I own nothing not even this computer. Review.

Chloe glanced at Sabrina in confusion. She glanced back at the board and then back at the red head. Something clearly wasn't right. But Chloe just couldn't put her fine manicured finger on it. And it was starting to bug her. She knew Sabrina about as well enough as she could know anyone.

And something was definitely different about her. Chloe prided herself on being able to identify everything high fashion, expensive or chic. Which also meant that she could never identify anything that Sabrina wore. Because it was so cheap. It just descended into a strange sort of haze of pathetic poor person.

So obviously it wasn't her clothes that were standing out.

Her posture perhaps? Sabrina was sitting ram rod straight. Hands folded in front of her, respectfully. Her toes doing that annoying thing where she puts them right on their tips.

No the way that she held herself hadn't changed. She was still a doormat who was willing to jump up and be at beck and call. It was one of the many things that Chloe enjoyed about her. It made it easier to think of her as less of an equal and more of an assistant.

So what the hell was different? They had all gotten back from their break and suddenly Sabrina was sitting there like a statue. Not even taking notes! How was Chloe going to cheat her way through her next few asingments without said notes?

"Psst. Sabrina? What's the matter with you?" Chloe whispered none too quietly to her seat mate and nudged her aggressively, Sabrina didn't move an inch. She just continued to look straight ahead into space. Her face vaguely red, maybe she was thirsty? Or sick? After all Sabrina did drink from the water fountain like some sort of a filthy commoner. Chloe only drank sparkling bottled water mixed with gold flakes. Like a real queen would.

Chloe went back to side eyeing Sabrina and tried to glance between the teacher and Sabrina. It was much harder then she was expecting. Chloe did not do well at multitasking.

Then it slowly started to dawn on her. Sabrina had a white flower tucked in her shirt pocket. It actually looked very nice and was positioned in a good way to highlight Sabrina's cheeks and eyes.
"Who asked you out to the dance? Why didn't you tell me?" Chloe hissed to Sabrina who stiffened even more as she noticed how close the blonde was to them.

"Chloe, Sabrina, could you two please leave your side conversations to outside of the classroom or exclusively to group work? This is going to be tested later." Madame Bustier said very firmly as she turned towards the two. Chloe frowned and sat backwards in irritation. She hated it whenever people treated her like some sort of filthy child and ordered her around!

She went back to stewing, her mind slowly clicking and trying to figure out who the heck had asked Sabrina out. The list came to a screeching halt after a solid zero results. After all Sabrina was small, and mousy, and a push over and did whatever she was told. IT was actually almost pathetic if it wasn't so useful for Chloe.

It couldn't be Nathaniel. That little redhead was going out with whatever his name was from another class, the nonbinary boy. It couldn't be anyone from outside of their class, Chloe was Sabrina's only friend in the entire city! It couldn't be Marinette or Alya, they were disgusting trash who unfairly hated anyone different from them!

It could have been Kim since he was dumb enough to ask Sabrina out to make Chloe jealous. But she knew that wasn't going to work. Oh no...She would definitely find a way to berate the jock for this!

Adrien glanced at his notes and then quickly passed a note over to Nino. Nino quickly scooped it up with a grin, of course his bro would go for something as old fashioned as passing a note instead of just saying something or texting him. It was almost cute how out of the loop Adrien could be sometimes. Nino turned his snort into a cough as he read Adrien's note and tried not to roll his eyes. His bro was trying! He was just...so...so...so very dense sometimes.

The note said

'Why is everyone in school acting so weird?'

It had started at lunch, when Adrien walked in with a large white flower tucked into his shirt pocket and a small grin on his face. He was skipping lunch at home for some reason that no one could figure out. So he had had lunch next to Nino, Kim and Ivan and Max. And they had all purposefully not asked him about the flower. Mostly because it seemed like every five seconds some girl was marching up with her flower, seeing the one in Adrien's pocket, sobbing and then running away bawling their eyes out.

Adrien had to have noticed because a few times he had actually called after them that he was sorry but someone had asked him first.

Nino tried to telepathically send the words 'You really don't know?' back to Adrien but instead just quickly scribbled down.

'It's a mystery bro. You're off the market though! Congrats dude! Are they cute?' He slowly and stealthily slid it back over to Adrien who picked it up and opened the note. Adrien smiled and nodded back to Nino without a second thought.

After all Sabrina was cute! He wasn't as close to her as other people in the class and he was fully planning on changing that! After all it didn't make any sense to him for them all to be so divided! Sabrina was nice when she tried, she just was shy! That had to be it...right?

The snapping of pencils slowly filled the room. No one was going to point it out though, because if they did then they would probably have to discuss the small pile of snapped pencils that were sitting in front of Marinette. She slowly took another pencil from the bow, held it and tried to take notes.

Then she noticed that infuriating white flower that was sitting like an enormous pulsing light in Adrien's pocket. As if advertising 'HEY DUMMY! YOU MISSED YOUR CHANCE AND NOW HE'S BEEN PICKED UP FOREVER BY SOMEONE MUCH COOLER AND CUTER THEN YOU!'

Marinette's hands trembled, she tried to breathe, to focus, to do anything at all. But then her fingers began to tremble and shake and within seconds she had snapped another pencil. She growled and tried not to grind her teeth together, she really didn't want to snap one of those...

"You're holding your stylus. If you break that then you'll need a brand new computer." Alya pointed out as Marinette paused and glanced down. Yep she had apparently ran out of pencils. She put the electric pen back down and clasped her hands together, they were still shaking and her fingers actually started to crack a little. Alya glanced at her with a raised eyebrow as if to say 'girl are you serious?'

"I need another pencil." Marinette whispered to Alya who rolled her eyes and passed her one.
"Seriously I think that you're over reacting here girl. I mean yeah I feel for you but..."Alya said trying to think of a good way to phrase it without coming off as needlessly cruel or mean.

"I should get over it, and myself and just admit that we were never meant to be and I might as well just go back home and never leave my room and adopt a billion cats?" Marinette said rolling her eyes as Alya frowned and flicked Marinette playfully.
"Don't be crazy, you hate cats."

"Who ever said I hate cats? Seriously it's like the third time that someone has said that I hate cats. I'm indifferent to cats. I don't hate them." Marinette said trying to sound reasonable.
"And besides what if someone asked out Nino and he said yes?" Marinette said. A loud snap filled the room and then a few scattered cursings. Alya looked at her fingers, they were covered in bright blue ink the pieces of the pen that she had just snapped were scattered around the table.

"Oh Alya...Go and wash up and then come straight back to class please." Madame Bustier said in exasperation as Alya stood up blushing and quickly walked out of the room. Marinette glanced at the small puddle of blue black ink beside her and absentmindedly began doodling in it. First some cool designs for a tuxedo, then some hat designs, she really liked hats. Eventually she stopped when she realized that she would probably get filthy if she kept that up.

She would need to apologize to Alya afterwards, after all Alya and Nino were a couple, they were actually dating. Marinette had just more or less kept on following Adrien around like some sort of lovesick puppy for what felt like forever...It wasn't fair of her to say something like that.

The rest of the day was uneventful, but there was a current of strange anticipation among the students. Everyone kept on side eyeing everyone else. Juleka and Rose exchanged knowing glances with Alix and Mylene and they tried to avoid making eye contact with Marinette. She could still feel their pity raining down on her in thick waves of good natured pity. It was smothering her.

Alya tapped her pencils for the entire period and kept on trying to think of some way to talk to Nino, after all he hadn't asked her to the dance yet and what Marinette had said was stuck in her mind. She knew that he wouldn't ask someone else to the dance...right?

Adrien felt like Chloe was trying to make eye contact with him every few minutes and he was trying his best to avoid looking at her, after all it was none of her bussiness who he asked out. But he did wonder why Sabrina wouldn't make any eye contact with him either. She just sat there in her seat like a marble statue. Completely indifferent to the world around her.

Finally the period ended. The students stood up and started to file out. Adrien practically sprinted from the room. He had to get to his limo fast before anyone else tried to corner him and make him explain who he asked out. After all it was none of their bussiness.

Marinette remained seated after the bell rang and just sighed. Adrien had sprinted out of the room, and she had wanted to say something to him. She didn't have the actual words in mind just yet. But she knew that it was something...

"Uh...Marinette?" A voice squeaked up next to her chair. Marinette turned and yelped in surprise. The orange haired girl yelped along with her and jumped back a solid three feet and held her note book up defensively.

"Oh...Uh...Hi Sabrina." Marinette said in confusion. Marinette and Sabrina didn't talk that much, Sabrina could be very...intense (Or as Chat Noir had described her once Very Yandere/Tsundere...which Marinette didn't understand he constantly threw around slang like that around her. It made her think that Chat Noir might be from another country or another planet sometimes.)Intense but generally well meaning. She just hung around Chloe too much, which was of course the biggest problem.

"Hi." Sabrina said back before taking a deep steadying breath. She gritted her teeth, fingered the white flower in her shirt pocket and finally looked up with a deep red blush on her face.

"I really need your help."

I own nothing. Not even this computer. Thanks for the great reviews so far, more of them mean more updates.
