Chapter 1 – Collision of Heroes

Vent stared off into the distance, with the thought of happened to Girouette on his mind. "(Was there anything I could have done to save him...?)" His thought was interrupted at someone wrapping his arms around him from behind.

"Hey, it wasn't your fault Giro is gone, I could have done something too... So please, don't beat yourself over it Vent." Said a girl with brown hair and a uniform slightly identical to Vent's. He jumped back in surprise.

"H-Hey! Warn me next time before you do that Aile!" He exclaimed. Aile giggled.

"(Silly Vent...)"
"Uh anyway, is there any new missions right now?" Vent asked in an attempt to change the subject.

"Not right now, no. Prairie will let us know when there is, so just be patient okay?" Aile responded.

"Mannnn." Vent whined. Ever since the death of his best friend he had been determined to defeat Serpent and save the world. He and Aile had already retrieved the first Model H part.

"Vent! Aile! Please come to command center." Prairie said over the speaker phone. Vent jumped up in excitement.

"Finally! Another mission! Let's go!" Vent said and charged out of the room.

"Ugh, Vent, wait up!" Aile moaned in exasperation. The two both arrive at the command center where they are greeted by a girl dressed in pink attire and has a doll in her arms.

"Prairie, what's up? You got another mission for us?" Vent asked.

"Sort of. There's some big energy ball floating in the sky near the town district of Area C. We've scanned it and we have no idea what it is. We aren't even sure if it's of this world."
"What is Serpent up to?" Aile asked pondering the situation.

"Let's find out!" Vent said determinedly while running off again.

"Veeeent! Could you quit it with the running off?!" Aile complained whilst chasing after him once more.

"Guys! Wait!" Unfortunately, they were already gone. "I have a feeling this isn't Serpent's doing..."

Vent and Aile arrive at the scene, in their Model ZX forms. They observe the big ball of energy. "So... What is it?" Aile inquired. Vent's communicator buzzes.

"Guys, can you hear me?" Said Prairie's voice.

"Read you loud and clear." Vent responded.

"Prairie, what is this thing?" Aile asked.

"I'm not sure... We're going to have Fleuve run a more extensive analysis on it. We'll get back to you." Prairie said before ending the transmission.

"Well, whatever this thing is, let's destroy it!" Vent said raising his buster at it.

"Can we destroy it?" Aile questioned.

"I dunno, we can try!" Vent jumps up to a higher platform and Aile does the same, they both shoot at the big ball of energy, with no results. "Darn, what is that thing?" The ball begins emitting big sparks of energy, one hurtling towards Aile. "Look out!" Vent quickly tackled Aile making sure she wouldn't get hurt by the blast. "You okay?"

"Y-Yeah... What is this thing?" Aile questioned once again.

"I really don't know." Vent stared at the big ball of energy. Citizens were running away, as the energy got more out of control. Suddenly, as Vent took a closer look, he managed to make out a big figure appearing from the light. "What... is that?" Vent looked more closely and it appeared to be charging at them, so he drew has saber and did the exact same thing. However, his arm was grabbed by a hand, one in much superior size to his own, and swung around and thrown back to the ground. "WOAAAAH!" Vent yelled as he crashed onto the ground and the figure landed. Aile rushed over to his side.

"Vent! Are you okay?"

"Ugh... Yeah." Vent said as he dusted himself off. He got, faced the figured and aimed his buster and Aile did the same. "Got anything to say for yourself before we commence with a full on beatdown?" Vent said with smug confidence. However, that demeanor quickly changed once the figure approached itself into view, revealing itself to be a creature of immense size, and in the shape of a dinosaur.

"Yeah, you just made a humungous mistake!" The creature said appearing into full view before swinging a punch at Vent.

"Woah!" Vent quickly dodged the punch. "Prairie you seeing this?! What the heck is that thing?!"

"Some kind of advanced mechaniloid?" Aile suggested.

"No... Our scans show that it's an organic being, but... We have no idea what it is. Who knows if it's even from this planet?"

"Well, whatever it is, we won't let it destroy this place."

"Right back at ya!" The creature said before swinging another punch. Aile and Vent dodge.

"Take this ugly!" Vent charged his buster and shot at the creature, although the attack only seemed to damage it slightly.

"You alien punks should get it by now, you mess with Ben, you get the 10." Vent and Aile share a confused look.

"Aliens? The ten? What the heck is it blabbering about?" Aile asked slightly dumbfounded.

"It must have hit its head or something, who knows." Vent said shrugging. He then observed the creature's humungous size. "If it's so big, it really wouldn't do well in the water. Why don't we give it a bath?" Vent said before switching into Model H.

"Putting on new armor won't help you!" The creature said before swinging at him again, Vent dodged using his updash. "Huh?!" Vent created a tornado which threw the creature off balance before Aile blasted into the water with her buster. Vent lands.

"Alright!" Vent cheered while fist bumping Aile. "Looks like we're done here." However, before they could leave, a flash of green light occurred, and something emerges from the water. A crystalline humanoid, whose body was mostly comprised of rock, with the exception of his hands and face, which were diamond covered, and had two diamond spikes emerging from his back.

"It'll take more than that, to put me down." Vent and Aile looked on in shock.

"Say wha-" Vent didn't have time to finish his sentence as the creature shot at Vent with diamond crystals, some of which hit him, while Aile dodged. "Prairie, tell me you didn't also just see a humungous dinosaur turn into some weird crystal thingy!"

"I saw it, I'm not entirely sure what this is. You need to be careful!"

"It won't stop us!" Vent and Aile charged at the creatures with their sabers and the creature retaliated by reforming its hand into a sword and combatting them. Vent kept continuously slashing at the creature, eventually managing to partially crack it.

"Heh, lucky punch."

"Luck? Don't believe in it. Now you'd do well to stay down."

"In your dreams punk." The creature slammed its hand onto a green symbol centered on its chest and another flash of green light was emitted. By the time Vent opened his eyes, the creature of crystal was replaced with a creature with a yellow and black body, with a head floating in the center. Its hands appeared to be claws of sorts.

"Again?!" Aile exclaimed in frustration.

"I think you should say hi to a friend I call, 'Magnetism'!" The creature raised its hands at Aile and Vent, and a pulse emitted from them and the duo was lifted into the air.

"Hey, what?! Put us down!"

"The metal in our armors! If we switch back to human form...!" The two do just that and they dropped to the ground. They both switch into Model ZX and blast the creature very far, and then go after it.

"Give up, and we won't hurt you. Too bad anyway." Vent said.

"What makes you think-" The creature's sentence was interrupted by the sound of a billboard falling and the screams of innocent people.

"Oh no! Those people are gonna get hurt!" Aile said while covering her mouth. The creature slammed the center of its chest again and transformed into a creature that was blue, black and had tail that was striped with those colors with white on his chest. He ran very fast down the building and quickly grabbed the civilians before the board fell on them.

"It... saved them?" Aile spluttered.

"What if it's a trick?!" Vent said with doubt. They both approached the creature. "Hey!" The creature turned to them.

"What are you?! Where did you come from?!"

"Calm down red boy, clearly from what your girlfriend said earlier you aren't the bad guy either, so calm down will ya?" Aile's cheeks began to heat up while Vent said...

"Don't change the subject! Who are you?" The creature looked surprised.

"Seriously?" The creature flashed again and reverted to what seemed to be a boy in his teens, who wore a green jacket that said, '10' on it and wore a black shirt under it. He also was wearing blue jeans and had brown hair. "I'm Ben Tennyson!" Everyone just stared at the boy in confusion. "Ben Ten? You know, like, the most famous hero in the universe?" Everyone just continued to stare at the boy with confused looks.

"Uh..." Vent just had a baffled look on his face as he barely understood the situation himself. Suddenly, the big ball of energy from before emerged, and it began to explode, with a big rush of energy hurtling towards Vent.

"VENT LOOK OUT!" Aile screamed as she tackled the boy out of the way. In the process, she was shocked and screamed in pain, leaving her on the ground.

"AILE NO!" Vent rushed over to her, holding her in his arms. "Prairie! Send the guardians! Get Aile medical help now!" Vent turned to the boy in green with a hateful look.

"You...! You did this!"

The boy just looked on in shock and horror whilst the guardians came and took Aile inside whilst the green boy was restrained.

Whoo, first chapter. I know a lot of it came from the Ben 10/Generator Rex Heroes United special but I still hope you enjoyed it regardless.
