Episode Name: "From the Deep" (episode 52 and 53 have the same name according to Wikipedia).

Episode Summary: After thinking it over, Chaor decides Phelphor is lying. Seeing that Chaor will not help him, Phelphor escapes and goes to talk to Lord Von Bloot, only other Underworlder who can help him with his mission. Von Bloot sends his army, but Chaor fights back with his own soldiers. However, Chaor is too late to stop Phelphor from freeing the M'arrillians.

Season 2, Episode 13

Trust is difficult

To get from Underworlders.

But some can be fools.

Notes: I feel like I should explain this one. Chaor didn't trust Phelphor and believed he was lying about the M'arrillians having the Cothica, and rightfully so. But Lord Von Bloot seemed to have believed Phelphor and quickly acted before Chaor could stop him from opening the Doors of the Deep Mines. In hindsight, it seems like Von Bloot was very foolish to help Phelphor. Of course, Phelphor might have used his mind abilities to make Von Bloot believe him, but I don't think that happened since Phelphor didn't seem to use any mind control on Chaor to get him to believe him. To me, it just seems like Von Bloot is so power hundgry that he is welling to do foolish things without thinking them through. He doesn't seem stupid, just maybe impulsive which might be why Chaor is the Underworld Ruler and not Von Bloot.

Question: Do you think the M'arrillians used mind control on Von Bloot?
