Challenge Dunes: Day 12

Survivors: Phoenix Wright - Papyrus - Luigi - Meta Knight - Little Mac - Princess Peach - Tails - Spy - Waluigi - Kirby - King K. Rool - Engineer - ROB - Jotaro Kujo - Samus Aran.

As Peach had predicted the day before, this day was a lot cooler than the last. It almost felt chilly compared to the usual hot weather the survivors experienced, and this weather would prove to be a lot better for the energy and endurance of the tribes.

Speaking of tribes, many survivors found it slightly odd to be competing against not one, but TWO enemy teams. Some survivors continued to speculate in their heads what the challenge would be like with three teams, and they came to the conclusion that they would probably be somewhat similar to old challenges, just balanced to fit the inclusion of a third team.

Just as all of them arrived and lined up, Alexa himself had arrived in the usual green jeep he drove around. The sight of him being able to just drive to the locations instead of taking a cramp, dangerous pipe, or having to do a long walk made some survivors envious.

"Alrighty survivors! Just by looking at your faces, I can tell that you are begging to hear the answers to some of your questions!" He observed, slamming the door of his jeep shut as he approached them. "And I bet all of them have something to do with the introduction of a third team!"

Some survivors nodded, some continued staring at him, awaiting the answers.

"Well, to start things off..." Alexa pointed to the Laudable Leaves. "Welcome to your first challenge, Leaves! This will be your first test of skill, and even if the tribe is just a Frankenstein of the other two tribes, it'll still be an interesting experiment to see how you do! Now, all challenges from this point will involve all three teams. The tribe that manages to win the entire challenge will receive immunity as well as today's prize! The tribe that gets second place, however, will... also receive immunity, though their placement will result in them not receiving the same luxurious prize that first place will receive. Finally, last place will receive a special trip to Tribal Council, where they will vote for somebody to vote off! That's simple enough, right?"

The survivors nodded their heads. Some were mildly surprised over how second place got off scot-free, though many others had assumed it would be the case.

"As suspected. Otherwise, this twist would have lasted less than a week." - ROB.

He then moved on. "Great! Now, onto the challenge itself:"

*The first challenge featuring the three teams will take place on a small triangle-shaped platform. On each vertex of this platform, a survivor from each team will occupy that spot. These survivors will be given equipment consisting of boxing gloves, and a specially modified head guard for every survivor's head shape. These boxing gloves are a little softer than the real deal, because the goal of this challenge is not to knock out your opponent, but to knock them off of this triangular platform using the art of boxing!

When one survivor remains on the platform, the tribe the survivor is on will receive one point, whilst the two losers will receive nothing. There will be five whole rounds, and the survivors that participate will rotate in each one, so everyone will get a go! By the end of these five rounds, the team with the most points will win, and the team with the least amount of points will lose. If there are any ties between the three teams, then one member will be chosen from each team by the members themselves to participate in a tie-breaker round. However, the people who participate in the main rounds of this challenge will be selected at random.

And, what's a challenge without some ground rules? Listen up:

- All contact must come from the gloves, so body-slamming or any other weird maneuver you have in mind won't work!

- Removing your gloves or head guard is not allowed, and doing it to others is CERTAINLY not allowed.

- If you are knocked off of the platform, you are out. Your ability to get back on via flying will not matter.

- Please avoid killing your competition, if possible.

The prize for this round is a complete mystery, and to repeat, only first place can receive it! No second bananas or losers will be given the luxury. Now, let's get this show on the road!*

After his hefty explanation, Alexa held silence for the next few seconds, recollecting himself. After this was done, he began prepping the five main rounds of the challenge...

First, he called his staff to bring out the platform. Much like the ones they encountered in prior challenges, this platform was floating mysteriously in the air. Its appearance was simple: a yellow and white checkered triangle-shaped platform with smoothed out edges. The size was big enough to have three people and a decent amount of walking space, but it certainly wasn't as roomy as they were expecting.

After this, more staff brought out the equipment. The survivors who had oddly shaped heads or hands luckily had specially made equipment for them, though they were a minority anyway.

"Oh man, this challenge was MADE for me! A chance to show my raw boxing skill and talent in a small arena where I get to knock people off! I still can't underestimate these people, however, especially if I'm pitted against the likes of Jotaro or one of the heavyweights, but if both of my foes are on the regular or weak side, then this will be an easy, almost boring win for the champion of boxing!" - Little Mac.

When everyone equipped the headgear and boxing gloves, Alexa shot an announcement at them.

"Good news!" He said. "The five rounds have been randomly generated already!"

"That was quick, what'd you use to do it?" Asked Tails.

Alexa's face suddenly became flushed as he secretly tucked away his phone. "Well, obviously a professional way of randomizing all of the survivors, and definitely not a random app on my phone or anything..."

"Judging by his expression and tone of voice, it seems he used a random app on his phone to randomize the survivors," commented ROB, not loud enough for Alexa to hear him.

As people began acting suspicious, the host became hell-bent on moving on from the fox's interrogation. "It doesn't matter! Anyway, here are the five rounds:"

ROUND 1: Little Mac vs Papyrus vs Jotaro Kujo.

ROUND 2: Waluigi vs Princess Peach vs Luigi.

ROUND 3: Kirby vs King K. Rool vs Phoenix Wright.

ROUND 4: Engineer vs Samus Aran vs ROB.

ROUND 5: Tails vs Meta Knight vs Spy.

"O-oh no..." Little Mac gulped.

"OOOH NOOOOO!" Papyrus screamed with anguish.

As the two of them were dreading fighting Jotaro, Waluigi glared towards Luigi, pulling a mean grin. "Get ready to be-a crushed, loser!"

"O-okay..." He accepted.

Meanwhile, K Rool looked towards Kirby, remembering Meta Knight's warning yesterday. "He can't be THAT powerful, right? He's just a little pink marshmallow! He could probably fit in my mouth!" He murmured to himself.

"Poyo!" Kirby smiled.

"I don't want to punch the likes of you..." Phoenix pouted at Kirby, before turning to K Rool. "A-and especially not you, either."

The crocodile smiled at the lawyer's fear, getting more confidence over his chances of winning his respective round.

"Well, up against the robot yet again," remarked the Engineer. "And Samus too? Looks like I got two rivals!"

As ROB gave a small beep with confusion, Samus shook her head. "We aren't rivals, I'm just going to get payback for what you told your team about me."

"Darn, looks like she's angry about me tellin' Super Shrooms that she received the Koopa Sphinx idol a while ago. Almost forgot about that until I saw that piercin' glare of hers." - Engineer.

Lastly, the final trio of Round 5 looked at one another, Tails intimidated by Meta Knight and Spy's scornful stares. The fox hoped that they wouldn't team up on him, as they used to be on the same tribe.

"Alright, we'll start with the first round!" Announced Alexa, interrupting all ongoing conversations. "The platform will naturally lower, and every survivor will stand on one of the corners. The platform will then raise back to base height, and I'll start the challenge at my call!"

ROUND 1: Little Mac vs Papyrus vs Jotaro Kujo.

Little Mac and Jotaro hopped onto the lowered platform as Papyrus awkwardly climbed on. Once on, they each went to a random corner as the platform began raising.

It was obvious that Mac and Jotaro considered each other a threat, evident by their angry, determined expressions. Little Mac was especially concerned about the unknown limits of Star Platinum, if there were ANY limits...

Papyrus caught wind of the hostile stares, and decided to break it up with some positivity. "HEY, LET'S ALL REMEMBER THAT THIS IS JUST A FUN GAME, RIGHT?! MAYBE YOU CAN BOTH RELAX YOUR FACES A LITTLE TOO, BECAUSE I HEARD THAT HUMANS HOLDING THE SAME FACIAL EXPRESSION CAN CAUSE SOME UNCOMFORTABLE PAIN!"

His words proved useless; Little Mac and Jotaro continued staring.

"I-I SEE," he hung his head, before punching his gloves together. "LOOKS LIKE I'LL HAVE TO FORCE YOU TO RELAX THROUGH THE ART OF THIS PUNCHING SPORT!"

"Relaxing through fighting? Sounds contradictory..." Phoenix rubbed his chin, watching the round from afar. "Though maybe yelling objection would be a little pointless..."

Alexa began counting down. "Three..."

All of them hunched over, fists in front of their faces.

"Two..."

"One... GO!" He yelled.

Papyrus ran up to Little Mac, giving out a warcry. "TASTE THE MIGHT OF THE GREAT PAPYRUS, MAC!"

As he launched his fist towards him, the boxer immediately side-stepped and slammed his glove into the skeleton's back, causing him to fly off the platform.

"GAAAAAAAH'CK!" Cried Papyrus as he plummeted into the sand.

"ONLY JOTARO AND LITTLE MAC REMAIN!" Announced Alexa.

Little Mac's immediate KO gave him a cocky grin, though he jumped back, awaiting Jotaro's next movement.

The marine biologist strolled towards him silently and suddenly, making him nervous.

"Y-you're approaching me, eh?" He queried, his teeth audibly chattering.

"I can't knock you off without getting any closer..." He explained, drifting closer with every step.

Eventually, he was a few feet away from Little Mac, and the boxer waited for him to call out Star Platinum's name.

"Clearing out this kid would be easier if I wasn't afraid to use my most powerful trick this early into the season." - Jotaro Kujo.

"I-if you're going to p-p-punch me with that stand of yours, just remember that you can't attack me with it! All contact must come from the gloves, r-remember?!" Little Mac reminded.

Jotaro nodded, calling out his stand anyway. "STAR PLATINUM!"

Whilst he was invisible to Little Mac, all color drained from his body, and he felt light and weak. Regardless, he wouldn't lose to the tension alone, he would have to show dominance over Jotaro to prove himself!

Suddenly, Jotaro's gloves disappeared off of him, though they began floating in mid-air. Star Platinum was now holding his gloves as he folded his arms.

"Wait, that's-a cheating!" Waluigi yelled. "Don't you know the rules?! You cannot remove your gloves! YOU-A LOSE, WAHAHAHAAAA!"

As he cackled, he wagged his finger slowly. "Not exactly."

"W-wah?!" His eyes widened.

"Star Platinum is my stand: a manifestation of my fighting spirit. If my stand is hurt, then I am hurt. So, technically speaking, I haven't taken off my gloves..."

"NO WAY!" Cried Waluigi.

Alexa grinned. "Can't argue with that logic! Good luck Mac."

Little Mac was quivering at this point, though he knew that he couldn't back down. "I can see your stand through those gloves; I can take you on!"

He waited, and waited, as both of them stood there, waiting for one of them to strike first.

Eventually, however...

"ORAAAA!" Star Platinum roared as it delivered an uppercut.

However, due to the slight movement Jotaro made before the strike, Little Mac evaded it barely, returning to position and delivering four jabs to Jotaro's stomach, knocking the stand user back.

"H-he's doing it!" Tails pointed. "He's beating him!"

Jotaro placed a hand over his stomach as he fixed his hat, his eyes no longer visible to Little Mac, who had more adrenaline pumping through him than ever.

The next move Star Platinum threw out was a hook that would cover all of Little Mac's side-steps, though unfortunately for the stand and its user, Little Mac had ducked underneath it, delivering a nasty uppercut to Jotaro, right in his head guard.

He stumbled back a bit more, a few more punishes would knock him off the platform if all went to plan.

"You're fast," he commented. "Admirably fast."

"Thanks, big guy!" He smiled. "If you train enough, maybe you'll get to this strength without having to use that dumb ghost of your-"

Before Little Mac could finish the smug mockery, Star Platinum sent out of a flurry of punches, catching Little Mac off guard.

Though in the nick of time, he placed his boxing gloves to his chest in an attempt to absorb the punches.

"ORARARARARARA!" The stand cried, punching faster and faster as Little Mac attempted to absorb each punch, though, with each punch, his positioning and endurance shrank. "ORRRAAAAA!"

With one final jab to the boxer, Little Mac's defense broke, and his hands flew backward as he fell into a daze, teetering at the edge of the triangle.

Jotaro put away Star Platinum as his gloves returned to his hands, and he walked over to the dizzy boxer.

"W-wait!" Little Mac begged as Jotaro delivered one final punch to his chest, knocking him off the platform.

"JOTARO WINS THE FIRST POINT FOR THE LAUDABLE LEAVES!" Announced Alexa.

Laudable Leaves cheered for Jotaro, who hopped off the platform as it lowered. Little Mac and Papyrus were both exhausted beyond comprehension from the fight.

Alexa clapped. "What an amazing start! Now, let's move on to the second round!"

ROUND 2: Waluigi vs Princess Peach vs Luigi.

All three of them hopped onto the platform as it began rising. Peach happily waved to Luigi, who was absorbing Waluigi's dastardly gaze.

"It's over for-a you!" He smirked. "And you too, little girl!"

Peach rolled her eyes, ignoring his rude behavior. "Good luck to you both. Let this be a fair fight!"

"Err, you too, princess!" Luigi smiled nervously, realizing that he had to beat up someone he and his brother saves time and time again. It was awkward, but at least she didn't feel too bad for it herself, so Luigi felt confident in that regard.

Alexa began counting down. "Three..."

Waluigi exaggerated his movements, raising and lowering his gloves with hostility as Luigi weakly rose them to his face, Peach doing the same with more confidence.

"Two..."

"One... GO!"

The villain dashed towards Luigi, thinking about the despair he felt yesterday. He was always the shadow of Luigi, someone who was considered a shadow by many. This would change, however, as Waluigi would no longer become the shadow of a shadow if he managed to defeat his rival!

"TAKE-A THIS!" He lunged forward, gloves first.

When he did so, Luigi jumped over and behind him, delivering a clean hook to his side.

"WAAAAAAH!" Waluigi cried, spinning around and striking Luigi in his head guard. "Nobody hurts Waluigi and-a gets away with it!"

He sent out another jab, which Luigi immediately blocked. Waluigi grew angrier and angrier as he threw more punches, each one resulting in a miss or a block by the patient plumber in green.

Eventually, he got so angry he used all of his energy into one jab for Luigi to block, hoping that it would break his defense. As this happened, however, it was simply dodged by him, resulting in a tired Waluigi.

Luigi delivered a few strikes to him, making sure not to be too cruel with the attacks before hitting him to the edge.

"OH NO, HELP-A ME!" He cried yet again, balancing on the edge.

Before Luigi could land the finishing blow...

"TAKE THIS!"

Peach jumped in front of the plumber, delivering a series of blows to Waluigi's midsection before finishing him off with a two-part slap with her gloves, causing him to fall off.

"Little girl?" She repeated, looking down at the dazed man in purple. She then turned around to face Luigi, realizing she was in a disadvantaged state.

"Err, hello again, princess..." His words slowly transformed into murmurs.

"Sorry, Luigi..." She sighed.

The plumber raised an eyebrow. "Huh? What-a for-"

A clean hook collided with his head guard, causing him to spin around as Peach shoved him off the edge using her gloves.

"PRINCESS PEACH WINS THE SECOND ROUND AND THE FIRST POINT FOR THE POWER FLOWERS!" Declared Alexa, clapping. "This is so action-packed!"

"I heard that Peach saved Mario and Luigi before, so this isn't too surprising..." Tails told the others.

As she slowly hovered down with majesty in her movements, she turned to the bitter Waluigi. "Aww, did I win?" She taunted, causing him to have his eyes nearly burst of his sockets with embarrassment, surprise, and most importantly, impeccable fury.

"Damn, that's enough sass to turn any mood sour," observed Engineer.

"So far, Super Shrooms has yet to score a single point! Will this change in the third round? Let's find out!" Alexa wrung his hands.

ROUND 3: Kirby vs King K. Rool vs Phoenix Wright.

As K Rool and Phoenix simply climbed or hopped aboard the platform, Kirby puffed himself up and floated up and on to the platform, his usual cute stare was replaced with a determined, angry gaze, though it still came off as cute to his two competitors.

"I don't feel too good about punching the likes of Kirby..." Phoenix thought. "Should I just go for K Rool first? I know I'm definitely not going to beat him, so losing to him instead of beating Kirby THEN losing to him would make me look better to everyone else."

Whilst the lawyer had his dilemma, the Kremling King eyed the creature. "So, you're Kirby, eh?"

"Poyo..." Kirby nodded, attempting to look intimidating.

"You're certainly going to be more than a simple mosquito in this fight," he said, cracking his claws. "And I won't be holding back!"

The pink puffball was certainly scared of sparring such a scary foe, though he hoped that K Rool would be easier than the likes of Dedede: another large, pompous animal king that was hellbent on stealing food.

After the tension-filled interaction came to an end, Alexa decided to begin his count-down. "Three..."

K Rool cracked his neck and smoothed out his joints. He was definitely familiar with boxing, and his tactics could easily defeat both of his competition.

"Two..."

Kirby looked below him to see his team, giving a friendly wave over to them.

"I hope he doesn't get hurt. I'm not sure if he's fit for boxing!" Worried Little Mac.

"One... GO!" Yelled Alexa.

Immediately, Phoenix ran up to K Rool whilst he was fixated on Kirby, delivering a powerful blow to his stomach and immediately knocking him off of the platform, causing the crowd to cheer with gusto. At least, that's what he hoped would happen.

In reality, when he delivered the "powerful" blow to the crocodile's stomach, his fingers immediately swelled up, glowing red. Whilst this wasn't visible due to the gloves he was wearing, his face had said it all. Phoenix had punched K Rool in his belly armor.

"Fool!" He cackled. "One opportunity to knock me into a disadvantaged state, and you waste it by hitting my belly armor?! Gwahahahaha! Puny humans like you are no different than those filthy ape-brains."

During his taunts, Phoenix mustered up all of the courage to use his non-dominant right hand, which hadn't been rendered useless by the belly armor. He sent a clean hook to K Rool's head guard, knocking the tyrant back by a full step.

"Interrupting me whilst I'm talking, eh?" His eyes began twitching. "You'll regret that!"

Phoenix took a few steps backward, pulling a nervous grin in an attempt to calm K Rool down, but instead, the nervous grin came off as smug, causing the king to get even angrier.

He delivered a semi-quick jab to Phoenix's stomach, using only a small amount of power to do so. Even with this minimized effort, it was still enough to send Phoenix keeling over and tumbling off the platform, leaving him and Kirby.

K Rool shot a toothy grin at Kirby. "I forgot how fun it is to smash weaklings to a pulp! Now, allow me to find out if you even deserve to be in such a competition, you sentient stress-toy!"

Whilst the intimidation of the towering figure would have sent anyone pale, Kirby instead took a step forward, his determined facial expression slightly angrier than before, especially upon hearing that K Rool enjoyed hurting Phoenix. The lawyer was once on Kirby's team, and so, by his logic, a friend.

The step forward was enough to intimidate the crocodile himself, and he rose his guard.

After a moment of waiting, K Rool didn't want to risk looking cowardly by not fighting Kirby, causing him to blindly dash at him with the hopes of getting a hit in.

As he launched said attack: a powerful hook from his right claw, Kirby ran up and slid underneath him, between his legs, before springing up and delivering several small, weak blows with his gloves to K Rool's back.

"So, this is the extent of your power?" He mocked. "Little, baby punch-"

After the small blows, Kirby launched one last blow using his gloves, lunging forward for the attack and causing K Rool to stumble back towards the ledge.

"Y-you rodent!" He hissed. "You only took me off guard, that's nowhere near enough strength to knock me off!"

In retaliation and partial rage, K Rool did the exact same dash attack as before, which yet again had failed, due to Kirby's experience with the attack as well as his fast reaction speed.

After absorbing more blows, K Rool's body was beginning to ache, which made recovering from Kirby's final, powerful punch a lot more tiresome.

This pattern of throwing blind, repetitive punches and being punished for them continued, K Rool not grasping the concept of his mistakes.

Eventually, when Kirby delivered a final punch, K Rool toppled over from the pain. His position was half-sitting, half-lying.

"GET BACK UP!" Ordered Papyrus.

"My whole body aches... how can the likes of a marshmallow do that to me?!" He groaned. "If only I was allowed my crown, or my blunderbuss, or anything of worth other than these pathetic boxing gloves! Then you'd be dead where you stand!"

As he whined, Kirby approached him and grabbed him with both of his gloves.

"W-what are you doing?! Get off me you-"

Before K Rool could process anything else, Kirby punched him as hard as he could, sending the crocodile flying off of the platform and plummeting to his demise.

"KIRBY WINS THE MATCH, WHICH TIES SUPER SHROOMS WITH THE OTHER TWO TRIBES!" Announced Alexa. "What an awesome, yet admittedly repetitive fight!"

"That's odd... he usually can't pull off such throws and punch flurries without a copy ability..." Meta Knight murmured to himself, watching Kirby as he did a small victory dance on the lowering platform.

Whilst he was being cheered for by the Super Shrooms tribe, Kirby removed his head guard and gloves, and to their surprise - and especially Meta Knight's - a red headband was wrapped around Kirby's head.

"Where'd you get that headband from, Kirby?" Asked Tails.

"Poyo!" He said in response.

"That doesn't answer the question, but it's not like it matters much anyway." The fox gave him a sturdy thumbs-up. "All that matters right now is you, because you won us that round!"

Alexa then raised an eyebrow. "Hang on, we're one pair of gloves short. Are there any survivors here that have participated in a round that hasn't given me their gloves yet?"

Meta Knight glared at Kirby. "Looks like he's beginning to use his copy abilities to his advantage."

"I see..." Samus nodded. "He really is a threat after all, though I think a bigger threat to our chances of winning would be K Rool's ability to fight."

"H-hey!" He barked. "It's not my fault he kept dodging by best attack over and over again!"

Upon receiving no answer, Alexa backed down. "Very well... looks like I'll have to make a very messy phonecall to the guy who let me borrow this equipment. Though, that's for later, and right now, we got a fourth and fifth round to watch!"

ROUND 4: Engineer vs Samus Aran vs ROB.

ROB gently hovered onto the platform as Samus hopped on, Engineer casually climbing up. He occasionally looked to Samus to see if her deadly cold gaze was directed at him, but for the most part, she seemed to be fixed on ROB, who had incredibly odd-shaped boxing gloves to fit his "arms".

The stakes appeared to be higher than the last three rounds. All three teams had at least one win, and whichever won this round would be guaranteed for either a first or second place spot, depending on whether they win Round 5, lose Round 5 and win the tie-breaker, or lose Round 5 as well as the tie-breaker.

"Good luck to y'all!" Engineer called out, attempting to bring sportsmanship onto the silent platform.

Whilst ROB replied with a positive, high-pitched "bleep", Samus simply didn't respond, her gaze still not breaking off ROB for whatever reason.

This caused Engineer to relax a little, planning to knock her off and then ROB using raw strength and fast reaction times.

Alexa began the countdown. "Three..."

"Two..."

"One... GO!" He declared.

Immediately, Samus dashed to Engineer, breaking her gaze away from ROB at long last. This surprised Engineer, and took him off guard by a bit, and that was exactly Samus's goal.

She delivered three strikes to him: a hook, a jab, and an uppercut in that order. Engineer, blocked the hook, dodged the jab, but had his guard and stance broken by the uppercut.

Before she could go in for a finishing blow that would send him off the platform, ROB entered the fight, punching both of them to the edge as he gained the advantage.

Samus decided to save her skin by hopping over ROB and bopping the top of his head with a quick jab, slightly confusing the robot. She then delivered a few more jabs to the area that resembled his chest area and hopped back to give herself more room.

By that point, Engineer regained his poise and ran away from the edge, punching ROB in his cubic head guard as he tilted his head. "Is there any point to weakenin' a robot?"

"I don't think there is..." ROB admitted.

Samus decided to change her target yet again from ROB to Engineer, side-stepping around the robot as she delivered more blows to Engineer, which he blocked. He then sent out a couple of his own, all of which resulting in counter blows. He was definitely outmatched by her.

ROB intervened yet again, though this time with what he believed to be the move to end the round. He began spinning his limbs at a blinding speed, creating a brutal tornado of boxing gloves.

He slowly drifted towards the two, who were too distracted fighting, and by the time they realized what was about to happen...

*WHACK*

...It was too late, and both of them were knocked off of the edge of the platform.

"ROB WINS ROUND 4!" Cheered Alexa. "THE LAUDABLE LEAVES ARE NOW UNABLE TO FULLY LOSE THIS CHALLENGE!"

As he hovered down from the platform immediately after scoring his victory, his tribe had a massive uproar of cheering and applause. It was now, more or less, a one-on-one match between Power Flowers and Super Shrooms. Just like old times!

"Without further ado, let's start the fifth round without any interruption!" Announced Alexa, tossing ROB's equipment away. "The round that should hopefully decide everything!"

ROUND 5: Tails vs Meta Knight vs Spy.

Right off the bat, the difference in ability was shown off between the three. Meta Knight soared onto the platform using his wings, and Tails slowly drifted onto the platform using his tails. Meanwhile, Spy had to climb onto the platform at its lowest point, using a decent amount of upper-body strength in order to succeed.

After all was said and done, they all eyed each other at each corner. If Tails won, then Super Shrooms would celebrate their fourth victory, and if Meta Knight won, then Power Flowers would celebrate their third. However, Spy's motive was to rid the possibility of the Laudable Leaves taking part in the tie-breaker by gaining his team's third point, which would force a tie between Super Shrooms and Power Flowers for second place. Though, the Frenchie took a laidback approach regardless, since he could always rely on Jotaro to succeed in the tie-breaker for first place. Needless to say, it seemed like his team was getting the prize in either timeline.

"I'm more accustomed to duels, but taking on two is something I can adjust to rather easily," admitted Meta Knight.

"Hey! You're talking like you're going to win this with ease." Tails wagged his finger. "It's going to be a lot harder than that!"

"Very well," he nodded. "Prove that fact to me."

Spy watched the conversation unfold, deciding to stay out of it.

Alexa began counting down. "Three..."

"Two..."

Meta Knight stayed in place and position, as Tails lifted his boxing gloves to his face.

"One... GO!" Commanded Alexa.

Immediately, Meta Knight spun around in his cape, vanishing into thin air.

"W-wha?!" Tails took a few steps back until he reached the edge of his platform. A very risky decision that was brought by his fear.

Eventually, the warrior appeared again, lunging at Tails and delivering several small blows to every region in his body, but most of them were blocked.

In order to get himself out of the situation, Tails used what little time he had until the next flurry to crouch into a ball formation and begin spinning, his position soon turning into a blur of gold as he zipped across the platform in the blink of an eye, arriving where Spy had been watching.

"WHAT THE HE-" He was immediately interrupted and taken further off guard by three swift jabs from Tails, which caused him to keel over backward and fall off the edge he was standing on.

"Hiding in the shadows won't help you here!" Informed Tails, who quickly turned back around to face Meta Knight.

"You're awfully fast, maybe even enough to contend with my speed," he complimented before dashing at him.

Tails proceeded to dodge most if not all of the attacks sent at him, but he never had an opportunity to retaliate. It was just a test of endurance, with no chance of beating Meta Knight. However, he had to try something...

After Meta Knight hopped back to take a breather, Tails crouched into his ball and began spinning again, this time zipping straight into Meta Knight and hitting him with two hooks and a jab, weakening the knight.

Unfortunately for him, however, Meta Knight once again vanished, though appeared mere moments later behind the fox, knocking him further back until he was at the edge of the platform.

This was likely it for Tails and Super Shrooms, yet another defeat that would tarnish their reputation of "The Superior Tribe" even further than last challenge. Though, Tails had one last trick up his sleeve.

Before Meta Knight launched another jab, Tails grabbed him by his gloves and picked him up into the air.

"W-what the?!" The swordsman's eyes widened. "What are you doing?!"

Tails was silent, and used his tails to hover into the air, where he would begin spinning in circles.

Things became both hazy and dizzy for the two, not to mention the sunlight and lack of food had made them tired much quicker than the usual back in their homeland, but Tails was determined to keep spinning, picking up more and more speed. Meta Knight was helpless, with no way to use his cape or wings to stop Tails.

Eventually, Tails let go, whizzing Meta Knight off and away from the platform as he landed, immediately sitting down from the dizziness.

"TAILS WINS ROUND FIVE AND IMMUNITY FOR SUPER SHROOMS!" Announced Alexa. "Incredible! Meta Knight's speed and strength is outlived by the quick thinking of Tails!"

Super Shrooms hugged and cheered, especially surprised by a young animal such as Tails defeating such a veteran warrior.

As Tails hovered off the platform and onto the ground, Meta Knight approached him, causing the fox to become a little scared of what was to come.

But instead, Meta Knight reached out for his hand. "Though I'm much better with a sword, you still defeated me in this little challenge, and that means you're a worthy opponent."

"O-oh, thanks..." He smiled, taken back by the sportsmanship.

"If my head's on straight, then I remember you sayin' that the two tied teams get to pick whoever they want to take part in the finale!" Engineer reminded.

Alexa nodded. "That is true! Both the Laudable Leaves and the Super Shrooms tribe will now proceed to pick a member to participate in this final roun-"

"Well, we already pick Little Mac!" Engineer revealed, putting his hand on the boxer's shoulder. "He does a similar sport to this for a living, and there ain't anyone else that can match his ability in this challenge, other than a particular individual in the Laudable Leaves..."

"Indeed," Spy smirked. "We will pick Jotaro Kujo!"

"That was quick," admitted Alexa. "But very well! If both teams are confident in these picks, then they may get on the lowered platform for the final round!"

ROUND 6: Little Mac vs Jotaro Kujo.

The boxer prepared himself, he knew what he was getting into this time, and whilst anxiety still possessed him, it wasn't as prevalent as last round.

Meanwhile, Jotaro simply hopped onto the platform and waited, exactly the same as before. He was determined not to lose, but with no chance of either team getting eliminated, things weren't as tense as the norm for this challenge.

Power Flowers as a whole glumly spectated, hoping for Super Shrooms to take second place out of pure spite.

"Good luck J-Jotaro!" Little Mac waved to him. "You're probably my biggest competition yet when it comes to boxing!"

Whilst no response was said, he certainly didn't do it to be purposefully cold, judging by his neutral facial expression.

"Jeez, maybe I'll have to punch some emotion into you!" He taunted.

Alexa began the final countdown. "Three..."

Little Mac got into position, dancing on his feet in case Jotaro were to instantly go for the attack.

"Two..."

"One... GO!"

"STAR PLATINUM!" Jotaro yelled, causing the stand to appear behind him. The stand phased through him and put on his boxing gloves much like the last fight, meaning that all Little Mac could see were two red gloves drifting towards him.

Once again, his heartbeat began racing, his adrenaline spiking as he waited for the first attack.

Silence...

"ORRRAAA!" The stand cried out, launching two uppercuts one after the other.

Little Mac dodged the both of them, observing that Jotaro was on the other side of the platform, which meant that he would have to approach him in order to knock him off, as Star Platinum has no chance of being defeated by Little Mac.

A hook, a jab, and an uppercut was sent out in that order, the variety used to try and throw off Mac, who barely evaded them.

Jotaro acknowledged Little Mac's skill further, and decided to finish things off.

Star Platinum sent out a flurry of punches, yelling his signature "ORARARARARARA!" in the process.

Whilst blocking the first few punches, Little Mac's mind scrambled for ideas as the stand slowly picked up the speed, going from barely tolerable to near impossible to keep up with without having his hands break. How could he get out of this situation and turn the tables on Jotaro, and could he pull it off within the next few seconds before his fate gets sealed? That question was invading his mind, looking for answers, until...

"All contact must come from the gloves, so body-slamming or any other weird maneuver you have in mind won't work!"

That rule rang through his head a few times until he realized that, if he could make it to Jotaro, he wouldn't be allowed to fight back.

In one last attempt to break free from the rush, Little Mac dashed to the left and began running to Kujo as fast as he could.

However...

"ORAAAA!" Cried the stand, launching a hook that managed to graze Little Mac in the open, causing him to trip and fall off the platform.

"NOOOO!" He cried. "SO CLOOOOSE-"

*WHAM*

As Little Mac hit the sand, he got up to his feet and peered at the platform, which contained the victorious Jotaro. To make matters worse, he felt as if Star Platinum's punches were held back in an attempt to not brutally injure him, as the goal was just to plainly knock him off.

"JOTARO WINS THE TIE-BREAKER FOR THE LAUDABLE LEAVES!" Announced Alexa, causing the tribe to cheer. "Which means... THEY WIN THE PRIZE!"

The stand-user jumped down from the lowering platform to meet up with his more-than-happy team, Super Shrooms were obviously disappointed over their loss.

"Now I know how Power Flowers felt..." Little Mac confessed, rubbing his back. "What a brutal challenge, but I think I had a lot of fun!"

Waluigi shook his head. "You call-a that fun?! I got teamed on by Luigi and the princess! They're a bunch of-a cheaters!"

"Well, if you had insulted me at the beginning as you did with Peach, I would have focused on you first." Tails folded his arms. "I wouldn't call it cheating, either."

"Ah forget it, Waluigi is-a the only one here who knows what-a cheating is!" He whined, stomping his feet angrily.

The survivors then turned their heads to see Alexa yet again, using his whistle to get their attention. "I just remembered that I have this whistle on me at all times! Pretty useful, huh?"

"...Is that it?" Questioned Phoenix. "Or do you have some sort of amazing prize to show us?"

"Obviously! I just thought somebody would do the usual "asking me what the prize is when I'm obviously going to show it anyway", but it seemed like you were a little late to that," he mocked. "Anyway! Congratulations on your first victory, Laudable Leaves! Your prize is... a cake!"

"C-cake?" Asked Phoenix, giving a confused stare. "That's a weirdly simple prize."

Alexa raised an eyebrow. "And? It's a cake! Considering your diets are lacking the calories, energy and joy, I thought it'd be a splendid prize!"

"Can't argue with-a you there!" Luigi licked his lips, going starry-eyed.

He unveiled the cake, a simple medium-sized one with a pale vanilla frosting, though on the inside was a chocolate sponge.

The sight of it filled Kirby with joy, but upon realizing that he wouldn't be able to even have a bite of the delicacy, he gave a deep frown, which filled Alexa with a lot of guilt.

"A-anyway!" He attempted to clear his mind of guilt. "Laudable Leaves, you also receive the luxury of sending a member of Power Flowers off to Exile Oasis! Super Shrooms, due to their placement, will not take part in either side of this exchange."

They all huddled up, and discussed which member barring Meta Knight to exile. Their decision was to exile someone that apparently had a decent chance of being blindsided, according to Spy. That pick was none other than Samus Aran.

"We pick Samus," said Jotaro. "Samus Aran."

Alexa nodded. "Very well! Samus Aran will enjoy her trip to Exile Oasis as the remaining four survivors on Power Flowers will head back to tribe and pick someone to eliminate for tonight's council!"

She bobbed her head and stood up, acknowledging the fact.

"It appears my lie worked on those spineless tools. Samus has no chance of being blindsided tonight when Papyrus and K Rool had performed so poorly, and now that I've managed to exile her, she won't have the opportunity to be exiled again. Thus, when she eventually DOES become a threat in the eyes of her team, she'll have absolutely nothing to fall back on! Au revoir, Samus. You were a worthy foe!" - Spy.

The host then turned to the other two teams. "As for you two, enjoy your immunity, and head back to tribe!"

All three teams dispersed into their team pipes, leaving Alexa and the soon-to-be exiled Samus Aran...

Power Flowers: Day 12

Survivors: Papyrus - Meta Knight - Princess Peach - King K. Rool.

The survivors made it back to their tribe via their green pipe, warping back and coming together as a group to discuss elimination.

"WELL, WHAT A PITIFUL LOSS..." Papyrus sighed. "THOUGH, AT LEAST PRINCESS PEACH DIDN'T MAKE OUR DEFEAT TOO EMBARRASSING, AND META KNIGHT WAS SO CLOSE TO ACHIEVING VICTORY IF IT WEREN'T FOR THAT BAMBOOZLE. I-I GUESS THAT JUST LEAVES ME AND K ROOL..."

"H-hey! Are you implying I did terribly like you?!" He growled. "How dare you even imply that my performance came close to your levels of shame?!"

He placed his hands on his face, shaking his head. "N-NO, I WOULD NEVER SAY THAT YOUR PERFORMANCE WAS BAD, YOU JUST DIDN'T COME CLOSE TO DEFEATING KIRBY MUCH LIKE META KNIGHT, AND YOU CERTAINLY DIDN'T WIN LIKE PEACH!"

K Rool shook his head, tuning out the skeleton's plea. "That puffball wouldn't sit still! There was nothing I could have done! Meta Knight was right all along, right?!"

"And yet, you pulled the same trick over and over again until he eventually wore you out," Meta Knight shook his head. "You could have knocked him off if you offered variety, but instead you chose to do what Kirby punishes with ease, that being patterns, and predictable ones at that."

He clenched his claws. "Y-you! You said he was a lot stronger than I thought!"

"Kirby is definitely stronger than you had thought on that day, but you failed to stay on guard and come close to outsmarting him." The warrior turned his back. "...As for Papyrus, missing your first shot and plummeting to the ground was quite possibly the worst attempt for fighting I've seen in a very long time."

"W-WELL, IF IT HIT, IT WOULD HAVE-" Papyrus was interrupted by Meta Knight.

"-Been blocked by Little Mac, then he would have countered and knocked you off of the stage," he truthfully told. "The point is, both of you did terribly last round, and it's just a matter of who we should be voting."

Peach gave a gentle nod, happy with the idea. "Agreed! I think Meta Knight and, not to sound smug, myself, should both be out of the elimination discussion due to our better performances in the challenge."

"And what's stopping us two from teaming up on you two and forcing a tie, eh?!" He folded his arms, a cocky grin forming.

Papyrus then raised arm, immediately wiping the smug look off of the crocodile's face. "I'M AFRAID I CANNOT DO THAT!"

"Gh?! What's stopping a thick-skull like you from potentially saving your own skin!?" K Rool barked at him, staring deep into the skeleton's conflicted eyes.

He sighed. "WELL, WE BOTH WERE INFERIOR, SO IT'S ONLY FAIR IF IT'S A PICK BETWEEN US TWO. FURTHERMORE, I THINK WE SHOULD BOTH VOTE OURSELVES TO PREVENT ANY POSSIBLE TIES FROM HAPPENING!" Papyrus suggested, his eyes suddenly lighting up. "THAT WAY, IT'S FAIR AND SA-"

"ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND?!" He snapped. "It's like you're treating this like some sort of game?!"

"AS IT IS!" Papyrus innocently stated.

K Rool was taken back by the quick remark, which he definitely didn't see coming from Papyrus. "W-well, obviously! But this is a game with a grand prize of a million dollars and a one-in-a-life-time opportunity to bask at the world's greatest hotel! You want to throw that out for your gushy fairness and kindness?!"

He posed. "EXACTLY! I FAIL TO SEE THE PROBLEM!"

"..." The king sighed, before pointing. "If you're going to disobey my command to help me, then the least you can do is stand over there for a couple of minutes!"

"A-ALL THE WAY OVER THERE?!" The skeleton rubbed his jaw.

"Yeah, just go do that!" K Rool commanded.

"What a terrible alliance partner! First he keeps slipping his tongue about our secret, and then, when it came time for him to be loyal, he seemed to care about Peach and Meta Knight over me, the guy who gives him the orders!" - King K. Rool.

"WHAT AN INCONSIDERATE ALLIANCE PARTNER! FIRST, HE IS AWFULLY ILL-MANNERED TOWARDS ME, AND WHEN IT CAME TIME FOR HIM TO BE LOYAL TO HIS TRIBE, HE SEEMED TO CARE ABOUT HIMSELF OVER PEACH AND META KNIGHT, THE TWO WHO NEARLY SAVED US FROM THIS POSITION OF THIRD PLACE! THE LEAST HE CAN DO IS PARTICIPATE IN THIS PUNISHMENT ALONGSIDE ME, THOUGH I WISH IT DIDN'T HAVE TO COME TO THIS..." - Papyrus.

Papyrus nodded. "O-OKAY! BUT REMEMBER, I WILL NOT VOTE EITHER OF THOSE TWO!"

"Yeah yeah, just go away!" He demanded, stomping his foot in order to scare away Papyrus.

After the skeleton marched off, he leaned over to Meta Knight and Peach, both of which looked agitated towards him trying to get Papyrus to vote for them.

"Alright, it's time I come clean." K Rool looked both ways. "Papyrus formed an alliance with me, and I decided to join it since he promised me to protect him with an idol he had found! However, right before we headed back to the tribe, he told me that he was going to use the idol on you, Meta Knight! Though, I'm willing to help you two out and vote against him to cause a tie, then, we will vote for him again and eliminate him in the second tie!"

"I know these two are going to try vote me now that I caused a ruckus, but if I were to convince them that Papyrus was the one who had the idol instead of me, I can paint a nice red target on his backbone... and that way, I won't have to waste my idol! A fool-proof plan indeed." - King K. Rool.

Peach and Meta Knight glared at one another and turned their heads back to K Rool. Meta Knight suddenly stood up.

"I thought he was just a puny weakling, but a threat as well?" He shook his head. "Looks like I'll have to ignore what you said about voting us and take out Papyrus."

"W-wait, really?!" He asked, panting almost like a dog.

"Obviously!" Added Peach. "If we can force this tie, and have either Meta Knight or I vote for Papyrus, then that would save us and get rid of a threat that... I really didn't expect to be someone to pull a blindside, especially after telling you that he wasn't going to vote for either of us out of loyalty! Some lie that was."

K Rool frantically bobbed his head, happy that he was convincing the two. "Right?! That act he put on was all a ruse, and I realized that you two are really important to this team, and are more valuable more than a stinking alliance that was formed by someone as incompetent as Papyrus! So, are you two ready to go down to Tribal Council and vote for Papyrus when the time comes?!"

Both of them agreed with it. "Of course, and thank you for saving either of us from his idol." Peach bowed.

"I'll go get him now," he said, running off.

Meta Knight then turned to Peach. "You know who to vote, right?"

"Who was he trying to fool..." She shook her head. "I never thought I'd feel so disappointed towards him."

As K Rool brought Papyrus back, Meta Knight told them that he and Peach would "think about who to eliminate" and then reveal it at Tribal Council. K Rool knew that this was just apart of their plan to fool Papyrus, and went along with it as such...

Tribal Council: Night 12

Survivors: Papyrus - Meta Knight - Princess Peach - King K. Rool.

The survivors entered the Koopa Sphinx as usual, traveling down the long hallway before reaching the main room, where the Egyptian-themed Alexa was already standing.

"Take a seat, survivors!" He beckoned, and they did just as he obliged. "Welcome to Tribal Council yet again, Power Flowers. You guys are definitely no strangers to this place, and with only four of you here, it must feel a lot more lonely than it did before. Now, as a general question: how is the tribe finding it without ROB and Spy?"

Peach pouted. "Well, Spy wasn't exactly the most pleasant individual, but I definitely miss ROB. He was great company, and just pleasant to be around..."

Alexa empathized with her sadness. "Understandable, if I was in your shoes, I'd probably be super bummed out over losing someone I could call pleasant! How about you, K Rool?"

"Eh, forget the dinky robot and rogue. I didn't care much for either of 'em, and the only thing I miss are those percentage thingies that ROB began giving out," he said. "You know, before you decided to add this meaningless twist into the game?"

"Meaningless?" He asked. "Tell me more about that, big guy."

"Well, there's no point in splitting the teams into a three! It's just mindless and makes things worse for both teams," K Rool explained.

The host almost gave a nod, but couldn't see his point. "I understand it making things more difficult, but this shakes up the game to such an extent, it'd be ridiculous to call it meaningless!"

"Fair point, but just know that I don't like it..." He growled.

"O-okay!" Alexa acknowledged. "Err, next question! This time, it's for Meta Knight: do you think tribe becomes a lot more bearable with fewer people?"

"It depends on the people, but with a certain snake gone, I can rest a lot easier," the warrior explained. "Losing ROB didn't affect much on the peace, as he was typically quiet... for a robot."

"Hmm, you seem to be referring to Spy with the snake remark, and I'm beginning to see a pattern..." He rubbed his chin. "But that's for me to process! Papyrus, for our last question, would you mind explaining to us how your performance made you feel?"

Papyrus sighed. "WHILST MY PUNCH WOULD HAVE DEFINITELY RESULTED IN AN INCREDIBLE VICTORY FOR THE GREAT PAPYRUS, THE FACT THAT I MISSED WAS SO SHAMEFUL, THAT I WOULDN'T BE TOO SURPRISED IF I WERE TO BE ELIMINATED."

Trying to be as quiet as possible, K Rool sniggered under his breath at the irony of what he was saying.

"Seems like you acknowledge your mistakes, which is... surprisingly rare," Alexa scratched his cheek. "At least in the early game. Now! Let's get down to the vote, shall we?"

One by one, the members of Power Flowers stood up and casted their votes...

King K. Rool: Sayonara, Papyrus! Your poor loyalty towards me in this alliance has signed your death warrant! (Papyrus)

Papyrus: AS I SAID, I SHALL BE VOTING FOR MYSELF! I HOPE K ROOL REALLY HAS DONE THE SAME, AS HE SAID HE DID ON THE WAY HERE... (Papyrus)

Peach and Meta Knight also left votes, though didn't comment on them.

"Before I read out the votes, does anyone want to play an idol?" Asked Alexa.

Silence, and though K Rool knew that both of them would become suspicious of Papyrus not playing the idol, it was too late for them. He also had the idol on him, which he luckily didn't have to use as Peach and Meta Knight fell for his lie.

"No? Then I shall read out the votes!" Said Alexa.

*VOTING TIME*

First vote goes to Papyrus. One vote Papyrus. (Papyrus sees this vote as the one he casted on himself.)

Second vote goes to Papyrus. Two votes Papyrus. ("WELL, IT APPEARS THAT YOU HAVE CHOSEN ME...")

"And the sixth victim of elimination in Survivor Crossover: Dry Dry Desert is... NOT PAPYRUS!" Alexa revealed. "K Rool has received the third and fourth votes, meaning that it is a tie! This means that Power Flowers will shortly discuss amongst themselves on who to vote between Papyrus or K Rool. Neither of them can vote. If another tie takes place, then rocks will have to be drawn..."

Papyrus was completely confused. "NYEH?! I THOUGHT YOU TWO CAME TO A CONCLUSION AS A DUO?"

"We did," said Peach. "And that conclusion was for us both to vote for K Rool."

The skeleton gasped. "WHAAAA?! T-THEN... K ROOL VOTED FOR ME?! B-BUT, OUR ALLIANCE..."

"Well, if those two went according to my plan, then they also would have voted for you!" K Rool pointed angrily. "But now I'm going to have to use my Mushroom Idol sooner than expected..."

In shock, Peach gasped. "I knew you had the idol! Someone like you would definitely keep it to yourself."

"Why else would I pull off such a risky stunt?!" He rhetorically asked. "Papyrus is not loyal to me, and he's nothing but obnoxious! So, I decided to lie to you in hopes that you would vote him off without me having to pull out Plan B so soon, but considering you didn't... I'll have to resort to using my idol to triple my voting power against Papyrus!"

The sphinx was then dead silent, other than Papyrus and his audible teeth chattering, of course.

Alexa then shook his head. "Cool plan, but it falls apart once you realize that you can't use idols in this second vote. Heck, you can't even VOTE since you're one of the two people tied! Basically, you just told everyone about your evil plot, and you couldn't even use your get-out-of-jail-free card to escape that situation..."

"N-NO!" He placed his hands on his head, shaking his head. "T-THIS IS PREPOSTEROUS!"

"I think you guys are ready for your second vote..." He grinned. "Have fun, Peach and Meta Knight!"

Although Papyrus was seemingly now safe, he couldn't help but feel terrible over being called ill-loyal for doing what he thought was right, and he was even called obnoxious by his supposed friend to add to that.

As Peach and Meta Knight proceeded with their second vote, it was almost obvious how things were going to turn out.

When it was all said and done, Alexa grabbed the votes and read both of them. Eyeing K Rool. "Looks like the two judges have spoken! King K. Rool, you have been eliminated via two votes!"

"Grr..." He growled, slamming his fist against the bench he was sitting on before standing up. "Fine! So be it, have your pathetic little rules in place, but if I ever cross paths with you again Alexa, I won't hold back beating you to a pulp..."

"Let's hope we live miles apart, huh?" Alexa joked, though on the inside he was wracked with anxiety and fear. "If you have any last words before you leave Survivor Crossover, please say them now, as I torch your image of course!"

Alexa got to work on his usual blowtorch shenanigans as K Rool eyed the others. "The same goes for you lot! And as for YOU, bonehead... if you had just followed through with my plan, then we would be better off! Instead, I learned that even the dumbest of the dumb can surprise me with their foolishness!"

"MAYBE SO, BUT I HAVE LOYALTY TO MY TRIBE! THEY ALMOST PROVIDED US WITH VICTORY, AND THAT WAS MORE THAN WHAT YOU OR I DID. AND SO, I DIDN'T WANT TO FORCE TWO TIES WITH THEM AFTER WE BOTH DIDN'T PERFORM UP TO SCRATCH... NOT TO MENTION THAT IT WOULD LEAVE EITHER ME OR THE PERSON WE DIDN'T VOTE RECEIVING THE ROCKS, WHICH IS JUST... SELFISH! AND MAYBE IT'S FINE IN A GAMESHOW, BUT I AM DETERMINED TO HAVE LOYALTY NO MATTER WHAT!" He proudly stood up, placing his bony hand on his chest.

In retaliation, K Rool rolled his eyes and began walking off. "You're forgetting that you'll never see these swines again, and they'll be quick to eliminate you next! Farewell, and I wish for none of you to win that prize!"

As he disappeared, Papyrus sighed.

"That was a very brave and mature speech, Papyrus. Don't let people like him get to you." Peach cheered him up.

"THANK YOU, PRINCESS!" He smiled. "IT'S JUST DIFFICULT KNOWING THAT SOMEONE WHO WAS ONCE MY FRIEND BECAME SO SOUR TOWARDS ME OVER A DECISION..."

"If it makes you feel better, he was probably never your friend, and was just using you for an extra vote," Meta Knight explained.

Papyrus pulled a slightly confused face. "...I FAIL TO SEE HOW THAT WOULD CHEER ONE UP, BUT THANK YOU FOR THE ATTEMPT. I REALLY DO WONDER IF HE JUST WANTED TO BE IN AN ALLIANCE WITH ME BECAUSE I WAS THE ONE WHO RECEIVED THE IDOL FIRST... SPEAKING OF WHICH, WHAT SHALL HAPPEN TO THE IDOL, ALEXA?!"

He shrugged. "K Rool has been eliminated with an idol, and so his idol is simply gone forever."

"OH, WELL, I DIDN'T NEED IT!" He proclaimed. "I, THE GREAT PAPYRUS, SHALL LEARN FROM MY MISTAKES OF LAST CHALLENGE, AND I SHALL SOON MAKE MYSELF WORTHY AND CAPABLE OF SAVING THIS TEAM AND WINNING THE SHOW!"

As everything came to a close, Alexa began waving to the survivors. "Well Power Flowers, head on back to your tribe! Samus Aran will be back tomorrow, and I hope you manage to win the next challenge. K Rool looked to be tactical or a more in-the-shadows contestant at first, but it appears that I was proven wrong with some of the ridiculous stunts he pulled, and unfortunately to him, none of them had paid off! G'night survivors..."

King K. Rool's Last Words: "What a terrible game! I did just as good as Meta Knight in that challenge, yet due to the bias of me being some apparent big bad, I'm the one who's in the same league as Papyrus? This whole show is nothing but a scam run by people with brains on par with those treacherous, filthy apes!"
