Chapter 10
Pansy POV
Finally the day has come. The first task of the Triwizard Tournament! After the demigod incident the so-called 'Golden Trio' has stayed out of our hair.
If they tried anything I would bring the full force of a Daughter of Nemesis down upon them! Fairness and balance were what kept the world together. And in the name of my mother I would protect that balance with all of my being!
"WELCOME LADIES AND GENTLEMEN TO THE FIRST TASK OF THE TRIWIZARD TOURNAMENT!" Can I just say that I hate Ludo Bagman? He's such an IDIOT!
"CAN OUR THREE CHAMPIONS PLEASE REPORT TO THE TENT BY THE QUIDDITCH FIELD FOR A BRIEFING BEFORE THE GAME!" Will that guy just shut up!
"Good luck!" Lavender gave her brother one last hug.
The three champions turned to each other and smirked. "All's fair in love and demigod games." Cedric remarked."
And demigods play to win." Vicktor finished the quote. (Not an actual quote from the books or anything just thought that it'd be cool to call it that.)
"Yes. Now let's go make jerks who we call parents proud!" Fleur rubbed her charm bracelet which held the sign of Bellona.
The games were fun to watch. All three champions used a combination of Wizard and Demigod fighting styles, but thanks to Hecate actively manipulating the mist for them all the blind mortals saw were spells.
After the game Cedric came back with a fake Golden Dragon Egg. "Whatcha supposed to do with that?" Dennis asked, jumping up and down to try to see it. He was really short.
"Dunno…" Cedric shook his head. "Imma go pray to Aphrodite. See if mom can help, even if she can she probably won't, but worth a shot anyway."
I shook my head. Cedric was such a great guy and had never done anything wrong in his life. I'm not being corny, I'm a Daughter of Nemesis guys. I can sense others' karma. I'm sure my mom would reward him.
I can't wait for tonight, me, Colin, Lavender, Percy, Frank, and Piper were on security duty!
I might have a bit of a fangirl crush on Percy… DON'T JUDGE ME, YOU ALL DO TO, DON'T DENY IT!
But seriously I'd never mess with Annabeth though…
