Chapter 12

Fleur POV

It was two days until the Second Task and neither I, Cedric, or Vicktor could figure out the challenge.

I had been walking in the Forbidden Forest with the rest of the Demigods of Hogwarts. Yes, it was 'Forbidden'... to mortal children. It was - according to Cedric - a favorite hangout among the demigods.

"Ahhh… It's been a while, but this place still feels like home." Seamus put his hands behind his head, and leaned up against a tree.

"You see, we had to stop sneaking in here because it was too risky with everyone from the three schools being here." Lavender commented, checking her reflection in her hand held mirror.

"But with everyone at the quidditch match today, we can sneak in here without having to worry about getting caught." Draco sighed, not looking up from where he was sharpening his knives.

"Gryffindor versus Ravenclaw, I believe." Marcus grabbed onto a low hanging branch, and pulled himself into one of the trees.

Fleur hadn't been paying attention on the way over here, and just realized that Cho, Oliver, Angelina, Katie, and Alicia were missing.

"That tree clearly isn't stable, idiot, get down from there." Pansy rolled her eyes.

Marcus climbed higher into the tree, and smirked. Children of Ares were so immature! And with that thought I glanced at Vicktor. He was a Son of Mars, but, same thing.

"Hey guys!" Everyone turned to Colin. "Do you remember the Mystic Oasis?"

"Mystic Oasis?" I asked. "What's that?"

Dennis jumped up and down excitedly. "It was a cool spot deep in the forest we found a few years ago! It had this HUGE lake, and a lot of fallen trees to climb! There were Unicorns, and Thestrals, and Centaurs!"

"There was also a big clearing where we could spar in." Terry added.

"And a stone slab with the words 'Halfbloods Forever' in ancient greek on it. Either that was a secret meeting spot for Wizard with muggle, and wizarding parent. OR a more likely scenario since it's so cool, that it was an ancient training ground for Wizarding Demigods." Luna explained, getting up from the ground.

"Do you think we could try to find it?" Vicktor asked.

Cedric rolled his eyes. "What if the game ends early? Or someone realizes we're gone?"

Seamus snapped his fingers. "There, problem solved. Now there are projections of us with our respective groups, now let's GO!"

"But what if-" Cedric was cut off by Lavender grabbing him by the hood of his sweatshirt, and dragging him into the forest.

"You are one worrisome Son of Aphrodite." Dean sighed.

"You know Cedric's gotta point." Neville whispered.

Pansy turned around, and pointed her spear at him. "You're always welcome to stay ALONE in the DARK FOREST with DANGEROUS ANIMALS that probably want to TEAR YOU LIMB FROM LIMB! You know, your choice." Then she started to walk in the direction of the rest of the group. Running the catch up with them.

Neville paled, and ran after her.
