Tris:

Christina runs up to me, and I hug her. It's been a day since Mom and I evacuated and I haven't seen Four yet. I heard from rumours that Marcus is dead, and I can only pray to Artemis that Four isn't. "I missed you," I say to Chris and she chuckles. We pull apart, and she pats my shoulder. I see Will, Marlene, and another girl. She looks a lot like both of them, with her celery green eyes and blonde hair. Christina follows my eyes, and smiles at the sight of Will and the two girls. "The older girl is named Cara, she's his older sister," Chris looks at me, and smiles. "Where's your boyfriend?" She asks. I know it was meant to be a tease, but I feel a sharp stab of guilt in my chest. I shake my head, and Christina wraps her arms around me once more. "I don't know, he could be dead!" I cry, and Chris hushes me. "I have to look for him, I have to," Christina drags me away to her dormitory, and I sigh. "We could get Will to trace him, it's risky but..." she fades off. She and Will are good friends. No, scratch that: They're great friends, and I don't want Will sacrificing his privacy for my selfish needs. I shake my head. "That's selfish," I look at my feet. "I guess I've just got to pray to Artemis," we both chuckle, and I head back to my apartment to sleep.

Four:

My legs fail me, as I stop to lean against on a building wall. I afford can't stop, as Evelyn might catch up to me at one point. I hear a cough and I look up. There is a man, shivering, and I give him my jacket. He cowers away from me, and I smile sadly at him. "I'm not going to hurt you," I insist. I notice the homeless person is barely 16, with his sunken cheeks and heavy eye bags. He looks nineteen, due to the hardness of his face. He nods, and looks at my callused hands, and looks back up at me. "W-what's y-y-y-your name?" He asks me within chattering teeth, and he's shivering. I chuckle slightly, and look around, and he frowns at me. "In case you're wondering, I'm Thomas," he gives me a small smile, and I bit my lip. "My name's Tobias," I extend my hand, and he shakes it. I realize I didn't use my nickname and frankly, I don't care. I will probably never see him again. "There he is," I look at Evelyn's humans, and I scowl. I sigh, and give a quick goodbye to Thomas, before sprinting. Thomas shouts at me, and he turns into a wolf. He's a wolf too.

We run together and I get shot on my leg. My legs stop and collapse.

"Thomas!"
