I'm sorry! I just had to! I have been planning this part for months now that it's so close to that point in time! Gah! I really can't wait for you guys to see it. Q^Q Besides, how else am I gonna put up a teaser? Don't kill me coz this isn't a true update! I'm lucky I even have the time to even make this! This is a first for me since I rarely do things like this. Don't worry! You'll get a real chapter very soon.
The bell tolls in the distance as a woman stands before a burnt down church, holding a small wooden crucifix pendant that had a red stone that glowed for a brief moment
Have you ever felt you could never control you destiny...?
Cradling the pale infant in his arms, he cries up at the blank sky above as the pool of blood begins to spread from the woman before him all the way up to his knees.
Well... who ever said it was destiny that controls you? It is by Fate that decides the outcome of your existence and how they see fit.
A man falls down from the tree, prompting the girl to aim her rapier at the stranger in self defense. "Who are you?" she demands. Raising his hands up in defeat, the man confesses, "I honestly wish I knew myself."
Not every single thing you see is what it seems. There's more to it.
The two stare at one another in shock as the ballroom dancers continue to enjoy the part. She quickly turns and walks away when he starts to approach her. He catches up and jokes, "Looks like you've grown." She scoffs, "Looks like you haven't. I'm not surprised after lying to me who you were when I was a child."
A promise must be kept.
She slaps him across his face as heiress cries out, "You liar! You said you would take me away from this place! You promised that I would be free from this family! Now look at me, I'm just some sort of livestock to them that can easily be married away to maintain the family legacy. Being married off three times only for my husband to die... It's not a life to live with!"
There's always a price to everything.
"Because I was born as a girl instead of a boy, my parents were unable to have anymore kids as it's part of our family tradition."
"And what tradition is that?"
"That the wife keeps having children until a daughter is born. That's why they named me after a descendant of mine that was persecuted of being a witch."
War is inevitable no matter where you are. It just so happens this world was prone to have too many.
Using his alchemy, he creates a wall from the road pavement they stood on to shield them from the barrage of bullets, shocking both the soldiers and the young woman that he was protecting.
Two worlds... two separate gates...
He holds her in his arms and looks down at her, asking her one last time, "Are you sure about this? We may never come back to the same time you came from if we ever come back again." She nods and firmly holds onto his hand, ready to step into the gate with him. "You've told me so many stories of the other side. Maybe it won't be as bad as you think it is after seeing how boring and terrible this world is. I'd rather dive into a fantasy than face my reality any longer."
The two who would give birth to the true connection between two separate sides.
She reaches up, touching his cheek, "Please... I wanted this so badly... Promised you'd take care of her when I'm gone." He grabs her hand and cries out, "No! You and Catherine will live the life you've always wanted for yourself and our child!"
These events always happens for a reason. Though their Fate is a cruel one, she always knows what pieces are to be put when playing her game.
Crying by herself, the little girl looks up in tears as a man with golden hair moves with the wind and his similarly colored eyes smile down at her. A wide smile spreads across her face and rushes over to hug the teen. "Never say goodbye because goodbye means going away and going away means forgetting."
Fate shall always play a game on her own terms.
A hand reaches out from the darkness and places a black chest piece on the chest board. Leaning back, Fate's blue eyes glow for a brief moment in the darkness and leans against the armrest of her sofa seat. She muses to herself, "A boy with the dream of wanting to rid his country's corruption and then a girl wanting to be free from the cage she was born it. How interesting... I wonder what kind of monster those two will make once they meld together into one curious being of their blood."
