Chapter 2
Case 1-0-1:
As the duo got there another detective was there. A woman on the same task force as Hiccup. Detective Carter. She was the third best in the sector. "Detective Haddock. Nice to see you join us.". Hiccup looked at the body. "Stand off you said.". Carter nodded. "Yeah, two members of the Berserker Cartel.". Hiccup looked at Fisher (Fishlegs) Ingerman, he was a CSI. "Found these two shots in the one's pocket.". Hiccup looked very closely. "Drugs?". Fishlegs nodded. "Heroin.". Hiccup looked at the victim the closest to the car. "There was a third shooter. Both used Glocks. Third used a revolver. That's why we can't see any other shells. The bullet in the car is to big for a Glock.This stand off was staged.". Hiccup checked the camera. "Is it active?". Carter looked. "No, wires were cut.". Hiccup sighed. "Check that ATM camera.". Carter then said. "Can't, camera was blocked.". Then Hiccup saw something. "What about their phones?". Fishlegs gave them. Hiccup checked. "No contacts, no photos no nothing. Burner phones. These guy were executed. Phones were swapped with these fakes. Trail will be cold. Like the Military does.". Hiccup stated.
(Flashback.).
Astrid was running through the hallway of Berk High, as she was running she bumped into a scrawny kid in a grey hoodie carrying only a backpack and some glasses. As they collapse on the floor Astrid immediately got up apologizing. "I am sorry, I am sorry! I didn't mean to crash into you.". The boy keeping his head down gathering his books only replied casually. "It's okay. I am fine.". As he looks up with his cracked glasses. His green eyes meeting Astrid's eyes she felt a slight blush. Scaring the boy he grabbed his spare glasses and ran for his next class. She only staring at the disappearing boy. She then walked to class to find that boy again.
2 years later:
Astrid is now grade 12. She was in the school gym for the Grade 12 homecoming dance. She was wearing a blue dress with some heels. As she was talking to some friends she heard a loud gasp. She then turned to see who it was. It was Hiccup the Useless. The boy she had a crush on sense grade nine. He was wearing a black suit with a white shirt and a black tie. The jacket though was a little tight and it showed his arms! Was he looking, muscular. His arms were pretty good-looking. She saw then many girls went over to talk with Hiccup, but of course he walked away. For the tables. She then decided to move walking up to him she swung her hip out. "Hey handsome.". Hiccup was wearing his glasses. Raising his eyebrow. He looked so menacing. It made Astrid cringe.

Astrid was brought back to reality when Hiccup waved his hand in front of her face. "You on Earth?". Astrid then looked at him. "Flashback.". Hiccup nodded. "We're back at the station. You follow me, we got a conference with the chief.". Astrid nodded. "Yes, okay Hunter.". Hiccup sighed. Astrid then asked another question. "Why do people gasp when someone calls you Hiccup?". Hiccup then chuckled. "Last time someone called me that. He ended up in the hospital.". Astrid was left wide eyed.
In the station the chief was reading the report Hiccup wrote. "Execution you said?". Hiccup nodded. The chief then asked a question Hiccup tried to bury. "Who in the Berserker Cartel uses revolvers?". Hiccup then flinched. "Usually the higher ops. Those like the leaders of the groups. Those like Savage.". Astrid then asked a question. "How do you know this?". Hiccup then showed a scar on his chin. "Got that in a knife fight with their big boss. Dagur the Deranged.". Stoick seemed proud. "The only cop to survive a fight with a Berserker.". Astrid's mouth dropped. "How?". Hiccup shrugged. "Luck.".
