Part 4l – Attack of the Clones
And suddenly, the Galaxy was at war, all because of a single planet, two hundred Jedi, and a Droid Army. The unknown planet was a clone creation world. Now I know why Kara was so intent to get to Arda three. She wanted to avoid the bloodshed
- Undryl Stathe, one day after the battle of Geonosis
It had been ten days since dropping off Kara and her group, Tanya, little baby Kira, and others at Arda Three before returning to Rishi, Tooge had two more taxi service jobs to make to Arda Three for the Jedi, each one was with more Knights and a few Padawans who didnt make the cut each time. Apparently Yoda was giving them the chance to go to a new world.
But once the call went out for two hundred Jedi to go to geonosis, even Undryl received the notice, however it was in the form of a vist from Yoda himself. "Good to see you, it is" Yoda said to Undryl upon arrival on Rishi, with a bit of help he managed to get to Blasters Path Cantina to find Undryl who worked there as a bar keeper.
"Master Yoda ? What brings you to Rishi ?" Undryl asked him
"A moment, simply to stop, speak with you I must concerning Arda Three. Important it is, the route Tooge has, secret it be kept. Fear I do, what is to come" Yoda explained to Undryl the need for the clone army on Kamino. That meant that Undryl knew there was going to be a slew of ships going through the Rishi system on the hyperroute to the core worlds for sure.
Undryl was quiet for a long moment. "Master, if you had the chance to save more younglings and padawans, could you send them here ? Tooge and I can handle getting them to Arda Three safely." Undrly had good reason to ask Yoda such a request.
Yoda smiled, "Agree with you I do, send them to you I will. Tomorrow, on your doorstep they will be" Yoda told her, it made Undryl smile as she offered Yoda a drink and some food before he finally paid for his meal and took his leave.
That was the day before, and Undryls doorbell buzzer was going off randomly. So she had to get up and go see what was going down before she got upset about the noise. Howefver activating the door she was surprised to see not the Padawans and younglings she expected, but Nyxia, and she looked upset.
"What is it" Undryl asked, the girl had been crying. "What happened, where is Baozi ?"
"He's currently in the Medical ship in orbit right now, If it wasnt for Masster Nandoon he'd have been slain by a sonic pulse."
"So why are you sad ?" Undryl asked her, only to regret asking such a question as Neyxia explained the battle, how two hundred Jedi had been reduced to several small handfuls in various areas of the Geonosis arena. Getting split from her Master and working with Yoda and the Clones to ensure the survivors could get out of the Arena.
"So it has started" Undryl said, offering for Nyxia to come in before looking left and right to ensure that the way was clear before closing the door. "Karas nightmares of the galaxy going to war came true, what about the Jedi students Yoda promised to send ?"
"They are with Master Baozi, dont worry, they're alright, they sent me down first to talk to you, but Im worried about Master Navaris, he said he wants to take a leave from being a Jedi and go to his homeworld of Cathar to try and regain his internal balance again, he said something about the beach I dunno what it was" Nyxia was talking too fast for Undryl to keep up
Undryls holo went off, it was Bodgey. "Undryl here, Bodgey, whats going on ?"
"Master Yoda has begun recalling Jedi across the galaxy to help with the war effort, he recruited the Kuatian Jedi Padawan, Cynthiana Kuat to be a General in the battles ahead. But theres a problem, she is from Kuat, which means... well, its something important and shouldsnt be told over the holo. Where are you ?"
"At home, on Rishi. Nyxia is with me, Baozi is upstairs in a medical frigate gbetting teratment." Undryl replied, it made Bodgey smile, so Rishi was where she had been reborn ? "Whats going on ?"
"Has Yoda contacted you yet ?" Bodgey asked, she had been asked by Yoda to lead a clone squadron of about ten troops, but she had declined for a time until she was able to speak with a few of them before deciding to take up the job. So it made sense to ask if anyone else she knew had been contacted to take up squads.
"No, I havent received anything yet." Undryl replied. She then told Bodgey that Kara was safe on Arda Three, and was worried her dreams and nightmares were indeed coming true. It was possible that something happened. "Why ?"
"Well, according to Yoda, the Clone Wars have begun, which means that things are now beyond our control, the Jedi are generals in the army now, and I feel that this might be stretching us thin even with the younglings and padawans." Bodgey then explained her fear briefly to the two women, well woman and Tooka, Bdogey kept sensing mistrust, and in some cases, hate towards the Jedi from some of the Clones, whereas from others she sense nothing more then respect, and servitutde from the clones.
"Its possible something is up" Undryl mused.
"I agree" Nyxia said, Bodgey turned slightly to regard the woman who spoke up. "Master Baozi and I havent been asked yet to control a squad or two, I doubt we will need to here on Rishi. If we need to hide, he said, we can do so on Nar Shaddaa, or even Nal Hutta or Boonta."
"Or sneak to Arda Three" Bodgey said, Nyxia nodded. It made sense, more sense then Nyxia was currently thinking but it could work.
"As of right now, we're expecting Padawans and Younglings, and I am picking up a second transmission, she shifted the holo abit and so Bodgey and who was coming in for a call could both speak, she saw a younger looking man dressed in Jedi robes, "Can I help you ?" Undryl asked him
"Maybe, are you Master Stathe ?" the boy asked, "We were told to contact her when we got in orbit. Master Vanvaris is stable, he's asleep now"
"I am Undryl Stathe yes, what can I do for you Padawan ?" Undryl replied
"We need to get to Arda Three, but we wanted to be sure that Master Vanvaris got the help he needed as quickly as possible." The boy said, he looked about fourteen, older then Tanya, yet less wild and much more reserved, he sounded like a deck officer.
"Where are you now ?" Undryl asked him, he seemed slightly nervous to be talking to a ghost, but then the holos looked like ghosts anyhow.
"Directly above in orbit, of Raiders Cove" The boy replied, "It was the only way to get a clear connection to you"
"Raiders cove is a nice place this time of year" Bodgey mused.
"That it may be, have the shuttles aboard your vessel prepped for landing on the surface, if you can have the ship itself land that would also aid us all as well. I need to come aboard and see everyone who is going to Arda three, last I heard, its a pleasure world, so going straight there wont be easy. There is only one ship I know of that has a direct course charted and ready for use. Any other course and jump will only be an issue for all involved."
"I agree ma'am, I'll let the captain know to begin the landing sequence. See you on the surface." The holo winked out.
"Nice kid" Nyxia said simply, briefly letting her emotions get in the way, he was a boy, she was basically an adult.
"Was it wise to have them land ?" Bodgey asked
"They have to land in order to get aboard Tooge's ship safely and then from there for Arda Three. Tooge is the only person that I know of who has the private route, the route only a scant few know of to get to Arda three and not disturbe certain groups of pleasure cruises." Undryl explained, it made Bodgey nodded before the woman said she'd visit soon and then they signed off on both ends.
That conversation went better then expected. And for once Undryl was nervous to meet so many kids at once. She just hoped Tooge was up for it.
