Rai felt a wave of exhaustion wash over her, and she looked over her family with tired eyes as Asa fired back at their mother.

"But Yumena's your emotional support dog,

I'm not." Her head tilted up and she narrowed her eyes.

Yumena dropped her jaw and immediately swung back.

"Take that back! Mum's been getting the house put together all day-"

"Oh shut up! At least I can think for myself! Guess what?! I've been at school all day! A new school! Where I don't know anybody!" Asa shouted.

Rai slumped in her seat, and stopped eating, putting her chopsticks down.

"Asa, you're not the only one who moved. There's five of us, your sister moved in her final year of high school, you still have two years till your last year of high school," Sara explained with a calm voice.

The youngest looked down at her plate, gritting her teeth.

"I had to break up with my girlfriend because of this! May I remind you that your the reason we move here in the first place?!" Yumena said with her voice raising in volume. "I left my friends, I was the captain of the track team! So don't get angry at us for your mistake!"

"Yumie's rig-"

Asa gripped her hands, her fingernails dug into the palm of her hands.

"She's not the reason we moved here. I am, and so is mum. She got that big promotion and-" Rai turned to her big sister "-may I remind you that you were on board with the move. So don't play the victim."

Silence fell around the table and Rai was the only one to keep eating.

Her heartbeat rose a bit, as it always did when she attempted to shut down the arguments. Her chopsticks slid a bit in her hand from the sweat.

"Rai's right. Asa has every right to be upset-" Mosu started but quickly turned to the girl "-but that's no way to talk to your mother and sister."

"Why the hell do I have to apologize?!" Asa snapped her head up with a growing scowl.

Rai let out a big sigh as it started again. But instead of stepping in again, she continued to eat.

"You're being ru-"

"Oh please! I'm just saying what no one else is!" Asa cut Yumena off again.

"Asa! This behaviour is unacceptable! Go to your room and calm down! When your done with your temper tantrum you can come back and apologize!" Sara demanded, with her wide eyes bugging out her head.

Asa huffed and stormed out of the kitchen and into her shared room, slamming the door behind her.

Mosu let out a small cough after a few quiet minutes. "What about you, Rai? Have you picked a club yet?"

"Not yet, but I'll find one," she answered quietly. Letting the dinner table fall into silence.

Once she finished, Rai picked up her plate and started to clean off the table.

Yumena joined in, washing the dishes then leaving them to dry for Rai.

After putting them away, and everyone left the kitchen, Rai grabbed some leftovers, put them on a plate and retreated to the shared bedroom.

She softly knocked on the door and entered the dark room only to be greeted by Asa's back to the door.

Without a word, Rai left the plate on the bedside table, placing the glass of water beside it.

In the living room, the TV lit up the couch, as Sara unboxed the rest of their belongings. The boxes contained decorations and a photos of the family. Yumena helped, making trips to the garbage bin outside.

Mosu had his eyes glued to the TV which was in the middle of an intense volleyball match.

Not a word was spoken or exchanged in the following hours as Rai laid on the couch and played games on her phone.

Sara was the first to head up to bed, after she had finished with the last of the boxes.

Yumena looked at the TV, and didn't stop when she opened her mouth, "Asa has no right to blame it on us."

Immediately Rai let out a groan and set her phone on her chest, looking at her sister.

"She does have a right to feelings. You can't get mad at her for it, give her some time and don't be a bitch."

"Hey, don't talk like that," Mosu scolded flatly, wincing when one of the teams scored a point.

Her sister's jaw was slack but she picked it up and huffed. She pursed her lips and looked at the wall, obviously trying to decide her next words.

Yumena opened her mouth once, sighed in defeat, and left the room.

Rai stayed until the game was over, making sure her dad didn't rewatch the match. Then once her dad left, she herself went to her shared bedroom.

The plate she had left in there was half eaten and the water in the glass was gone.

Asa was lying on her bed with her head buds in, fast asleep. Though the red under her eyes was noticeable.

With a sigh, and a small crack in her heart, Rai put the plate away before coming back and climbing into her own bed on the opposite side of the room.

"Rai! You still need to eat!" Sara shouted from the kitchen.

An annoyed sigh sprouted from the girl's mouth as she pulled her school bag from the dryer.

It was dry, but the papers were wrecked, most of them wrinkled and ripped with pen leaking everywhere.

Hopefully Mrs. Suzuki had some extra papers, and Fujino was willing to let her copy the notes. Thankfully, Rai had already handed in her finished work.

"I already ate!" She shouted as she passed the kitchen and into her room.

She looked over at her boxes in the corner of her room, quickly she pulled a few open and tossed the contents around.

"Mum threw them out," Asa said from her bed.

Rai groaned and grabbed her wallet. After paying her sister back, and the gari-gari pops, she wouldn't have enough for what she needed.

"Dam-"

Asa pulled piles of clothes out of a box, before pulling out something and handed over to her sister.

Rai looked down at her sister's hands and smiled, wrapping her in a large hug.

"You're the best!" She let go of her sister and took the three objects. One was strong double sided tape. The second was a tube of super spicy paste, one she order internationally. From India if she remembered correctly. The third was a container of holographic glitter.

After looking them over, and growing a smirk, Rai pulled her grey sweater over her white button up and grabbed her maroon tie.

Her bag hung off her left arm as she entered the kitchen.

Asa followed behind her.

"Did you grab your lunch?" Her mum asked with a small smirk.

The sixteen year old froze, and laughed nervously as she trotted to the fridge. She pulled out her bento box, which was full of onigiri Yumena made with last nights leftovers.

"You ready to go?" She looked over to Asa who had her nose in her phone and just sat down to eat.

Asa snorted and didn't look up from her phone.

"Uh, your kinda early? Like by two hours?"

Yumena had left an hour ago already, but she was hoping to get some photos before she got to school, for her club.

"I have to go and redo my notes. All of them," Rai sighed, with her shoulders slumped.

"Even for that, your way too early!" Sara said as she cleaned up the dishes.

It wasn't only that she was going early for. With little to no people at the school, Rai would be able to set up a small bit of revenge.

"I had a few questions about some of the stuff anyways." She quickly covered.

"Alright. Have a good day," Sara hummed, clearly not convinced.

Asa wasn't dumb, she knew something was up. Her gaze landed on her sister's bag, eyeing it with interest. What was Rai planning?

The sky still had its orange and pink ting to it as she walked down her new street.

The teenager tied her tie and stuffed it down her sweater as she walked. Her mind played different ways of how she would get back at Miya.

The thought of ignoring the incident lasted about a second. Who knows what more he would do if she ignored it?

Although, she had to be sneaky. If her parents found out, she'd be more than in trouble.

Her bag held the three objects. Her water bottle was also full, and ready.

"Hey! New girl!" A newly familiar voice called out, and Rai stopped and looked behind her.

The guy she had bumped into yesterday, twice, was waving. His white haired friend was beside him.

She wrinkled her eyebrows and waved slowly, waiting for them to catch up.

"Uh, morning?"

"I should have put two and two together! I didn't realize it was you who moved in across the road!" He laughed as they reached her.

"Oh?"

"I live on the other side of the street two down from the one you live in now." He pointed at the house.

"Ojiro," the boy with white haired spoke. The ends of his hair were dark, and his face held little to no emotion. "Have you even introduced yourself?"

A small sheepish grin covered his face, while his dark cheeks lightened with pink.

"Ojiro Aran, sorry about that." He smiled at her while scratching the back of his neck.

"Ozaki Rai, it's nice to meet you," she giggle a bit and looked to his friend as they walked to the school.

"Kita Shinsuke, captain of the Inarazaki volleyball team," he greeted, a small spark of pride lit in his eyes.

Rai nodded when she remembered Ojiro mentioning he was the ace of the team.

"So you picked a club already?" He asked as they fell in step beside her. Why else would she be going to school this early?

She only shook her head with a small smirk.

Both third years looked at each other and then back at her. Confusion wrote itself all over their faces.

"So you guys have practice right? The whole team?" Rai slid her eyes over to the boys before looking away with an eager grin.

Ojiro almost answered but shut his mouth, his eyebrows furrowed. Kita however didn't hesitate and provided the answer.

"Yes, we're you interested in watching?"

She snorted and shook her head, "no offence to you guys but no way. I don't know how you can be on the same team as Miya. He's...insufferable! Given I've only been in his class for a day, but he's really gone out of his way to make an impression."

Immediately Ojiro hung his head and let out an exasperated sigh. The other boy rolled his eyes with a shake of his head.

Frustration bloomed in Rai's blood, as she tried to not insult her new acquaintances.

"He's...talented," Kita offered with a tinge of exhaustion in his voice.

"Yeah well, he's a talented jerk. He unscrewed my water bottle so it would spill all over in my bag!" Rai mumbled, flaring her nostrils.

Both third years nodded their heads. Kita grew a small knowing smirk, while Ojiro sighed.

"Don't take it personal. Atsumu's like that with everyone," Ojiro assured as they approached the school.

Rai nodded slowly and walked up the school steps and turned around before going in, "thanks guys."

Despite his words, Rai couldn't help but take it personal. She knew she shouldn't but she did.

"I'll make him do extra laps," Kita decided, making both his companions grow wide eyed. A small glimmer of a smirk danced in the captains eyes.

"I'm not going to argue." Rai looked at Ojiro with a shrug, then she looked at the captain, "thanks Kita-san."

He smirked with a nod, and the third years separated from the girl.

She entered the school and headed right to her classroom. The door was shut and Mrs. Suzuki was sitting at the desk, her head was hunched over papers.

The teen knocked in the door before opening it.

"Ozaki! Uh, classes don't start for over an hour, almost two," Mrs. Suzuki reminded with a soft and friendly smile.

"I'm sorry for bothering you so early, but my notes got...ruined. I was hoping that I could copy some?" Rai arched her eyebrows in a soft arch. A half smile grew on her face.

Her teacher opened her mouth and widened her eyes. A look of curiosity bloomed in her eyes.

"I also wanted to get that one assignment done."

"Oh, you don't have to. I already told you that," Mrs Suzuki waved a hand dismissively.

Rai shook her head and set her bag and jacket down at her seat. Then she turned back to her teacher.

"English isn't exactly my strong suit," she laughed as she took the papers from her teacher.

It was a lie, Rai had no difficulties with the foreign language. But she figured her teacher might have a problem with her...actions.

She had to wait until the room to be empty, and until then, she wrote on a loose leaf.

Although instead of writing her assignment, for the next hour, she was trying to figure out how to get back at her classmate.

"I have to go print something off in the staff room, I'll be back in a few minutes."

Rai watched as Mrs Suzuki walked out of the classroom. Once she was gone, Rai dove for her bag and pulled out clear double sided tape.

She leaned over the desk, and stuck a long piece across the bottom on the seat in a square.

It wasn't anything drastic but he'd be stuck to his seat, and even possibly would rip his pants. The best part was, was no way Miya would be able to see it unless he was looking for it.

She sat back in her seat, and looked through her pocket.

The tube of spicy paste gleamed, and she grinned. But before she could get up, Mrs Suzuki came back.

Confident in her next plan of attack, she put her plan away and left to put her bag into her locker. Then returned and actually started the assignment until class started.

Her classmates came in slowly and in pairs or more. Very quickly, the volume increased as more teenagers arrived.

"OZAKI!" The girl jumped and fell out of her seat.

She brushed her hair behind her ear, looking at the door. Unfortunately she didn't get to see anyone because a figure rushed towards her.

The figure stopped and held their face a hair from Rai's nose.

Fujino's mouth was stretch in a thin line, with her blue eyes narrowed. Her dark eyebrows were furrowed furiously.

"Morning?"

"Morning?! Morning?!" Fujino stood up straight and looked at Hino. "Can you believe that?! Morning!"

"Mari, calm down, please," they sighed with a frown, sitting down and crossing their ankles together. Then they smoothed out their skirt.

Fujino dropped her jaw in fury.

"Calm down?! Can you believe she got here early and didn't tell us? We could have helped her with homework!"

Rai raised an eyebrow in curiosity. How did they know she was here early?

A snort came from Hino, which got a glare from Fujino.

"I do need the notes. Like all of them," Rai explained with a small smile.

Immediately, a grin broke out on Fujino's face and she dropped her bag on Rai's desk. She opened the lumpy bag and started to sif through the mess.

Loose papers spilled out of the bag as Fujino pulled out her lunch box.

A notebook appeared in front of Rai's face. She blinked once before taking it and looking at Hino.

"Even with the worlds best code crackers, there is no way in Hell that you'd be able to read her writing." They let go of the note book with a nod.

"Hey! Not cool!"

"It's true Mari-chan!"

All three teenagers cringed at the sound of the setter. Hino let out an audible groan as Mari looked like she was about to commit murder.

"If only you could write as good as you fail," Miya snickered as he walked to his seat.

Rai pursed her lips together, trying to keep her smile away. But before he sat down, he took of his school blazer and set it on the seat.

Immediately her eyes widened, and he caught her gaze. His smirk changed, turning from an amused smirk to a smug smirk.

She spun in her seat and cursed, letting a dark look cover her face.

The teenager gripped her hands into fists, and furrowed her eyebrows. The way her head was tilt, a dark shadow cast itself off her eyebrows.

How did he know?

Hino noticed the small exchange between their classmates, and looked at Fujino. But she was to busy glaring at the athlete.

Before anything more could be said, the bell rang for class.

"Alright, good morning-" the class made no move from their conversations "-SIT DOWN AND ZIP YOUR LIPS!" Mrs. Suzuki shouted, and without hesitation they scrambled to their desks, zipping their lips.

With a satisfied smirk, she began class.

Something hit Rai's head as she worked out another math problem. Knowing exactly who it was, she ignored it.

The tapping only grew, faster and harder.

"What do you want?!" She hissed spinning around in her chair. Her eyes wide with annoyance.

Miya pushed his paper forward, "how does this work?"

She stared at him in disbelief, anger itching her insides. With her eye twitching she turned around and went back to her work.

Behind her, he frowned and tapped her shoulder, once then multiple times.

Baring her teeth, Rai looked over her shoulder.

"The numbers don't match up. Is this supposed to go here or-" Rai narrowed her eyes and turned back to her own work.

"Hey." His frown deepened and pushed the eraser end of his pencil into her shoulder blade.

She arched her back and scoffed forward, but he continued to push between the bone.

Her head snapped around with narrowed eyes.

"Show me how to do this." He helped up his paper, handing it to her.

Rai knew that if she wouldn't help, neither of them would get any work done. But she desperately didn't want to help him.

"Fine."

"So, is this right?" Miya moved away from his paper.

Rai removed her fingers from the bridge of her nose and looked at it. She checked the answer, and compared it with her paper.

"Yes."

A triumphant smile grew on his face as he scribble his name on the paper.

He looked at Rai's paper and waited for her to finish the last question before he swiped it from her. The pencil dragged from the end of the three, and off the paper onto the desk.

"H-hey!" She cried out as he walked to the front, and handed in the papers.

Some of her fellow classmates looked over, some of the girls watching with open mouths.

Whether he was ignoring them or used to it, Rai couldn't tell as he sat back down on his jacket, and crossed his arms. A small pout formed on his face.

"No thank you?"

"Tha- hey hold on! I just helped you, why do I-"

The bell rang, she was about to continue but Fujino jumped over her seat and ran the short distance to her.

"Come on! Let's go get our lunches!" Fujino pulled Rai out of her seat and grabbed Hino from their collar.

"I'm walking! I'm walking, let go of me." Hino shook the girl off and followed her.

There was a pat in Rai's back as she got up, from her seat. With her eyebrows furrowed, she looked behind her.

Her confusion washed away and was replaced with rolling eyes.

"What? I can't thank you?" Miya frowned mockingly as he pulled his hand away from her.

She stared at him with a raised eyebrow. Her grey eyes surveyed him, watching the amusement dance around his face.

After a moment he frowned, looking at her, in something that one would argue was disgust.

"What?" His words sharp as he narrowed his dark eyes.

In return Rai scoffed and crossed her arms.

"What? You said you were gonna say thank you." Her lips pursed as she tried not to smirk, and seem smug.

Miya's frowned deepened before he started to laugh.

"I did, idiot. Weren't you listening?" He laughed while looking at her in ridicule. Something she did not appreciate.

"Hey, leave her alone you jerk!" Fujino glared before turning to the girl, her harsh expression easily swept away with a kinder look. "Ozaki, come on!"

With one final, suspicious, look at Miya, but was called by Fujino again.

Rai peeled her eyes off of him, and she left Miya standing there, and walked to Fujino.

She stopped at the door to look over her shoulder, seeing that Miya was already up and by the front desks. A small smirk danced on his face.

Something about it seemed off, like he was trying not to smile. But Fujino grabbed her hand, pulling her attention away.

"Come on, let's go! I'm hungry!" The girl spoke rather loudly as she lead the way.

"I know," Hino groaned, but a small smile fluttered across their face. But when they noticed Rai's eyes on them, the smile disappeared. Replaced by their signature scowl, the brunette let their hair fall over their face.

Fujino stayed oblivious with her back turned, her hand still wrapped around Rai's wrist.

Hino swept their eyes around the trio, and took a step closer to the dark haired girl.

The new comer wasn't disturb but she could feel the eyes on her and if her ears were hearing right, Rai swore she could hear snickers.

Being new, she wouldn't be surprised if it was her, they decided to put their attention on. But why?

The brunet must have thought the same because they left Fujino's side and took up the caboose of the trio.

A small sigh came out of their mouth, and Rai felt Hino's finger tips touch her back, grabbing a hold of something. But like it was on fire, they let go immediately.

"Mari." The girl was to busy unlocking her locker. "Mari Fujino!"

Her bob swung as she looked up, confusion wrote itself across her face. She slowly opened the locker door.

Rai stepped away from between the duo as they silently communicated.

Which really only consisted of Hino's half lidded eyes glancing at Rai, then over their shoulder, with a heavy scowl and finally back over to Fujino.

Said girl, stood there, her mouth slowly opening as she deciphered it.

Very quickly Fujino shot her attention down the second year hallway and narrowed her eyes. Rai followed her gaze, shifting her back to the girl.

At a distance, Miya was watching with a large smirk which only grew when Fujino started to march forward.

"You bastard! I'm gonna-" Hino grabbed her arm lightly.

"Don't give him what he wants." Fujino only shouted curses and flipped off the dyed blond.

Rai stood in confusion, and took a step around and in front of the cursing girl. Then she looked towards him with the seed of suspicion blooming.

"Can one of you explain what's-" a cat call emitted from a group of first years passing by.

Red burst across her face when met the eyes of one of them. She shifted on her feet and gave Miya a look from the corner of her eye.

"Any time any day sweet cheeks!" Another boy shouted as they passed.

"You willing to do it for a chick?!" A female voice came from nowhere making her blush deepen.

Rai felt the heat spread from her face down her neck.

She looked to Hino, motioned to her back. So she reached behind and felt a paper hanging off her back.

The flames that danced across her face cooled immensely, as she took a hold of the paper.

Her eyes rolled, and she lifted the paper up. Hino's brown eyes widened and started to shake their head.

"Don't-"

Riiiiiiip.

As Rai pulled the paper off her back, their was a tug in her clothes. A cool breeze hit her bare back making her eyes grow wide.

"BASTARD! I'M TELLING YOUR MUM!" Fujino shouted, shaking her free hand in a fist.

Despite the threat, Miya had his head back, cackling like witch. A small amount of tears trickled down his cheeks.

Rai's current priority was not to beat Miya into a pulp like Fujino wanted.

Her hand grabbed at the ripped cloth, trying to keep her back covered. Her school blazer was sitting exactly where she left it. Her chair in the classroom.

While they kept a hold on the snarling Fujino, Hino took of their jacket and tossed it to Rai.

She quickly tossed on the blazer, the sleeves rested an inch past her wrist. Then she looked at the paper that had been hanging on her back.

I finished fucking my old school. The line starts here.

\/

Rai's jaw dropped as the red rushed back to her cheeks as her jaw dropped. She looked at Miya with wide eyes.

When he looked her in the eye his grin turned into a smirk.

Taking in a breath she crumbled up the paper and tossed it into the nearby garbage bin. She licked her lips and stood in between Fujino and Miya.

She kept her now covered back to the boy and held up her hands like someone coaxing a scared animal.

"I appreciate your anger, but right now your angrier than I am. It's obvious this is what he wants, let's go eat before things get out of hand." Rai searched Fujino's fiery eyes with her calm ones.

Hino's eyes grew wide, and raised an eyebrow.

"But he-"

"If you try and do anything it'll ru- make things worse," Rai assured and forced a small smile. "Come on, I'm hungry."

Sending Miya one last death glare, then huffed and relaxed.

"Fine, let's go!" She spun around promptly and linked her arm with Rai's and marched away with Hino trailing behind.

After retrieving their lunches, the trio returned to their home room.

Thankfully, for Miya, he wasn't there. Fujino was still fuming and mumbling to herself as she dropped into her seat.

"How can you just let him go? He's gowing do do eh egain wah ae yoo dowin?!" Rai pushed her hand against her mouth.

Her eyes swept the room; the nearest group of kids was three seats down and was a group of girls who had their heads together as they spoke. Anyone else in the room either had headphones in or was talking with a mutual.

"Trust me I'm not, my first attempt just...failed," Rai sighed in defeat.

Fujino grew wide eyed and opened her mouth.

Hino looked up from their book, raising an eyebrow with a small grin.

"One of the reasons my family moved was because of how many times I got in trouble. My revenge, or uh, pranks aren't new." Rai removed her hand and frowned in defeat. "They're just a little rusty."

The corners of Hino's lips tugged into a smile, their eyebrows dipped a bit, making them look quite evil.

"Finally that asshole will get what he deserves."

"You bet he will, just-" Rai looked to the dark haired girl "-have patience and let me do what I'm doing."

Fujino nodded with wide eyes, her short hairs swung back and forth.

A small smile grew on Rai's face and she leaned back, taking a bite from her lunch.

As she lifted the food to her hand, the long sleeve reminded her of who's jacket she was wearing.

After giving the classroom a quick sweep, Rai quickly took of Hino's blazer and replaced it with her own on the chair.

"Thank you. I owe you Hino." Rai passed it to the brunette.

"All you owe me is giving Atsumu what he deserves." Hino nodded, sharing a sly grin with Rai.

"Alright! You guys know if you have homework or not, I don't think anyone does have any though." Mrs Suzuki smiled at the class as the final bell rang.

Instantly the teenagers got up and collected their stuff.

Rai buttoned her blazer up, giving her backseat neighbour a glance.

After lunch, Miya had completely ignored her. He didn't ask a single question, poke her, nothing. Which made her all the more suspicious.

"Ozaki! Wait for us! We'll walk home with you!" Fujino shouted from her spot only two desks away.

"Alright." She nodded, a soft pink grew on her cheeks.

Rai and Hino watched as Fujino stuffed her papers into her bag. While the new student found it amusing, the brunette rolled their eyes, silently scolding her.

"Ready!" Fujino shouted with a large grin.

"Atsumu-kun! You forgot your-" a loud rip filled the classroom.

The trio stopped and turned their heads, looking at one of their classmates holding a jacket. A ripped jacket.

Miya had his hand held out, about to stop the girl. But he was too late.

A smiled pulled at Rai's mouth, but she kept it down. Hino looked at her then back the boy. They gave her a small nodded before watching with a smug look on their face.

"Seriously? Thanks," Miya snarled sarcastically at the girl.

He snatched the ruined jacket from her hands and tossed it in the trash.

"Miya!" Mrs Suzuki warned as she looked up. Her eyes widened at the sight of the ruined jacket. "What in the wide world...I thought I took that tape from you!?"

Their teachers eyebrows arched in disappointment.

"I didn't-"

"Hand it over."

"But-"

"Now." With a hanging head he pulled his bag open and rifled around, pulling out Rai's double sided tape.

The girl's eyes narrowed at the 'R' in sharpie on the roll of tape.

"That bastard," she hissed under her breath. Rai gripped her fist and tensed her jaw as he handed it over to their teacher.

Miya sensed her stormy eyes on him, he met her gaze and smirked.

Rai but her tongue and looked away. With her chin tilted up she left the room, her new friends behind her.

The trio left the school property with Rai fuming in anger.

Fujino kept looking back and forth from the school to the new student. Her eyes furrowed in confusion.

"Was that actually yours?" Hino asked with wide eyes.

"Yes. That bastard," Rai muttered through her teeth. "I don't even remember my bag...he started it, but I'm going to end it."

She locked her jaw and dug her fingernails into the palm of her hand.

As Fujino opened her mouth, Rai let out a sigh and smiled. The smile looked suspiciously like a smirk.

"I do have to admit though. It's a little bit chilly." She shivered a little, earning a snicker from Hino.

Fujino rushed behind her while taking off her own school jacket.

"Here! We can't having you freezing to death!" She cried as she rested the jacket on Rai's shoulders.

The brunette chuckled, and shook her head.

"It's alright. My house isn't far," she assured, but Fujino held a firm grip on her shoulders, keeping the jacket still over her own.

Hino rolled their eyes and walked on the other side of Fujino.

Rai took the other side of the short haired female. She subconsciously walked beside the road as she lead the way to her new house.

The brunette stopped awkwardly at the gate of her house.

She shrugged off the extra jacket and handed it back to Fujino, who took it. The dark haired girl peered over her shoulder.

"Uh, it's kinda of a mess, but do you guys want to come in?" Rai offered, looking back at her house.

Fujino pumped a fist in the air and let out a whoop.

"Yeah!"

"We don't want to impose-" Hino elbowed their friend, making her cough "-you just moved in."

"No, most of it's put away. Really it would nice." Rai opened the gate, moving aside for her classmates.

While she was being genuine with her invitation, guests were the one time the Ozaki household wasn't walking on mines in a battle.

Well, Rai and Mosu were walking on mines. Asa proudly stomped on them.

But Yumena was most likely staying after school for her club. Though their mum was not starting work for another day, but their dad was always home around this time, so Rai wasn't too worried.

Before Rai opened the door, she looked back at her classmates. A small bug of nervousness crawled around her stomach.

"I...apologize ahead of time."

"Apologize for what?" Fujino asked, her eyebrows furrowed. Both guests looked at each other in confusion.

Rai just gave them a weak smile and opened the door.

"I'm-"

"GO TO HELL!"

Haha! I've got all my work in! WAHOO!
