Part 4k – The Beginning of the End

It was quiet, too quiet, yet the world was peaceful... We were home!

- Kara Kaal upon arrival to Arda Three

Arda three was indeed a verdant landscape, grasslands as far as the eye could see. Infact it was a full day just to get to the mountain pass zone in order to access the southern hemisphere. Tooge of course piloted them directly to the landing pad he had managed to charter and helped them all safely disembark.

"This is Arda Three" Tooge announced as the group safely disembarked. "When the Pub officer asked what you were and I mentioned we were headed for Ossus, he thought you pilgrims. I didnt have the heart to correct him." he sounded apologetic

"You did well, Tooge, Thank you." Kara said to him, as she ensured he got his full promised payment. Tooge of course insisted a job was a job, and this job was to help the Jedi. But Kara insisted she pay him in full for all fuel costs, as well as food supply costs. Tooge made a mental note to thank Yoda for raising such a very respectful and promise keeping Jedi.

"Will you be alright here ?" Undryl asked

"We will, we came this far, my dreams so far of this world are coming true better then hoped for." Kara replied, it made Undryl smile the woman was so intent to get to Arda Three, she even deigned to stay on Corellia for a week before being able to move on.

But she did fear just as Undryl did, it might still be too late. Once word had spread among the group that the unknown planet had been found, it was only a matter of time before things went sideways.. "You're sure ?"

"I'm sure" Kara replied, she gave the Tooka woman a hug as Undryl felt in her heart a steady growing sense of worry. But she didnt voice it, not yet.

She along with Baozi watched as Kara took up her daughter and headed for a nearby man, he was looking to sell a structure and took them to it as Undryl looked on. "Ready to go ?" she asked to Tooge and Baozi, the latter of which smiled seeing how happy Kara was.

"Yeah, I'm ready to head back to Rishi, what about you ?" He said in reply

"I have just one thing left to do" Undryl said before splitting from Baozi and going to Tanya, Undryl had found an old holocrystal book that held a schematic of a lightsaber hilt or two that was easily customised.

Stepping into Tanyas vision the Tooka woman smiled, Tanya was struggling not to cry. "Tanya, I want you to have this, it helped me, maybe it can help you" She said, handing to her the crystal, it was a coded Kyber Crystal and it could only be used to access a holo book of lightsaber hilt patterns.

"Me ?" Tanya asked, the two women embraced briefly before Tanya broke the hug. "You are sure you want me to have this ?" She asked

"I am, you will need it more then I will, you can trust me on that." Undryl said to her. "Besides, if my dream is correct, you'll be a blademaster in no time with those designs." Undryl lifted a paw and gently wiped away the girls tears. "Dont cry, I promise I will come to visit. And you have my connection link, if you need help, anyone of you need my help, contact me on that, and I will get to Tooge, and come here to Arda three to help where needed."

Tanya nodded and took the crystal then, with Undryls promise it might be harder then one thought to keep that promise, but with the Force, anything was possible. A gentle paw was set on the womans shoulder before Undryl turned and headed back to Tooge's ship.

By the time she got aboard Tooge had finished his preflight allowing her to hit the ramp controls, closing the ramp as Tanya watched, a tear slid from her eye as Tooges ship took off. She then smiled, she had the means to fix Master Poof's hilt, and even a crystal to put into it to make it her own.

"You feel good enough to fly ?" Baozi asked to Undryl as the Tooka took a seat rather heavily. It was only a matter of time before the woman could fully understand loss and regret as a Jedi. But somehow she also felt a strong sense of relief, contentment.

"I will be alright" Undryl said after a minute. She looked at Baozi, "What about you ? Will you be alright leaving Master Kaal and Master Rige to oversee the children with them ?"

"They are Jedi, they will do what is right. Knowing Kara though, its possible that even when she finds a place to reside, there will still be other places to go to. If that. If she must she'll construct her own temple" Baozi had a sense of mirth to his voice, he and Kara had grown up together in the Temple, where he became a Master, she became a Librarian, and also a Master.

"You trust her that much ?" Undryl asked.

"Yes, with my life in fact." Baozi went on to tell her about how when Jedi give their lightsaber to another they are in essence, giving their life to another Jedi. When jedi trade lightsabers, its the show of raw trust between them that makes it known they trust each other enough with their lives. But what he did not explain was when a Jedi made more then one lightsaber, they could teach how to trust, and who they could choose to trust, by giving many weapons to different Jedi.

Undryl didnt think to ask exactly what Baozi meant when time ran short and things got crazier then they should be, when battles had to be fought, or when calm minds prevailed. Undryl even apparently as a well trained Jedi, still had a lot to learn.

Rishi was just a hyperspace jump away. And it was all they needed to get there and quickly. Undryl wanted to get drunk.

Undryl settled into meditation, never feeling the senses of something dark heading for Arda system, instead she felt the contentment of returning home, to Rishi, was Rishi really her home ? It didnt make a lot of sense. Undryl of course meditated in a strange way, Corellia was where she was bnorn, Corellia was where she had died, but Rishi was where she was reborn as a Tooka, so did that make Rishi her home ?

It must have, but it wasnt easy t oexplain even if someone asked her to do so. Infact, if Undryl was lucky, she wouldnt have to explain anything to anyone whatsoever. At lweast that was her underlying undeniable hope. If someone where to ask her where she was from, shed just say Corellia and leave it at that. She didnt want to get too complicated.

She could have a summer house on Rishi, and her home with her parents on Corellia, it worked out quite honestly.
