1 year later
(Emily's pov)
It's been a year since everything happened. Me and Ali have been together since the day she told me she loved me, it's our 1 year anniversary today and I can't wait for Ali to get home from work, so I can see her. I hear the front door open and close.
"Babe is that you" I call turning towards the door.
"Yeah" she replied as she rounded the corner to the living room, I ran towards her pulling her into my arms giving her a sweet kiss.
"Have you missed me" she laughed.
"Of course I have" I giggled.
"I have something for you" I continued as I pull a long rectangular box out of my back pocket giving it to her. She opened the box to reveal a necklace with a locket attached to it that read always, she opened the locket which had a picture of me and her in it.
"I love it, thank you Em" she said with a bright smile.
"I have something for you too but I have something to say first" she said, she pulled out a small black box from her hand bag and looked me in the eyes.
"Emily from the first day we met you were nothing but kind to me even when I was a bitch to you, when i was a horrible human being you saw a beautiful soul, you were the only one who ever stuck by me, cared for me and helped me whenever I needed it and all I ask is that you promise to do that for the rest of our lives, so what do you say killer, will you marry me" she said as she opened the box showing me a diamond ring nestled inside it.
"Yes, yes a thousand times yes" I answered with so much excitement, she placed the ring on my finger and pulled me in for the most passionate kiss we've ever shared, after a few heavenly minutes we pulled away.
"I love you Alison" I whisper.
"I love you too Emily" she replied.
