Episode Name: Time's Up
Episode Summary: While in Chaotic, Tom gets contacted by an old man who clams to be Peyton and he says that Sarah needs their help. Tom and Kaz transport to the location to find out what happened to Peyton and Sarah. They meet a new creature named Rhadon who had warned Peyton and Sarah not to enter Kirvak Mound. Rhadon also warns them not to go looking for their friends. Tom and Kaz thanks him for the warning, but they decided to go looking for their friends anyway.
When they find old Peyton, he explains that the cave somehow messes with people's "personal timeline" making their bodies age or de-age by years. He also says they need to find Sarah before she "ages-out." While searching, Tom and Kaz find out Kirvak Mound's tunnels lead to different points in time. They find Sarah in prehistoric Perim when the location was a tropical forest. Instead of turning older Sarah has turned into a toddler. Not only is her body younger but so is her mind and the boys have a hard time getting her to listen. They are attacked by creatures, but thankfully Rhadon shows up to save them and leaves after they are safe. However Sarah runs off once again. They find her in a time where the location is nothing but ocean. Rhadon shows up again to explain that this time period is in the future where all of Perim is underwater and that he has made it his personal mission to find out how to stop this possible future from becoming a reality.
Season 2, Episode 9
Time flows like water
And in here the currents change.
Drowning is common.
Notes: I always thought Kirvak Mound to be a very interesting place and wondered why the show never used it again. It's also kind of odd that we never hear of other creatures using it for personal gain. After-all, Lord Von Bloot had tried going back in time through Dranikus Threshold to conquer Perim. Wouldn't it have been better to use Kirvak Mound instead since, he would have been able to travel back to his own time if he needed to? Maybe Kirvak Mound just isn't well-known among the Tribes. It might also be dangerous since people could "age-out" as Peyton put it.
Question: What do you think about Rhadon and Kirvak Mound?
