Sorry for the long wait, I needed time to think of a chapter for this. And Marco's voice actor is David Giuntoli who played Nick Burkhardt in a TV series called Grimm.

Time, Lexi, Alex, Mike, and Sofia stared at Jay with wide and shocked eyes. They couldn't believe what they were looking at. Jay was actually a human/dinosaur hybrid. They did know it was possible to even combine human and dinosaur DNA. Soon, Jay began explaining the reason for his appearance, and that he was created by the most wanted and dangerous man in the world.

Renaldo Mortem.

Upon hearing his name, Tim grew angry as he remembered that some of his men were searching for one of his labs, but they didn't find it because they were never returned alive. Jay explained to them if anyone outside of Mortem's chain of commands, they ended up being killed or worse, experimented on. This made Tim's blood boil as the thought of those good soldiers were killed by that psycho.

"Do you know where his lab is?" Tim asked, sounding incredibly angry.

Jay shook his head in response. "No, I was soon taken on a ship where I continued my brutal training."

"Why were you transferred to a ship?" Sofia asked.

"I tried to escape the island multiple times, but Mortem found out that I was growing more and more intelligent as I almost figured out how to escape. Knowing that I am becoming a threat, he sends me off to train with no means of escaping." Jay explained.

"That's terrible." Alex said in shock.

"But how did you even escape?" Mike asked in confusion.

"It wasn't hard for me to escape after I had memorized the path of the ship before I made my escape." Jay explained with a sigh.

"…And the ones that were on board?" Tim suddenly asked.

"The scientists and guards…yeah…let's just say that I didn't bring any survivors…" Jay trailed off, feeling guilty of destroying the ship with them inside, but he was trying to escape to survive.

Tim sighs as he shakes his head. "So, there's no clue of Mortem's whereabouts or anything?"

"None that I can remember. But I only know that he's searching for someone, a woman." Jay explained to them.

"A woman?" Alex asked in confusion.

Jay nodded. "Sí, I believe that this woman was once Mortem's old partner and he's obsessed with finding her." He explained to them.

"Obsessed? Obsessed, how?" Tim questions him seriously.

"Like crazy, when I was still locked up, I remembered Mortem yelling at his men to find her. He said something about her having a key to human evolution." Jay explained to Tim.

"You know her name? Her appearance? Anything?" Tim asked more questions, wanting to find information to stop Mortem once and for all.

"What Jay told me before," Owen steps in and goes over to Tim seriously. "Jay doesn't know WHO she is or WHAT she looks like. He can only hear a little thing that Mortem could say through his prison."

"Owen's right. But during my imprisonment, I could hear the reason why Mortem wanted her."

"What is it?" Lexi asked curiously, wanting to know like her brother.

"She made something that Mortem wanted." Jay said to them.

"What did she make that Mortem wanted?" Sofia asked.

"Some kind of serum of some sort. I don't know what it can do, but it could change the world."

"Hmmm…this might be a lead into catching this man once and for all." Tim said seriously.

"Tim, I know don't be obsessed by this again." Lexi said to her brother worriedly.

"Lexi, good men died trying to find that psycho's hideout!" Tim exclaims, scaring and surprising the group. "How can I relax if the psycho is still out there, harming people!"

"Tim! I know you're mad that you lost those men. But you can be obsessed with finding him like that." Lexi said, trying to calm his brother.

"Did something happen?" Sofia asked worriedly.

Tim sighs as he sits down on a chair. "Years ago, one of the squadrons went on a search for Mortem's base. They were on a mission to find it and send a beacon…but we lost their signal. Their last transmission…was them screaming." He explained grimly with guilt.

"You mean…they were…" Alex was cut off when Tim nodded his head.

"They didn't make it…and I promise myself that I will find that man and put him to justice for taking the lives of those good soldiers." Tim said with sadness and anger in his voice. "I should've been there. I should've helped them."

"There's nothing you can do to change that." Jay began with a shaken head. "Mortem is a man of science, he has dangerous men working for him, and if he wants something, he gets it."

"Is there a way to stop him?" Owen asked.

"No, like I said before, Mortem is a dangerous man." Jay said.

Owen sighs and shakes his head, just once can he have a day to spend time with his niece. But now, he feels that he should always keep her safe when there's a psycho on the loose. The thought of her getting hurt by that madman.

"Is that all you know?" Tim suddenly asked Jay.

Jay nodded. "Sí, my memories are still blurry after my haste escape. But few are returning…most of them. But I do remember that I am not the only experiment on the island."

"How many?" Tim jolted to the question, wanting to know the information.

"Tim! He's just got some of his memories back." Lexi said, trying to get her brother to relax.

Jay responded with a shrug. "To be honest, I don't know if they're still there…they have either been killed or transported to another location."

Tim sighs and shakes his head in annoyance, he has no lead in finding that mad man now. So far, he only knows that Mortem was kidnapping civilians and doing illegal experimentation.

"We should talk about this some other time." Wu suggested as he looked at his phone. "I have to be in a meeting soon."

"Yeah, and I have to pick up Val from Barry and go back to the raptor paddock." Owen said.

"We should check in with Claire, Tim. You can talk to Jay later." Lexi said to her brother.

Tim sighs but agrees, he wants more information about Mortem as soon as possible. So, they all left the private lab, but not before they promised to keep Jay's identity a secret, and then headed towards their own destination. Jay had to take Mike to Claire first since she was going to show him the Control Center. And, like the others, Claire was surprised to see Mike's new look, but she was given an explanation to Jay, adding the fact that Mike, Sofia, Alex, Time, and Lexi knew about Renaldo Mortem, and made sure that they kept it a secret.

Claire gave Mike's schedule and the location. Jay volunteers to take Mike there while Claire contacts Lowery and Vivian about Mike. Afterwards, Jay leads Mike to the control center. They took the elevator that brought them to the control center. Jay gave the pass to the security guard as he allowed the males to enter. There was a big screen in front of them along with many computers. The employees working at the control center were searching through the data or receiving calls from areas that might have security problems.

"Wow…talk about high tech." Mike mutters out.

"Sí, Jurassic World has many dinosaurs roaming about, they have to make sure security is tight and not allow any casualty." Jay explained to Mike before spotting Lowery and Vivian. "Ah, here we are."

Jay and Mike went over to Lowery and Vivian, who were talking about Ivy and Iris, and how they became popular in Jurassic World after some tourists posted them in the lab and how it went viral overnight. It was getting to the point that people wanted to see the opening of the Indominus Enclosure.

"I'm telling you." Lowery began with a grin. "They'll make great action figures for Jurassic World and be sold out from the shelves in no time."

"Lowery, they're still not yet on display and you're already thinking about them being in action figures?" Vivian asked with a joking smile.

"Hey, it could happen." Lowery said before noticing Mike and Jay coming over. "And speaking of something happening, our new intern has just arrived."

Vivian turned around and saw them. "Oh, you must be Mike Jones, right?"

Mike nodded. "That's me."

"I'm Vivian Krill and this Lowery Cruthers, we'll be helping you with controls." Vivian said.

"Sure thing, Ms. Krill." Mike said.

"Just Vivian will do." She said to him kindly.

"And Lowery." Lowery added, taking a bite on his burger.

Mike nodded before he noticed Lowery's shirt. It was a shirt from the infamous Jurassic Park. Mike remembered reading an old article of how Jurassic Park was shut down, due to the power outage, dinosaurs breaking out, and the deaths of some employees.

"Where did you get that t-shirt?" Mike suddenly asked, looking at Lowery's shirt curiously.

Lowery looks down at his shirt and answers. "Oh, this? I got it on eBay."

"I'm surprised that people are able to sell what was left from the original park." Mike said to Lowery.

"Yeah, it's surprising too and I got it for just 150 dollars but the mint condition one goes for 300." Lowery explained to Mike.

"You wasted 300 dollars for that T-shirt?" Jay questions Lowery.

"Yup, it's an okay deal if you ask me." Lowery said with a grin.

"I didn't." Jay replied blankly while rolling his eyes under his sunglasses. He then turned towards Mike. "I should go now; I have to help Owen with the raptors. I'll see you at Winston's Steakhouse."

"Sure, thanks Jay." Mike said with a small smile.

"De nada." Jay said with a small wave as he walked out of the control room and towards the elevator.

"So…Mike?" Lowery began as the elevator's doors closed. "You know how to do computers?"

"Yeah, I got the highest grade in computers and tech." Mike said before going over to them.

"Good, because you have to learn about the security, tracking, and paddock sections." Vivian began.

"Wait, we can open paddocks?" Mike asked in surprise.

"That's right, the Control Center has access to all paddocks. They can unlock it here even without the ID card." Lowery explained.

"Huh, I have a lot to learn." Mike said with amazement.

Vivian chuckled a bit. "Yes, you do. Okay, now let's start with the basic controls and scanning of the dinosaur's trackers." She explained.

For the whole day, Mike was being tutored by Vivian and Lowery in securities and data of the Control Center. Mike would make mental notes of how things work around here and made sure to know what not to do because if he makes a single mistake, the whole park will be in total chaos. Soon afterwards, it was lunch time, Mike asked if Lowery and Vivian would join him and Jay for lunch, but the two declined since Vivian had a heavy breakfast while Lowery already packed his lunch, though they did thank him for the kind offer. Soon, Mike left the control center and headed towards Winston's Steakhouse. But only to stop when he spotted Clyde and his friends being escorted out of the hotel by Jurassic World' security and towards the ferry. Mike watched from afar and made sure to not get spotted as he investigated what's going on.

"They've been kicked out of the park." Said a male voice.

Mike jumped in surprise by this as he turned to see a man about the same age as Owen. He has black hair, green eyes, and tan skin. He was wearing a black bomber jacket with a white shirt under it, jeans, and brown boots. He was sitting at a bench that was next to Mike, who didn't notice until now, and was simply reading a newspaper.

"W-What do you mean?" Mike asked in confusion.

"They were caught causing trouble in the park, broke an item of Jurassic World property, and harassed a person." The man said, flipping the next page with a blank expression.

"H-How do you know that?" Mike asked suspiciously towards the man.

"Word spread quickly around here." The man said to Mike blankly, not giving a glance to Mike. "From what I heard those boys have been banned from Jurassic World with a restraining order."

"That's…a little extreme." Mike said as he glanced over to see security guiding Clyde and his friends out of the park.

The man scoffed as he read the newspaper. "Their problems, not yours. You should learn to take care of yourself more often, kid." He said.

Mike turned to him in confusion. "What?"

"They caused this on their own and they have to deal with the consequences that will happen to them." The man said before closing his paper and folded it. He got up the bench and was about to leave, but not before he turned his head slightly and glanced over to Mike.

"Just a reminder, the world can be cruel, don't show weakness or trust anybody so easily. The only person you should trust is yourself."

And with that, the man left, leaving a very confused and worried Mike. He didn't understand what the man meant and was about to ask, but he was already gone, and disappeared through the crowd of tourists. Mike was left in the dark, not sure if he should understand the man's words or not. But he can't think of it right now. He has to meet up with Jay at Winston's Steakhouse.

Though he had no idea he just met the man that would steal valuable information.

Owe releases a sigh as he leans over to the railings of the raptor paddock. He was watching the girls racing around the paddock. It's been a busy day for him. When Barry and Owen came back with Val, Hoskins was there, waiting for them. He kept bothering both Owen and Barry with questions about any changes of the raptor behavior and if they brought Val in again. They avoided those questions, though Owen said no to Hoskins about putting Val in again, since the raptors won't let her go if they brought Val in the second time, even though the first time getting in was an accident. However, Hoskins doesn't know that Owen would sneak Val with Jay, so Wu would study their reaction with one another. So, yeah, it's been a pretty busy day for Owen.

"Uncle Owen?"

Owen looks down to see Val standing beside him. She was giving her adorable eyes as she was tugging the side of his pants. Owen gave her a smile as he gently picked her up. "Yes, Val?"

"You look tired." She said to him, "Did something happen?"

Owen sighs again. Val notices him stressing out about the curtain situation, aka Renaldo Mortem. There's a psycho on the loose, he doesn't want his niece to get involved in such a dilemma. He wanted her to grow up with a normal life. Well, normal is a bit overrated considering Val is living with him in Jurassic World and she's probably going to do online classes in the near future. But that wasn't the case, all Owen wanted was Val to be happy after what she has been through.

"I'm fine, Val. You don't have to worry about me." Owen assured with a smile.

"Daddy always worried about you." Val said to Owen.

"Really now, why's that?" Owen asked playfully.

"He thought you were crazy working here." Val said with a giggle.

"Did he now! Oh, that dad of yours thinking that his little brother can't handle himself." Owen said jokingly as he tickled Val, making her laugh uncontrollably.

Suddenly, they heard a roar from below. Owen stops tickling Val as they both look down at the paddock to see Blue Delta, Charlie, and Echo looking at them. The raptors heard Val from above as she was emitting strange noises. Thinking that she was in trouble, the raptors' motherly instincts kicked in and went towards the direction where Val was. They saw their Alpha doing something to their hatchling as she emitted strange sounds. Blue, thinking that their Alpha was harming the hatchling, roared towards them. She caught both their attention as they looked at her and her sisters, wondering what's going on.

"What the?" Owen mutters in confusion as Blue was giving him a death glare. "What's wrong with them? They never acted like this before." Owen looked at his niece. "Do you know the reason?"

"Uh-huh, they thought you were hurting me." Val said to Owen truthfully.

"Well, that's a big fat lie, I would never hurt you, ever." Owen said to Val with a smile before giving Blue a scolding look for accusing him of thinking that he was hurting Val, which earned a snort from Blue. "Come on, let's order some lunch before I start training."

"Can I have a veggie burger?" Val asked kindly.

Owen chuckled and nodded. "Sure, and I'll get Barry a kiddie meal."

"I heard that!" Barry's voice said from afar.

Owen and Val laughed happily as he carried his niece down the rails and got ready to order their lunch while the raptors followed them from below. Though they barely notice Hoskins was watching from afar, observing the whole thing. You see, he wanted to know why the raptors are so attached to Val. There could be possible theories like her scent matches Owen's and think that she's part of the pack or…or she's like them.

A mutant child.

He heard from news and articles saying that there were signs of kids or teens with mutant powers. Hoskins tried to find out more, but they were all classified thanks to government and secret services. He couldn't even get a hold of any more info about them, much to his dismay, but when Val showed up…things were getting weird around the park like dinos were acting all happy whenever they saw her. Yes, he saw how they react when they are with her, he witnesses at first hand at Rexy's paddock when the old dinosaur suddenly lies on her belly and doesn't harm her. Hoskins wanted more intel of Val and why she was so special towards the dinosaurs. Hoskins became more suspicious when Jay showed up. The mysterious teen just showed up out of nowhere and suddenly became Owen's intern in raptor trainer. I mean, what the hell?! The kid just came here for one day and suddenly the raptors seem to obey him much better than Owen! There was no way that this kid could be a raptor trainer so easily. And what's weird, there was no info about his arrival or having files about him, not even one damn file! He will get his information one way or another. But for now, he must observe them and find out the reason about Jay and Val.

But he didn't know that someone was going to get important information from a certain scientist.

Later that night, as everyone was in bed, after the workers herded up all the herbivores to their nighttime enclosure, everyone was either in bed or enjoying a nightly stroll or drinking at shops or a bar. However, there are workers who have night shifts to watch over the dinosaurs. Wu was one of those workers. Well, he doesn't have nightly shifts. He was in his private room at Jurassic World's hotel as he was finishing up some files about Indominus Rexes. He made sure to keep a safe file that only he could have access to. He wrote some information about how Ivy and Iris are so attached to Val since her ability to communicate with them. The way she communicates with them has no words to express how amazing it was to see them so docile and caring towards her. It was an extraordinary discovery of communication with beasts. Heck, he even made a file about Val's ability, but in a private section of his laptop. He didn't tell Owen about this yet since he didn't want to upset the man. However, as Wu continuously typed some info about the Indominus, he heard something from the living room. Stopping his work, Wu turns towards the open door with concern. He didn't recall inviting someone.

"Hello?" Wu called out through the door.

No answer.

Wu closed his laptop and got up from his seat as he headed out of his room towards the hall. It was dark and there was small light emitting through the kitchen. Wu felt a chill run down his spine as though someone was able to come into his private room. But the problem is, he had the door lock. Wu then heard something in the living room, which startled the scientist in the process. Suspicious and slightly scared, Wu felt like someone broke into his room without him knowing. Feeling paranoia slowly consume him, Wu grabbed a stapler as his weapon as he slowly crept through the dark hall of his private room and towards the living room. He could feel his heart pounding on his chest, feeling fear and adrenaline coming through his veins. He peeked through the corner of the arch opening to see through the kitchen. So far, there was no one here, he walked closer to the living room and found no trace of anyone in his kitchen.

"Huh, must've been my ima-"

Wu was cut off when something hit him on the back of his head so hard that he fell on the floor unconscious. Behind him was a hooded man, wearing a skull mask. He walked towards Wu's office and found his laptop. The mysterious masked man sat down and opened the computer with his black gloves. He took out what appears to be USB but advanced looking. He plugged it and suddenly the laptop automatically turns on, giving him access to all Wu's files. The man started typing something through the keyboard. The data was showing unknown codes whenever the man types before it makes a check sign, allowing all the files to be downloaded into the USB, and erasing all known files within Wu's laptop. After all the files were all transferred to the USB, the man unplugged it and shut down the laptop, before leaving the office, and disappearing through the hall.

Leaving an unconscious Wu on the ground.

"What are you doing, amigo?" Jay asked, walking Mike to the Control Center.

It was early in the morning and every worker was opening shops and stores. Mike was reading some notes that Vivian gave to him, to get him ready when he works at the Control Room. Mike was studying through the notes while going to work early since he must help Vivian and Lowery with controls. He was incredibly good at computers and data operation, much advanced than anyone.

"Just running down some notes Vivian gave me." Mike answered to Jay, flipping through his notepad. "Gotta be ready for anything, you know?"

"Convenido." Jay said with a nod. Suddenly, his cellphone rang, causing Jay to pick up his phone and answer while walking towards the Innovation Center. "Hola?"

"Jay? It's Claire, do you have time to check on Wu? I've been calling him all morning, but he wouldn't answer." Claire said through the phone.

"Sí, I'll go check on him." Jay said through the phone.

"Thank you, Jay."

"De nada." Jay said before closing his phone. "Claire asked me to go check on Dr. Wu, apparently he missed a few calls from Claire."

"I'll tag along." Mike said.

"You sure? You don't want to be late for work." Jay said.

"Nah, I still have time." Mike said.

"If you say so, mi amigo." Jay said with a shrug.

The two teens went to Jurassic World's hotel and asked the front desk about Wu's room. Luckily, since Jay and Mike are friends with Wu, the workers and employees knew about them, and allowed the two males to go to Wu's private room at the top floor.

"Man, who knew Wu got his own private room?" Mike said in impressed as he and Jay were taken by an elevator to the floor where Wu's room is.

"He is the Chief of Genetics after all." Jay replied before the elevator reached the floor as it opened the doors. "So, yes, he gets special treatment."

"Lucky man." Mike said with a chuckle before stopping at the room that is addressed to Wu. "This is the room." Mike started knocking on the door. "Wu? It's Mike, are you in there?" Mike called out while knocking on the door.

"Hmmm…" Jay hums out in suspicion. "Something's wrong."

"What's wrong?" Mike asked with concern.

"Wu's in there…and I think he's hurt." Jay said in a panic tone.

Feeling that Jay had a point, Mike tried to open the door, but it was locked from the inside. They were thinking of breaking down the door, but that's bad, so they decided to use a better option. Picking the lock. And Jay, using one of his sharp claws, easily picks the lock and opens the door, and to their shock. They saw Dr. Henry Wu, lying on the ground, unconscious.

"Holy shit! Dr. Wu!" Mike exclaimed as he and Jay went over to the unconscious scientist.

Jay gently flips the scientist onto his back and gently pats his face to wake him up. "Dr. Wu? Wake up."

"Oh, my God. Is he okay?" Mike mutters in worry.

"He's waking up!" Jay said as he and Mike heard a soft groan from the scientist.

Wu fluttered his eyes and saw through his blurry images of Jay and Mike, looking at him with concern. "M-Mike? J-Jay? Ugh…my head." He mutters as he slowly sits up while rubbing his head.

"What happened?" Mike asked in concern.

"I…I don't know much. I was working on some files on my computer until I heard something in my living room. And…oh, my God!" Wu suddenly mutters in fear as he gets up and stumbles to his office.

"Dr. Wu?" Mike asked in confusion and concern as he and Jay followed him to his office.

They saw the scientist stumble to his seat and turn on his laptop before typing something. And to his shock and horror, all the files and data he had were gone! He searches through his computer, hoping that his back up files were still there, but no. Not a single file was left behind.

"No…NO!" Wu exclaimed in shock and horror.

"Dr. Wu?" Jay spoke softly, wondering what was wrong.

"They're gone, they're all gone!" Wu exclaimed in fear and shame.

"Dr. Wu, what are you talking about? What's gone?" Mike asked in concern.

Wu turns to them in panic. "The files of information about the hybrids were there. Including Val AND her ability."

Mike and Jay gasped in both shock and horror.

"What?" Mike whispers in shock. "How?"

"I…I don't know how, but it must've been the one that knocked me out and stole the files." Wu said in a sheer panic. "But what I don't understand is how that person gets in my room without getting noticed."

"He."

Mike and Wu turned to Jay in confusion. The human/raptor hybrid was standing at the doorway of Wu's office. He didn't turn to them as he was busy sniffing the air. "I could still smell his scent that was left in your room." He answered before following the trail.

Mike and Wu followed Jay as he went towards the linen chute that was between the bedroom and bathroom. They saw Jay sniffing on the linen chute before nodding his head.

"The man was here. He must've used the linen chute as an access to get past security and to your room." Jay explained to them.

"That's impossible." Wu said. "We're on the top floor, how can that man simply climb up here?"

"Because he's someone to not underestimate." Jay began, getting Mike and Wu's attention. The human hybrid turns to them with a serious expression under his shades. "I know this because the man that broke into your room is the one working for Renaldo Mortem."

"How can this be?" Wu said in shock.

"And how do you know if he's working for Mortem?" Mike asked Jay.

"I recognized the scents of those who worked for Mortem." Jay explained to them as he investigated the linen chute seriously. "And this one, is Mortem's right hand man. He is more dangerous than anyone could imagine."

"And why is that?" Wu dared to ask.

"He's an assassin, trained to kill and to serve." Jay explained grimly, earning a gulp from Mike. "We need to call Owen and tell him the situation before it's too late."

"Too late? What do you mean?" Mike asked his friend in concern.

"Before it's too late to stop Mortem from finding out about Val."
