*Heartfelt moment between father and daughter coming your way, and then BREAKOUT!*

Rosetta went over her plan and looked at her family.

"I know how risky this may seem, but I believe we can do it. We have to if we want to get back home." She said.

"It's a great plan, honey." Woody said.

"But it is extremely risky. Jessie said. I mean getting across the playground is one thing, but getting rid of the monkey, that's going to be a hassle. Buzz should go with Slinky. It's Woody he wants, sorry bro."

"No you're right. He's directing his attacks on me and if he sees that I'm not in the room, he'll go after one of you. I'm going to let that happen."

"But you've been through enough, Woody." Hamm said.

"With the slash on my side, I am in no shape to try and wrestle a monkey. Woody said. Buzz should go. He's stronger than I am at this moment."

"Hey, you're the stronger one here, Sheriff. Buzz said. You've been beaten down multiple times, but you stand your ground every time."

"It's what a good leader does, uncle. Rosetta said. A stubborn one, but a good one nonetheless."

"Rosetta." Woody scolded.

"Fine. Uncle Buzz can go with Slinky. But if we're going to do this, we need to do this tonight. Andy leaves for college tomorrow."

"Tomorrow?" They all gasped.

"Well it's settled then, we do this tonight, after everyone leaves. Slinky and I will head straight to the office, right Slink?" Buzz said.

"You betcha, Buzz! We will take care of the monkey, and get you that key!" Slinky exclaimed. They all cheered.

"Uh oh, their lining up." Hamm said, looking out the window.

"Recess is over!" Rex cried. They all hesitated, not wanting to go back.

"It will be okay, guys. Let's just get through the rest of the day and then we'll put operation break-out into action tonight." Woody said. They all stared at him and smiled. "What?"

"Now there's the sheriff we all know and love." Buzz said, patting him on the and the others went out of the loft, leaving Woody and Rosetta.

"You're really going back out there?" Rosetta said softly. Woody turned to her, getting down on one knee. He went to touch her cheek, but she moved away. "No. Daddy no, please, you can't go back out there. I saw what Lotso did to you. And now you want to let him hurt you more? No, I can't watch you get hurt again, I just can't!" Her voice trembled, her hands shook. Woody took one of them in his.

"I'm sorry you had to see that, sweet pea, but I have to go. Lotso will kill me if I don't." Woody said.

"No, please. Stay with me. I need you. I don't want to lose you." This time, when he placed his hand on her cheek, she didn't shy away. Instead she closed her eyes and placed her hand on his.

"Oh sweetie, hey. Look at me." She did. "You will never lose me. Nothing, and I mean nothing, will ever take me away from you. If that were to happen, I would fight to the death to get to you. Lotso may have beaten me a few times, but he is not taking me away from you. No one ever will, I promise. Okay?" She nodded, and then wrapped her arms around him. Woody held his daughter, soothing her by rubbing her back.

"I love you, dad." She said softly.

"Oh honey, I love you too, so, so much." He held her a few seconds more before pulling away. "I have to go, promise me you'll stay here. Do not move from this loft. We'll come get you after everyone leaves. Oh, by the way, I have something of yours." He pulled his bandana up and she saw her ring. He went to take it off and give it to her, but she stopped him.

"No. Keep it with you, for protection." He smiled and put it back. "You need to go, dad. I won't move from this spot, I swear." Woody kissed her forehead and left just as the bell rang and the kids rushed back into the room. Rosetta pulled back the curtain and watched anxiously as her family was yet again tortured by the kids. Soon she thought. Soon we'll be out of here.

The hours went by so slowly, but at long last, the daycare closed for the day and both kids and teachers went home. Andy's toys groaned, getting up from their positions on the floor. Woody slowly sat up. The tape on his side had stayed put, but his body was ten times as sore as it was before. He rested his head against a shelf when Jessie came over.

"Woody, Buzz is in position." She said. They looked up and saw Buzz peeking out of one of the titles. He gave Woody a thumbs up and Woody nodded back.

"Okay. Operation Break out is a go." He said, getting up.

"You sure you want to do this? Lotso won't go easy on you."

"I know. But for this to work, I need to do this." He saw the look his sister was giving him. "I'll be okay, Jessie." She nodded, but still gripped his arm when the bathroom door opened.

"That was better, sheriff. Lotso said. Much better. Looks like you're finally starting to follow the rules. Keep that up and you'll be able to come over to the butterfly room."

"So that I can stand at your side, watching you torture more incoming toys? I'll pass." Woody said. Lotso glared at him.

"Are you talking back, sheriff? That's one of the rules. No back talk!"

"It's time someone talks back to you, you psychotic maniac. You enjoy torturing toys and seeing them get hurt, well that ends here, Lotso. You are done torturing me, terrorizing my family, and running this daycare like it's a prison!" Lotso grabbed him by the neck.

"Don't you tell me how to run things here, you pathetic ragdoll! You picked the wrong time to stand up to me, sheriff. You've seen what I can do to you. You haven't spent a night in the sandbox yet. Tonight, you'll be buried in it!" He threw him over to Twitch. "Tie him up and have Big Baby take him to the box. Ken, get them in their cells." Lotso left the room, his henchmen following behind with Woody. Up in the ceiling tiles, Buzz looked over at Slinky.

"Oh nelly, that could have gone better." Slinky said.

"It got Lotso distracted, and that was the plan. Come on, to the office." Buzz said. They moved down through the dark ceiling until they found the security office. They opened up a panel and saw a monkey doll focused on several screens, all cameras placed throughout the daycare. In each of the monkey's hands were two small cymbals. Slinky took hold of Buzz's feet and slowly lowered him down, a brown burlap bag in his hand. Buzz swung down to put the bag over him, but the monkey screeched, causing both him and Slinky to fall. Buzz crashed into the monkey, knocking the microphone to the ground. The monkey hissed at Buzz and went for the mic. Buzz used the cord to trip the monkey. He jumped on top of him, holding back his arms so he couldn't crash his cymbals.

"Get the tape, Slink!" The space ranger yelled. Slink went onto the desk and grabbed a tape dispenser. The monkey screeched, and Buzz quickly slapped a piece of tape over its mouth. They wrapped him tightly with tape and shut him in a drawer.

"Go get the key." Slinky told Buzz. Buzz jumped on the desk, searching the papers on the bulletin board. He found it behind a yellow sheet of paper.

"Yes! Phase one is complete!" Buzz said happily. "Let Jessie know to get ready!"

*One thing I should mention. Even though I have Buzz and Jessie as Rosetta's aunt and uncle, they are not together just yet. There're have been flirting and hand holding, but no kisses yet. Maybe I'll throw something in next chapter. ;) *
