I hope you enjoy
Alex was laying on Olivia's stomach early one morning. Alex loved the time she had in the morning before Olivia would wake up. She would take the time to talk to the small but firm stomach. Olivia loved waking up to see and hear Alex bonding with their baby.
Olivia's cell phone. "Stabler?" Alex questioned.
"Benson?" Olivia refused to open her eyes. She played with Alex's hair not wanting to leave from their spot. "Are you kidding me?" Olivia jumped up to the news Elliot told her. The room started spinning after that sudden movement. Olivia quickly tossed the phone to Alex as she ran into the bathroom.
Alex picked up the phone, "Hey El, Olivia is currently preoccupied." She got out of bed to check on her vomiting wife. "Where is she going to meet you?" She held Olivia's hair back. "Yeah, she's fine. I think she had too much to drink last night." Olivia sat back against the tub. Alex gave her a wet face cloth. "Yeah I'll make sure she is dressed and I'll make sure she is out twenty." Alex hung up the phone, as she got a glass of water. "Are you okay?" She sat down next to her miserable wife.
"Thanks." Olivia was trying to catch her breath. "Yeah, Always so sudden. Where am I meeting Elliot?"
"Bellevue he said you are meeting Rebecca to talk about Miranda?" Alex informed Liv.
Olivia rolled her eyes as she finally slowly stood up. "Great." She scoffed.
"You looked pleased about this. Who is she?" Alex followed Liv back into the bedroom. She watched Olivia quickly gathering her clothes to get dressed. "Liv, do you want to talk about it?"
"No," She put on her white t-shirt. She tried to put a button down on, but couldn't button up the shirt all the way with it looking like she was going to pop out of the shirt. She left the shirt open until her chest. She was having a hard time putting her pants on.
"Are you sure?"
"I want to put my damn pants on." She explained to Alex as she laid down on the bed.
"Those are mine."
"Why are they on my side of the closet?" Olivia snapped.
Alex handed Olivia a pair of her pants, "It's an honest mistake. And are you sure you don't want to talk about it? Who is this woman that has your emotions rattled." Alex sat next to Olivia.
Olivia took a deep breath in. "Rebecca Hendrix."
"Why does that name sound familiar?"
Olivia changed the pants and stood in front of Alex. "She is my ex from the academy. We were together for two years and then she decided to call it quits because she thought her time was better shrinking heads than saving them." Olivia let the words spill out.
"Why does it bother you so much."
"I don't know. It shouldn't it's ancient history but Elliot won't stop going to her for advice." Olivia explained to her wife, "Maybe it's the hormones."
"Did you love her?" Olivia nodded her head to Alex's question. "She broke your heart. I say they are justified feelings." Alex was completely understanding of Alex's attitude. She kissed Olivia's stomach.
"Thank you."
"Do you miss her ever?" Alex
Olivia looked into Alex's eyes, "No. I might have loved her when I was twenty two, but I was never in love with her like I am with you." Alex stood up. She began a small kiss with Olivia. Olivia grabbed Alex's hand from traveling anywhere. She stopped the kiss as goosebumps formed over her body. She moaned as she quickly stepped out of the embrace.
"What?" Alex was slightly confused.
"I can't be touched by you right now." Olivia couldn't help how easily she gets during her pregnancy.
Alex chuckled at Olivia's situation. "Aww she just wants mommy to feel good." Alex rubbed Olivia's stomach.
Olivia's body flinched as she needed to push away Alex's hand, "I'm serious."
Alex's eyes widened, "Olivia. How are you going to last six more months?" Alex was trying not to laugh at her horny wife.
"Before Elliot gets mad at you. I'm leaving and you should eat your carbs. As you say, the baby wants me to feel good."
Alex watched Olivia leave their bedroom, "Love you too." She finally laughed at Olivia.
Alex walked into Mulligan's to see the detectives at their usual table. She moved towards the table. "Hey babe." Olivia smiled at her wife.
"Hey." Alex sat down next to Olivia. "How was everyone's day?"
"It was a wonderful day of Olivia catching a bad guy and rekindling a friendship?" Munch quickly informed Alex the day.
"What do you mean?"
"Alexandra Cabot, Rebecca Hendrix. Rebecca, Alex." Olivia introduced the new person that was sitting at the table.
"Rebecca Hendrix as in Olivia's police academy girlfriend?" Alex asked Rebecca holding Olivia's hand remembering their conversation from earlier.
"I guess you heard about me?" Rebecca softly smiled at Olivia's beautiful wife.
"I may or may not have heard stories. Why are you here now?"
"I invited her out for drinks, after helping us out." Elliot freely admitted that he was responsible for the outing.
"Olivia why didn't you tell us that you had that kind of history with Hendrix?" Munch asked the two ladies.
Olivia shook her head at Munch's question. "Probably because it's history, no offense Rebecca. But Liv is a professional." Alex explained to the group.
"No offense taken."
"But I do need to hear about the twenty-two year old Liv, that isn't Liv." Alex smiled, "Do you care for sharing now? Or we rented out a place in Hamptons for a fourth of July cookout. We can exchange stories around cops and lawyers." Alex quickly invited Olivia's ex to spend time with them.
"Well Rebecca is a Doctor." Olivia finally put in a word. "And she is probably busy."
"I can check my schedule but we can do dinner if you would like?" Rebecca offered a suggestion.
"We need to hear these stories too." Elliot smirked at Olivia. "Like did Olivia pass her tests on the first try?"
"Olivia's PT was the hardest thing for her. She could do it but was sluggish about doing it." Hendrix was trying to be nice to her ex.
"Oh Olivia still hates running, and I like to do it for fun." Alex smirked as she played with Olivia's hair.
The server placed down mozzarella sticks, quesadilla, and bacon cheese fries. Olivia's nose caught the odor from cheese and meat. The smell was a sour shot into her stomach. She tightened her grip to Alex to try to make her stomach feel better, as Elliot plated a bunch of cheese fries. The smell aired into Olivia's direction. She started shaking her legs as her eyes started to water.
"Liv since when do you not want mozzarella stick?" Elliot noticed she didn't jump on the fried cheese, and the pale look on her face.
"I'm good." Olivia took a sip of water.
Alex watched her wife's subtle movements signaling her to get her out of the bar without alerting the crew something is wrong. "So as much as I have enjoyed this little rendezvous. I do have a meeting with Branch at seven. So I'm going to take my wife and I will see you all later this week." Alex stood up, "Rebecca it was lovely meeting you. I hope we see next weekend."
"See you in the morning." Olivia left the table as quick as she could.
Olivia finally got fresh air out of the bar. She was deeply breathing to try to calm her stomach. Alex stopped Olivia as they moved out of the site of the window.. She caressed her head to look at Olivia who was still holding her hand. "Are you okay?" She knew she wasn't feeling okay.
Olivia nodded, "Yeah. Just need a minute." Her glassy eyes met the blue eyes. She rested their hands on her stomach. Alex smirked at her wife. "What?"
"You almost just got busted."
"Thank you for taking pleasure out of my misery." Liv rolled her eyes into a smile.
Alex tugged at Liv's arm to have started walking. "Well you're the one who wants to keep her a secret."
"You need to work on your patience." Liv rested her head on Alex's shoulder. "It's nice to have something between us. Before I start showing and everyone wants to touch me and thinks they should tell me how to act or eat." Olivia has seen other pregnant friends have been treated.
"I'm pretty sure Munch and Fin would never tell you want to do. And Elliot would do it out of the goodness of his heart." Alex explained to help knock down Olivia's wall she is guarding.
"Yeah, he will treat me like a glass doll. I don't need that." Olivia scoffed knowing how annoyingly overprotective her partner can be.
"I don't mind having two people protecting my child while I'm not there."
Olivia smiled knowing it won't be a bad thing before she moves to desk duty. "But think about the mommy. The mommy gets annoyed if someone talks to me sideways and he has to interject. I can handle myself." She was getting annoyed with just thinking about how many times Elliot has overstepped in an integration. "So you my love can wait, Until we have our sixteen week check up."
"Or when Elliot finds out." Alex's excitement didn't want to wait another five weeks. "And a cookout when we are spending all weekend with friends. And they can hear you in any or all forms. Or the lack of alcohol or hot tub. Might not trigger the detectives or the woman that has had four children." Alex knew what could happen during the weekend.
Thanks for the support
