Nico POV
Honestly, I expected better. They were supposedly the great heros and Pitch didn't need my help mostly to take them down. We soon took down Santa, the weird fairy, and Bunny, too easy. A week after our victory, I asked Pitch. "What do you have against them." Then he sighed, "Long story. The guardians are not what they claim to be. I was once among them, then they started having evil plans. They planned on taking over the spirits. I didn't know until I was stripped from my powers and given powers no children will like, fear. They knew that belief was strong. They started making stories of themselves and made children believe them. They threw the other spirits out who were among them too. We, the weaker tried to fight back but with them taking all of our belief and getting stronger I was the only one left alive still against them. The others surrendered and know are living a life of surviving on only one or two believers. Jack is only deceived by the lies. When I was thrown out I vowed revenge. I vowed to end their supposed heroism."
Hearing his story, I felt rage. I felt like I did when Percy came back from the giant monster. I thought he wasn't a hero. I thought he was evil, but making people believe you are good and slowly killing others, that was insane. However, little did I know that the "guardians" had already escaped.
Tooth POV
That up start Pitch tried for revenge with some sort of new spirit, however we didn't take over the spirit world to be this weak. We didn't show Jack, but we had hidden powers and weapons. I had 2 katanas and I could travel at the speed of light. Bunnymund quickly holed us out as well as Jack. Soon, we shall kick out Jack and become the rules we once were.
Nico POV
As I has musing, Pitch's golden eyes suddenly widened. " They've escaped." I shadow traveled to the prison and didn't see them in there. Driven by rage that came from nowhere I shadow traveled to the North Pole. I went into my pumpkin suit and took out my swords. Suddenly I once again saw a vision of the fairy speeding towards me with 2 swords. I side stepped and attempted to hit her but she was too fast. I created shadows to chase her but they couldn't catch her. Eventually, she cut them apart. Then saw another vision of a boomerang heading towards me. I ducked and slice it in half. Suddenly a overgrown rabbit came out and kicked me in the face. Guess my vision weren't that useful. I then set the ground around me on hell fire and fought them off. However, the red giant or something like that threw something behind me. I turned around and got kick into it. After that, I found myself in the middle of nowhere full of directed light. Weakened by this, I fell to my knee. I then realized there was no escape. I fell to the ground, unconscious.
I woke up in the place full of lights and tried to find a shadow but couldn't. I summoned a shadow but it instantly evaporated. I remembered 1 more thing. I could phase through walls. I purposely phased through the floor and went into the shadows. I eventually found a little space just enough for me to fit. I stopped phasing and jumped into a shadow.
