"W-W-Where are we g-g-going?" Hinata asked looking from the car window to him.

"Places." He grinned glancing at her. "You'll see when we get there."

She lightly frowned looking before he turned leaving the main road and into a slightly bumpy one. And her heartbeat picked up.

Where is he taking her?

Why did she follow a guy she barely knows?

Her family won't even know where she is if something happens to her.

She nervously licked her lips and briefly looked at him.

"I'm not a murderer or a rapist." He suddenly said making her gasp.

Before she could say anything else, he stopped the car before turning to looking at her with his usual grin. Hinata then turned her eyes to look at their surroundings and it would be hard to make out anything if it wasn't for the car lights.

"Come on." Naruto enthusiastically said opening the car door.

Hinata briefly looked down at her hands before moving it to open the door and got down while chewing on her lower lip nervously.

She jumped when she felt Naruto's warm hand gently grab her elbow as she got down. She looked up at him quietly thanking him. He softly turned her and her eyes widened as she noticed the lights of the city under them.

Hinata moved closer taking in the sight. It was dark and the city lights distracted her until she heard Naruto close his car door. She turned to see him coming toward her with a basket.

Wow. Was all she could think.

She didn't even there was places like this.

She's never been out of the house past nine, so it would be hard for her to find places like this, and it was really a shame.

"I come here often." He said laying a cloth on the ground. "It's quiet."

She briefly eyed him as he placed the basket. "I d-didn't know y-you liked quiet."

He paused looking at her. "What's that supposed to mean?"

She shook her head not wanting him to take offense in her words. "Y-You just d-don't seem like it."

He stared at her for a second before letting out a small laughing. "I do like it sometimes. That's when I come here." He said mentioning for her to sit down.

She slowly took a seat curiously looking at the basket as he sat down himself pulling it closer and opening it. He pulled out a pink box before looking at her with a grin. He opened it and turned it to show her the content with a proud look as he placed them close to her.

Cinnamon buns.

She smiled looking down at them.

"I got them from the place I was telling you about." He said with smirk leaning back to rest on his elbows as he looked at her smiling face. "I've got napkins and drinks in the basket too."

"T-Thank you." She softly smiled before moving closer to the basket to grab the napkins.

She grabbed a napkin before grabbing a cinnamon bun and took a bite of it without wasting a second.

"Good?" He asked moving to sit closer to her causing her whole body to tense up.

He was obviously very comfortable with having people be so close to him, but she wasn't. she never even had the chance to discover if she was or not.

She nodded slowly swallowing the cinnamon bun with difficulty before looking down at it. It is really nice of him to have done all this. Hinata was flustered at the thought that she was alone with a guy she barely knew, but she was also thankful that he didn't take her to a crowded place.

"How are you going to make friends if you keep running from everyone?" Naruto asked, moving back slightly when he soften how stiff her shoulders had become.

"I-I d-don't run." She said slightly frowning at his implication, even if it was partially true.

"You hide." He continued and she looked down at the almost finished cinnamon bun.

She fidgeted nervously discreetly looking around. "I don't." She denied taking another bite of her treat.

Why did she even agree to come here? What would her father think? What if someone went into her room to wake her up?

Why did she come?

"I can help you make friends. Beside me, of course." He said causing her lavender eyes to move to him.

"B-Beside you?" She repeated curiously.

Are we friends?

"I could suggest Sasuke, but he's a bastard." He continued purposely ignoring her questioning look.

"W-Who is Sasuke?"

"My best friend. He's got algebra and history with us." He informed her before adding. "But you wouldn't notice." He said giving her pointed look.

"T-That's not necessary." She said so softly he barely heard it. "I'm fine."

"I don't mind being your only friend. That way, I can have you all to myself." He smirked leaning in causing her face to redden at his sudden proximity causing her to almost choke on her food.

He laughed moving away to lean back on his elbows scrutinizing her face in amusement.

"You're so easy to mess with."

"Y-You're t-too blunt." She retorted lowering her head to hide her deep red face with her face as she finished her cinnamon bun.

"I just like saying things the way they are." He tiredly said watching her. "You wouldn't be here if I wasn't like this."

Hinata bit on her lower lip looking at him with furrowed eyebrows.

"I just don't understand all your house rules. Why can't you go out on week-ends?"

"I don't know." She said sincerely.

She never questioned her father's orders.

Naruto slightly narrowed his eyes before continuing. "Why can't you hang out after school?"

"I don't know."

"Don't you ever question anything?" He asked.

Her lips pressed together and she looked away from him.

No.

She always does as she is told.

She looked back at Naruto when he hummed with a thoughtful expression at he laid on his back, his blue orbs never leaving her.

"You're a goodie-goodie." He said with a teasing smile and laughed at her frowning face. "It's not a bad thing, as long as you're doing things for yourself and not because you were ordered to."

"N-No one is o-ordering me." She said actually taking offense in his words, partially because there was truth in his words.

"Oh?" He questioned raising his eyebrows at her.

"You don't even know me."

He shrugged sitting back up with his usual crooked grin. "I want to. That's why I'm asking all these questions."

She looked straight ahead not being able to hold his gaze.

She didn't get it. People would have asked for something from her by now, or they would have simply left her alone after a cold shoulder. And here he was, talking about wanting to get to know her.

For what?

Was there something he wanted? Or was it just curiosity?

"Hi-na-ta." She slightly jumped and turned to face Naruto's grinning face.

I can't believe that I'm out of the house this late at night.

What was wrong with her?

She barely knew him. She should have screamed that there was an intruder when he entered her room.

Why didn't she?

"C-Can't y-you take me h-home?" Her voice came out high-pitched, no longer feeling comfortable being outside this late.

"Why?" He asked with a fake pout. "Am I boring you?"

"I-It's late." She said briefly looking at him.

Naruto was everything her father warned her about. He was distracting, he was trying to take her focus from her. And she didn't even know if she liked it herself.

Why did I follow him?

He even managed to almost make her leave school before it ends. If it wasn't for Ko, she would have. He made her leave home in the middle of the night. What would her father think if he found out?

She's only known him for a few days.

"But we just got here." He said again grabbing a piece of her indigo hair and stayed quiet for a few seconds before speaking. "Okay. let's play a game."

She furrowed her eyebrows as he moved from her side to come sit right in front of her. She gasped as he stretched his longs legs around her and moved closer.

"W-W-What ar-"

"We're going to play a staring game."

She placed her hands on her lap grabbing fists full of her dress to stop them from shaking.

He is so close.

She could practically feel the heat radiating from him.

He is warm. It feels nice.

Different.

"The first person to look away loses." He grinned looking at her.

"I d-don't know." She whispered and he groaned throwing his head back before giving her a false angry look.

"Come on Hinata! You gotta give me something here." He said placing his hands on top of hers.

She squeaked feeling his warmth spread through her body and she felt her tensed shoulders slowly drop.

"O-Okay."

"Great!" He smiled grabbing her chin to make her look at him.

Hinata felt light headed right now because of their proximity and because her lavender tinted eyes were now locked to his blue ones.

"Okay. Ready?" He asked and she slowly nodded barely feeling her own movements.

Her eyes were locked with his and the only thing she could affirm with certitude is that her face felt hot. Her whole body was heating up and she was nervous.

She wanted so badly to look away and let her usual shyness dictate her but for some reason she didn't want to. she didn't know if it was because she didn't want to lose the game, or because he seemed really interested in being her friend and she wanted to at least try this.

But she kept her eyes in his no matter how difficult it was.

"Damn, you're beautiful."

And that was when she gasped and buried her face in her hands.

Naruto looked at her with a small smile. He didn't really mean to say anything but he had pronounced his thoughts aloud without even realising it. Not that he could help it.

She really was beautiful. The way her long indigo hair framed her milky white skin. Those lavender orbs or hers, her big eyes.

Her beauty was refined, elegant.

As was her voice.

If only she would talk more.

The more he stared at her, the more he wanted to cup her face and kiss her rosy lips.

"Okay, that was my fault." He grinned rubbing the back of his head as she slowly looked back at him.

He took in her blushing face and smiled once more.

Damn.

What the hell is this? He thought as his heartbeat picked up speed almost slamming against his chest.

He felt weird looking at her reactions, but he didn't care to know what it was. All he knows is that he wants to be closer to her and he wants her to open up to him, to warm up to him, to be close to him.

And he would get her there.

No matter what.

Hinata slowly got off his back as he landed safely on her balcony. Ignoring her shaking legs, she looked up at him to find his eyes already on her.

"T-Thank you." She practically whispered.

"I'll see you tomorrow." He grinned moving closer to push some of her hair back.

"I-It's Sunday."

"I know." He said moving back to the rail before he started climbing down.

She furrowed her eyebrows at him before he disappeared. Her mind barely registered that he kept sneaking around the property undetected and without an ounce of fear.

Who are you, Namikaze Naruto?

She let out a small breath and it was only then did she notice that she had a smile on her face. She gasped placing a hand on her mouth.

She shook her head before moving toward the door. She slowly opened it and got in, softly closing the door behind her.

"Where were you?"

Hinata gasped and turned with wide eyes to face the owner of the voice.
