RedHood123 suggested an AVGN episode-based story. Pepe, Penelope, and Johnny Bravo play Chex Quest. Enjoy.

Pepe and Penelope were waiting for their new PC to finish loading, when Johnny Bravo came in with a shopping bag.

"Hey guys." He informed. "Squirrely and Pepper were trying a weird cereal. And I picked up a box of it."

Johnny took the cereal box out of the bag. It was Green Onion Chex.

"Chex?" Penelope asked. "But it's green. I haven't heard of green Chex."

"Is that from South Korea, Monsieur Bravo?" Pepe asked.

"Yeah." Johnny replied. "Let's try it."

Johnny was pouring the cereal into bowls/ As he was pouring a bowl for himself, a disk in a pack fell out.

"What's this?" Johnny asked.

"That's le game from 1996." Pepe pointed out.

Penelope took a spoonful.

"A game based on cereal?" She asked. "How weird."

Penelope tried the cereal, looked disgusted, then ran to a bathroom.

"I never knew it could be so bad." Pepe informed.

He and Johnny tried the cereal, and both had the same reactions as Penelope.

(Half an hour later)

Pepe, Penelope, and Johnny came back into the room. Their faces looked ashen.

"Let's just try the game." Penelope suggested.

"Good idea, mon amour." Pepe replied.

They booted up the game, and were surprised by the graphics.

"This game looks similar to Doom." Penelope informed.

"Except it's with cereal and slime monsters." Johnny added.

"These graphics are, how you say, very smooth." Pepe added. "Good job picking this up, Monsieur Bravo."

So game had a lot of weird powerups that were based on the original Doom games. One of the weapons being a spork that bared a resemblance to the chainsaw (yes, you've read that correctly).

"This game is so weird." Penelope informed.

"I know." Pepe agreed. "It's very similar to Doom."

"Hmm, I've been thinking." Johnny informed. "Perhaps one day, I should take you two to meet Pops, Carl, Suzy, and my mama."

"Zhat would be wonderful, Monsieur Bravo." Pepe replied.

Suddenly, Penelope somehow lost all health points.

"What killed me?!" She exclaimed.

"Cheer up, Penelope." Johnny replied. "It's just a game. Come on, let's order pizza."
