Marinette snuck through the cafe. Staying low. Alya was behind her. And Alix behind her. Sabrina stood watching them in confusion, her dress in a safe bag beside her as she walked beside the tip toeing trio.

"What on earth are you people doing?" She said in confusion as she looked at them.
"SSSSHHHH!" The trio shushed her causing her to blush and covere her mouth instinctively. Chloe would have her shush multiple times a day. She was used to it.

"We're following Adrien." Alya explained as she poked Marinette playfully in the cheek. Marinette blushed and waved her friend's hands away as she tried to keep an eye on Adrien who was talking to Nino about something. Alya frowned, whipped out her phone, texted something and glanced back up. Nino held up a finger, checked his phone made a bunch of very nervous gestures with Adrien before he hung up.

Marinette, Sabrina, Mylene, Alix and Rose all jumped when Alya cracked her phone right in half.
"And just like that he's dead to me." She growled deep in her throat.

"Someone is feeling violent all of a sudden." Alix deadpanned before rolling her eyes. "So glad to be aro ace."
"What?" Sabrina asked in confusion only to be shushed by the other girls. She instantly clammed up, she was used to being told to shut up by Chloe, so she wasn't insulted or anything.

"Why don't you just go over and talk to him already?" Alix said slowly getting annoyed at the lovesick look on Marinette's face. Marinette glanced at Alix with a blush.
"Don't tell Marinette what to do! Isn't it just romantic? The loving from afar?" Rose responded only for Mylene to roll her eyes.
"She could try to reach out a bit more. Even just saying hi would help."

"Is it always like this with you girls?" Sabrina said in surprise. She had guessed a long time ago that Marinette had a crush on Adrien. You would have to be blind, deaf, separated from society and really really really dense to not pick it up by now that Marinette like most of the other girls in Paris had a huge stinking crush on Adrien Agreste.

Personally Sabrina didn't get it. He was cute sure. But he wasn't her type.
"Oh it's normally much worse then this." Alix said as she nudged Marinette who pouted and blushed before rolling her eyes.

"I am not that helpless! And I'll prove it!" She said standing up dramatically, passing her bags over to Alya who took them without a second thought.
"Go for it girl." Alya said with an eager smile. Excited to see some fireworks finally go off. Marinette began to march right over.

She knew she could do this! She was confident! She was firm! She knew who she wanted and was going for it!

"Hello Marinette." A voice said next to her causing her to yelp and spin around. She had walked right past a table without even noticing the young man sitting there. Which was surprising since he had a bright blue hair cut. She felt her heart do a double skip and gulped before turning to look at him completely.

"OH! Hello Luka!" She said cheerfully. She felt her cheeks heat up and cleared her throat a bit before Luka held up a waterbottle.
"Thirsty?" He asked. Marinette blinked a bit before blushing and was about to give him a peice of her mind before she realized what he meant.

"OH! Yes! Definitely! Thank you!" She said taking the water bottle and chugging half of it. She gulped and then sat down at the offered chair. "What brings you out?"

"Had to take a break between my shifts." He said thumbing back to his large and rather impressive bicycle. The boy knew how to take care of a bicycle. Marinette nodded, of course. He had a couple of after school jobs. Apparently he liked the spending money. And he also would lend some to Juleka, since she always seemed perpetually broke.

"Dress shopping for that dance?" He asked.
"How could you tell?" Marinette asked surprised sitting up straighter. He glanced back towards the small gaggle of girls who were trying and generally failing to remain inconspicous.

"Just a hunch. Hope you have a good time. It's too bad I work that night. I would have asked you." He said with a cool calm confidence that made Marinette feel like she was full of fluttering butterfly's. She smiled in response and delight.

"Really?" Luka nodded before he pointed behind her with a smile.
"But I also see that Adrien is going to leave soon. You should probably run and catch up to him." Luka said with a wink. Marinette stood with a smile and nodded. The best thing about Luka was that he was supportive. Which also screwed with her head because...urgh! Why did boys have to be so complicated? Why did life have to be so complicated?

Marinette gave a little wave goodbye as Luka finished his lunch, got on his bicycle and rode off. Gliding off like a brisk summer breeze. Marinette shook her head. She had to focus! She had to get to Adrien! Prove to the other girls that she could at least have some sort of a conversation with the guy without completely freezing up at the mouth!

Marinette glanced around. He had been near the food stands, then he had walked across the small open air dining court. Stopped to talk with Nino. Nino had ignored his phone call. Then she had been distracted by Luka and his perfect beautiful eyes...

Marinette snapped to the left and followed where she thought Adrien had logically gone. She got out of the food court, rounded a corner and nearly walked straight into Nino who yelped and stumbled a bit.

"Oh! Marinette! What's up dude?" Nino said with a grin as he tipped his trademark red cap back with a smile. Marinette glanced around him for a few seconds before swearing under her breath.

"Hey Nino. Sorry to bother you but have you seen Adrien. It's really important that I talk to him." Marinette said. Nino gulped before he pulled at his shirt collar, uncomofrtable.

"Oh well...You see he's sort of..."Nino gestured behind him at the boy's bathroom sign hanging right over his shoulder. "A little preoccupied. It might be a few." Nino said with a helpless gesture. After all when a guy has to go he has to go. You can't control that. Marinette instantly understood and blushed before leaning on the wall next to Nino as casually as possible.

"Yeah. Well I'll just hang out here with you until he comes out. I can totally hang." Marinette said as she crossed her arms and leaned. Nino shrugged his shoulders before leaning next to her.
"Suit yourself lady dude. It's all the same to me."

Adrien finished washing his hands before he stiffened. His Adrien sense was going off. Which is what happened when someone within ear shot said his name loud enough for him to hear. He paused and walked over towards the bathroom door. When he heard someone shout outside he instantly turned on his heel and made his way for the bathroom window. He was saavy enough to know that shouting was never a good thing. And with the girls at school acting crazy lately he wanted to avoid as much yelling as possible.

He would try to get around the building and meet up with Nino around the corner. He just knew he had to be a little cautious until everything calmed down. Adrien quickly went to the one small window in the bathroom, got onto tip toes and got through it.

"This is sort of stupid. You could just tell those ladies you aren't interested." Plagg pointed out putting his head out from his secret pocket in Adrien's shirt.
"Yeah well I don't want to deal with another angry mob running after me." Adrien responded before Plagg yawned and rolled his eyes. "Have you been sleeping all day?"

"What the heck else am I going to do? All I have in here is cheese and your heartbeat. It's like you're asking me to just sleep for hours at a time." Plagg responded. Adrien rolled his own eyes. This cat was just too lazy. It was crazy. He got through the window and began to sneak his way around the building. He hoped that Nino wasn't trying to do anything heroic like protect him. That would be totally in character for that dude. Adrien was lucky he had such an amazing friend.

Adrien was about to glance around the corner when he felt a tap on his shoulder. He yelped and jumped a mile into the air before turned around with his hands up in a karate pose. He wasn't going to hit a girl, but he was prepared to defend himself.

Sabrina stood behind him with a shocked expression as she also flinched back with her hands up in a karate gesture. Her stance was weak and her legs were pointing in. Adrien let out a relieved breath before leaning against the wall.

"Whoa. You scared me. What's up Sabrina?" He asked with a grin. Sabrina looked nervous for a few seconds as she glanced between Adrien and behind her.
"I'm fine. What were you running from?"
"Oh just a little paranoia over crazy fan girls. It happens a lot more then you would think." Adrien said as he straightened out again. She looked confused and a little scared. Adrien frowned in concern. "You alright? I didn't scare you with the karate did I? My master say's it's just for defense though. So you should be okay."

Sabrina cleared her throat before nodding.
"Of course. I doubt that you would hurt me. I just wanted you to see the dress that I got. That way we can color coordinate easier for the dance." She took out her phone, swiped through a few pictures before finally resting on a very pretty dress. Adrien grinned when he saw it, she must have snapped the pic while she was trying it on.
"That looks great! Can't wait to see you in it in person. Plus we lucked out, the tie I got will go great with it." Sabrina grinned in delight.

"This is actually working out surprisingly well." Adrien looked at her in confusion.
"Why wouldn't it? It's just a dance right?" Sabrina snorted before looking at his confused expression on his face and snorting again. She blushed and waved her hand in front of her face.

"I'm sorry! It's just! Pff! You know how everyone in this city gets! Everything is always the biggest most dramatic thing of all time right? There is nothing too small. Not even a dance. There is a very good chance that something is going to happen there." Sabrina said. Adrien thought and then groaned rubbing his eyes.

"Ugh. You're right. This is probably going to happen. Something big is probably going to happen." He sighed and shrugged. "Ah well. Nothing we can do to stop it right?"

Sabrina smiled in agreement. The two were about to go around the corner again when more yelling started up. Adrien held up a hand to stop Sabrina and then stuck his head around the corner. He did a double take in confusion.

Alya was yelling at Nino who was yelling right back. And Kagami was dragging Marinette away. Marinette wasn't protesting though.

"What the heck did I miss?"
