Treasure Of The Moondance Clan
Rafael met the others outside, he had a few scars of victory on him.
Connor saw that Rafael had a blackened right eye.
"That clan must be dirty fighters if they gave you a black eye." Connor observed.
"Why did they beat you up so bad? What is the Sundance clan after that belongs to your clan anyway?" Elle asked.
Rafael stared down at the buttons on his jacket.
"Spill it, Rafael!" Lisa exclaimed.
"Near the base of Eagle Crag, there is a cavern," Rafael explained. "my ancestors and the Regnery family's ancestors helped each other hide an enormous treasure of silver, gold, platinum, precious gemstones, and even a priceless gold crown that had belonged to our earliest ancestor, the very first King of the Moondance clan."
"I see now." Lisa said to Rafael.
"Ah, but why even hide it?" Elle asked Rafael, she was curious.
"To protect it from thieves," Rafael explained to Elle. "that was the reason behind one set of keys being passed through the generations of my family or even other adult members of my clan as well as the other set of keys being passed down through the generations of the Regnery family."
"Do other romani clans have protected vaults like your clan does?" Lisa asked Rafael.
"All but the Sundance clan." Rafael replied to Lisa.
Connor had a burning question on his mind.
