Part 4i – Do what ?

After finding out that a Jedi Master had gone to Kamino, a cloning world, it was only a matter of time before things could happen and not in a good way. Tanya had her crystals, the song she was hearing had, for the moment, quieted but did not outright stop entirely. Kara was more adamit to get to Arda Three. I want to go there too. But I am not sure why

- Undryl Stathe, Corellia, 16 days before battle of Geonosis

The clock was ticking, she could feel it. Undryl couldnt pinpoint exactly what she felt, only then that nervous butterflies in the stomach one would get before a huge eventful day or before speaking in public. It had been three days since Tooge had left for Arda Three to plot his course, get some fuel, and move on. And it was one day since the news of two ships going to the unknown planet was revealed to Kara

But Kara had agreed not to tell anyone else about the unknown world until after Tooge got back. Sadly, such a promise couldnt be kept for long. Tanya was a good student, and somehow could figure out secrets others kept hidden. A child with such an innocent mind was ripe for corruption should the wrong party get to her.

"I cannot keep secrets from you, can I, Tanya Dar'Faran ?" Kara eventually asked as somehow the conversation that evening between the two of them while Kara fed Kira, the Librarian, and Padawan were the only two in the study at the time, the Stathe manor was a massive complex and since getting home, Undryl had wandered a few times with Tanya, the assembly line.

"Nope! Master Rige was harder to speak to, the Selonian Jedi too I couldnt really understand, but she seemed nice enough, so I overheard bits of what Master Stathe said to you. We're in trouble arent we ?"

Kara knew she couldnt keep it secret much longer. She finally sighed and nodded. "On Coruscant, Master Stathe revealed to me a cloaked stranger who was questioning her old human bodyguard." Kara began to explain

"You mean the woman ? What was her name, Shenniah something ? Why ? What did she do ?" Tanya asked, so again Kara had to explain that Shenniah was for a time, the bodyguard of Undryl before Undryl was killed. Now that Undryl was back, Baozi was investigating her murder on Corellia, while master Stardrifer was on Coruscant learning what she could. "Gee, Wish we could help them somehow" Tanya said softly.

"There is a way to be of help, and that is not to offer, Undryl seems worried she is putting too much onto us when we simply need to get going. But she knows too that we want to help, but will tell us more when she feels the time is right" Kara explained, she was right, for the most part, but knowing Tanya. Just staying out of it alone wouldnt be easy. So Kara then asked her. "Yesterday when you went out with Undryl, did you find what you sought ?"

Tanya smiled and nodded, she never went anywhere without those crystals. She held the bag out for Kara to see before showing her a few random gems, one of them, evne Kara could hear a almost feral tone to the song they produced. She held out a hand, pointing at the gem making the feral noise. "May I ?" She asked, Tanya nodded and allowed Kara to gently take hold of the kyber crystal, the feral growls to the song soon quieted.

Kara held the crystal up. "Amazing" She said simply

"What is it ?" Tanya asked her. Clearly confused at what Kara was seeing. "Is something wrong with the crystal ?"

"No, nothing is wrong." Kara said after a second, she gently set the crystal back in Tanyas bag. "This crystal, I think it is a Kryat Dragon Pearl, but I am not sure. That growling noise, if it were put into a lightsaber hilt, it might make an interesting blade." She said.

Tanya was quiet in thought for a moment, a KDP was a dangerous lightsaber crystal if she remembered correctly, but there was one Jedi she knew of who used such a crystal for her own blade. "You think Padawan Kuat could find use for it ?" She asked

"Maybe, for now, hold onto it, keep it and the others with it, safe." Kara said "Until Tooge gets back, our ride isnt here, and we cant get to Arda Three just yet. I want to get there quickly as possible." Kara felt that time was ruinning out for the children.

"It will be OK, Master Kaal, dont worry, Tooge will get us to Arda Three safely, I can feel it" Tanya said, it made Kara smile, the woman nodded.

"Alright, I think it is time for bed" She said, she thanked Tanya and the two withdrew, Tanya once more to Undryls room, Kara to a guest room normally used by Undryls realitives.

At that same moment, Undryl was already in her room, she was pacing as Taia watched her, the R2 unit she once had long gone thanks to Shenniah making sure that the Cronet's Heros had the Droid in their care. On the holo was Master Stardrifter, the two were talking over recent events. "The cloaked stranger grilling Major Twang has left Coruscant, the RSB confirmed it" Bodgey said

"Did they say where the stranger was headed ?" Undryl asked giving her friend a look. Suddenlky a pang of jealously shot through Undryl, Bodgey had a human like body, if it werent for the fact the Maralukans were eyeless, Undryl was brfiefly jealous that Bodgey at least had a hum,an...ish... body. She didnt have to worry of shedding

"No, there was nothing from BoSS either." Bodgey confirmed that much.

"Great, that puts us in a bind. We have a group here from the Temple, they want to get somewhere safer than even Corellia" Undryl then explained Kara and the nightmares the Moorjan had.

"If my hunch is correct, the cloaked being wanted to know why you were killed, and not only that, but how much others knew of your death and the reason behind it. The only things I have been able to find are related to the vote" Bodgey said

"That is my guess too" Undryl agreed. "Baozi has not been able to find anything here, but the child, Tanya Dar'Faran, she has found some crystals, they were singing through the Force, she was guided to them like I was guided to my forcesaber as a child." Undryl then detailed the day before.

"Tanya Dar'Faran is a good learner and lover of history and learning. Given time she could become a good librarian. But I fear that Kara Kaals dreams might come true if we do not act soon"

"Leave that to me, for now, its time for bed for me, I am beat" Undryl said, she didnt want to hang up on Bodgey, infact even if eyeless, Undryl was still kind of jealous of the woman.

Less then a minute after Undryl had signed off, Tanya entered, the girl looked tired up in good spirits. "You look excited" Undryl mused Tanya simply smiled, Undryl didnt know the half of it!
