"The fire at the motel was finally out and the crew was heading in for overhaul and to search for the cause. When Andy heard the words "Andy it's no use she's gone" she didn't want to hear those words. Robert ran over to his wife and wrapped her in his arms. As Andy tried to fight back the tears, she looked around the scene. She knew her mom and Tia Sandra left together and both of them were staying in that room. She didn't see her aunt or her car anywhere. Andy thought….where in the world would Tia Sandra be at this hour. She yelled to Maya and said "Captain can you have the guys check for my mom and aunts stuff," Maya said absolutely. Robert looked at Andy confused and asked "baby what's going on?" Andy quickly turned around and hugged her husband so tight he knew something wasn't right. Andy, baby talk to me, i am here and i'm not leaving your side, you just lost your mom. Andy wiped her eyes and looked him in the eyes and said "babe can i use your phone i left mine in the truck." She was trying to remember her aunt's number, but her mind was racing. Thankfully Robert had saved her aunt's number. He helped her dial it. Tia Sandra quickly answered, "Robert is Andy ok its 2am." Robert said yes but she's a mess and extremely worried, we were called to a large fire at the motel you and Elena were staying at. The room you both were in was completely engulfed and one of our firefighters pulled out a woman who didn't make it and we couldn't make out her face and Andy is scared it's her mother. Sandra replied can you please put Andy on the phone. Robert handed Andy the phone. QUIckly Andy said "Tia are you ok where are you, is mom with you, why aren't you both here. Sandra could barely get a word in, but she was finally able to say Andy, my beautiful girl, I need you to breathe and listen to me. Your mom and I are safe. We checked out of the motel yesterday morning before your bridal shower. We are staying with your cousin Michelle. Andy's heart sank and she fell to the ground, started to cry, and dropped his phone and Robert quickly sat on the ground besides her. Andy, baby what is going on? Is it your mom? All she could do was shake her head. Robert picked up his phone and asked Sandra where she was, she told him she would text it to him and asked for him to bring Andy there now. He hung up with her, called Travis over and asked him to sit with Andy while he talked to Maya. He had his battalion chief truck and told Maya he had to take Andy to go see her aunt, he believes the woman is not Elena and he would call Maya when he had confirmation. He went around to the other side and got in and buckled."Robert plugged the address into his GPS and they left. It was about an hour drive to get to where Sandra was staying. She couldn't find it in her to speak. The drive felt like a lifetime, and was so silent They held hands the whole time. They finally got to the house, Andy just looked at Robert, she had never seen this place before but after what her aunt just told her she half smiled. Robert got out and went around to open the car door for his wife. Andy got out and grabbed Robert's hand tightly. He could see she was super nervous and her breathing picked up. They both looked up and saw Sandra walking down the driveway, she reached Andy and Robert and wrapped her arms tightly around her niece. Oh my sweet girl, come on let's get you inside. They all started to walk inside when Andy looked up and saw her mother standing in the doorway. She let go of her husband's hand and she ran to Elena. Robert just smiled knowing that Elena was safe and not the woman that died in that fire. Mami, I was so afraid that I had lost you again. Oh Andy, I can't leave you again, i know I screwed up by leaving 20 years ago, and I regret it. I missed so much of your life. I want to be in your life and see my grandbabies when the time comes. I want to watch you renew your vows to Robert. I'm here and will be for as long as you let me. Let's go inside and sit down. Robert followed them inside and said if you ladies excuse me i have to call my crew and update them, they were all worried. Andy finally spoke and said babe please stay with us, call them in here with me. Of course when she asked he smiled and sat beside her and called Maya. He couldn't imagine Andy's fear if she ever lost him. He knows he would die without her. Andy then remembered Tia Sandra said they were staying at her cousin Michelle's house, so she asked where Michelle was. Tia replied she was at work and would be home in the morning.. While on the phone with Maya he found out that the fire was started by a cigarette in a trash can by the curtains. It turned out the deceased woman was one of the cleaning ladies who worked overnights. Maya, the team and Seattle PD were trying to locate her family. Robert hung up and joined in the conversations. The four of them were laughing and having fun catching up. Even though it was super late they didn't care they were Andy's family. Andy has lost so much in the past year it was good to see her smiling and having fun, it made Robert extremely happy. Sandra could tell Andy and Robert were exhausted, so she told them they could take the spare room for the night. Andy and Robert smiled and nodded, Elena showed them to the bedroom.
"It was late and Robert could tell how exhausted his wife was, normally she would want to make love like they had done every night especially when they were in new places. It is something they enjoyed and their way to make new memories. Robert thought it would be weird to make love to his wife with her mom and aunt down the hall, although they were tempted. Andy curled up close to her husband and said babe can you just hold me tonight. So he did, he wrapped his arms around her and pulled her as close to him that he could get her. The smell of her husband and knowing he was holding her tight, made her start to fall asleep and she felt safe. After all he is her safe place. Andy whispered i love you so much babe, and Robert replied i love you more baby. Andy drifted off to sleep, Robert followed shortly after. A few hours later Andy woke up out of a deep sleep, she was still wrapped in her husband's arms. Robert felt Andy move and he woke up. Good morning beautiful he said to her, she smiled and said good morning babe. Robert realized the date and told Andy they had their rehearsal dinner for their vow renewal tonight. Andy smiled and rolled over and kissed her husband, their kiss became deeper and more passionate. Robert stopped, baby were not home, were at your aunt and cousin's house, they are right down the hall. Andy didn't care at that point where she was, she told him she needed him. Robert smiled and sat her up to get her undressed, he then got naked. He quickly got up and went and locked the door so no one would walk in on them. He walked back to his wife, she was laying on her back waiting for him. He climbed on top of her and started to kiss her, he knew he couldn't do what he normally would do. They both looked at each other and ran to each other. The two hugged for what felt like hours. Andy hadn't seen Michelle since they were little. They spent the next few hours talking and catching up. It was about 11am and they were all hungry, their rehearsal was at 7pm tonight. Robert had suggested they all go to lunch but him and Andy needed to go home to shower and get ready. Elena said that sounds great we can meet for lunch around 1:30pm Andy smiled and said absolutely. They all said goodbye and gave each other hugs. Robert and Andy walked out the front door, got in the car and left for home. Robert loved seeing his wife so happy, the only person missing was his father-in-law. He and Pruitt never really had gotten the chance to get close, but Robert promised to do everything in his power to keep Andy happy. That is all her dad ever wanted for her.
"About an hour later Andy and Robert arrived home, they walked into their house and went upstairs to their bedroom. They both got undressed, and walked into the bathroom, grabbed their towels and hopped in together. As much as the two loved to have shower sex, they knew they didnt have much time, so they just showered. Andy asked Robert to wash her hair as he always did when they showered together. She just loved when he washed her hair. She then handed him her lufa and he washed her back. As she finished washing, he did the same. Andy washed his back for him. The two hopped out and got ready for the day, they had their clothes picked out for the rehearsal dinner but they wore something else to lunch. They grabbed their dinner clothes and took them downstairs with them. It was almost 1pm and they had to leave soon to meet Elena, Sandra and Michelle for lunch. Andy and Robert got their shoes on, grabbed the car keys and headed to the restaurant. When they arrived, the three women were waiting outside for them. Andy and Robert joined them, and they headed inside. They all sat down, enjoyed a delicious meal, talked for a while. Elena decided that her and Sandra were going to pay the bill. The five of them still had about three hours til the dinner, they didn't realize how long they had been sitting at the restaurant talking. Andy suggested they go to the park and walk. They all said yes. They arrived at the park, Elena pulled Robert aside to talk with her son-in-law. Andy and MIchelle went off on their own for a few, Andy had asked Michelle to stand up in the vow renewal, she wanted her cousin up their next to her. Of course Michelle said, I would love too. Meanwhile, Elena had told Robert that her and Sandra were talking and they wanted to send them on a week honeymoon to Hawaii with all expenses paid. Robert was caught by surprise, he was excited to share that news with Andy, but Elena said let it be a surprise to Andy. Elena said just tell Andy you are going on vacation just don't say where, but you can tell her Sandra and I are sending you both. He smiled and agreed, Andy will love it, she has always wanted to go there. It was now about 5:45pm and they needed to head to the Station to get ready. Andy wanted their reception to be at the station because she knew her dad would be there in spirit since he loved Station 19, it is where he raised her and created her family. They all left and headed to the station. Andy had the biggest smile on her face in the car ride over, and so did Robert. Andy looked at her husband and said you look super happy what's going on? Robert said, while your mom, aunt and i were talking they told me they were sending you and I on a vacation for a week. Andy smiled and replied, are you serious babe. He said absolutely, we leave tomorrow after our reception. Robert asked Andy what her news was, she said Michelle said yes to standing next to me tomorrow at our vow renewal. He smiled and said baby, seeing you this happy makes me so happy, I'm glad we are doing this with all our friends and your family. Andy looked at him and said, babe they are your family now too. They arrived at the station, Robert got out and walked around the car and opened Andy's door for her. They were extremely shocked at what they saw when they walked in.
