Nico POV
It was a peaceful day at camp. I was finally out of the infermery when I saw a girl running towards camp. There was five hellhounds chasing her, now that was rare. She looked like she was making it but I ran towards her anyway. Suddenly, she tripped on a rock and fell. I panicked and shadow traveled to her and started attacking the hellhounds. Then, I felt nauseous, mabye I still wasn't strong enough to shadow travel. I used the last of my strength to shadow travel her to camp. Soon, I realized my mistake. When I shadow traveled her, I had turned my back on the hellhounds. Sure enough a hellhound pounced on me from behind, the last thing I heard before blacking out was a horrified scream from the girl I saved.
Percy POV
I was going to the arena when I heard a scream, a horrified scream. The rest of the camp heard it but I was the first one there. When I got there there was a crying girl. She said " M-mom told me to g-g-go here when five b-black d-d-dogs started chasing me. S-s-s-suddenly, a kid appeared f-f-rom the shadows but he looked off-f-ff balance then I was in darkness. The-the last thing I knew I was h-h-here. Then-then-then a black dog j-jumped on him." She then broke down crying again. When I heard the story I rushed out side the camp border and saw a few hellhounds. I quickly killed them and saw a body. Broken, I picked his body up and ran to the infermery and demanded " Save him." Suddenly, Will came rushing and saw Nico's body. His eyes widened and he rushed to Nico. He check his heart beat, pulse and everything else them became silent " I'm sorry." That was all I needed to hear, Nico was dead.
Nico POV
I woke up in the woods and saw everyone crying. I wondered why everyone was crying. All the sudden it hit me, they were crying for me. I ran towards the nearest camper and waved but he didn't see me. I then walked right in front of him thinking he would surly see me but he phased through me. Was I a spirit? No, nether I a ghost I wandered around camp but everyone walked through me and didn't see me.
Time laps Warning
I saw then burn "my" coffin. I saw the seven looking blankly in to space for a few days. I saw Percy stay in the ocean for a week. I saw Reyna break down. I saw Jason fly randomly for weeks. I saw Hazel refuse to come out of her cabin for a year. I saw camp not as happy for 2 years. Day I would try to be noticed but not even Chiron could see me.
Time laps Ended
I stayed at camp for the entire time until I felt like I needed to "Live" my life. Where I had died I found a black pumpkin with a creepy face carved into it. That was all, taking it with me, just in case I walked away from camp half blood.
