It was 5:30am the next morning, the alarm clock was going off. Andy rolled over and told her husband to snooze it, and he did. About 15minutes went by and the alarm went off again, Robert shut the alarm off and wrapped his arms back around his wife, and pulled her body back against his. He started to kiss her neck,because he knew that was one way he could get her to wake up, and she couldn't resist when he kissed her neck. It sent a shiver through her whole body. Andy rolled over and pushed her husband onto his back and climbed on top of him. She started kissing him and slowly moved down his body planting kisses along the way. He let out a soft moan and grabbed Andy and flipped her onto her back and quickly took her shirt and pants off. It was about a 20 minute drive to work. Traffic was flowing as normal, they arrived at the station at 7:45am and walked in hand in hand. At this point having everyone being accepting of their marriage, it didn't bother them to show affection for each other at work. They headed to the beanery to have breakfast with the team. Andy and Robert walked in holding hands and said good morning to everyone. They enjoyed breakfast as a team, it was about 9:30am and the alarms went off for Engine 19, Ladder 19, and Aid 19 for a house fire at 259 Chambers Ave. They quickly ran to get into their gear and leave. It took them five minutes to get to the house, by then the house was fully engulfed. Captain Bishop gave the team their orders, their was a seven year old boy with his dog trapped in the house. Dean and Jack were on search and rescue for the little boy and his dog. Vic and Ben were on truck with the hoses starting to spray the lower level through the windows. Andy and Travis were on aid car and treating the parents. They heard Jack call over the radio that they found the boy and his dog and were coming out. Jack carried the boy out, he was unconscious, and Dean carried out his dog who was shaking from being scared. Andy quickly took the boy and started to work on him and give him oxygen. Shortly after the boy woke up and got scared when he couldn't find his mom and dad, and dog. The boys parents came over and with his dog, and they climbed in the back of the aid car, and aid 19 left the scene. Jack was driving and Andy was in back with the family. The rest of the team finished putting out the fire and headed back to the station. Andy and Jack arrived at Grey Sloan and took the family inside. They were relieved they were able to save the boy. After signing the paper they needed to they headed back to the station.
Back at the station Robert was sitting in his office waiting for the team to get back. It was around 11:30am when the team arrived back at the station. The team headed to the showers to get cleaned up. Meanwhile, Andy headed to Roberts office to see him because she was already missing her husband. She knew he was in his office doing paperwork, so she knocked on the door and waited for him to answer. He said to come in and she had entered. She walked in and right away locked the door and closed the blinds. The team knew when the blinds were closed not to bother the chief because he was with Andy. Robert looked up and notice what she was doing, and he said, babe why are you closing the blinds. She turned and looked at him and gave him the look she always gave him when she was up to something. She walked over to her husband and slid his chair back so she could sit on his lap. She started to kiss her husband, the kisses grew more passionate and deeper. Andy released a soft moan, knowing that they were at the station, but at that point neither one of them cared. She started to unbutton his shirt and ripped it off of her husband. Robert quickly took Andy's shirt off and stood her up to remove her pants and underwear, he also removed his pants and boxers. While after having lunch with the team, Vic and Maya asked to speak with Andy. They wanted to talk to Andy about a special plan they had, they wanted to give Andy a bridal shower. When the girls brought it up to Andy, she shed a few tears because she was shocked that they wanted to give her a bridal shower. Andy said yes she would love that, so Vic and Maya started to plan out the bridal shower. They didn't want Andy to help with the plans, it was something they wanted to do for their friend. So Andy walked out of the beanery and headed to the gym to get a workout in before they get another call. While she was working out, Dean came in to lift some weights. The two were talking about baby Pru and how big she was getting and Dean was talking about how Pru's first birthday was coming up and how he couldn't believe she was going to be one. Andy had told Dean that she hoped that one day her and Robert would have a baby of their own. Dean couldn't believe Andy was talking about having babies, he knew she loved watching Pru when he went out with Vic. He didn't think she would want kids so soon. She loved spending time with baby Pru and couldn't wait to go shopping for her birthday gift. A few moments later Robert walked in to workout and hit the punching bag. Dean had just finished his workout, and was about to head out, when Robert asked him if they would be watching Pru over the weekend. Dean said he had to check with Vic to see what day they were leaving, and would let him know what day they were going to bring Pru over. Dean headed out of the gym and went to the beanery for some water. Andy and Robert were alone in the gym and Andy couldn't wait to tell her husband about what Vic and Maya were planning. She began to say babe, guess what and was then interrupted by the alarms sounding for a fire at a storage unit. Calling Engine 19, Ladder 19, Aid 19 and Battalion chief. Andy and Robert were so distracted about what they were talking about, that they just looked at each other and knew it was big since he was getting called in. They hurried downstairs to get ready and they were so distracted that they didn't hear the address of the fire. Robert hopped in the battalion truck, Andy and Travis on aid car, Dean and Jack on ladder, and Vic and Ben on engine, and Maya rode on engine. They headed to the scene, Andy didn't know where they were headed and Travis just drove to the scene.
When they pulled up to the scene Andy's heart sank into her stomach. The color drained out of her skin and she went as white as a ghost, when she saw where they were. Travis looked over at Andy and saw how pale she looked and he got so worried. He quickly called over the radio to the chief to get to the aid car quickly, it was important. Maya gave out the orders for what everyone was doing on the scene. The owner was trapped inside with two other people. Robert ran over to the aid car like Travis asked, when he got to the aid car he took one look at his wife and his heart sank. He hasn't seen that look on her face since 11months ago when her father lost his life at this very same spot. He quickly went to Andy and opened the door to the aid car to talk to her and hold her in his arms. He radioed to Maya to send Dean, Jack, Ben, and Vic in for search and rescue to look for the three people. Robert finally was able to get Andy out of the aid car and took her over to his truck to talk to her, and get her to relax. Andy just froze looking at the roof and started to cry. Her cries became harder and stronger. She never imagine that they would be called back to the place that she lost her father. She couldn't control her cries and began to hyperventilate and go into a panic attack. Robert rushed to her side and called for Travis to bring oxygen over to his truck ASAP. He called for Aid car 23 to come take his wife to their aid car to lay down, but Andy refused. She just clung onto her husband for dear life. She feared if he had to go in she would lose him. Robert didn't leave her side, he took back charge of the scene and gave orders while holding his wife. Meanwhile, Jack and Dean found the owner and were heading out. They got out safely and took the owner to aid car 23. They were still waiting to hear from Ben and Vic. They finally heard Vic come over the radio that they needed help because a beam fell and they couldn't get out. Dean quickly grabbed a hose and ran back in to save the woman he had fallen in love with. He finally got to where they were trapped and started spraying the hose to put the fire out. Vic had a burn on her arm that needed treatment. They all made it outside and started defense attack to put the fire out. Vic was taken to Grey Sloan to be told Chief Sato who was also there that he needed to leave to get his wife away from the scene. Sato said ok and that he had the scene under control. Robert got Andy into his truck and they left.
The drive back to the station was very quiet. Andy didn't say a word the whole ride, she just stared out of the window. When they got back to the station, Robert walked around to the passenger side of the truck and opened the door to help Andy get out. Her whole body was numb and when she stood up she just collapsed and Robert caught her in his arms. He chose to carry his wife into the station and up to his bunk and lay her on his bed, and wrapped her in a blanket and just laid with her. She had gripped onto her husbands shirt with all her might, and wouldn't let go. Her cries seemed to let up as she slowly drifted to sleep in her husbands arms. Robert had to find out how things were going at the fire, so he switched on his radio and listened while he held Andy. Two hours passed and Andy started to wake up, and didn't realize where she was, she had dry tear stains on her cheeks and her eyes were red and puffy. She looked at her husband and released the grip she had on his shirt. She sat up and looked at him confused. She has never froze on a scene before and couldn't figure out why they were at the station. So Robert explained what happened and she started to cry again. The two just stayed in Robert's bunk listening to the radio and cuddling. A few hours later they heard the trucks pull back into the station and Andy wasn't ready to face the team. She felt like she let her team down by having a breakdown on the scene but her friends understood. It was hard for them to be back at the storage units where they lost their captain. Robert told Andy he was going to debrief with the team and that he would be back. So he met with them in the beanery, and told them he informed dispatch that station 19 was taken offline for the rest of their shift, because he knew how upset his team was. They all asked how Andy was because they were concerned for their friend. Robert told them that he got her to rest a little, but she's very shaken up. Robert had Dean call Grey Sloan to see how Vic was and he was told she would be able to go home tomorrow, they wanted to keep her overnight just to monitor her. Dean hung up the phone and let his chief and captain know. It was the guys turn to make dinner so Dean, Jack, Ben and Travis got cleaned up and started making dinner.
Meanwhile, Robert went back to his office to check on his wife, when he walked in his heart shattered to a million pieces. She had been crying more, and her skin color was extremely pale again. He walked over to his wife and covered her back up, and while laying the blanket on her she woke up and looked up at him. He asked her if she wanted to come join the team for dinner. She was a little hesitant to say yes, but she finally agreed. She wanted to be surrounded by her family. Robert helped his wife to her feet. They walked to the beanery together and the entire team stood up and walked over to Andy and they all hugged her. They all sat around the table and ate dinner. They were all quiet throughout dinner, because no one knew what to say. After they finished eating, the girls said they would clean up. Once they finished cleaning up from dinner they all went down the hall to the TV room and just hung out. It was around 10pm and everyone was getting tired, so they decided to call it a night. They all headed to their bunks and Andy headed to her husbands bunk because she didn't want to be alone after the events of today. She changed into her pajamas and waited for her husband to come back from his shower. Once he was back he laid on the bed with his wife, pulled her close to him, and kissed her goodnight. Before they fell asleep Andy told her husband how much she loves him and told him to promise her, that he would never die or leave her alone. That made his heart sink because he knew they both had risky jobs, but he promised his wife he would always be there for her, and that she shouldn't worry to much. He also reminded her to look forward to all the good things that were coming their way. She rolled over and kissed her husband once more and said goodnight, nuzzled her face into his chest and fell asleep in her husbands arms.
