*Names like baby girl, sweetie, they are just silly nicknames given to kids. Rose is a shortened version for Rosetta. Now for the part of TS3 we were all holding our breath during! Also, I'm doing a lot of posting because it is almost 1am here in IL, and I am wide awake!*

The toys traveled down the conveyor belt, panicking and talking over each other.

"My boys!" Mrs. Potato Head whined.

"What do we do now?" Rex cried.

"Woody, what are you doing?" Jessie asked. Her brother was trying to run against the belt back towards the entrance. Buzz ran after him, pulling him back.

"No. No! Let go of me. I have to go find Rose. I have to find her, Buzz!" Woody cried.

"Hey, quit it! Woody stop!" Buzz said, turning him around. "Hey, let's focus on finding a way out of here first, and then we will go look for Rosetta. Okay. Remember, we stay toge..."

"Woah! Fellas, help!" Slinky cried as he was yanked upward onto a fast moving belt.

"Hold on, Slinky!" Woody yelled. They all run along the trash to keep up with him. A hammer is pulled out from under Hamm's feet and flies up to the belt, nearly hitting Slinky. Soon, other items start to fly up, sticking to the belt.

"It's a magnet! Watch out!" Jessie yells.

"Umm guys, you might want to take a look at this!" Slinky said. He was pointing to the end of the belt where a shredder was tearing up the trash. Buzz rushed over to a metal lunch box.

"Quick, grab something metal!" He cried. One by one, they each grabbed onto something that was metal and got out of the shredders way. Once on the other side, they all drop down into the shredded trash. Woody was the last to do so, but something slammed into him, sending him face first into the trash. It was darker where he landed and he couldn't see anything. The cowboy tried to get up, but felt a sharp tip of a knife sticking him in the back. A rough paw pulled his hands behind him.

"Going somewhere, Woody?" Woody froze at the sound of Lotso's voice. "Walk, slowly." Woody stayed still. Lotso pushed the knife in his back a little bit harder, making the cowboy wince.

"Ah! Okay, I'm walking." Woody whispered. He started walking when he heard a small gasp.

"Woody!" He saw his sister rushing to his rescue. Lotso moved the knife to Woody's neck and Buzz held Jessie back.

"Stay right where you are, cowgirl. You don't want your precious brother to lose his head, now do you?" He laughed. He started walking around them, pressing the knife against Woody's neck. "You thought you all got the best of me, didn't you? Think it was going to be so easy getting rid of old Lotso, huh? I have been playing this game for years and I always win."

"Let him go, Lotso!" Buzz shouted.

"Not a chance, Lightyear! He's coming with me. See that light at the end of the belt?" They all turned and saw an orange light at the end. "That ain't daylight, folks. That's an incinerator where all of you will meet a traumatic demise!" He started to climb a wall ladder on the side. "Take a good last look at your friends, sheriff. You get to watch them perish!" Woody watched as his family started running the other way, away from the incinerator. The cowboy had had enough. Just before they got onto the ledge, Woody snapped his head back and slammed it into the bear's chin, making him lose his footing and falling backwards. The knife fell out of his hand and into the trash and Woody fell out of his grasp, grabbing onto one of the ladder steps.

"The button, Woody. Hit the button!" Slinky cried. Woody saw a blue light flashing above an emergency stop button. Climbing the ladder, he went to push it when Lotso got in his way.

"Oh no you don't! You're not stopping that belt, sheriff!" Lotso growled. He swiped at Woody, but he ducked. Lotso swung his fist, knocking Woody down. The bear grabbed him by the neck again. "You have been taking the hits for your family all week, Woody. Now, just for that nice little hit, you get to die first!" He brought Woody close to his face. "Where's your kid now, sheriff?" Woody's eyes went wide as Lotso pulled his arm back and threw Woody into the mouth of the incinerator.

"No!" Woody yelled as trash fell around him.

"Woody!" His friends yelled. The belt knocked them into the pit. They each hit the trash pile hard until they stopped on the slope looking down at the fiery inferno.

"Everyone, climb! Climb back up!" Buzz cried. They started to when Rex cried out.

"Buzz, wait! What about Woody?" The dino yelled.

"Where did he go?" Mrs. Potato Head yelled. They looked all around but didn't see their leader anywhere.

"There! I see him! Hamm yelled. He's further down the slope!" They looked down and sure enough, Woody was further down the slope, closer to the flames, trying to climb through the trash.

"Stay here, I'll get him. Slinky, grab onto my feet!" Jessie yelled.

"Absolutely not, Jess. You're not going down there! Buzz said. Slink can hold yours, and you hold onto mine." Jessie agreed and grabbed onto Buzz's feet as he began to crawl through the trash down to Woody. Meanwhile, Woody was having trouble climbing up the slope. Everytime he moved, the trash moved underneath him, making him slip and fall. The rip in his side wasn't making it any easier either. He fell into the pile for the fifth time and decided to quit when he saw Buzz coming towards him.

"Buzz? Buzz!" Woody said, coughing a little.

"Woody, climb up and grab my hand!" Buzz said. Woody did as he was told, but failed every time. He slipped further down and jumped when he heard the inferno popping behind him. Woody turned back to Buzz, and Buzz saw the sheer look of terror on his friend's face.

"I, I can't make it, Buzz. Go back. I'll find another way out."

"You can do it, partner. Just jump!" Woody looked at Buzz, back at the inferno, and then back to Buzz. He nodded and tried again to get his footing. This time, he was able to get a hold of something and began to climb up to Buzz. The fire behind him popped again and Woody used all the strength he had left and jumped forward, his fingers just barely latching onto Buzz's. Buzz pulled him up, his hand fully clasped around Woody's and shouted up to Jessie. "I have him, pull back! Pull back!" The Potato Heads pulled Slinky up, Jessie pulled Buzz up, and Buzz pulled Woody up to their spot on the slope.

"He's okay!" Rex cried. Jessie hugged her brother just as another pop made them all jump. Buzz pulled Jessie behind him.

"What do we do?" Jessie yelled. Buzz turned to her, looks into her eyes, and takes her hand in his. The realization hit her and she turned to Bullseye and took hold of one of his hooves. One by one, the others took each other's hands until Woody was the last one. Woody turned to look at Buzz, who extended his other hand out to him. This was it, there was no way out. Shaking, Woody takes Buzz's hand and for a moment, they share a glance, one unspoken word shared through thought: Together. Woody reached over and took Slinky's hand, thus closing the circle. They stare down at the flames, heat rising towards them, hitting their faces. Soon it becomes too much and the all huddle together, eyes closed shut. Woody takes one last look at the fire and shuts his eyes, and whispers one final thing in his mind. I love you, Rosetta.

*DUN, DUN, DUN!*
