Cross County Investigation Part 3
"Just promise me that you all will be safe." Elizabeth said.
"Don't worry, Missis Reg," Elle promised. "we will all be very safe."
After they tacked up their horses, the six members of the Saddle Club, Melanie, Jess, Michael, and Phil galloped off to Cross County.
While at Cross County, Phil spotted something in Elle's right hand.
"What is that?" Phil asked Elle, pointing to what looked like a light blue star shaped hoop traveller's earring.
"I might not be able to see it, Phil," Elle said. "but I think this earring might belong to a member of the Blue Star clan."
Lisa came over to the spot where Phil and Elle were standing.
"What did you find, Elle?" Lisa asked.
"I think this earring might belong to a member of the Blue Star clan, Lisa." Elle replied.
"The Blue Star clan," Lisa asked Elle. "Rafael told me that they were one of the more peace loving clans! Why would they of all people wish to burn down the stables at Cross County?"
"This mystery is getting to be thicker than a pot of split pea soup." KC observed, picking up a blue silk scarf.
