*Last time on Survivor Crossover: Dry Dry Desert...*

On the night of Waluigi's elimination, Power Flowers, Laudable Leaves, as well as the supposedly "exiled" Little Mac were rewarded with a feast following the cooking challenge they had gotten first and second place on. Towards the end of this feast, Little Mac unintentionally revealed to everyone that Samus Aran held the final idol left in the show. With a new target on her back, Samus would have to cope with everyone's awareness regarding her advantage...

The following morning, Little Mac gushed to Tails over the feast he took part in the night before, although he ended up telling the fox about the mistake he made. Though he didn't approve, he was relieved to hear that Samus didn't seem to be too annoyed over Little Mac's hiccup. Additionally, those two and the rest of Super Shrooms were approached by Alexa; they were told to vote someone from their team to take part in a mystery event, and so they ended up nominating Engineer to do so...

Laudable Leaves tribe had a similar story. Tensions rose between Jotaro and Spy over Star Platinum's seemingly unstoppable powers and abilities. After the drama, they were visited by Alexa. Much like the previous team he encountered, he commanded them to elect someone to take part in the mystery event. In this case, they ended up tying between Luigi and Jotaro, but upon deciding the tie-breaker with a coinflip, Jotaro was the one who ended up leaving.

Meanwhile, at Power Flowers, Papyrus was downright horrified to catch his team eating a meal whilst he had been dozing off. After it had been somewhat resolved, Samus complained about the addition of flavor in her food made her even hungrier when waiting for the next ration, though her vent was interrupted by Alexa, yet again forcing the tribe to nominate someone to leave the tribe. They decided to vote for Peach.

As the princess reached the Cacti Paradise: the area where the twist would take place, she met up with Engineer and Jotaro before finally receiving information from Alexa. According to him, they now had a special perk attached to them, which allowed them to force another vote between two people upon their own elimination, which would conclude the night with a double-elimination (the initial elimination and the second vote's elimination). However, after the perk happens once in Tribal Council, it would disappear and no longer work for the others who were given the perk. The twist is referred to as "The Bob-Omb Twist" by Alexa, and if any of the three told anyone about the twist, they would receive a permanent, game-changing punishment...

In the challenge, the returning survivors were surprised to know that the overall gimmick would revolve around dodgeballs, much like the second challenge in Survivor Crossover: Tropics. However, instead of it being a continuous "last-man-standing" onslaught, it would take place over three rounds, where each team would have a turn standing on top of a large arch-like structure where they would dodge any dodgeballs that came their way for five minutes. Whichever team had the most survivors standing by the end of their round would be declared the winner.

For the first round, Power Flowers climbed onto the arch as Laudable Leaves and Super Shrooms teamed up to try and take them down. During the match, Papyrus and Peach were taken out fairly early solely due to Star Platinum's impeccable accuracy and speed, leaving Samus and Meta Knight to use their wits to survive the rest of the time. Howbeit, as skilled as they were, Jotaro still managed to use a trick of his own to take out Samus right before the round ended.

Laudable Leaves climbed the arch and were tasked with surviving in the second round. Jotaro sacrificed himself almost immediately in order to grab Meta Knight's and Samus's dodgeballs, eliminating them both as well. With those two skilled players out of the round, it was smooth sailing for the rest of the tribe. By the end of the five minutes, three out of the four members were standing.

In the third and final round of the challenge, Engineer was immediately taken out by Jotaro, and, after constant worrying thoughts of being eliminated if he were to lose the challenge, Little Mac managed to grab Jotaro's dodgeball, albeit the force still caused him to fall off, eliminating both. The rest of the round consisted of the others remaining on the arch evading and grabbing everything sent their way, causing two to remain by the end of the five minutes.

Whilst Super Shrooms thought they were safe, Alexa revealed that all teams barring first-place would be participating in a joint-council. It was a twist that brought despair to everyone affected.

As expected, chaos broke out as both teams attempted to argue over who should be eliminated. Whilst no conclusion or agreement had been formed, Tails suspected that Samus would use her idol to prevent a tie and vote him off. Additionally, Little Mac was talked into a much better mood by Papyrus, an ally of his back in the last season, who had an idea that would supposedly satisfy both sides of the debate.

At Tribal Council, the idea came to fruition: Papyrus had himself eliminated via purposeful rule-breaking. Whilst the skeleton wasn't upset over his departure, many others were, and he abruptly left the show without a vote even taking place...

What will happen in this episode? Which teams will receive immunity, and who will face elimination this time? All and more will be answered in Episode 10 of Survivor Crossover: Dry Dry Desert!

Challenge Dunes: Day 19

Survivors: Phoenix Wright - Luigi - Meta Knight - Little Mac - Princess Peach - Tails - Spy - Kirby - Engineer - Jotaro Kujo - Samus Aran.

All three tribes, including the previously exiled Engineer and Peach, circled around Alexa. Much like last time he had arrived at their tribe uninvited, those who were woken up forcefully by him shared a high level of grouchiness.

"So, what's gonna happen this time, Alexa?" Little Mac cushioned his chin on his boxing gloves. "Is it another vote?"

"Perhaps it's the merge that we have been anticipating for a while?" Added Meta Knight.

Phoenix rubbed his chin, attempting to piece together the different possibilities. "It's either yet another twist or the merge, and since we already had a twist, I think Meta Knight's right!"

Alexa couldn't help but grin at the assumptions. "Last night, Papyrus had been eliminated in the joint-council starring Power Flowers and Super Shrooms. With only eleven of you left, and only six more eliminations before the final five, you're rightfully expecting the merge, right?"

"I don't-a like where this is-a going," Luigi trembled. "Please stop with-a that one of voice!"

He ignored Luigi and continued, "well... your predictions are CORRECT! After nearly twenty whole days of Survivor Crossover: Dry Dry Desert antics, you have hit the checkpoint to your goal of winning the show's grand prizes! If you made it this far, then give yourself a pat on the back. You ARE a survivor worthy of winning the show, and whilst I had some ideas of who the victor could be back in the first season, you guys truly have me stumped!"

The eleven survivors felt a long wave of euphoria hit them. They had been struggling in this hot, empty wasteland doing physically and mentally demanding challenges for almost three whole weeks, coupled with stress-inducing moments of Tribal Council, and to know that they made it this far filled them with a determination that little people will ever get to experience in their lives. They may have lost many friends and foes along the way, and that will continue to happen, but for now, all they cared about was seeing their new tribe, meeting everyone they hadn't interacted with before, or just sitting down and continuing to take in the sheer joy they felt.

"Man... I'm so excited! I never felt this good even when I got to this point before, and that's because this season's been so much more brutal! I'm dreading to see what lies beyond today, but all I wanna do now is have a big celebratory feast of rice and beans, and treat this day as if it was Christmas!" - Little Mac.

"I hope Maya's proud of me! I promised her that I'd get to the merge at the very least, since that's an achievement by itself, and throughout my whole experience here, I've been nervous over getting eliminated. Now look at me, I made it to the merge, so I know I'm able to make it to the very end and win that money and vacation at that hotel! I'm sure Alexa also said that I'd be allowed to bring two friends with me, so I'll bring Maya and Pearls! But I shouldn't get too ahead of myself... there's still so much more of this competition to go." - Phoenix Wright.

"Words cannot describe how happy I am that I managed to get to this far, let alone without being a target. I just know that I'm capable of getting to the end and winning! Plus, if I can, I'll try to get Luigi to the end with me, because I know we'll both be looking out for each other now that we're in the same group of people." - Princess Peach.

After the sighs of relief slowly died down, Alexa swiftly moved on to describing and explaining the new merge tribe. "Judging by your faces, you're craving a chance to go to this merge tribe, and for good reason! This new tribe of yours will be named after the apex of the Mushroom Kingdom's relics: the Super Star! That's right, you people ARE the Super Stars!"

He then spun around in a circle and clicked his fingers; rumbling immediately followed.

"GAHHH, EARTHQUAKE!" Little Mac cried. "W-wait! This rumbling is weirdly familiar..."

Alexa jumped back as a large yellow pipe rose from the sand. This pipe was significantly larger and shinier than the previous team warp pipes the survivors used for transport, which only highlighted how grand the merge tribe truly was.

Following half a minute more of rumbling, the pipe stood in place, and Alexa immediately climbed and jumped into it. "This way!"

With brimming curiosity, the survivors slowly approached the pipe.

The first one to enter the pipe was Tails and Kirby, both of which flied onto the pipe and jumped in. Meta Knight and Samus quickly followed, and were then succeeded by the eager Little Mac and Luigi. From that point, Jotaro, Peach, and Phoenix entered one after the other in a queue-like fashion. That left Engineer and Spy.

Before Engineer began climbing, Spy grabbed him by the shoulder and pulled him back and away from the pipe, uttering only three chilling words.

"Good luck, cowboy."

He then swapped positions with the Texan and jumped into the pipe, leaving Engineer to be the last one to enter...

Super Stars: Day 19

Survivors: Phoenix Wright - Luigi - Meta Knight - Little Mac - Princess Peach - Tails - Spy - Kirby - Engineer - Jotaro Kujo - Samus Aran.

The Jagged Rockies... at one point it was an uninteresting detour that the survivors could go to in search of an idol, but ever since it was confirmed that said idol had been removed from the area, there was no reason to explore that location, much like the Koopa Sphinx and Cacti Paradise. Due to this, Alexa decided to let the area not go to waste, and so the entirety of the Super Stars tribe had been built over the area.

The survivors were happy to know that there were eleven tents circling a large fireplace where they would cook their meals. The number of tents meant that they would no longer have to awkwardly share tents with others anymore, which would improve the sleep quality by a marginal amount. The fireplace was littered with more wood and other materials, which would create a bigger flame. After all, cooking a meal for eleven, including yourself, would be an awful task if they had the same as before.

Moving away from the tents and fireplace, a large cloth shelter, similar to the ones in each tribe, shaded a set of sturdy benches and a large table. The benches were of higher quality than the ones they had before, and the table's contents consisted of an electric, battery-powered fan, a set of used seasonings, and a couple of board/card games to provide entertainment. It didn't take much thinking for the survivors to realize that the items on the table had been taken from their tribes and brought here.

"Is it to your fancy?" Asked Alexa. "It better be, because this is the most luxury you're ever gonna get out here! All of your items from your tribes have been moved over here, and the overall look and design of this tribe beat the old ones by a landslide. Consider it one of two major rewards for getting this far!"

"One of... two?!" Phoenix thought to himself before speaking up. "What does that mean?" He probed.

He wagged his finger condescendingly. "I knew someone would ask that! I'll get to it in a second, but first, I need to give a rundown of what the Merge is going to be like for you guys and gals!"

After taking a deep breath, he prepared himself for the long explanation.

"With all of you in one tribe, challenges will become a lot less about teamwork and more about winning for yourself! Last season, we had the Survivor Leaderboards, a twist that kept track of points you earned from Roulette events and challenges, and the bottom half with the least amount of points would be up for elimination in Tribal Council! This time, things will be a lot simpler, and every challenge will reward a set amount of people, whether it be one or a few, with immunity for the rest of the night. Needless to say, the point system is gone!" Alexa announced.

Little Mac audibly sighed, cracking a triumphant smile. "Thank god! I never had good luck on those Roulette thingies," he confessed. "But now it's gone!"

He continued, "now, challenges will be as tough as ever, and their overall budget will, and not to brag, be increased tenfold! Once a challenge is over, all of you will return back to this tribe and will discuss who to vote off. Once you're at Tribal Council, everyone will vote somebody off of the show, including those who have immunity on them. However... the Jury system from the first season will be returning! If you've forgotten: anyone who is eliminated from this point onward will become a Jury member. A Jury member will attend every Tribal Council in a spectator role, and at the end of the show, all Jury members will have a key role in the Finale! So, to answer Phoenix's question, the second reward is the reward of being a Jury member if you were to be eliminated."

"With the Jury system returning, I now know that I made a good call by being a lot less bold throughout this season. If I don't make a good impression to those who are eliminated, then there's no way they'll help me out in the Finale." - Samus Aran.

"Oh, and one last thing," said Alexa. "Exile Oasis is officially over! No more exiles will happen in the merge, so everyone will be able to attend and vote in the Tribal Council."

He then proceeded to slowly walk backward until he was next to the large yellow pipe.

"Good luck, Super Stars, as that's all I have to tell you for today," he hopped up onto the rim of the warp pipe and gave a cheesy salute. "I'll see you in the Challenge Dunes tomorrow, as usual!"

Alexa jumped backward and entered the pipe, officially exiting the Super Stars tribe and leaving the survivors on their own, ready to celebrate their achievement of making it to the merge.

"Well..." Spy spread his arms out, taking in the area. "This is it, gentlemen! All eleven of us will dwindle one after the other until there's only a handful of us left. I recommend you get interacting with the people here that you've not spoken to, and as for me, I'll be catching up on much-needed sleep."

"The first thing you're going to do... is nap?" Queried Tails.

The Frenchman nodded, confirming the fox's curiosity. "Of course! Maybe I'll come and introduce myself to those who haven't exactly met me later, but as for now, I need to take back what Alexa stole from me."

He slipped into one of the many tents surrounding the fire, leaving the zip open for ventilation, and dozed off, leaving the others to scatter around the Jagged Rockies area in fairly small groups:

The first group was located under the shelter, and it consisted of Tails, Engineer, Phoenix, and Peach.

The second group huddled around a cluster of rocks, not too far from the circle of tents and the other parts of the Tribe. Samus, Little Mac, Luigi, and Jotaro.

Finally, the third group was more of a pair: Meta Knight and Kirby, both of which lingered along the outskirts of the Super Stars tribe, far away from the other two groups.

"So, Phoenix." Tails caught his attention. "What was Laudable Leaves like for you, Luigi, and Jotaro?"

The lawyer recalled the events that happened in his tribe before shuddering. "It wasn't pretty, I'll tell you that. On the night of ROB's elimination, I thought I was the one who was going to be eliminated, but Spy used an idol to force a vote between Jotaro and ROB only. I was happy that I was the only one who wasn't picked, but I really felt bad for ROB, even if he's just some emotionless robot."

"I wouldn't say the fella's completely emotionless," Engineer argued. "For a robot, he's quite the opposite! Probably one of the most interesting robots I've ever seen, considerin' my experience with 'em is quite... well... negative."

"Well, either way, Luigi felt like the only person I could talk to," confessed Phoenix. "ROB wasn't too much of a talker, Jotaro is somehow even less talkative, and I feel intimidated too much by Spy to strike up a conversation with him. At least we were the best team of the three!"

Peach pouted upon remembering ROB. "ROB and I were pretty good friends until he had to move to the Laudable Leaves tribe. I was quite upset to hear that he was the first one to be eliminated off of there, too. I don't think I'll ever forgive Spy for what he did!"

"Like Hell is anyone gonna end up forgivin' him!" Engineer then leaned in closer, lowering his voice. "As soon as you get the opportunity to, you need to vote him off. The longer he's here, the bigger of a problem he'll prolly become."

Nervously, Phoenix nodded. "Speaking of Spy... I remember him telling us about something to do with his main goal in this competition, and I've been trying to figure out what that is ever since.

"That goal is either eliminatin' me or eliminatin' JoJo," He nonchalantly reckoned. "Spy and I have some bad blood together, and I wouldn't be surprised if he signed up to be here just to try and sabotage me! But I ain't the only option, because Spy thrives off of gettin' rid of the biggest threat, and Jotaro is exactly that. Not like it matters, since he's in for a shock no matter who he ends up getting off, if that even happens!"

"Did he just refer to Jotaro as... JoJo? I... kind of like it." - Phoenix Wright.

"How come?" Asked Tails.

"Can't tell, but let's leave it as a potential surprise," Dell grinned. "Anyhow, I'm not a fan of talkin' drama non-stop. What are you fellas gonna do with that million?"

Phoenix sheepishly shrugged. "Well, there are plenty of things I can do! But, err, I haven't really figured it out yet. A million dollars is a lot of money..."

"Money isn't too much of a motivation for me due to my wealth," Peach admitted. "But I'm excited to see what that Luxorium Hotel place is all about!"

"Yeah, I'm more excited to invite Sonic and Knuckles to the hotel than the money, but I could use it for some machine parts," Tails explained.

Engineer immediately widened his eyes, turning to the fox. "You build machinery too? At your age?!"

He proudly nodded his head. "Fully functioning planes and useful technology for friends are what I usually create. What about you?"

"Sentry turrets, fully-workin' teleporters, and a machine that dispenses healin' and ammo to other mercenaries," the Texan listed. "Just when I thought we had a lot in common, you suddenly make us look like the same person in two different bodies!"

Peach, as happy as she was to see their friendship bloom, was a little concerned over the list. "Ammunition and sentry turrets?"

"I work in some dangerous territory," he admitted. "I build those machines to keep me and others safe and sound. Things can get quite... err... how do you say this without gettin' censored... violent?"

"That sounds rough," Phoenix empathized.

Engineer chuckled. "Yep, always gotta have a shottie or a pistol on me at all times. Sometimes I even find myself whackin' the pesky intruder to his last breath with my good ol' wrench."

"A little too much detail there..." Peach informed.

Even though he was interested, Tails couldn't help but agree. "Yeah..."

"Whacking a guy across the face with a wrench doesn't sound that violent," admitted Phoenix. "Maybe all of those murder cases I've been involved with have hardened me."

For the rest of the time spent as a group, they continued to discuss their usual lives, hobbies, and interesting events that had happened in their careers. Drama talk was few and far between outside of a few references to certain survivors.

As for the second group, a much less grim atmosphere was present, especially between Luigi and Little Mac.

"Luigi, how are ya?!" He questioned, high-fiving him. "Glad you're finally back in the same tribe as me, and the same goes for Jotaro!"

"Umm... what about Jotaro?" The plumber asked.

Whilst Little Mac had purposefully avoided mentioning Jotaro, the consequences of that choice immediately began to haunt him, starting with a feeling of dread as he felt Jotaro's eyes burn against the back of his head. "O-ooh, I almost forgot about him! Thanks for the reminder, Luigi."

The burning feeling subsided as Jotaro's gaze became less intense; the marine biologist went back to minding his own business, leaning against a particularly large and pointy rock.

"Hey, that reminds me... we found a new nickname for Jotaro! Thank Kirby for this one," he requested. "He calls him JoJo, and we can't get that name stuck out of our heads!"

Jotaro's eyes suddenly shot open fully, he hadn't heard that name in a long while, but that was definitely a nickname he had been called frequently in the past. To hear it again was shocking, but he didn't show too much of a reaction outside of the just-mentioned eye widen.

Luigi laughed, giving an affirmative thumbs up. "I-a like it!"

"That does roll off the tongue pretty well," admitted Samus.

"Call me whatever; that nickname isn't new to me," he said, giving the smallest smile his face could muster.

"Sure thing, JoJo!" Little Mac responded, still giving a toothy smile over the ironically friendly nickname he had given to this cold, intimidating Stand User.

When the warm moment came to an end, Samus decided to prod Jotaro with a few questions she wanted to check. "Jotaro, you had to use an idol to counter Spy's attack on you, correct?"

"That's true, but why do you ask?" He cross-examined her, more suspicious than curious.

Fortunately, the reason was seemingly nothing to worry about. "Well, thanks to Papyrus, I managed to deliver him some payback for the things he did throughout his stay a few days ago."

"And what was that?" Jotaro asked, now more curious than suspicious.

"Papyrus accidentally tainted our tribe's ration with rice, so I managed to find Spy the day he was hiding from you and the others, and I gave him the food." She grinned over the memory. "Might as well tell you and the others."

"PFFFFFT, NO WAY!" Little Mac wheezed, grabbing his stomach and cackling as if he were clinically insane. "You really did that?!"

She nodded gently, dead serious. "Ask him, if you're that curious."

"I'll take your word for it!" He said, still giggling to himself.

"Samus was this cold, lame chick back in the Tropics. When did she get so cool? She had the audacity to walk halfway across the desert, hungry, and give Spy her ruined food?! That's priceless!" - Little Mac.

Luigi, on the other hand, was a little confused. "Wait, so did you just give your bowl of-a rice to him?"

"Well, if someone gets eliminated, Alexa doesn't bother removing one of the bowls, so I had a few spares," she clarified.

He bobbed his head slowly with understanding. "Oooh! I didn't know that."

"Looks like Alexa's laziness finally paid off," Little Mac joked.

"Careful. What if he looks back through the-a footage of-a this episode?" Warned Luigi.

"Then... er... he'll probably look at me funny a few days from now?" He predicted, shrugging. "It's not like he'll eliminate me from a little mockery... r-right?"

"No," Samus reassured.

Right after the quick reply, Mac gave a sigh of relief. "Phew, that's good then!"

From that point, the conversation was rather slow, with small talk over previous challenges being thrown about here and there. Overall, there was nothing of note.

Finally, the third group: Meta Knight and Kirby, purposefully distanced themselves from the other survivors, though it was more Meta Knight's idea than Kirby's.

"Well, Kirby; it looks like we finally meet," he said coldly. "Things would have been made much easier if we had the chance to interact before the merge, but we'll have to make do with starting our alliance now."

Though it was a sudden thing for him to say, Kirby went along with it almost immediately. "Poyo!" He agreed.

"You do remember the agreement we made before we were taken here?" He checked.

"Poyo!"

"Very well... as long as we remain under the radar and try to win as many challenges as we can, we might be able to make it to the Finale together, and it's smooth sailing from there." Meta Knight explained. "I can't see many people targeting you any time soon, but it won't be long before I become a target to the others."

Kirby frowned, though he couldn't argue with what he said. Meta Knight wasn't ruthless or evil, but he was certainly cold and didn't bother with alliances outside of the one he managed to make with Kirby before the competition had even begun. This meant he was a prime target for voting, especially with his speed and wiseness being so prominent.

"Now, before we give anyone suspicions, you can go join up with any group you want. As for me, I'll be cooking the meal," he explained, parting ways with his ally.

Both of them fully split off from one another, Kirby heading off to the group under the shelter whilst Meta Knight went into the empty circle of tents and began cooking in the very middle.

He poured a plentiful amount of rice and beans into the large cooking pot, filled it with water, and quickly stirred it before going down to light the fire. It would normally take a lot of work to get a fire going, but Meta Knight proved his competence by setting most of the firewood ablaze in only a couple of minutes. After giving another vigorous stir to the food, he went to join the group relaxing by the rocks.

"Hey Meta Knight!" Luigi waved.

"Greetings," he replied. "The meal should be ready within thirty minutes."

Jotaro raised an eyebrow. "That quickly?"

"Take a look at the fire I've started." Meta Knight pointed over to the fire, barely visible between two of the small tents. It was raging.

The fact he accomplished it was rather impressive, but Little Mac and Luigi weren't too impressed. "You should have seen the fires made when JoJo had to cook the meal!" He recalled.

Even though what he said was intriguing, the odd nickname he used caught Meta Knight's attention even more. "Jo...Jo?"

"Yeah! Like, JO-taro Ku-JO," he spelled out.

Sadly for Little Mac, the swordsman failed to share the same enthusiasm over the pun. "What a terrible nickname."

"Suit yourself..." Mac shrugged.

"What was the conversation with Kirby all about?" Interrogated Jotaro, all of a sudden. "Nobody here can accurately communicate with him, so for you to drag him to one side raises my suspicions."

"Pretending that we don't know each other would be a foolish thing to do, so I won't lie about that," Meta Knight proclaimed. "Even with my equipment and clothing on, I look identical to him. However, what I said to him was simply a congratulation and nothing more."

Luigi smiled. "That's-a nice! Wait... but why did you-a feel the need to pull him aside?"

He decided to lie further. "I thought it would have been a rude thing to do."

"Well, don't ever feel embarrassed over having to-a do it!" He assured, his smile growing wider.

Yet, due to his poor wording, Meta Knight took things the wrong way. "Embarrassed?! It was simply out of common courtesy! Many people choose to congratulate others in private,"

"Waaaah! I-a didn't mean it like that," Luigi frantically apologized. "Sorry!"

"Good," he muttered. "Now, I should probably go back to stirring the food, otherwise it'll clump together."

"Great call," the plumber complimented, still slightly on-guard due to the sudden snap.

"He looked very calm throughout that-a whole exchange until then... I'm-a still in shock! Mama mia..." - Luigi.

Meta Knight marched off and back to where he came from: the fire. He checked to make sure that it was still as strong as before, and then stirred the near-bubbling food some more, preventing the rice and beans from sticking together, which would only make serving the portions a bigger hassle.

Until it looked ready to serve, he stood by it and monitored the flame and pot contents, stirring every minute. Once it was done, he drained away the water, leaving all of the food in the pot. He put small amounts of each seasoning into the food and mixed it via tossing and further stirring. After the flavors combined, he served it up into bowls and went back to the group by the rocks.

"The meal's ready; we'll be eating under the shelter," he informed. "All of the food is still by the fire, so bring it over whilst I wake up Spy."

"Yes sir!" Saluted Little Mac.

They ran over to the fire alongside Meta Knight, but instead of helping them, he peered into the tent Spy was sleeping in.

"Wake up," he ordered.

Slowly but surely, Spy's eyes opened, and he turned his head to see Meta Knight peeking into his tent. "G-gh?!" He choked. "Could you be any more freakish with that mask of yours?!"

"The food's under the shelter," Meta Knight said. "Though, I imagine there's one portion left by the fire, just for you."

"Nobody bothered to take it in for me?!" He queried.

"Take a wild guess why."

After a few seconds of thinking, he realized and rolled his eyes. "When will you people get over what I did?"

Both of them walked over to the shelter, Spy grabbing his bowl along the way. They sat around the table and dined together, as a tribe.

"Poyo!" Praised Kirby, inhaling the food bizarrely fast.

"How does Kirby manage to eat so darn fast? In the blink of an eye, the critter manages to eat an entire portion of food. I get the portions aren't big, but it still takes me some time to get to the bottom of the bowl!" - Engineer.

"It wasn't too much work, but thank you nonetheless," Meta Knight nodded.

After eating their portions, they decided to ditch two separate groups and stick together as one, talking casually about random things that came to mind, past survivors and challenges, and their own personal lives. These days aren't as eventful as the days that proceed it, but the survivors knew that they had to make the most out of these relaxing moments, as massive challenges and other prize-hungry survivors would continue to serve as obstacles on their path to winning the cash and hotel prize...
