Soooooo You guys want more SU? I thought so! Yo guys Geo here with a surprise update of We Are The Crystal Gems! this time around Red and I have a special for you guys as this is part 1 of a 3 part series that takes place in an AU of epic proportions!
The Gem Homeworld, a large white planet surrounded by rings of darkness, barely visible in the vast empty abyss that surrounded it. At the epicenter of this massive planet lies the gem city, a place where only the most elite and pristine cut gems reside, while the rest are forced to survive on the rest of the world, fighting tooth and nail against one another.
A lone figure wearing a dark cloak was seen flying through the air carrying a box as they were being chased by a fleet of aerial fighters.
'I've got to lose them.' The figure thought before soaring higher and higher, the fleet following on their tail. They looked down and smirked as they spotted a nearby lake. "Perfect!" They said before stopping in place, the fleet speeding past them as the figure zoomed down and nose-dived into the lake.
The air fleet flew over the lake as the figure emerged covered in a massive bubble of water. "Time for some fun!" They said with a grin as they flew after the airships and used the water to slice each of them in half. "We're going down!" One of the pilots shouted as they all crashed into the water
The figure gave a laugh as they flew off into the distance, far away from the crash site as they grew closer and closer to their destination.
*Forest*
The figure landed on the ground and took off their cloak revealing themselves to be a blue gem known as a Lapis Lazuli.
"Finally." She said with a sigh as she walked towards an old, decayed building that nature had begun to reclaim for itself.
She went up to the door and walked inside. "Peridot, I got it!" She called out while holding the box over her head when she heard some noise in the back as a small green gem quickly hurried out. "Took you long enough!" She exclaimed while barely stopping herself from crashing into Lapis.
"So any word from Rhodonite or the Rutile twins?" Lapis asked as she noticed Peridot's frown. "They were captured a few hours ago, apparently the Diamonds set up an ambush and they were taken by commander Jasper." She explained sadly with her eyes looking at her feet.
"Damn it!" Lapis growled as she dropped the box, with Peridot managing to catch it, before slamming her fist into a wall, putting a hole through it.
"More comrades taken from us by those damn Diamonds!" She roared. "We need to stop this once and for all!"
'Worry not old chap, if Peridot's latest invention is anything to go by we'll have those Diamonds groveling at our feet!" A third voice spoke as a short, flying blue gem came over to them with a smile on her face.
"Peridot, what's she talking about?" Lapis questioned curiously with a raised eyebrow.
"Well if you must know before SOMEONE ruined the surprise, I was in the process of creating a weapon that can shatter a Diamond!" She declared proudly while letting out a loud, prominent cackle.
"Keep talking, you've peaked my interest." Lapis told her with a chuckle as curiosity filled her while Peridot started grinning "RUBIES ASSEMBLE!" She screamed as a group of small red gems known as Rubies all ran into the room and slammed into each other.
"...Well better than last time." Peridot said while shaking her head and covering her eyes.
The leader of the Rubies stood at attention. "RUBY ROLE CALL!"
"Doc!"
"Army!"
"Leggy!"
"Navy!"
"Eyeball!"
They each declared one by one as they did a weird super sentai/power ranger/japanese superhero show pose.
"...Okay no more Power Rangers for you." Aquamarine sighed in annoyance as they all fell over, but quickly got back up and gave them a salute.
"...Anyway, Doc, retrieve my latest invention!"
"But sir! The butt scratcher 4000 is incomplete!"
"N-Not that one you clod, the OTHER one!" She screamed with a flustered face
"Oh right the Diamond thing.." Doc said before blowing a horn.
"RUBIES, RETRIEVE THE DIAMOND THINGY!" She screamed like an army general as they all ran in one direction and soon came back with a large metal cart covered by a tarp. "Anyway, behold, my perfect creation!" Peridot exclaimed, removing the tarp and showing off a large metal gauntlet with a massive needle at the tip.
"I call it the Breaking Point!" She declared while laughing maniacally as thunder rang from outside.
"So what does it do?" Lapis asked her while slowly backing away as Peridot started coughing and cleared her throat. "Sorry about that…anyway…" Peridot began. "The Breaking Point is designed to destroy any gem, for example, Rubies, bring in the corrupted gem!" She roared as the five of them ran into a different room, bringing back a chained up corrupted monster
"Observe!" Peridot said as she approached the beast and aimed the Breaking Point towards its forehead, leaving only a centimeter long gap between the device and its gem. Peridot pressed a button on the inside of the device as the needle shot out like a harpoon, tearing through the gem as well as its owner's head as pieces of the gem dropped onto the ground.
"Not bad Peri, but how can you be so sure this thing can shatter a Diamond?" Lapis asked skeptically while crossing her arms.
"Elementary, my dear Lazuli! Now hand me the box!" She told her with an eager grin
Lapis gave a shrug and handed her friend the box as Peridot eagerly tore it open.
"AH HA! IT'S PERFECT!" She shrieked, making them all cover their ears as she pulled out a few small parts and one big part.
"Excellent, I knew raiding Blue Diamonds mailbox was a great idea because I now have enough parts to create a Replicator wand and a destabilizer. If I merge the destabilizer with the Breaking Point, not only will we be able to poof the Diamonds, we can shatter them with our own two hands!" She declared while once again laughing like the mad genius she was.
However her laughter was undercut by the sound of the door slamming open and the sound of someone collapsing. "Who was that?"
"Do we have an intruder?!" The Rubies spoke in a frenzy.
Lapis ran over and saw it was Zircon lying unconscious and battered. "What happened to you?" She questioned worryingly as she noticed Zircon was holding something in her hand.
"L..Lapis I...I'm sorry I….I couldn't protect her.." She said weakly and tried not to cry. "No, please no. Where is she?" Lapis asked as Zircon opened her hand revealing the shattered pieces of their friend's gem.
"…"
"L-Lapis?" Zircon said weakly as she was set down while Lapis started walking outside just as it started to rain.
"I'm going to break each and every single one of them!" She roared in anger as her wings popped out of her back and she flew off.
"LAPIS NO!" Peridot yelled as she vanished from her sight in a matter of seconds.
*Elsewhere*
Lapis kept flying as she began to see a large wall in the distance. "You are all going to pay!" She cried out as she collected the rain drops from the sky and used them to form massive blades of water before using them to slice straight through the wall, turning it into nothing but rubble.
"INTRUDER ALERT! INTRUDER ALERT! THE SOUTH WALL HAS BEEN BREACHED! THE SOUTH WALL HAS BEEN BREACHED!"
Meanwhile deep within the massive Palace, a lone figure was watching everything go down on a large screen.
"Garnet, be a dear and inform commander Jasper that a rogue gem has breached the walls." They spoke calmly.
"Of course." Garner said plainly as she left the room. The figure gave a smirk as a purple gem was shown leaving their crotch area.
"Soooo you really think Jasper can deal with this?"
"Probably not, I'd be surprised if she doesn't end up getting cracked from this." They said with a smile.
*Lapis*
"DIE DIE DIE DIE!" Lapis screeched as she sliced gems left and right, only to be hit by a massive orange ball.
"Well well well. Lookie what we have here." A gruff voice said as she heard a large pair of knuckles popping. She looked up and scowled at the gem in front of her.
"Jasper!" She snarled like a feral animal as the large orange gem equipped her crash helmet and charged Lapis. "You're all going to pay for what you did!" Lapis yelled as she went on the offensive and reformed her water blades, slashing at Jasper who avoided them with each slice as she grabbed one and punched Lapis backwards into the remaining pieces of wall as she managed to turn around and smack into it face-first, sparing her gem from the impact.
"Is that all you got?" Lapis growled while panting as she formed her blades again.
'"Not even close! You're even weaker than that fool Padparacha!" Jasper laughed proudly as Lapis started seeing red and shot at her like a bullet, slicing off her arms and a good chunk of her right leg before grabbing Jasper's head and headbutting it so hard she was poofed. "DIE YOU FUCKING BITCH!" Lapis screamed as her blades turned into a puddle and surrounded the gem, which soon started to crack and crack before eventually breaking entirely as Lapis fell to her knees and let out a pain filled scream of sorrow and anger.
The sound of clapping filled the air as the fallen gems were warped away. "I'm impressed my mother taught you well." Lapis turned around and was greeted by a large pink disk slicing through her abdomen. "But she didn't teach you everything." The voice told her like a stern parent, sounding like they were mocking her and saw her as a disobedient child.
*Later*
'...-pis?...Lapis!...LAPIS WAKE UP!"
"Ugh." She groaned weakly. Lapis slowly sat up and saw Peridot next to her.
"Peri?" She muttered while rubbing her eyes.
"Lapis! I'm so glad you're okay!" She exclaimed happily.
"What happened?" She asked Peridot. "The Diamonds...they found our base." Peridot answered with a frown.
"Where are the others?"
"Who knows? I blacked out just after I finished hiding the BP. I pray they don't find it." She said, muttering the last bit.
"So this is the Riffraff that dares to step foot in the citadel." They heard a stern voice scoff at them as a pearl walked up to their cell. "Pathetic." She snarled while spitting at them.
"Yeah? Well at least we don't look like birds!" Peridot snapped.
"How DARE you?!" Pearl squacked with a look of offense and disgust.
"That's enough, Pearl." A calm voice rang.
"B-Bu-"
"I said enough." Peridot and Lapis noticed a tall red gem standing behind the pearl with huge gauntlets over her hands and a pair of shades over her eyes.
"...Yes Garnet." She sighed in defeat as she walked off in a huff.
'We've gotta get out of here.' Lapis thought as she tried to extend her wings, only to be met with a powerful shock that coursed through her body that made her scream in pain.
"Your bodies have been outfitted by the latest from Yellow Diamond industries" Garnet said in a blunt tone as Lapis twitched on the ground violently as Garnet opened the cell and picked them both up, carrying them over her shoulders.
"Let us go, yo-you clod!" Peridot screamed while thrashing about fruitlessly.
*Elsewhere*
Garnet brought the two of them into a large throne room while dropping them both on the floor before bowing.
"My Diamond, I have brought the two rebels as per your instructions"
"Good, Garnet, good."
A somewhat deep voice spoke as a…boy…with a small mini afro, wearing pink armor with a golden star emblem on the chestplate and pink colored eyes with diamond shaped pupils hopped off the throne.
"…"
"Pardon me, where are my manners? My name is Steven, and I'm afraid you two ladies have just entered Hell." He said in a warm tone and smile.
Well...that happened didn't it? so anyway next time things get crazy
