Eleanor went into the living room and put on some soft music, she was a sucker for 80's and 90's alternative rock slows, and today'sbest hits as well. She also had quite the collection.

She took a fresh bottle of wine and two glasses out onto the back porch. She poured some in both glasses one for her and one for Cas. She took a sip from her glass as she stood looking up at the night sky. Dido's "Thank You" started playing and Eleanor began swaying and humming to the music.

Cas had finished in the kitchen and heard the music playing. He walked through the house and found Eleanor out on the back porch moving to the music. He stood in the door way for a while with his hands in his pockets, just admiring her beauty.

She turned around and saw him andstarted singing the chorus of the song to him as she handed him the glass of wine.

"And I want to thank you

For giving me the best day of my life

Oh! Just to be with you

Is having the best day of my life"

Cas blushed and smiled looking down. Eleanor took his hand pulling him over toward the chair and taking a seat.

"Thank you for tonight Cas." she said giving him a gentle smile.

"It was my pleasure." Cas said returning the smile.

There was a long moment of comfortable silence as they both listened to the music and enjoyed each other's company, occasionally taking a sip of their wine.

Suddenly Eleanor stood, hearing one of her favorite songs from Sarah McLaughlin that always reminded her of him. She set her glass on the table then stretched her hand towards Cas. His head tilted to the side in confusion.

"Dance with me?" Eleanor asked.

Castiel stood taking her hand in his, unsure of what to do.

"I don't...I've never danced before." Cas explained.

"That's ok! It's easy, here..."

Eleanor took his hands and put them on her hips then she wrapped her arms around his torso.

"All you have to do is move with me in time with the rythm of the music" she explained.

Cas began to move awkwardly at first, feeling very nervous at being so close to her and then picked up quickly, swaying slowly to the music.

"Like this?" He asked

"Yeah that's it!" She said smiling at him.

Eleanor rested her head on his chest and Cas wrapped his arms around her waist. She chuckled into his chest and lifted her head to look into his beautiful blue eyes smiling.

"What?" He said smiling back at her.

"Isn't it ironic?"

"What is?" He asked.

"This song, listen..."

Cas chuckled. "Im no angel. Not anymore."

"You're my Angel Castiel and to me you always will be." she decreed giving him a light peck on his cheek.

He blushed a light shade of pink and grinned, hugging her closer to him.

In that moment Eleanor wished she could tell him how she felt. She was literally in the arms of her angel and there was nothing she could do but enjoy every moment she could with him.

Cas pulled back slightly from their embrace, his ocean blue eyes staring into her honey brown ones then lingering on her lips and back to her eyes.

He trailed his fingers lightly from her eyebrow down the side of her cheek and holding her chin between his thumb and index finger. Then the unthinkable happend.
