Episode Name: "Tale of Two Toms"

Episode Summary: Tom goes on a scan quest to the Overworld Barracks for a scan of an Ice Cloak. But he gets spotted by the Overworlds and has to run for his life. Another Chaotic player is there so they both start escaping together. This other player is clearly better at parkour than Tom. Even though Tom tried his best, he had to port away before getting attacked. Back at the Port Court, the other player meets back up with Tom. They then learn they have the same name. "Cool" Tom then meets Kaz, Sarah, and Peyton. He quickly becomes a part of the friend group, much to Tom's ire. It seems Tom's friends don't want to hang out with him, but make all the time in the world for this new Tom. During a Chaotic match, Tom has had enough and makes a deal with Cool Tom. If he wins, then Cool Tom can't be friends with his friends anymore, and if he loses then he will give up his friends. Cool Tom agrees. It's a close match, but Tom wins. His friends tell him off for making such a stupide bet, but they don't stay mad for long.

Notes: Before talking about what is in this episode, I want to talk about what isn't in it. The last episode was about M'arriallians, the long lost Tribe. So it's a bit odd that they are not mentioned in this episode since they are such a big game changer for Perim and Chaotic. I don't mind that the episode isn't all about the M'arriallians, but I think they should have at least mentioned them at some point. Like maybe at the beginning so the audience can have a better idea what is going on in the background.

But anyways, the episode was okay but I didn't really liked how it ended. Started good. It was understandable why Tom was upset and felt like he was being replaced. I'm not even surprised he would bet his friendships on one Chaotic match. Tom is an impulsive character after all. But I just didn't like how his friends agreed to stop hanging out with Cool Tom when Cool Tom didn't do anything bad to them. Only bad thing he did was agreeing to battle Tom for his friends. I think it would have ended better if the writers added a scene with Cool Tom talking to them after the match and agreeing that he shouldn't hang out with them anymore or at least back off a bit. Maybe he has other friends that weren't around for a few weeks and now they're back so he wants to hang out with them. Something like that.

Question: Do you think Tom had the right to be jealous?
