I hope you like this fluffy chapter

Olivia rolled off of Alex onto her side of their temporary bed. Alex was sweaty and out of breath. Olivia was in love with the morning glow of the blonde. Alex caught a side glance of her wife admiring her. Olivia began nuzzling Alex's neck.

"You are relentless." Alex chuckled at her wife.

"Stop being so beautiful." Olivia explained her problem.

"You know we are going to have to leave this room at some point?" She played with dark hair. "We have to dip in the water. Trevor and Elliot are cooking on a grill. And I think I smell bacon being cooked right now." Alex was getting hungry after her work out with Olivia.

"I rather not be around the bacon smell." Olivia stated the obvious. She continued to softly kiss Alex's neck.

"Babe," Alex firmly stated to get Olivia's attention. She finally gained the eye contact that she needed. "I'm hungry. And you must need to eat too."

Olivia was getting hunger pains as well but didn't want to admit to it, also wanted to avoid the smells coming from the kitchen as long as possible. "Not really. I could lay here in your arms for an hour or two." She smiled at the blonde underneath her.

"Okay how about we split the difference." Alex could tell what Olivia was doing with that statement. "We go one more round in the shower and we will grace the world with our presence. Even if the smell of delicious bacon doesn't go away. Because I'm starving." Alex kissed her wife. She played with her soft brunette hair. "And you're not allowed to starve my kid." Alex placed her hand on Liv's stomach.

"Listen mom, he's fine. If he was starving I promise you I would be eating… eating real food right now." Olivia broke the embrace. She stepped on to the floor.

"Yeah, I don't believe you when you say, I'm fine, anymore. " Alex quickly expressed as she sat up. Olivia stepped in between Alex's legs. Alex was completely in love with the beauty of Olivia's growing mom body. She cupped the small twelve week baby bump. "I don't want anything to happen to either one of you. Because you are stubborn." Alex locked eyes with Liv as she kissed Olivia's stomach.

"I know." Olivia rolled her eyes with the gentle touch of Alex. She stepped closer to Alex as Alex kissed up Olivia's body and her hand slid in between her legs. "Shh… shh... Shower?" Olivia was trying to stay on Alex's schedule.

"Yeah." Alex quickly stood up as her tongue dove into Liv's mouth. She backed them into the bathroom to at least get to them in the room to keep up the schedule.

Olivia and Alex walked downstairs in the kitchen, crowded with lawyers. "Hey you two how was your night?" Abbie smiled. "And morning."

"It was nice being able to sleep in." Alex walked over to the pot of hot water to make tea.

"I wish I over slept like that." Trevor joked about hearing them from the next room over.

"We have to get you a girl, and then we have to see if she would spend the night." Casey mocked the tall man in the group.

"We all know we don't have time for that. We barely have time to hang out with each other." Trevor explained with their hectic schedule. "So the night adventures is all I have time for."

"We made it work." Olivia finally opened her mouth. As she stood next to the kitchen isle.

"That's right because you fell for a coworker," Trevor commented, "Unethical but Divine."

"Don't act like you are better than us. When you two were a thing. An ADA and a Defense attorney yeah totally ethical." Olivia called out Trevor's uncalled for comment.

"Ethical or not." Alex stopped the two from arguing. "Olivia was worth it." Alex placed Olivia's bottle of water next to her, and her hand on Olivia's waist. Alex kissed Olivia's forehead, "Besides I think Olivia would rather work with Casey than me." She began to make Olivia toast.

"She certainly makes me do my job." Olivia joked around with the group.

"So I see there is a volleyball net out on the beach." Casey observed.

"Yeah, that could be fun." Olivia would rather do an activity over sunbathing.

"Say when Elliot and Fin get here cops vs lawyers?" Trevor challenged grabbing a bottle of water.

"Somehow I feel this is an unfair advantage. But you're on." Liv drank her water.

"I don't know Abbie and Alex aren't very good." Trevor called out.

"You're right that's why I won't play." Abbie shot at Trevor. "Sorry Case you're by yourself."

Alex nodded agreeing with Abbie, and handed Olivia her toast. "Yeah, I would try to get a tan on and read a nice book." She took a bite of the leftover bacon.

Everyone helped prepare the food for the cookout. Elliot arrived at the beach house with Kathy and the kids. Elliot and Trevor were very much involved with preparing the meats and the grill.

Alex and Olivia were in their room changing into their bathing suits. Olivia was standing in the bathroom in her red and black tankini. She was looking in the mirror. She placed her hand on her chest that wasn't shy of growing within the three months. She tried to suck in her baby bump. Alex stood at the doorway of the bathroom watching Olivia. "You look so beautiful." She softly admired from afar.

Olivia quickly turned around to her wife. "How long have you been standing there?"

"Long enough." Alex smiled. She walked to Olivia. She stepped behind her to wrap her arms around Liv. She placed her hands on her stomach. "Are you ready?"

Olivia covered Alex's hands, "No, but we agreed and she's not going anywhere." Olivia sunk into Alex's arms.

"You can just wear shorts and a t-shirt?" Alex suggested.

"No, we're going to do it." She stated knowing she wanted to go swimming.

Alex kissed Olivia's shoulder, "I love you." Alex looked in Olivia's eyes through the mirror.

"I love you too."

Alex stepped out of the embrace to grab their towels. She gave Olivia her cover up. She put hers on a light pink floral to match her pastel purple bikini. "Shall we?"

The two walked down stairs to join in the fun. They greeted the gang at the pool, there was music playing. Elliot and Trevor were on the grill getting along. Alex and Olivia placed their towels on the lounge chairs next to Abbie and Casey's location. Olivia and Alex put the suntan lotion on each other's bodies.

Abbie lowered her sunglasses as she looked over to the married couple take off their cover-ups. "Oh my do you two not know how to leave marks on each other?" Abbie asked, seeing love bites on Alex's hip and side. Olivia always has a couple especially around her inner thighs on this occasion.

"Hey, At least I have stopped with her neck." Alex raised her brow as she smirked looking at Abbie.

"Children." Olivia reminded the two.

Elliot interjected, "I do have to say for a couple who has been together for five years. It's nice that your bedroom action hasn't slowed down."

"You're welcome for not living up to your ideals." Olivia laughed off. "And maybe you should woo your wife more often."

Alex watched Dickie and Elizabeth walking towards the group of adults from the group, "So the food smells good." Alex looked over to the two men of the entire group.

"Well hopefully you ladies and dickie enjoy." Trevor smiled, taking the hot dogs and the shikabobs off the grill. He placed all the food on the table. "Lunch is served."

Everyone gathered around the food. They enjoyed the meats, the veggies, the sides. There was a bunch of small talk, and drinks. They had their cops vs lawyers game of volleyball. Elliot's kids joined in one on each team. Alex, Abbie, and Kathy were catching up on some sun and reading. Alex liked watching Olivia interacting with the kids.

Olivia left the game before the group started another game. She ran up to the pool area. She grabbed a slice of watermelon and sat down in between Alex's legs, "You know you have a chair." Alex pointed at the empty towel next to her.

"Why would I want to sit there when I can sit here." Olivia smiled, taking a bite out of the fruit.

Alex sat up, "But you are blocking my body from the sun." She kissed Olivia's shoulder. "Are you willing to share your precious fruit?" She whispered in Olivia's ear so the others couldn't hear them.

Olivia rolled her eyes, and handed Alex her watermelon. "No," She turned to her blonde wife. She wasn't going to share the fruit she was craving. "but you can have this one and I'll get my own. Does anyone else want one?" Olivia asked the other two ladies as she walked back over to the table. She grabbed a new plate of watermelon. She filled up the plate with other fruits that looked appealing to her eyes.

She returned to the three with the fruit to share this time. Alex adjusted herself to have Olivia sit beside her. "You were looking good out there?" Abbie informed them as took a slice off the plate. "I didn't know you could play."

"Well not professionally but I've been out to the beach a time or two. Elliot seems to hold his own." Olivia observed watching him play with his kids. She placed the fruit plate on the side table.

"You know softball, baseball, volleyball, they're all the same I guess." Kathy laughed at the sports.

"That's why Casey is having the time out there." Alex and Abbie were eying their friend playing on the other side of Elliot.

"How's that fruit babe." Alex smiled gazing at her wife, who was finally indulging in the watermelon she had wanted. Olivia nodded her head as her mouth was full. Alex kissed Olivia's temple.

"So Elliot tells me you are going on desk duty?" Kathy questioned the brunette.

The couple looked at each other, "Wow does he not know how to keep his big mouth shut." Olivia looked back at Kathy, "Did he tell you why?"

"No, but I can tell why." Kathy smiled.

"Am I that obvious?" Olivia questioned her partner's wife.

"Am I missing something here?" Abbie didn't like getting left out.

"You're completely glowing." Kathy smiled.

Alex played with Olivia's hair. "She is."

"Hey what's going on?" Casey asked out of breath. Everyone was returning to the pool area.

"We are talking about why Olivia is going on desk duty." Abbie informed.

Trevor handed a beer to everyone, "Why?"

They heard the doorbell, "I'll get it." Elliot walked out of the conversation he already knew about.

"Was it because you passed out at the hospital the other day." Casey took a piece of pineapple from the plate.

"It has to do with that." Olivia answered. "We're…" Olivia held Alex's knee, "We're pregnant." Olivia choked out.

"Really? How long?" Trevor asked.

"We're twelve weeks." Alex informed the group.

"This is great news." Abbie hugged the happy couple. "When are we going shopping?"

"Eventually."

"Alex bought me a giant teddy bear that is currently in the guest room that will become the baby's room." Olivia smiled thinking about the day she came back home after work. The evening after their first visit. She entered their apartment with multiple bouquets of flowers around the living room. Alex played with the bear on their bed.

"I'm so happy for you."

"Why didn't you tell us you were trying?" Trevor was curious about the two.

"Because it was our thing we were doing as a couple and no one else." Olivia quickly shot at Trevor.

"Well I'm happy for you." Casey interjected, "I'm gonna miss arguing with you for the next couple months but…"

"Once she is in your arms, she will be worth all the boredom." Kathy smiled.

"Everyone, Rebecca Hendrix." Elliot joined the group with Rebecca in her shorts and tank to on. She had a small ponytail. "Rebecca, Trevor, Abbie, my wife Kathy and you these three."

"Well thanks for the invite. I brought ice cream and soda. I hope that's okay."

Olivia stood up with a smile, "Yeah. That sounds great." Olivia grabbed one of the bags to help out Rebecca. Elizabeth and Dickie helped out with the ice cream. "I hope you brought your bathing suit."

"I did. This is a nice place you guys booked out here." She was looking around the beautiful scenery.

"Yeah, Alex knows her people." Olivia smiled looking at Alex loving the ocean view behind the woman she loved.

"Olivia." Rebecca touched her shoulder. "How are you doing?"

"Good." She sighed out. "I told Cragen."

"That's good. I hope you aren't doing any more all nighters." She smiled.

Olivia nodded to Rebecca's question. "Rebecca, thank you. For the other day." She handed her a plate of ice cream.

"No problem that's what I'm here for." They moved towards the pool. They sat down on the side of the pool to wade. "You know if I stayed a cop. I wouldn't be there to help you." Rebecca smirked at Olivia.

"That's history, and I'm sorry for how we ended it. I was a bitch." Olivia confessed. "I should have supported you."

"That's okay you know. We did and said things. I should have handled everything better than what I did," She watched their feet make circles in the water. "But did you really see a future with me?" Rebecca asked.

Olivia shrugged her shoulders, "Two years Becca. We were pretty serious. I don't know what I expected. It just hurt, when you end us so suddenly." Olivia was being opened about her feelings from the past.

"You're right."

"I'm what?" Olivia joked.

"I said you're right." Rebecca smiled at Olivia. "But if I didn't break it off."

Olivia looked over to her amazing wife. Alex laying back down. "I wouldn't be married and starting a family. So thank you again."

"So we're good?"

Olivia nodded. "So what about you? You never answered me the other day. Do you have someone in your life?"

"Yeah I've been seeing someone."

Alex watched Olivia and Rebecca interact with each other. "Who is that again?" Abbie asked her blonde companion.

"She's been working a couple of cases with Olivia and Elliot. And she's… she's… Olivia's ex." Alex huffed out.

"Why is she here?" Abbie asked out of concern for Alex.

"I invited her."

"Back up." Abbie sat back up. "Why."

"Because Elliot seems fond of her, and if the squad is working with her. I wanted to be nice to her I guess." Alex confessed.

"Case." Abbie called the red head over.

"Yeah?" Casey sat down next to Abbie.

"What do you know about this Rebecca?" Abbie being more protective about the stranger than Alex.

"She's not so bad, she's kind of cute." Casey gave her opinion.

"Did you know she dated Olivia." Abbie needed to get information.

Casey looked over to the two, "No, but that would make sense on why Olivia was a bitch when we first started working with her."

Alex looked at Casey and Abbie and back over to the other two. "You know what you two play gossip corner." Alex stood up. "I'm gonna go swimming." She didn't want to hear Abbie and Casey talk about Rebecca Hendrix.

Alex walked into the pool and swam next to Olivia. "Hey babe." Olivia placed her legs on Alex's shoulders.

"What are you two talking about?" Alex began to rub Olivia's legs through the water.

"About Rebecca's girlfriend. Another Doctor that works in the children's wing."

"Oh isn't that nice." Alex looked towards Rebecca.

"And possibly a double date?" Olivia asked, playing with Alex's hair.

"I could use a date night."

Everyone gathered around the beach at night with a bond fire. They were roasting marshmallows waiting for fireworks. Alex and Casey were slightly sunburnt. Olivia loved seeing all the friends having a good time. She looked over to her wife who was kind of quiet.

"Are you okay?" She nudged her wife.

"Yeah."

Olivia stood up. "Come on." She stuck out her hand to lift Alex up. They walked closer to the water.

Olivia stepped in front of Alex. She wrapped her arms around Alex's neck. "What are you doing?" Alex laughed at her wife.

"Shh trust me." Olivia wrapped Alex's arms around her waist. Olivia began to sway their bodies.

"You can be a sap sometimes." Alex's heart was the one really melting at the jester.

Olivia twirled her wife. She pulled her tightly back into her arms, "I didn't know dancing in the moonlight is a sappy move. Did you have fun today?"

"I did. You were looking awfully friendly with Rebecca earlier today." She observed.

"You're the one who invited her." Olivia quickly reminded her. "If you don't want to do this double date thing. You need to let us know." Olivia was forward with Alex.

"We should do it. It will be nice." She gave a soft smile.

Olivia gained eye contact. "Al,"

"Do you ever wish that you two had what we have?" Alex shot the question.

Olivia played with Alex's hair. "Fuck no."

"Why you two looked cute together sitting side by side." Alex was being open about her feelings.

Olivia passionately kissed her wife to get her to calm down. "Alexandra Cabot. You are my soulmate. You are my life. I would never want what we have with anyone else. You complete my world." Alex kissed Olivia. "You can thank her for my bedroom skills though that you love so much." Olivia touched foreheads with Alex.

Alex began laughing with her wife's jokes. "Why don't we thank her right now."

"I don't think so, I want you all to myself." Olivia tightened her grip. "No Rebecca, or Trevor." She thought it was fair to mention Trevor's name with the conversation.

Alex's ears perked up with Olivia's statement, "Now wait a minute, comparing those two…"

Olivia pulled Alex in for another kiss to prevent her from arguing with her. "It's the same, except one happened nearly twenty years ago and the other one happened five. I love you. I want you to stare into my eyes and hold me."

Alex smiled at Olivia's bossy wife. "Now that I can do." She kissed her wife as the fireworks started to go off in the sky.
