Owen was at the docking area with Barry and Tim. They were going to pick up the old scientist known as Carlos Delarosa or Carl Dale. They waited for him while others were at Wu's private lab, keeping any on Val. After their chat with Carl, the old scientist booked a flight to Costa Rica and got a ferry ride to Jurassic World. There are many questions within their minds. They soon saw the ferry docking and many tourists came out of it. They were all excited to come to the park. But one of the tourists, an old man, was coming out of the gangplank with a suitcase in hand and a cane on the other.

"That must be Carl." Owen said to them before they walked over to the old man. "Mr. Dale?"

Carl looked up at Owen and nodded a greeting. "I see I have my escorts."

"Yeah, follow us, we'll show you where Val is." Owen said to the old man.

Carl nodded and allowed Tim to carry his suitcase. Tim was surprised how heavy the suitcase was, wondering what was inside. But decided to find out as they led the old man to their destination. They sneak past Hoskins and head towards Wu's secret lab. They quickly enter the room as Owen shuts the door with a sigh. Alex and Sofia were reading Val's fairy tale book, trying to pass the time, but when Val looked up, she instantly gasped with joy and jumped off the seat and ran over to Carl.

"Mr. Dale!" Val said happily and hugged his legs happily. "It's good to see you!"

Carl smiled at her gently and patted her head. "It's good to see you as well, Valentina. My, have you grown."

Val giggled as she pointed her thumb to herself proudly. "Yup! I'm a big girl now!"

"Yes, yes you are." Carl said to her gently before they had all a brief introduction to one another. After that, Carl took a seat on a chair and looked at the group with a serious expression on his face. "I take it that you know about the situation?"

Wu nodded as he showed his Alma's files. "I still can't believe she placed a super serum in her own daughter."

"She thought it was best." Carl explained to Wu. "She didn't want to leave it unsupervised."

Owen walked over to Carl and asked. "Is there a way to remove it from Val?"

Carl shook his head. "I'm afraid not. Once Project Alpha has accepted a host, it will be fused with her, and will not be able to transfer as it will cause serious damage to her body." He said to Owen.

"Shit." Owen mutters in annoyance and anger.

Carl saw this and placed a gentle hand on Owen's shoulder. "I understand your frustration, but you need to calm down, I will tell you about Project Alpha." Owen looked at the old man and nodded as Carl began his explanation. "Project Alpha was created to change the world for the better. To cure rare illnesses and restore missing limbs."

"We know, we read it from her files that she left." Mike said to Carl.

"Indeed, she wanted to make sure that when she passes, you, Owen, will know about Valentina's gift." Carl said to Owen.

"Dr. Delarosa, I mean…Dale, is it?" Tim began.

"Just call me Carl, it's safer that way."

"Okay…can I ask you something?" Tim asked, earning a nod from the old scientist. "How did…how did Mortem become…you know…?"

"A mad scientist that is wanted around the world?" Carl stated his question, followed by a sigh from the old man. "Truth be told, he wasn't always like this."

"Wait." Jay stops the old scientist. "You're telling us that Renaldo Mortem wasn't always a madman?"

"I know it sounds strange, but he was once a gifted young man. His mind was in the right place. His dream was to save humanity. That was his life dream."

"Then…what changed? What made him go…insane?" Lexi asked with hesitation.

Carl sighs as he had a bad reminder of his old student doing something…wrong. "He was seventeen when one of his experiments…changed him."

~Flashback~

Mortem, in his teen years, was in a laboratory, mixing chemicals. He was late at night, searching for answers for a way for his experiment to work. He wasn't alone. There was a desk that had two cages. One was for a white rat and the other one was a lizard. The young scientist was so focused on his task that he had no time to focus on other things.

"Mortem was a gifted student, a genius. I believe there are no limits in science. I knew one day he would have achieved great things. So, I allow him free rein in the lab, even after hours. Encouraging him to succeed with his work…but it was a grave mistake."

When Mortem poured different colored liquid into a beaker, it started to react and created an explosion that destroyed the lab.

"I was not aware that his experiment would be dangerous."

Mortem was able to survive the explosion as he got out of a desk with a loud gasp. He panted in pure shock as he looked at the now destroyed lab before he heard something. Getting up, Mortem limped towards the direction of the strange sound. It was a mix of a rat and a gecko. Mortem looked around the corner and gasped to see something…disturbing. Both animals have been mixed into one. It has the features of the rat, hence the part that has lizard skin, a tail, and eyes. There were little patches of fur on it. But it was sickly and was struggling to move. Instead of being scared or disgusted, Mortem stared at it with wide and fascinated eyes as a sick grin slowly spread across his face.

"I should've given him limits with his experiment. And now…now he has become obsessed with his work and power."

~End of Flashback~

The group stared at Carl with wide eyes. They couldn't believe Mortem became a madman when he saw his creation. Carl had a guilty look on his face, feeling that it was his fault that he allowed Mortem to become what he is.

"After his experiment, he became drunk with an ambition of power." Carl explained with guilt, clutching his cane. "He realized that humans were not capable of this world, but metahumans can. Mortem believes that power is strength. And he's been doing secret experiments behind my back."

"Experiments? What kind of experiments?" Tim asked suspiciously.

"Illegal, human experiments." Carl said in a dreaded voice, making the group gasp in shock. "Mortem used a homeless man to try his experiment."

"A human guinea pig." Owen mutters in anger as he holds Val tightly.

"I found him before he could continue harming the man. I was furious at what he had done. We argued as he told me that humans are weak and need to be strong. I knew he was mad, and I had enough with his nonsense. I had no choice but to expel him and place him in asylum. I hoped one day that he would understand what he did was wrong…but instead, he grew even madder, as he was able to escape the asylum and then…he made his criminal empire."

The group looked at each other worriedly, they now know how it happened and why he became mad about experimenting on people so much. Carl continued his explanation that when Mortem escaped, he went into hiding. But Carl heard from some people that Mortem was selling illegal drugs to drug dealers, making a lot of money. And soon, he started making illegal weapons and selling them off to terrorists. He had a lot of money so the madman created his own organization called the Serpenti Neri (Black Serpent in Italian), where he continues to sell illegal items in the black-markets. No one knows where his location is. Many special forces searched but couldn't find it. When someone was close to finding it…they just vanished. As years go by, Mortem hears about Alma creating a powerful serum that would grant anyone powers. Mortem tried to persuade Alma to give him the serum, but she refused, not wanting to use it as a weapon. Mortem sends a group of soldiers to take it by force, but Alma was able to escape thanks to Carl. Carl and Alma fled Italy and made their way to the US. There, they used fake names, and both hid themselves from Mortem. That way, he can never find them nor Project Alpha. Carl and Alma knew that they must be separated, to lose their trails from Mortem, but they made sure to stay in contact in secret. That way, Carl can check on her from time to time.

"How did Alma transfer Project Alpha to Val?" Tim suddenly asked.

Owen gave him the look. "Hey, man. Not in front of my niece." He said quietly.

"Sorry, I just want to know."

"It's alright. It's best that you all know the reason." Carl said with a sigh. "Alma knew that she can't hide the serum in a hidden place, Mortem might track it down. The only way to hide it is in the one safe place. Her daughter.

"Why her?" Owen asked, holding his niece, "She could've just injected someone else. Not a little girl!"

"I know you're angry Owen, but Alma didn't have a choice. Val was the only one who could carry it. That way she can monitor her and Project Alpha."

Owen sighs a bit and holds a worried Val while Wu asks Carl about the serum. "How did Alma put the serum into Val?"

"Not alone, I helped her inject the serum into her, so it will get to Val's unborn state as it becomes one with Valentina's blood."

"Wait…" Barry interrupted his explanation as he leaned over his seat. "The serum became her blood?"

Carl nodded at this. "Yes, as the serum became one with Valentina's blood and it cannot be taken away."

"What do you mean?" Claire asked curiously.

"Once the serum is removed from Valentina, it will atomically evaporate within a few minutes. If someone tries to inject themselves with it, the serum will kill that person within seconds. Basically, the blood in Val's veins cannot live without its life host."

"The serum is deadly to be removed and to be injected, right?" Jay questions him.

"That's right, and I have a feeling Mortem knows that." Carl said to him with worry. "I have a feeling that he knows that Alma is no longer alive, and that Valentina has no one that will protect her."

"W-What do you mean?" Sofia dared to ask.

"As you have told me, Mortem has sent a spy to infiltrate Wu's room to steal the information about his hybrids and Val's abilities." Carl said to them. "This spy is studying your weaknesses, waiting for you all to be vulnerable."

After hearing that, Owen hugs his niece protectively. "There is no way in hell that bastard is going to get my niece." He said seriously with anger.

"That is why we must stay alert. He cannot know about your location." Carl said to Owen.

"Hopefully, he hasn't found it yet." Tim mutters out worriedly.

"Um…Carl?" Sofia began, causing the old man to look at her. "How does Project Alpha work? I mean, we know it can give powers but how can we do it?"

"Excellent question, dear." Carl said with a nod. "The only way for a user to get power from Project Alpha is through Val's tears."

"My tears?" Val asked in confusion, placing a hand close to her eyes.

"Yes, your tears can transfer Project Alpha to someone who needs it. Giving him or her power and strength."

"Like Mike's energy power." Alex suddenly said.

Carl nodded his head. "Indeed, but it can only work if someone has a serious condition, sickness, or injuries."

Jay looked at Mike with an observational look. "Mike did have seeing problems and had trouble breathing." He explained to Carl.

Mike agreed with Jay. "Yeah, I used to have them, but when I was with Val…they disappeared the next morning."

Carl rubbed his chin. "I see…it appears the serum is advancing into new levels."

"What do you mean?" Owen asked suspiciously.

"When one is given power, it usually takes three or four days to react, but it appears that it is advancing to a whole new level." Carl explained before looking at Val. "Though I am surprised that there aren't changes within Val."

"Changes? What kind of changes?" Owen asked Carl curiously with suspicion.

"Well, Alma told me that once Project Alpha was inside of Val, she would've inherited some abilities." Carl said to them.

"…Should I be aware of these abilities?" Owen dared to ask.

"Not to worry, it's only minor abilities like talking to animals, sensing them, and being able to calm them down." Carl listened to them, earning a sigh of relief from Owen, until the old scientist added. "But Alma did warn me that Val might inherit some…other abilities like controlling the elements, shapeshift, healing abilities, immune to different types of poisons-"

"Okay, stopping you there." Owen cuts off the scientist. "It was fine when you said that she can talk to animals, but THAT takes the cake."

"Well, at least you'll know what might come." Sofia said, trying to lighten up the mood.

"But make sure you put a fire extinguisher, just in case she has fire powers." Barry suggested.

"Oh, real mature Barry, you're such a comedian." Owen said sarcastically, earning a few chuckles from the group. "So…what now? Do we wait for him to come?"

"No, but I fear that he might locate your house. I suggest you find another place to stay for the time being or install cameras." Carl said.

"We can install some cameras around Owen's home. That way, we can monitor any unauthorized guests around the area." Tim explained about his plan, wanting to put a stop on Mortem's plan.

"We'll make sure that your home is secure." Lexi said to Owen kindly.

Owen looks at his niece with worry as she was giving him an innocent look. "I hope so." He whispers out.

So, Tim and Mike set some cameras around Owen's house. They even added motion sensor lights, just in case and for safety precautions. Owen made sure that Val was close to him and he had to bring her to work every day, not leaving her side or losing sight of her. It was no problem for Owen with his niece since she is well behaved, and the raptors enjoy her company. They would screech at her, trying to get her attention whenever she eats something sweet, so she can share with them. Although, there is a downside, Hoskins. The leader of Jurassic World's private security force would often try to be close to Val but would be stopped by Owen or when the raptors started hissing at him from below. He tries to get any info on her, however; it seems that someone is preventing to get the info he needs. No matter how hard he tries, Owen will not allow Hoskins near his niece at all. Speaking of which, Val was with her uncle at the muzzle restraints. There, she saw Blue, Charlie, Delta, and Echo were restrained and were growling about any passing worker. Owen was patting Blue while Barry was patting Delta. The teal color green raptor was calm around Barry. He showed a good understanding of her behavior whenever she looked at him. It's like Owen and Blue's bond together. And it's kinda cute. Val stood beside her uncle, watching him pet Blue gently. Val tilts her head towards Blue curiously, she is always fascinated about raptors. Her mommy and daddy would tell her stories about dinosaurs before they tuck her to bed. They even gave her Honey, her raptor doll since she was a baby. Blue glanced towards Val; her amber eyes contacted her sapphire eyes. Val tilted her head at her while Blue tried to tilt her head, wanting to copy Val. But the restraints prevented her from doing so. Owen noticed this before turning his head towards Val, seeing her tilting her head before tilting on the other side while Blue tries to copy her the best way she can. Smiling, Owen turned towards his niece with a kind smile.

"Wanna pet Blue?" He asked her kindly.

Val gasped in happiness and nodded her head. Owen picks up his niece and holds her besides Blue. The Beta raptor looked at Blue with a happy purr as she allowed Val to pet her. She enjoys Val's little hands touching her scales. They were soft and ticklish. Val giggled at Blue happily. Finding it fun to pet a raptor. Owen smiles at her gently, feeling the stress and worry slowly fading off his chest, as he lets Val hug Blue's muzzle. Usually, this kind of action would startle a raptor, but it seems that it didn't affect Blue as she purrs towards Val happily.

"Blue really likes you, Val. You know that, right?" Owen said to Val gently.

"Uh-huh, Blue said that I smell nice." Val said to Owen, making the man chuckle at his niece.

"What? She doesn't like my scent?" He joked.

"Yup, she said you're stinky, the others agree too." Val added while Owen gave her a playful scowl.

"Excuse me, I take a bath regularly." Owen said in a matter-of-fact tone.

Barry chuckled as he turned towards the Gradys. "You sure? You haven't removed the stench of sweat yet."

"It's manly sweat!" Owen declared, earning laughter from Val and Barry while Blue and her sisters snorted at him.

"Owen!" Tim's voice came. Owen looks up from his niece to see Tim and Jay at the gate. "Got a minute?" The USMC 1st Lieutenant asked.

Owen nodded and placed Val on the ground. "Val, stay with Barry, okay? I'll be back."

Val saluted at him. "Okay!" She giggled and went over to Barry.

Owen smiled at her before going towards Tim and Jay. "What's up? Got any news?"

"Yes and no." Tim said to Owen. "I made contact with some buddies back on base and told them about Mortem close by."

"Did you…" Owen dared to ask.

Tim shook his head. "No, I didn't tell them about Val. I only told them about Dr. Wu's files being stolen by one of his men. They're sending out a squad to track down the spy."

Owen sighs in relief, knowing that Tim didn't break his promise. "So, when will they get here?"

"Tomorrow. We'll set up a search through the perimeter of the area. And don't worry, we won't make a scene."

"I hope not, I don't want Hoskins to find out." Owen mutters out, eyeing towards the direction of the rafters, where Hoskins stood, watching them.

"Or Masrani." Jay added to him.

"Yeah, we wouldn't want him to worry." Owen agreed with Jay. "But…maybe we should tell him that his park is in danger…maybe he can help us."

"You think he'll help us?" Tim asked Owen with concern.

"I hope so, look. He may be a billionaire, but he is always concerned about the people's safety." Owen said to them.

"Then let us hope we can do this." Jay said.

But they have no idea the danger is about to come.

Later that night, Val was tucked into bed, Owen was talking with Barry in the living room. Discussing if Owen should find another place to stay because he felt something was wrong. Like someone was watching him from afar.

And there was, far from Owen's house, Marco was on top of a cliff, spying through a pair of advanced binoculars. It was made by Mortem to see through far distances and has an infrared scanner. He's been watching from a safe distance after he found out that owner, Owen, had installed motion sensor lights. Thus, making it quite challenging for Marco. However, Marco is skilled in spying as he found an easy location to watch them from afar. He's been studying the house for days now and finding the weakness of it. He puts down the binocular before taking out what appears to be a sniper rifle. He points at a certain window and fires a single shot. It wasn't a bullet, but a tracker, as it sticks on top of the window of the room of Val's. It made a faint beeping light, indicating that it was on, before Marco put the rifle down and placed two fingers on a communicator on his ear.

"Marco to bravo team, tracker is locked on target."

"This is Bravo team, we receive the location of the target." Said a man through comm. "Search and Capture is a go."

"Affirmative, Marco out." Marco said before ending the call as he looked back to the Grady's residence. "They are going to have a field day." He mutters out before grabbing his rifle and then walks away as he prepares for his departure.

Meanwhile, Mike was sitting on the bench where he had a strange conversation with the man that he met a few days ago. And this spot where he witnesses Clyde and his friends being escorted out of Jurassic World. Part of him was relieved that they were gone, but he felt guilty to get them banned from the park. Yet, something inside of him is telling him that they brought it upon themselves. He tried to clear it off his head by going for a nightly stroll, but it doesn't seem to be working. There was something in his mind. He can't seem to get over the words that the strange man said to him. It's still played in his head repeatedly.

"Just a reminder, the world can be cruel, don't show weakness or trust anybody so easily. The only person you should trust is yourself."

"Trust myself…" Mike mutters out, looking at his hands with confusion and doubt. "How can I trust myself?"

"Something in your mind, mi amigo?"

Mike looked up to see Jay walking over to him. He was wearing his sunglasses, even though it was dark outside, but he seemed to see perfectly well in the dark. Mike was surprised to see Jay here. He was supposed to be at Owen's home since that's where he is currently living. But apparently the human raptor hybrid was out here for a reason.

"Jay? What are you doing here?" Mike asked in surprise.

"I came here to patrol the area, hoping to find the scent of Mortem's henchman." Jay answered Mike calmly as he looked at him. "And you?"

"Me?" Mike asked, earning a nod from Jay, Mike wasn't sure what to answer. He's still trying to think for one. "I…have a lot of things in my mind?"

"And that is?"

"I don't…it's stupid."

"How can I tell if it's stupid if you don't tell me." Jay stated to Mike.

Mike sighs a bit before shaking his head, there is no way he can't talk his way here, so looking at Jay. Mike finally spoke about the reason. "Can I…trust you?"

Jay tilted his head in confusion. "Qué?"

"I said…can I trust you?" Mike asked again, only sounding a bit nervous.

"Why do you ask that question?" Jay asked in confusion.

Mike sighs and shakes his head. "I don't know…it's just come up." Mike looks down in sadness. "I guess…I guess I don't know how to make friends or know if I could trust them."

Suddenly, he felt Jay's covered claws flicking his forehead. Mike winced by this and rubbed his forehead gently before looking up to see Jay who flicked him. The human raptor hybrid was giving Mike the look under his shades. He gets what Mike means. After all, Mike was bullied since he was a kid. Jay had also had trouble trusting others since he was trapped as an experiment in Mortem's base. He was forced to fight to the death with hybrids like him or dinosaurs twice his size.

"I know how hard it is to trust people." Jay began as he remembered the tortured life he had as Mortem's experiment. "I was taken from my family by someone I used to trust. He betrayed me and sold me off to Mortem. I was experimented on, cheated out of my childhood, and never understood true happiness. And when I escaped, I had nowhere to go, no one to trust. Until I met Val, who helped me learn to trust Owen, Claire, and Dr. Wu."

Mike didn't speak as he listened to Jay's words. "Soon, after an interesting meeting with the others, I began trusting others, slowly but surely. I was able to learn how to trust people who are outside of my pack." Jay continued.

"Outside…wait, are you referring to me?" Mike blurted out.

Jay smiled softly. "Sí, you, Sofia, Alex, Tim, and Lexi. I learn to trust you all thanks to Val and my instincts that help me trust you and the others to keep my secret."

Upon hearing those words, Mike smiles back at him. He can trust Jay along with the others. All his life, Mike was an outcast because of his dad's reputation and him being a weak link. He was constantly picked on and made fun of for no reason. Making him slowly lose trust towards people. But when he met Val and Jay, things started to change as Mike began to have faith again to himself and others. Mike then lifts his fist up to Jay, who raised a brown under his shades, as he observes this strange behavior.

"It's called a fist bump, it's like a handshake but with your fist." Mike explained to Jay.

Jay smirked at this before he lifted his fist as well as they both did the fist bumped, chuckling about. Finding it enjoyable to have each other's company. However, it was short lived when Jay suddenly smelled a familiar scent. His expression changed quickly as he sniffed the bench. Mike was confused as he got off the bench while looking at his friend in concern.

"Jay, what's wrong?" Mike asked.

"His scent." Jay said while sniffing the bench. "He was here."

"Who was here?"

"Mortem's spy! He was sitting right here." Jay answered, earning a hasp from Mike, as the human experiment sniffed the bench. "It's faint, but I'm guessing he was here few days ago."

"…Few days ago?" Mike mutters out before he realizes that a few days ago, he was talking to a man that was telling him to trust only himself. And it all suddenly clicked into place. "Jay, I encountered him."

Jay looked at him under his shade with wide eyes. "Qué? When?"

"When Clyde and his friends were being escorted out of Jurassic World, he was sitting there, reading a newspaper, telling me not to trust anyone but myself." Mike explained to Jay.

"He's probably tried to manipulate you." Jay said to Mike before getting up. "We need to tell Owen and since you know what he looks like, you can describe him. Call Owen and tell him we have a description of what the spy looks like."

Mike nodded and quickly took out his phone and started calling Owen. "Come on, come on!" He mutters as he hears his phone ringing. Then he heard Owen answering his call. "Owen! We know what the spy looks like! We're on our way to your place now!"

"Really?! That's great! I'll call Claire and-"

CRASH!

SSSCCCRRREEEHHH!

"HOLY SHIT!"

"Owen! What's going on!?" Mike exclaimed through the phone. Panic and fear were filled in his mind as he heard both Barry and Owen yelling, followed by loud hisses and screeches of unknown creatures. He heard crashing furniture and glass breaking. Jay also heard this and was shocked by the commotion. And then the line ended with another crash. Mike and Jay were shocked and horrified at this as they quickly made a run to Owen's house while the blonde teen called Claire as they ran.

"Claire! It's an emergency!" Mike exclaimed through the phone as he and Jay ran out of the park.

Owen didn't know what happened. One minute he got a call from Mike saying that he found out who was the spy, and the next thing he knew, his house was under attack by wild carnivorous dinosaurs. They crashed into the windows and door. Hissing and snarling at both Owen and Barry. These dinosaurs were small bird-like theropods. They have very long legs with specialized feet, large eyes, and jaws full of serrated teethes. It didn't take long to see what kind of dinosaurs they were.

They were Troodons. Owen remembered from the history of Jurassic Park; the first dinosaur park ever made before it's sudden shut down, that the Troodons were created. But was called to be terminated and scratched off InGen's list for unknown reasons. Either that they were unstable or too dangerous in the park. However, there was a rumor that there was an unknown employee that hid these dinosaurs in a secret quarantine pen before the power went off in Isla Nublar. Yet how can it be? As Owen remembered, they were killed off by the 1994 cleanup team and their embryos were subsequently destroyed, making their regrowth impossible. And yet, here they are. But what's strange is that they have metal collars around their necks, and something attached on top of their heads. But Owen can't think right now, why? Because he and Barry are trying to fight off hungry carnivorous (and probably poisonous) dinosaurs! Owen quickly dodged an incoming Troodon as he tossed a table at it. He quickly went to a chest that was locked and took out a key from his pocket as he unlocked it quickly. Barry, on the other hand, grabbed a lamp and used it to block two Troodons from biting him. He struggles as the Troodons bite on the lamp, trying to get to Barry. They were able to pin him on the wall, causing the man to yell in struggle as he tried to push them off.

BANG! BANG!

Two shots were fired, and they hit the two Troodons on the head, killing them instantly. Barry watched in shock to see the two dinosaurs dropped dead on the floor. Barry looks up to see Owen holding a rifle (a Marlin Model 1895SBL lever-action rifle) and is panting like crazy. But he didn't have time to rest as he tossed a gun to Barry, who dropped the lamp and caught the gun in time.

"Eyes up and ready, Barry!" Owen said to his friend as both men worked together to shoot the incoming Troodons.

They fired many rounds at any one, but they were too fast. One Troodon was about to jump behind Barry, but before it could, something jumped through the broken window and tackled it before it could bite Barry. The two men saw Jay without his shades as he beat Troodon. The two men were shocked by this before Mike quickly came in as well. He dodged two incoming Troodons. He quickly pinned them on the ground by their necks, preventing them from biting him. Soon, he started draining their energies away, making them weak as they lay limped on the floor, unmoving. Jay fought three more while Owen and Barry shot the remaining two.

"I have to check on Val!" Owen exclaimed.

"Go! We'll handle this!" Barry said to Owen.

Owen quickly runs upstairs to Val's room and swings open the door. But to his shock and horror, his niece wasn't here. The window of her room was opened as the wind blew the curtains. Owen yelled in fright as he ran up to the window and saw a vehicle in a distance, driving away from the scene.

"VAL!" Owen exclaimed as he ran downstairs to see the others finishing the threat downstairs. "Val's gone!"

"WHAT?!" The three males exclaimed in shock.

"I saw a vehicle heading out, I need to go after it!" Owen exclaimed, running out of the house and to his motorbike.

"I'll come too. I know how to track." Jay said to Owen.

Owen nodded before he drove his motorbike towards the jungle with Jay leading Owen to their destination. They chased after the vehicle that might have Val inside. They chased after the vehicle through the jungle before Jay came ahead and used his bare claws to grab the vehicle's front, stopping it with great force. Jay hissed as he used his feet to anchor him and the van until it came to a stop. Owen came to a halt as he got off his motorbike and ran to the van.

"Val!" Owen exclaimed as he opened the doors of the van, but to his horror, Val wasn't in there. "What?"

Jay soon ran over to him and was also shocked to see the van empty. That's when he realized what this van was. "It was a decoy!"

Owen's eyes widened in fear and horror. "And that means…"

In the ocean, a vehicle that is a combination of a tank and a motorboat was skimming through the water at high speed. There were armed men inside the boat. They just retrieved the asset that their boss wanted so badly. They made sure that the ones who were protecting her lost their trail by making a decoy, giving them a head start on their escape. They brought the girl on the brig as she was trying desperately to break free, but to no avail. Two guards were placed there, guarding the door, guns ready if she tried to escape. Though there is no chance since the door is reinforced with titanium and it was shut tight with no way in unless they know the passcode. Plus, there was a camera inside, keeping the eye on the asset. Speaking of the asset, Val was huddled in the corner, hugging her legs as she cried. She didn't know why she was here. She was in her room, hiding under her bed as she heard the loud roars and gunshots from downstairs. She was shaking with fear as the little girl heard her uncle's yell, followed by a gunshot. Then three unknown men came into her room as they grabbed Val under her bed before she could scream for her uncle. They took her to a van and drove away in a hurry, taking her to an unknown beach that she was not familiar with. They took her in their boat and locked her in here, alone, cold, and scared. Val whimpers as she cries, whispering to her uncle to save her from these scary men.

"Please…Uncle Owen…someone…help me…" Val whimpers as she cries softly.

However, Val wasn't aware that there was something swimming through the ocean, hearing her call. This creature abandons its hunt as it snuck aboard the vehicle. Sneaking in the door while the two guards were unaware of the creature's presence.

"I can't believe the boss wants this kid." Said the first guard. "Doesn't he already have six of them back on the island?"

"Four, two of them escaped, remember?" Said the second one.

"Oh, yeah. Boss was so pissed off that he was going to murder someone." Said the fist one.

"He sure did, but I heard from Marco that this kid is worth a lot for the boss."

"Really? How come?"

"I only know that this kid has a special DNA of some kind."

"Well, if she's so special, then boss better pay us big-"

THUD!

The two guards lifted their assault rifles as they heard a sudden noise. It wasn't coming from inside the asset's prison; it was coming from the corner. The first one came forward while the second one stayed and guarded. As the guard came closer, one of the members was leaning at the corner, surprising the two guards, but just relieved it was one of them.

"Hey, man. Don't you dare startle us like-" the first guard was cut off when he touched the man's shoulder and he suddenly fell down on the ground, dead.

"Holy Shit!" Exclaimed the second guard.

"How the fu-" The first guard was cut off when a strange creature appeared and roared as it attacked the guard, who screamed and fired at it.

Val jumped as she heard the scream of the guard along with gunshots and roar. She hugged her legs tightly as she heard the roars mixed with screams of men and guns firing from outside. She wasn't aware that the two guards were on the floor, bloodied and dead, as the unknown creature went to the passcode system and clawed it, causing it to break, allowing the door to slide open and the creature to enter. It saw Val huddle at the corner, crying her eyes out. Val heard something approach her as she refused to lift her head to see what it was. She was too scared to even look. Until she felt a gentle nudge. Looking up slowly, Val was surprised to see that it wasn't a guard, but a dinosaur, a hybrid.

It was like her Indominus Rexes, but smaller. Well, technically not small, it's bigger than the raptors (9 ft tall) and has snow-white colored scales all over its body. Though it may resemble the I-Rexes, its head shape is almost gecko flat-like with sky blue eyes. Two rows of sharp teeth in its mouth. Two long arms that have long black claws. Like the Indominus Rexes, it has spine-like decorations on its skull and back. Though its mouth and claws were covered in blood, indicating that it killed the two guards outside.

Val sniffled a bit as she wiped her tears away. "H-Hello…" She stuttered out softly.

The hybrid tilted its head gently as it sniffed at Val, smelling her hot and salty tears. Soon, the hybrid gently licks Val's face gently, making her giggle a bit, slowly forgetting her fear of her capture, as she gently pats the hybrid's snout.

"Y-You heard me, didn't you?" Val asked the hybrid gently.

Surprisingly, the hybrid nodded its head, indicating that it understood her. Val hugs the hybrid's head gently, earning gentle nuzzles and purrs from it. It was like the creature was assuring her that everything is okay. Suddenly, it lifted its head when the alarm started blaring out loudly, indicating that more human guards were coming. Growling, the hybrid gently nudged to get up. The little girl obeyed with no hesitation as she faithfully followed the hybrid out of her prison and to the halls. The hybrid guides Val through the hall, leading her to freedom. However, they came to a halt when a bullet almost hit them. Val yelps in fear as the hybrid growls at the direction of the shot. There were men blocking their path as they pointed their assault rifles at them.

"Capture the asset! We need her alive!" Yelled the leader.

Soon, the men started firing. Val screamed as the hybrid shielded her. Its scales were so thick that bullets had no effect on it. The hybrid quickly pushed Val out of the way and charged at the soldiers as they continued firing at it, but to no effect, as it took them with teeth and claws. Once it was over, and the hybrid covered in blood, it roared to Val, telling her to move it. Val obeyed as she ran over to the hybrid, who picked her up and placed her on its back and made a run for it to the exit. The hybrid ran through the hall and made its way to the stairs when another guard saw them and fired. The hybrid dodged the bullets and jumped at the man, knocking him down. However, one the man's grenades were unpinned by the fall and the hybrid ran through the stairs. It bursts out from the door, and then jumps off the boat with Val clinging on her back as she yelps in surprise when they crash into the ocean's waters, just in time before the grenade went off, creating an explosion that destroyed the boat and everyone in it.

The hybrid exploded out of the water with a roar while Val gasped for air. The two were shielded by the water as the boat exploded. They watched as the boat slowly sank to the ocean in flames. Val hugs the hybrid's neck tightly as she watches in shock to see the flaming boat sink. But was cut off the hybrid jerked itself, startling Val in the process, before swimming towards land. Val held onto it tightly as the hybrid was taking her to an island that the boat was heading to.

And that island was Isla Sorna.
