Near of the river was a cave.
It was filled with crystals and snakes. Their queen was biggest of them. "Look who we found!" one of the snakes said. The queen followed him and was suprised because she saw a familiar German Shepherd.
Chase and Marshall walked to closer to the cave. Queen went closer to him. Marshall gasped and said:" The snake!" Chase saw the snake coming closer and froze. "Don't move," he said to Marshall. "Crystal!" Faith shouted:"How are you been!?" "Good," snake said. She went closer to Faith. Pups calmed down. "Just the animent," Marshall said.with relief. "You know each other?" Chase asked. Crystal said:" Of course. Everybody knows about lion princess. And she was there when eagles broke the harmony and took one of the frogs into their place." Marshall and Chase gasped. "They said that lynxes were the bad ones," Marshall said.
Crystal saw the scars on Marshall's face and asked:" You were with eagles?" Pups nodded. Then Chase felt the stangleling on his left front paw. There was a snake who gasped and said to his queen:" Look!" Crystal went closer to Chase. German Shepherd was uncomfortable with them but he didn't moved. Crystal shouted:" Meus puer (My boy)! I never expected you see again!" Chase was confused. The other snake let go of his paw and bowed. He said:"Our queen trusted you with our gem." Chase was speechless. "You have the gem?" Faith asked. Chase said:" I...i don't...i don't know even any of the snakes." Crystal said:" You were bitten by one of us. The gem we held was dieing. Without it we all could have gone with it. We needed someone so it could be alright agains. So i took it into my mouth and i searched for the right being. And i bite him. The piece broke while doing it and became one with his blood. And that him...is you, Chase." Chase was shocked. Marshall and Faith looked at him. "He IS the gem!" Faith asked. "He is now," Crystal said:"And now when we got the gem back...then i hope that you are staying here." "I rather be with my friends," Chase said. Crystal laughed and said:" Of course you do. But you are not going anywhere." The snakes appeared behind them all and they were surrounded.
"I hope that anyone has the idea of how to get out of here," Faith said.
