*I am so so sorry it's taken me so long to update this. Was trying to finish it, but something else came up. I so sorry!*

Suddenly a light flooded over the group, making Woody look up. A giant claw makes its way down to them, plunging into the trash around them. The claw closes around them, and begins to rise back up. Everyone looks around confused.

"What the heck?" Rex asked. The claw spins to face the control booth where the little green aliens toggle with the joystick.

"The Clawww!" They exclaimed. Mrs. Potato Head smiled, happy to know her boys were alright.

"Woody, look!" Jessie said, pointing. He looked to the right, and saw his daughter smiling back at him. He placed a hand on his bandanna, gripping the small ring and sighed with relief. The claw moved again out a window and the aliens dumped them safely on solid ground. They spilled out, groaning, but thankful to be alive.

"You know, looking back, I think I'd actually prefer the attic after today." Potato Head said. His wife agreed, as did Slinky and Hamm. They all got to their feet. Buzz and Jessie sat up, still holding hands. Jessie looked over at Buzz and smiled. Buzz smiled back, helped her to her feet, leaned in, and kissed her cheek, making her aliens walked over to their parents.

"You saved our lives." Mrs. Potato Head said.

"And we are eternally grateful. My boys!" Potato Head cried, hugging all three of them.

"Daddy!" Woody heard as he got to his feet. Rosetta was running toward him. He met her halfway and she jumped into his open arms. Woody spun her, holding her close.

.

"My sweet Rose. My sweet, beautiful, brave, Rose." Woody said. He placed her on the ground and took her hands in his, shaking his head. "I never realized."

"What?" Rosetta asked him.

"How strong and mature you have become. I've been so blind with everything going on at home, that I never realized."

"It's okay, dad."

"No it's not. I may be a leader and have a room full of toys to take care of, but you are my daughter. You should also be my top priority. I should've never made the decision of going to the attic for you. That is your choice, and whatever you choose, I'll support you no matter what." Rose smiled and hugged him.

"Hey, where's that dirt bag Lotso?" Slinky asked.

"Yeah. I'd like to loosen his stitching!" Hamm snapped.

"Forget it guys. Woody said, picking Rosetta up. He's not worth it." As he said that, in another part of the dump, Lotso sneaks around a corner and tries to make a break for the exit when a truck comes down the path. He freezes and drops to the ground. A man sees him and picks him up.

"Hey! I had one of these when I was a kid!" He said happily. He smelled Lotso's stomach and sighed. "Strawberries." Next thing the bear knew, the man was trying him to the front of the truck where three other toys were. The truck started moving again and Lotso began to panic.

"Hey buddy! A toy frog shouted to him. You might want to keep your mouth shut!" He and the others laughed as Lotso shut his mouth. Back on the other side of the dump, the gang rushed along.

"Come on, Woody. Let's get you home." Jessie said.

"Yeah, move those legs, college boy!" Buzz laughed. Woody stopped and looked at Rosetta, who was still in his arms. He shook his head.

"Guys, hold on a minute." He said, making them turn. "Are you sure you're okay with this? I mean, maybe the attic isn't so great after all. I want this to be your choice and I don't know what will happen with Andy..."

"Whatever happens with Andy, will happen, Woody. Jessie said. We are Andy's toys, forever and always."

"And we'll be there for him, together. No matter what." Buzz said. That made the Sheriff smile big.

"I just hope he hasn't left yet." Woody said.

"He might by the time we get back. Hamm said. He lives halfway across town."

"We're never going to get home!" Rex cried. Suddenly they heard something and turned to see a worker dancing along to music in his headphones, getting into one of the trucks. The gang looked at one another and rushed over to the truck. It took them straight to Andy's house. Once there, they cleaned themselves up with the garden house and scaled the side back into Andy's room. Everything was just about packed up. They had made it. The gang went over to the attic box and Woody looked up at the college box.

"The attic is going to be very different without you there, bro." He turned and saw his sister. He went to her.

"You'll be okay up there though, right? You will be able to get out of the box." Woody said.

"I know, I know. It's just, it will be weird not seeing your ugly mug everyday." She hit his arm. He chuckled.

"Love you too, Jess." Jessie smiled and then jumped into his arms.

"Love you more, Woodster. Visit often, ya here?" Woody nodded.

"Daddy?" Rosetta said. Woody kneeled down to look at her. "I think, I mean, would it be okay if I stayed with Aunt Jessie, Uncle Buzz, and the others in the attic?" Woody was taken back, but his eyes softened.

"If that is your decision, then I support your choice, sweetheart. May I ask why?"

"I realized something these past few days. None of this was ever about being played with again, it was about staying together as a family. Being with one another and enjoying the time we had, however long it would be. I've realized I can wait to be played with, as long as our family is right there with me. Because wherever our family is, well that's where I'd like to be." She took her father's hands. "You have kept us together as a family for over four years, dad, and we will stay that way for as long as Andy is around. And even though you are going to college, you are and always will be, the biggest part of our family. A leader first but a father, brother and friend forever. No matter where you go, your family is here and they will always welcome you home." Woody looked at her, both astonished and speechless at her words. He shook his head and kissed each one of her hands.

"You, you are so lucky I can't produce tears, because I would be a complete mess right now." He said laughing. Rosetta laughed too. He pulled her towards him and held her tight. "I love you forever, my Rose."

"I love you for always, daddy." She said, gripping his vest. She pulled away and Woody took off his handkerchief, sliding her ring off.

"To protect you and remember me by." He placed it back on her tiny finger. She smiled at him, kissed his cheek, and then ran to her aunt. Woody looked up and saw Buzz. "Buzz...this isn't goodbye."

"I know, partner. We'll be okay." Buzz extended his hand and Woody took it. They shook hands and pulled in for a manly hug. "You know where to find us, cowboy." Woody nodded. They then helped the others into the attic box, Woody said goodbye to the rest of the gang, and then went up to the college box. He shared one last look with his family before they closed the folds of the box. Woody sighed and climbed into the box just as he heard Mom's voice behind the door.

*Awe, so Rosetta chose to stay with the others, and Woody accepted that. Because he wants what's best for her. So sweet. What will happen next? I'll try not to keep you guys in suspense for too long ;)*
