Race Against Time Part 1
"What is this problem?" Carole asked Rafael.
"There is more like a few problems on our hands actually." Rafael confessed.
"What are these 'few' problems, Rafael?" Carole asked.
"And do not pull a Scooter on us, tell us the entire truth, Rafael." Stevie added.
"Well, problem number one is, my clan is all out of Wanderer's Heart petals, problem number two is, the Sundance clan is camped between here and the meadow on the other side of Eagle Crag." Rafael said, fluffing Lisa's pillow.
"And, what about problem number three?" Elle asked Rafael.
"Problem number three is, Romina refuses to hand over the vial of antidote she has." Rafael answered Elle, sighing.
"And, problem number four?" KC asked Rafael.
"Problem number four is, Wanderer's Heart only blooms in that meadow three times a month while the moon is at its brightest, and we are nearing the third and final time this month." Rafael answered KC.
"How are we going to solve these problems?" Carole asked Rafael.
"Even if I personally don't have the answers, Carole," Rafael replied. "Grandfather might have them."
"Then, you had better return to your camp." KC observed.
"You are right, Katherine, I'd better." Rafael said.
Rafael hugged KC gently but when he turned to go, Lisa called out to him in her sleep.
"Hmmm... stay... for... a... while... don't... run... away... Rafa... Darling... hmmm..." Lisa called in her sleep.
"I'm going to see Grandfather, Lisa," Rafael said gently. "I will be back shortly."
"Hmmm... I... know... you'll... find... the... way... my... wandering... star... hmmm..." Lisa said to Rafael in her sleep.
Rafael then turned to the rest of the Saddle Club members who were in the secret headquarters.
"Protect Lisa for me at all costs." Rafael said firmly.
Rafael turned to go, until Elle stopped him.
Elle handed Lisa's sword to Rafael.
"Take Lisa's sword with you, you'll know how to use it in due time." Elle said to Rafael.
Rafael put the sheath with the sword in it onto his belt.
"Thank you, Elle, this will come in handy." Rafael said.
Rafael turned on his heel and left the headquarters.
