Midoriya smiled softly as she walked around the city with her friends, having hung out with them in the weeks since they walked her home from school after Bakugou had gone after her. After awhile she waved good-bye to them, walking down a dark alley to make her way to a bar and as she stepped inside she sighed softly.

"Is everything alright young Midoriya?" Kurogiri asked her as she sat down at the bar.

"Yeah, just restless." She replied as Kurogiri slid a shot to her before she downed it easily.

"Well there is something you could do for us if you are interested."

"Of course, anything to get moving around."

Kurogiri nodded and tossed a card to her with Midoriya catching it with ease, examining the address before she nodded. She smirked as she made her way towards the exit, pulling a hunting knife from the doorframe as she passed Shigiraki on her way out. Although the two of them haven't had much time to speak they did share a goal in a way with Midoriya wanting to expose the dark side of the hero society, not caring much for killing All-Might in the process. She took a deep breath and smiled softly, putting the knife in the holster on her right leg before she removed her school shirt and skirt to change to sweatpants. She then pulled the plastic All-Might mask out of her bag and put it in before taking a running start and climbing up the side of an adjacent apartment building. With the rigorous training she was being put through even with a single arm Midoriya was able to clamber up most simple building with relative ease. Once she was on top of the apartment building she put her bag down and rooted through it until she found the binoculars she was looking for.

She walked near the edge of the building and laid down, peering through the binoculars to study the tall glass structure she was currently tasked with infiltrating. Once she located the best area for her to get into the building with the least resistance she started to look for the best way to get there while attracting the least attention. Midoriya yawned softly as she started to run, leaping from building to building until she was close to her desired spot. She gripped the metal siding between the windows and slowly made her way to a nearby balcony that didn't have any nearby guards. When she on the balcony she caught her breath before slipping inside and ducking down behind a half wall as a guard came into the room. She let out her breath, waiting until the guard was close enough before sweeping out their legs and slamming them into the ground. She used the moment of surprise to get them into a choke hold and knock them out before making her way out of the room. Midoriya fixed her mask and rubbed the back of her neck as she tried to focus on remembering where she had to go next before there was a massive explosion that shook the whole building.

She raced back out to the balcony and looked out to see smoke pouring out of a lower level, cursing softly before she climbed on the edge of the balcony and leapt out. As she fell she pulled an ordinary looking black glove out of her bag and quickly slipped it onto her hand, pushing it against the glass at the last moment for the adhesive on the glove to slow her just enough for her to be able to land within the breached part of the building. As she landing she collapsed to one knee as the smoke easily got to her, causing her heart to seize slightly as she fought back hard against a wave of panic. It seemed that even a month wasn't long enough for her to forget as a burning pain seemed to shoot through her amputated arm. She forced herself to claw her way out of the room, ignoring any pain caused by any burning debris that landed on her as she moved and once she was out of the room she forced herself to take a few deep breaths before she was ready again. As she leaned against the wall for a some support while she walked she tried to think of who could've had any interest in attacking the building or if it was just a distraction Kurogiri set up to help her - though he would've hopefully had told her of such a thing so that she was prepared for it.

It didn't take long for her questions to be answered as a group of thugs walked out of a ordinary looking room carrying a metal crate, the exact metal crate Midoriya had be looking for to be exact. She knew she probably didn't stand a chance against all three of the thugs with two of them having animal-based mutation quirks- one being a gorilla and the other a great white shark- and without know the third quirk in their group Midoriya was at a disadvantage already. She ducked into nearby room as a couple guards started to shout at the group to surrender only to almost immediately be followed by their blood curling screams of pain as they were brutally but efficiently dispatched of. When Midoriya was finally able round the corner she could only stand there in shock for a moment as she stared at the corpses…if she could even call the charred and skewered remains of the half-eaten bodies that. She covered her mouth as she fought back the urge to throw up from the strong smell of burnt flesh strewn all over the place.

She grit her teeth and made her ay down the hallway, jogging to try to catch up to the people that had stolen the box. As she slid into the lobby she saw the three thieves and threw her knife at the female but she stumbled back as the female blasted out towards her with deep purple flames that seemed to destroy the floor. When a tiny part of the flames hit her arm it shoved her back slightly before she quickly swatted at the flames on her sleeve as her heart seized up. She tripped back and scrambled back as the flame-user made her way towards Midoriya.

"Oh, is our little hero afraid of a little fire?" The female smirked as she continued to get closer.

As Midoriya kept moving back she felt her hand brush against her knife after it had been blown back and she quickly grabbed it, spinning to her feet to chuck it again at the thief as she kept advancing. The thief blasted it out of the way as she smirked and as Midoriya forced herself to focus she started to take the details of her attacker. From her black hair with bright purple streaks, her burning amber eyes that seemed to want to burn a hole in Midoriya on their own, and her bright red lips. Her clothes as Midoriya looked at those looked to be those of a security guard whether she stole it from a guard or found someone to make a perfect replica was a mystery to Midorirya but now that she was able to focus on anything other than the flames she was able to push herself up to her feet. The thief giggled as she leapt at Midoriya, who spun around her quickly to dodge out of the way as her heart pounded hard due to the adrenaline pumping through her body right now.

"I bet you are quite useless without the use of your quirk huh?" Midoriya cooed as she smirked at her opponent. "To think you may be so easily beaten by someone without a quirk."

The thief screamed and charged at Midoriya who stepped to the side and delivered a heavy hook to her nose, feeling it break as the thief stumbled backwards. She glared at Midoriya madly gritting her teeth more before she took a deep breath, smiling coldly as she let it out.

"I know what you are trying to do, and I will admit I let my ego get the better of me but I know your weakness." The thief smirked as flames danced around her fingers.

Midoriya sprinted forward staying low as she scooped her knife off of the ground, wincing as she felt the flames hit her right side but her body refused to stop now as she was about to bring the knife up to the other girl's throat. Right as she was about to slit the other girl's throat there was a blast of air pressure that threw them both to opposite side's of the room with Midoriya losing her grip on her knife as she landed hard on the ground. As she pushed herself to her feet she saw All-Might making her way towards her as another Pro-Hero was already taking care of the last thief. Midoriya pushed herself up against a wall, wincing as the burns on her body were finally making themselves know after the adrenaline started to wear off and she glance at All-Might as he cleared his throat.

"What can I do for you sir?" Midoriya asked him, doing her best to keep her voice level through the pain.

"You know that was risky what you did young lady." All-Might told her. "You could've gotten more people hurt."

"I kept them within the building, and the other two weren't going to go anywhere without their friend." Midoriya replied.

All-Might sighed as he looked at the student in front of him. "And what would you have done if this plan of yours didn't work?"

Midoriya chuckled softly, wincing afterwards. "Well, I couldn't let it fail now could I?"

All-Might rubbed his face as he looked at her more.

"I do have a question for you then All-Might. Can someone without a quirk be a hero?"

"Young lady, I think you should just go home. Your mother is probably worried about and we have this handled."

Midoriya nodded as she quickly left, gritting her teeth as she headed home. She kept her hand in her pocket as she walked barely noticing as one of her friends ran up to her, throwing his arm around her shoulders. She jumped before she sighed as she glanced at him.

"Hey Shishima." Midoriya sighed softly.

"Are you alright? I saw you came out of the building that All-Might had gone into."

"Yeah, did what I could to keep the worst of them within the building until they got there."

"Wait…you fought a villain with a quirk?!"

"Yeah, I know stupid right?"

"No, that really awesome Midoriya. I wish I was that brave."

Midoriya was shocked by Shishima statement, her eyes meeting his own which were a steely gray hue. His blonde hair was neatly combed at the moment and she smirked as she looked at how neat his clothes were.

"Well let's be honest. You would of done better than me Shishima, you can literally produce weapons with your bones."

"Doesn't help that I hate the sight of blood."

Midoriya rolled her eyes as she slapped his back gently. "You aren't hopeless Shishima. I am sure you can get past that and be a great hero…also you are a lot more cleaned up than usual, what's the special occasion?"

Shishima chuckled softly as he rubbed the back of his head. "Well, I was actually going to go to the medical complex you just got out of to ask about a job. If I am going to be honestly you saved me a whole lot of stress."

Midoriya nodded as she messed with some of her singed hair. "Well, I'm glad that I helped you out there Shishima. Where is Serana and Kiba by the way, those two have been absent a good beit ever since school let out."

"Serana went back to the States to visit with her grandparents, and Kiba is interning with his father so for now its just the two of us for a bit."

"Well, would you like to stay for dinner? Mom would probably scold me if I didn't at least put the offer out there."

Shishima smiled softly as he nodded before they climbed the stairs to Midoriya's apartment as Shishima pulled out his phone.

"I should call my parents to let them know that I will be over here so they don't call for a search party."

Midoriya nodded but as she opened the door to her apartment she froze as she saw Bakugou and his parents in his apartment with his mom.

Inko walked up to Midoriya and examined her face. "Don't tell me that you were at that building that got attacked Izuku."

As Midoriya rubbed the back of her head nervously Shishima stepped in quickly, taking a quick note of Bakugou before he hugged Inko gently.

"Don't be mad at her ma'am, if Midoriya hadn't been there then I would've probably been dead since I was going there to see about a job."

Inko nodded even though it didn't putt her mind at ease with the burns that Midoriya seemed to have suffered though they seemed minor for the most part as she took her daughter to the bathroom to patch her up. Once they were done the two of them rejoined everyone in the living room as Midoriya barely gave Bakugou that much of a passing glance as she got herself and Shishima something to drink. As her and Bakugou's mom went to the kitchen Bakugou walked over to Midoriya and quickly dragged her outside, ignoring her opposition. Once they were outside Midoriya quickly got in her face as she glared at him.

"What the hell is this about Katsuki?"

"Can you listen to me for a moment Midoriya?"

"What could you possibly have to say that I would need to hear?"

"How about you stop being an idiot and think for a moment. Did you ever see any of the three of those friends of yours before the very day you met them?"

"Is this seriously about Shishima and them? What, are you jealous that someone like me actually has friends that aren't just nice to them out of fear?"

"Deku, you fucking dense idiot. Can you not see that there is something off here?! Open you god damn eyes!"

Midoriya grit her teeth and lash out, feeling her fist connect with Bakugou's jaw before shoved her down and held her arm down.

"Listen to me! I am trying to help you Midoriya."

"Yeah, just like you tried to help me in the past with telling me to kill myself or how about when you shoved me into the river just because I offered to help you get out. Even better how about that stupid fucking nickname you always call me, fucking Deku!"

By now Bakugou was being pulled off of her before she rolled to her feet effortlessly, brushing her mom's hand away gently.

"I'm going for a walk. Don't wait up for me."

With that Midoriya walked off, partially to cool off as well as to be able to call Kurogiri to debrief him.
