Eleanor took a first aid kit out of the medicine cabinet in her bathroom and went to work on Cas. She sat on the bed next to him and began cleaning his wounds.
"So! "Wanna tell me what happened?" Eleanor asked.
Cas looked at her and opened his mouth to speak but closed it again, swallowing the lump in his throat. He sighed and laid his head back against the pillows. Her profound beauty always rendered him speechless.
She smiled at him while cleaning the cut over his left eye. He winced as the alcohol made contact.
"Well... you don't have to say anything if you don't want to, we can talk about it later. When you're ready" She told Cas.
"This is gonna hurt" Eleanor warned as she lifted her hand to reposition his nose. He cringed and let out a yelp as she twisted it back into pace.
She helped him out of his trench coat and asked him to lay back. He did as he was told and laid flat on the bed.
"May I?" She said gesturing towards his shirt. Cas nodded and she undid the buttons of his shirt exposing his bare chest and abdomen.
"Not how I imagined undressing you" Eleanor joked smiling at him. His face turning a light shade of pink. She trailed her fingers down his sides over his ribs checking for any broken bones. It was a good thing she used to be a nurse so she knew how to be professional with patients or else she would have been drooling over Cas' body at how hot he was.
Cas shivered at her touch and closed his eyes, her fingers warm on his skin, stirring an unfamiliar feeling at the pit of his stomach, his heart hammering in his chest.
"Thankfully there is no damage, just slight bruising on your ribs, so you need to take it easy for a few days" Eleanor told him.
Cas opened his eyes and let out a deep breath not realizing he was holding it.
"You're really lucky you know, those guys could have killed you Cas" Eleanor stated matter-of-factly.
Cas pushed himself back up in a sitting position groaning a bit as he redid the buttons on his shirt.
Eleanor sighed and finished cleaning him up and applying ointment and bandages where needed.
"Here take this" She gave him some strong pain killers and a glass of water. He took them and handed her back the glass.
"Alright then, the bathroom is down the hall on the right and my room is on the left, I'm just gonna go finish up some things downstairs then I'll be in my room the rest of the night, let me know if you need anything."
She pulled the douvet over him and flicked the lights off.
"Eleanor?" Cas whispered.
"Yes!"
"Thank you" He said giving her a curt smile.
"Anything for you hunnie" She smiled giving his hand a gentle squeeze and left.
