew here to shoot it?"

Kyoya appeared out of no where seemingly again, this time apparating somehow inbetween Kaoru and Alex and effectivly ceasing their physical contact. "Apparently, she flew them in from Hollywood. Don't you recognize the director? He directed the vampire movie, Millennial Snow. It was the No.1 grossing box-office hit in America last year."

Alex and Haruhi glared at Renge and spoke in-sync. "Damn these filthy rich people."

After the third time Honey had broken character, they were given a half hour lunch break, and Alex and Haruhi holed up near the trailors and away from the hustle and bustle of the buffet table. While Haruhi's plate had actual bits of food, Alex only had a few cookies on her plate. "Hey, Alex?"

"Hmm?"

"Is that all you're eating? You said you didn't have any breakfast, and I haven't seen you eat anything else." Haruhi had seen this pattern of not eating anything but something unhealthy and what sort of things could be the cause of it-

"It's fine, really! I just woke up late today, and I don't really have much of an appetite when Renge's around. She's cute I guess but her voice makes my skin crawl..."

Haruhi giggled and brushed a lock of hair behind her ear. Alex let a cookie hang from her lips but stopped from biting down when she heard some commotion going on near the set. This gave Haruhi a very devious idea. As Haruhi closed the distance between her and Alex, she spoke in barely above a whisper. "May I have a bite..?"

A blush graced both their cheeks as their lips just barely brushed. Haruhi chickened out and snapped the cookie away, turning it away and chewing with her shoulders hunched inwards. Alex giggled and put an arm around Haruhi's shoudlder. "What was that for? Did you want another kiss?"

Haruhi blushed more as Alex tilted Haruhi's chin, slowly bringing their faces closer. Their noses just barely bumped into eachother-

"Alex! Haruhi!" They both snapped away from eachother when they heard Tamaki's footsteps. He was drying his hair with a towel. "So how was I? Did you like my performance?"

Alex's attention completely turned and she beamed at Tamaki. "You did great! I'm surprised you were able to get into your character like that. You're a pretty awesome actor!"

"I've discovered a new darker side of myself. I'm stating thinking it might be a good idea to explore it"

Haruhi rolled her eyes and tilted her head in disinterest. Alex waved her hands in a negative response. "Y-You don't have to do that! You're... I think you're perfect the way you are, Tamaki."

Tamaki blushed and let his towel fall over his eyes as he mumbled something incoherently.

Haruhi nodded and whispered to Alex. "If he gets in touch with his darker side, he'll be that much more trouble."

Renge appeared from the corner calling on Alex and Haruhi, so they left Tamaki behind, the kiss left unfinished. "Over here! These two gentlemen have just agreed to make a special appearance in our film" She pointed to two intimidating-looking men with angled eyebrows and frowns.

"In your film?"

"What are you talking about?"

"After all, we're gonna need some tough guys for the big climax!" She raised her hands and pulled them into her chest as fists. "That's when all of the club members come together to fight against the real villains at their school! According to this script, these two are from a wealthy family that got their wealth by being a part of the Japanese Mafia. Don't you think it's a brilliant casting choice?"

"What's with this girl?"

"Whatever my dad does has nothing to do with me!"

"Wait a minute, Renge!" Haruhi tried to grab at Renge and hold her back but she had already grabbed one of the men and pulled him around.

"Just stand here and wait for your cue and-"

"You think you can push me around? You don't even know me!" The man shoved Renge so that she fell backwards, and on impulse, Alex moved behind her to steady her.

"Hey!" The man pushed very hard. And behind them happened to be panes of glass saved for the action shoots that were too dangerous for actors and were to be shot with action doubles. Renge balanced herself on the wall, but Alex fell into the glass and landed on her forearms onto the broken glass on the floor. She whimpered in pain. Blood began to soak through Alex's unifrom and all across her hands. Haruhi screamed and dove at one of the guys and Tamaki appeared soon behind, grabbing the other as soon as he caught sight of the red flowing out of the cuts on Alex's limbs.

Renge was surprisingly almost in tears. "Alex! Are you okay?"

Alex nodded and shuddered as she stood back up. She grabbed Haruhi and Tamaki both by the collar, staining where her hands were red on accident due to the blood. "Both of you stop! Renge started it!" Tamaki immediatly turned and held Alex in a hug, letting her lean against him with all her weight so she didn't have to work so hard about it on her own. The two men had ran as soon as Tamaki and Haruhi let them go.

Haruhi glared at Renge. "That guy was right, Renge! You can't do that! And if you judge people by their appearance you're stereotyping them, and you'll make them get angry and make them or you get hurt!"

"Um... I don't understand what you're trying to say."

Alex turned away from Tamaki's chest as Haruhi approached her.

"Alex, are you okay? I'll... I'll go get medical personel!" Alex watched Haruhi run to the medical trailer, then turned to Renge.

She was blubbering, panicking at the blood. "I-I'm so sorry! I never meant to, I mean, I didn't mean for this-" She stopped when Alex placed her hand on Renge's shoulder.

"Hey, it's ok. I've been through worse. I'm fine. Just..." Renge nodded and leaned closer, wiping tears with her sleeves. "You can't be so dismissive of people based on their apprearence, ok? You assume you know so much about everyone based on a cursory glance, but you're missing out on so much going on inside."

"Heroine..." She looked at Alex in awe before coughing and turning to the camera. "Camera man! P-please tell me you got that!"

Renge stopped when she heard the camera lense crack. They all turned to see Kyoya holding a rock to the camera lense. He had murder in his eyes. "W-Why? Is something wrong, dear?"

"I'm terribly sorry, but I cannot allow there to be any record of a club member engaging in violence. I think you caused enough trouble around here, Renge. Please stop being such a pest."

He walked past her and brushed Alex's hair from her face. "Are you okay? How much pain are you in?"

"I'm okay-"

"A pest? But you're supposed to pat me on the head and told me not to worry! You're supposed to be kind and affectionate, Kyoya! Why are you acting so differently now? Tell me why!"

Tamaki released Alex into Kyoya's care so he could examine her. "Because that's not the real Kyoya."

"Does it really matter?" Haruhi came back with bandages, Kyoya taking them to once again bandage up Alex. "And... Who cares if Kyoya is a little different than you expected him to be? Take a good look at the person inside and get to know him little by little." She smiled and tilted her head. "It's a lot more fun that way."

Long time no see, Renge. Why are you so down? Come on, please smile for me. Today is going to be a beautiful day. After all, today you've learned a very important lesson that will help you live happily ever after. And I'm so glad that you finally understand. I think you're ready to move on to the next level, Renge.

"Tamaki! You looked phenominal in the rain!"

"Ugh! The basketball uniforms on the twins were too good!"

"I couldn't get enough of Haruhi's poignant expressions!"

"The lonely prince was the best!"

"I wish Alex would protect me like that!"

"Kyoya!"

The host club turned to Kyoya as he pushed his glasses higher onto his nose. "I may have broken the camera's lens, but the footage that we had already shot wasn't damaged. Naturally, I did cut out that one violent scene. Sales have been pretty good so far. That Hollywood film crew did a fantastic job. But then I guess that's to be expected. And getting more money into the club's budget is always a plus." Kyoya leaned downward to whisper into Alex's ear. "You did do very well, Alex. I was impressed."

She blushed at this before turning her attention along with the rest of the host club's to Renge, entering the club room again. "Good afternoon, everyone."

Haruhi tilted her head and quirked her eyebrow. "Renge? But I thought you had gone back to France already."

"I can't believe I didn't realize this sooner." She took Alex by the hands. Alex had needed to go the hospital and get several stitches but other than that she would be fine and just had to not exert herself. "Your character is the heroine!"

The whole club tilted their head in ignorance and she smiled and took a deep breath. "The Heroine is the original main character of the Uki-Doki manga series, which the game is based off of! She was a kind, beautiful first year who made all the boys fall in love with her unmatched charm, talent, and selflessness! In the game you're lucky to have two or three of the boys fall in love with you but the heroine in the manga? All seven at the same time for the duration of the series! That's what-" She coughed and shook her head. "And Haruhi! It was so chivalrous of you to risk your life to defend me. I could feel the love when you said it was fun to get to know people little by little. You were talking about me!" Renge grabbed Haruhi's arm and led her away.

Tamaki just about screamed. "Wait no! You can't take my Haruhi!"

"Come on, Haruhi. Let's go to my house and play some games together! I think it's time you got to know me better."

Renge watched Haruhi looking back at Alex as Renge dragged her away. And the way Alex was giggling at the twins her and Tamaki yelling at them for it. And Kyoya's nostalgic watch of Alex as well. She muttered under her breath. "Everyone will love her. That's what will happen here."
